Kings of Chaos

“Don’t make me ask again Hazel.” Holy shit…his commanding voice was coming out to play.

Laying back down, doing as I was told, settling against the pillows. A pleased smirk on his face as he crawled onto the bed. His hands running up my bare legs, leaving a hot trail of fiery kisses along my skin as he moved upwards.

“That’s my good girl.” Lifting one of my legs up slightly, he moved to my inner thigh. Covering every inch of my feverish skin with his sweet, tempting kisses.

“Talon, please.” Glittering emeralds gazed up at me.

“What do you need, love?” My hips squirming already, unable to stay still. “Tell me where you want me, and I’ll give you exactly what you need.” His hands splayed over my thighs as they pushed my shirt out of the way. Revealing all of me to this glorious man.

“I want you-” Holding back, embarrassed by what I truly want. Like saying the words were shameful.

“Hazel tell me, or do I have to figure it out for myself?” Arching an eyebrow at me like he was daring me to tell him to figure it out.

“I need…I want you inside of me.” Kicking off his sweatpants, ready to give me exactly what I wanted. He was kneeling in front of me with his rigid cock on full display. Teasing himself with his own hand, making me watch…fuck, my mouth was watering.

“You want this?” More than anything. Yearning for the fullness of his impressive length.

  “Yes.”

“Anything to please my Queen.” Strong hands gripped my hips as he pulled me to him. Within the blink of an eye, he was driving himself within me. My back bowed off the bed, taking my breathe away. A slight wince from the sharpness of his hardness.

“Shit, you ok darling?” Cooing over me, pressing his lips to mine. His hand tracing along my collarbone. He must have noticed my sudden tenderness.

“I’m ok, just a little sore.” Cursing when he realised that I was in pain. Moving as if he were about to pull out of me.

  He could think again.

My hands held onto his waist. Urging him further inside of me. Going as deep as he could go. His little groans turned me on even more.

“Hazel.” This was right where he was meant to be.

“I need you Talon. I can handle a little…discomfort for a few seconds.”

“Are you sure?” Still not convinced. The last thing he wanted to do was hurt me in any shape or form.

“I’m sure. Now Talon, I need you to fuck me like you mean it.” His eyes glazed over with shock. His jaw went slack, wondering if he had heard me right.

Those magnificent hips of his started to move then and all was right with the world again. Fucking me just like I needed. Hard and deep. Giving me just what I asked for. My legs ended up over his shoulders. Hitting me from a deeper angle. The bed was shaking from our vigorous lovemaking.

“Fuck, love. Your so damn tight.” Suddenly I was being flipped over. Straddling my King now. Hands on his muscular chest. Running my fingers over the swirls of ink that were etched into his skin.

“Ride me Hazel.” Only too happy to oblige. Moving up and down on his rock-hard cock. Getting used to taking him so fully. Spearing myself on his manhood, bouncing just a little.

I pulled my shirt over my head, leaving me naked for him. His eyes were mesmerised by my breasts. His hands cupped them then. Teasing them, kneading them. Showing them so well-deserved affection.

“Oh, love. Fuck…” His groans of pleasure spurred me on. Picking up the pace. I could feel his hips bucking underneath me. Driving him mad when I circled my hips.

He suddenly sat up, his hand grabbed the back of my neck and forced me to look him in those burning emerald eyes.

“All mine.” Yes…I was all his, no question in that. He buried his face in between my breasts as he took charge. Growing feral with his thrusts. Fucking me with savage need.

  He was relentless.

“Talon...I’m so close.” Moaning as I felt the coil building and building within me. Burning hotter, growing tighter, pulsing with my imminent climax.

“Then come, love. Let me feel you come all over my cock.” How could I refuse? Talon had a power over me. Speaking to my soul, a true master of my body. With one command, I was coming undone for him. Crying out his name. Shaking from the euphoria that roared through me. Feeling Talon’s release shoot deep inside of me. Claiming me from within, leaving his mark.

Collapsing onto the bed now, still entangled within one another. Talon was still sheathed deep within me.

“You’re going to be trouble for me.” He murmured as he tried to catch his breath. A cheekiness in his voice.

“Funny, I was just thinking the same thing about you.”

“How about a ride later on? Maybe some dinner?” Wait? He wanted to take me out?

“Like a date?” Clasping my cheek with his hand as he covered my lips with his. A sweet sensual kiss that ignited the flames of lust once more.

“Not like a date. It will be a date.” A date with Talon, I wasn’t going to say no. We were together, it made sense. We needed to get to know one another. I felt like we had only touched the surface.

“Then it’s a date.” He covered me in kisses then. Over my cheeks, my neck, my lips. I couldn’t help but giggle from the onslaught of his affection. He may be a fierce biker king, but he had a soft side.

“I can’t wait to have you on the back of my bike again.” I couldn’t wait either. That was where I belonged, right there with my King.

I went to say something, but a door downstairs slammed shut. We both froze, listening. Talon was looking down at me…waiting…trying to figure out if it was a threat or not.

“Hello. Anyone here?” I recognised that voice. It was Winnie, his mum. No wonder he groaned.

“You wait here, I’ll get rid of her.” Rolling my eyes at him. As much as I wanted to stay here all day with him, I needed to get moving.

“I need to leave soon anyway.” He didn’t look to impressed with the idea. I knew he wanted to keep me close. It’s not like I wanted to stray too far away from him, but I couldn’t cancel on Jane.

  “Talon? You up there?”

“I’ll be down in a minute.” Sighing that his morning had been interrupted. Gently caressing my cheek. The longing crystal clear in his eyes.

“Get dressed, I’ll walk you back to the clubhouse.” He rolled off the bed. Pulling on some clothes, made a quick trip to the bathroom and then he headed downstairs. Giving me a few moments on my own.

I pulled on my clothes from last night, minus my panties since they were ruined. Thankfully, Talon had sorted me some of his boxers out. Sure, they were slightly big, but it was better than nothing. Quickly making myself more presentable, I used the bathroom. I noticed the toothbrush resting on the counter with a little note with my name on it. I couldn’t help but smile.

Finishing up, I headed downstairs. I could hear him and Winnie talking about me.

“Cole won’t stop talking about her.” Wandering into the kitchen, I found Talon leaning against the counter. Winnie was by the island, her back towards me.

As soon as I stepped into the room, Talon’s eyes found me. Like a magnet, unable to stop himself.

“Good morning Hazel. I hear you made quite the impression last night.” Winnie winked at me. Oh god, what if the club thought I was trouble or not worth the bother? What if they didn’t like me?

  Then what?

“I hope it wasn’t a bad one.” She chuckled as she headed toward me, hauling me into a hug.

“Hell no, a woman after my own heart. I wish I had been there to see it. The whole club can’t stop talking about you. I think everyone is a little in love.” I smiled coyly. At least they weren’t bad mouthing me.

“You ready to go Hazel.” Talon asked, yet it didn’t sound like a question…more like an announcement. I eyed him suspiciously, why was he in such a rush all of a sudden? Was it something to do with Winnie?

“Talon we still need to talk.” Bingo, it was most definitely
something to do with Winnie. She didn’t look impressed that he was trying to avoid this ‘talk’. Her hands resting on her hips as she scowled at him.

“Later mum, promise.” He came over to her, kissing her on the top of her head. Pursing her lips, she wasn’t happy, that much was obvious.

Talon took my hand in his basically dragging me out of the house. I had to run to keep up with his long strides.

“What was that about?” I couldn’t help but be curious what Winnie wanted to talk about, but also what Talon was trying to avoid.

“Nothing.” Oh, I didn’t believe that for one second. Draping his arm around my shoulders, keeping me tucked against his side. We took a casual stroll towards the clubhouse where my car was awaiting me.

Obviously, he didn’t want to share what the hell was going on and that was fine. I wouldn’t push him on it. If he wanted to talk about it, then he would.

I just hope he realises he will have to deal with it at some point. He couldn’t avoid Winnie forever.

Talon had left me at my car. Apparently, he had a business meeting at eleven, but he would come find me afterwards. It was kind of perfect timing. It meant me and Jane could catch up without anyone listening in.

Ok, I wasn’t like I was alone. Cole and Tank were on babysitting duty today. Thankfully, they sat a few tables away, giving us some privacy. I knew they were watching all the entrances and exits, just in case.

“So, you think his going to sell?” Jane was worried. It was understandable, this was our job. If it shut down, we would need to start looking for something else.

“Maybe. I mean it would make the most sense for him to sell. His not from around here. Maybe owning a bar isn’t appealing to him.” We were still waiting to hear from Olly’s brother. Left wondering what our fates would be.

“They won’t shut down the bar, it’s a popular spot. Plus, where would our regulars go to drink? Lockdale?” Yeah, that wouldn’t go down well with them. They wouldn’t want to travel out that way just to get a drink.

“Changing the subject.” Jane started. “How did you spend your night to earn that look in your eyes?” Nearly choking on my coffee, caught off guard. I didn’t think she would pick up on anything. Fuck sake.

Should I tell her? I wanted to. I needed someone’s opinion on the whole thing.

“Well, Talon took me to a party at the clubhouse last night. A welcome home gathering for his brother.” Her jaw dropped. She hadn’t been expecting that.

“What!” Flinching from the shrill tone of her voice. It would have captured everyone’s attention. Great.

Taking a peek over at the guys, I found them both looking this way. Wondering what the hell was going? Making sure no surprise threats had appeared out of thin air.

I couldn’t help but notice the way Cole was looking at Jane. He kept taking sneaky glances in her direction, like he was drawn to her. Admiring her. I think someone might have a little thing for my best friend.

Interesting. I would be keeping an eye on this new development.

“Not so loud.” Giving Jane a look, not wanting everyone to know my business.

“You went to their clubhouse?” I nodded.

“I did.” She couldn’t believe what she was hearing. Shocked that I had strolled right into the lion’s den.

“What’s it like?” Of course, she was interested. I think anyone would be. It’s not like anyone can just walk in there. I still can’t believe Talon took me there.

“Probably just like you imagined. Filled with big scary bikers and a bunch of those club girls.” She made a face like she was chewing on a sour sweet.

“Did they give you any trouble?” I took a sip of my coffee.

“Who the bikers or the club girls?” I knew I had made no friends when it came to the club girls. They hated me and that was fine, I could live with that.

“Both.” Leaning back in my chair, ready to spill some details. “Well, most of the Kings I met were nice enough. There was one that made a comment to Talon which started a huge brawl. The club girls hate me, but I’m used to dealing with bitchy women.” Her eyes went wide.

“There was a fight?” Calling it a fight felt like an understatement.

“Yeah, but you know what I’m like, I put a stop to that crap. Courtesy of a baseball bat and some threats to their crown jewels.” She burst out laughing now.

“Only you. Now you know why I sent you over to deal with the Kings when they first came in the bar.” That was the night when things changed. Mine and Talon’s paths had merged that night. It would be a night that I would never forget, it was the beginning for us.

“Safe to say, I made a good impression.” At least they didn’t hate me. That would have made things really awkward.

“I’m sure you did, and I take it the club girls hate you because you bagged yourself the King of Kings.” I was assuming that was the reason. Talon was off the market and they were pissed off about it.

“Something like that. I’m a newcomer, come out of nowhere and stole him from them.” Necking the rest of my coffee.

“It’s not like he belonged to them anyway.” They didn’t see it like that though.

“But in their eyes, he did.” They would soon catch up if they hadn’t already. Talon was mine and I wouldn’t be sharing him with anyone.

“So, things are serious then between you two?” Jane was wondering just how far things had developed between me and Talon.

“I’m his Queen and he’s my King. So, yeah, kind of serious.” Jane went still then. Had she gone into shock? She certainly looked like it.

“He wants you to be his Queen.” I still couldn’t believe it. That someone like Talon would want someone like me.

“He does…he wants me to be a part of his family.” Something I craved. To have a home and a loving family around me. I never thought it would be possible, but Talon was offering it all to me.

“And how do you feel about that?” How did I feel about it? Terrified that something was going to go wrong, and he would change his mind.

But I was happy, he made me happy. He put a smile on my face. For the first time in my life, I felt like maybe there was a light at the end of the tunnel. Like maybe I won’t have to spend my entire life in the darkness. Tortured by my trauma. Haunted by the sick and twisted memories of my past.

  Talon gave me hope.

“I like him Jane. I never thought I would ever be able to feel like this for someone but it’s like…he brought me to life.” Her face softened. Her hand rested on top of mine.

“Then don’t let anything stop you. You deserve to be happy Hazel.” Just thinking about him put a smile on my face. “On a side note, did you stay over last night?”

“Is it that obvious?” A massive smirk on her face, showing off those impish dimples.

“I mean, you kind of have that ‘just fucked’ glow going on.” A voice stopped me before I could respond.

“Excuse me, Miss Whitaker?” Looking over my shoulder, I found one of the baristas standing there. Holding a phone in her hands.

“Yeah, is everything ok?” She held the phone out to me then.

“There’s an urgent phone call for you.” What? Urgent phone call? Who the hell would be calling me here? Frowning at her and then at the phone.

  Who knew I was here?

  Talon.

Maybe he couldn’t reach me through my mobile. Shit, what if something had happened.

I took the phone off of her, eager to hear his voice.

“Hello?” There was a long moment of silence, I wondered if anyone was there. Maybe they had hung up.

  Then I heard a breath.

Almost like a sigh of relief. Yet, it made me freeze. Goosebumps covered my body. Dread filled my stomach. This was not Talon.

No. This was the man I feared the most.

“Hello Hazel. Did you miss me?”

  It was my stepfather.

  Chapter Fifteen

“I missed you Hazel.” His voice alone ma
de the bile rise in my throat. Feeling sick to my stomach. It was like all the warmth in the room had vanished. Leaving only a chill running down my spine. Almost as if ice had been injected into my veins.

All the memories of him came flooding back. I wanted to forget all about him and the way he treated me. All the years of abuse, it was all I could see right now. On a loop inside of my head.

The way he held me down. His weight on my body. His revolting breath on my face. Putting a hand over my mouth when my crying got too loud. Not wanting the neighbours to hear my pleas for help.

The way he snarled and spat at me when I didn’t do as I was told. The beatings I took when I displeased him. The dangerous look he got in his eyes when he planned to inflict pain. He enjoyed my suffering, needing to cause more to sate his vile perversions.

  This couldn’t be real.

  No…it couldn’t be him.

It was his voice, there was no mistaking it. I would never be able to forget it. It was carved into my brain, it brought sorrow and misery with it. Nightmares swam around me, threatening to pull me under, drowning me in my fear. Terror grabbing hold of my ankles, ready to drag me down into the darkness.

“Hazel?” Jane was staring at me, wondering what the hell was going on. Puzzled as to why I wasn’t saying anything. Her voice had snapped me out of my head, bringing me back to reality.

  Finally, I found my words.

“What do you want?” Laughing at my wavering voice, my fear evident for all to hear.

His laughter was filled with malice and hatred. There was an enjoyment in his tone, he was loving this. Playing with me. Terrifying me. He was getting off on this.

“It’s been so long Hazel. You shouldn’t have run from me. You were mine and you disobeyed me. To make it worse, you kept running from me. I taught you better than that.” Pausing for a moment. “Do you remember what happens when you are bad Hazel?” I remembered. How could I not? I still wore the scars.

“It doesn’t matter though. I forgive you for going to the police. I even forgive you for running. I want you to know, it’s all going to be ok. You’ve stop running now haven’t you. I think it’s because you want me to catch you.” I felt like I was going to be sick, I could feel it rising in my throat. My whole body was shaking uncontrollably.
