  Huh?

There's starting to be so many things in my system that its hard to even remember what everything does.

It probably wouldn't make sense to other people but I stuck with my current build of +1 Int, +1 Wis, and +1 Appearance.

This should help with my mind control build. But normally an enchanter would probably do +2 INT, and +1 Wis, if they didn't have my weird build.

Wait it looks like I picked up a bonus +1 Wis also for acquiring new skills! I applied this also, with my other 3 used stats. And then I clicked on the confirm button.

  The screen changed...

But then I saw status screen notification in the middle of the screen.

[Level up increment reached; Level (10)! Congratulations Murim player!]

Player?! And now its calling me also 'Murim' player, which I never liked. It made me bite my lip.

  What the hell?!

I didn't ask to play this murder game of underground deviants and psychos! To me that's what murim looks like.

I clicked on the notification system. For getting to level 10 its giving me this bonus package upgrade. It distributes a package based on my accomplishments, which gives me other bonus stats, based on past performance.

And my performance has been great, outstanding even. So the package I got was extremely good.

The package reads as; +2 to all stats, except +5 to core stats. For me core stats are (Int, Wis, and App), which all affect my enchant and mind control skills.

I don't yet know if everyone gets these 10 level increment bonuses or just me actually.

The system finally pulls up my new upgraded screen...

Then I went back to sleep.

I got up around 8:30 AM. The others had let me sleep longer.

I took stock of what was going on.

It seems like the others put me to bed after I passed out after trying to use that high mana powered enchant to create a safe zone to block the door; which thankfully worked. And I'd passed out from insufficient mana. But I'd not died and managed to withstand a pretty big system shock.

I was quite lucky. Shelly especially kept telling me how lucky I was. And then she did it again and again to rub it in.

I gave her an ugly look and she shut up finally.

Also we're still in the same building as before but everything seems safe. However, the zombies are still there outside. And we're trapped inside!

The others didn't risk wanting to fight zombies without me and its been 2 days with me asleep. This made them worried about if I'd ever wake up, but they managed to stick it out.

But during that time their food has been running out still.

The others had turned the other room into a makeshift kitchen.

Breakfast at around 9 AM. This is made from a few canned things we'd hunted, and some kind of bird meat that they'd hunted.

Its also the first time I've heard birds are even on this dungeon floor. But then I had to worry about if they'd mistaken live birds for undead birds.

Linz guessed what I was thinking and told me don't worry, she'd checked it. Plus, the healer job has a skill called [Bless], which when used on food prevents it from infecting you with undead status.

Well, within reason. If its cooked it will work. But who knows what would happen if some starving guy bit a zombie?

  ...

And there's some bad news also.

The [Safe Room] enchant is incomplete but does work. (Found out at about 9:30 AM.)

However, its put the whole building into its own sub-level. And this has somehow affected the whole dungeon floor, and had resulted in an earthquake.

The others are worried about if the building is damaged and where but didn't dare go looking without me.

  Oh shit. That's not good.

So we need to check the whole place also while finding food. The others are also worried about this.

According to the others, also the foundation of this building is slowly sinking also because of what we did with changing the dungeon level by making even only 1 room a safe zone. And they worry that may have unintended consequences, not only the earthquake.

I'm not upset about missing the earthquake. But I must have been pretty out of it to sleep during that.

And it seems the reason my mana bar isn't filled up is because the enchant had hit my body so hard that it was having trouble filling back up with the enchant takin
g some future mana in order to not kill me.

And just earlier was when it had finally satisfied the requirements for this.

  Interesting.

Melanie also gave me bad news...

"Jay. Your safe zone enchant works, but someone has to stay in it the whole time or it will start to lose its effects," Melanie told me.

"What? But safe zones are permanent!" I argued.

"You mean they are supposed to be permanent. But yours is incomplete. We need you to go stabilize it," she warned me. "And hurry because Mandy doesn't like hanging out there alone. She's been there this whole time, with us trading places with her keeping someone in it. Miguel also almost ditched us fearing you wouldn't wake up. But I talked some sense into him. You should make sure he knows you are awake," she said.

"What about the new blonde girl?" I asked.

"Stacey? Yeah she needs her treatment bad. She's...not done well since you were gone. Shelly had to put her into a medical coma like state. Apparently there's a skill for that," Melanie said with a frown.

I didn't know there was a skill for that either. But its kind of advanced and hard to get.

I reset the pacify on the new blonde girl. Then Shelly and I woke her up, gently and slowly of course.

And just like we'd expected she did sort of freak out at first, but a hit of my pacify skill calmed her right away.

Little by little, I collected our people that are in various rooms resting and depressed. Depressed and isolated is bad in dungeons; sometimes people will let their mind cook enough to just run off and leave the others.

First, Miguel is told to not run off and that we're fine. 9:37 AM.

Then I verified that indeed, Simone has class changed into a ranger class! (Found out during breakfast; she was excited about this.) But her level is reset to level 1.

"Wait, that's not a bad thing," Melanie told me.

"Its not? But it was level 10 before?" I scratched my head.

"She doesn't lose the other stats or skills. And she got a few freebie ones for her job. She also can use the tracking skill and alertness skill now. She says that means that the former boss of this place can't sneak up on us now without her knowing about it," Melanie told me while Simone was in the bathroom.

  Name; Simone Mansfield

  Race; Human

  Magic job; Villager → Ranger

  Level; 10 → 1

  Health; 78/86 → 82/90

  Mana; 9/9 → 14/14

  Mana Regen; 1 → 2

  Health regen; 3 → 4 (per day)

  Element affinities; Nature (weak)

  Str; 25 → 27Agi; 42 → 44Con; 48 → 49

  Int; 54 Wis; 44App; 94

Skills; athletics, jogging, defend +2, block, parry, evade +1, Search, spear proficiency, Forage +5 (new!)

  Gear list;

  Bikini top

  Levis pants

  Sneakers

  Baseball bat +1

  Buckler +3

  Spear

Things are starting to pick up.

Melanie is now also level +1, making her level 14 now. She's less enthusiastic, because she hadn't expected to really put much faith in leveling as a non-combat class.

That's pretty amazing considering she wasn't supposed to be a combatant.

And because she was thrust into it, I found her, and her sister Shelly training in a room for martial arts, and defense skills with blocking and parrying. (Around 10 AM.)

"No, no, keep your guard up," I heard Shelly coaching her.

  "Like this?" Melanie asked.

"No, more like that," Shelly moved Melanie's arms.

Then they went to do another practice combo after Shelly had adjusted Melanie's positioning.

They'd also converted that room into a gym using anything they could find. They kept going at it, and its easy to see Shelly has good skills. Over and over Shelly is trying to coach her.

And like usual Shelly is tight lipped about stats and levels, which I'd expected. But she still could have coached us into what other skills to watch or train up. But I know that she knows more than she lets on.

"How do I do that thing you just did?" Melanie asked her.

"Like this..." Shelly stopped and then they both looked at me, noticing me in the doorway.

  We chatted a bit.

Shelly still scowls at me sometimes. But I guess its because she used to get that amplify buff from Melanie before I came along. And it was valuable enough to make her not want to share Melanie, her sister.

But she can't do anything about it while Mel likes me. So she's willing to cooperate with me despite being grouchy.

I waved and then went to further inspect the area where my team is.

  ...

Sex with Linz at around 10:05 AM.

Sex with Simone around 10:31 AM.

  Wow. This is the life.

  ...

"Hey can I talk to you about something real quick?" Simone asked me while still undressed, sitting up in bed.

  "Sure."

"Do we have to go back to town? Why not stay here? If we can really make this whole building a safe zone, using your skills then why not live here and just keep training and getting stronger? We also wouldn't have to pay rent!" she said.

We discussed it a bit further.

I was surprised Simone would go for this.

But I doubt all the others will.

Like Miguel and Shelly definitely want to leave.

But right after that Linz pulled me aside and confessed to listening to what Simone told me. She also doesn't want to go back to town also, partly because she's afraid she might be 'wanted by the law' now for being in the bandit prince's team recently.

She...cried about this a bit; but it seemed it was from the perspective of disappointing me and not necessarily from what she'd done in the past.

If I can level up my mind control skills more, then wouldn't I be able to help her fully repent and actually WANT to be good for real?

I really need to create more skills for this also.

Plus, Linz is so hot. It would be a waste to reject her, even though she's flawed.

  ...

  Mandy and Linz haven't leveled.

  Plus...around 10:30 AM Linz confessed...

Confessed that she loves me. And that she was bad while I was asleep and doesn't want me to be angry with her.

"What did you do?" I asked.

But then I found out they'd dueled while I was asleep; which I really was kind of angry about. They'd been sort of probably trying to figure out who would be the top alpha girl I think. And this surprised me.

I was upset at first, until Linz assured me that neither of them was injured, and that they'd used a special tool to prevent injury.

And despite Mandy being a higher level, Linz had somehow won. (They'd used some kind of magic item to do it, so when they came out neither was hurt.)

Speaking of which where is Mandy? Right now I'm just talking to Linz.

And coordinating with this many girls sure takes a lot of time.

When people talk about dungeoning and adventuring they really don't paint a picture well enough of how time consuming it is just doing daily duties and life support functions and camp activities with a whole team and trying to get everyone on the same page!

So 'Bad Girl' Linz has some real skills, I thought. It couldn't have been easy for her to win against a knight like Mandy. Knights are the epitome of survival and avoiding damage.

Just how did Linz get so powerful, I wondered.

"Hey can I talk to you privately?" the blonde girl I'd rescued asked.

  "Uh sure," I said.

She nodded for me to follow her to one of the unused private offices.

Then she sat down in the desk, watching me carefully.

"I'm Rita," she said, extending her hand.

I shook her hand, which was limp at first but then she got more energized after seeing I didn't intend to kick her from the party. "Jay," I said.

  "So..
.I feel different. I guess you treated me?" she asked.

  I nodded.

"How come it doesn't last? It seems to last 4 hours or so. After that I get feeling upset again. Jeez, I wish I could control it. I want my life back!" she said with anguish.
