A few more licks and I was falling over the edge. Screaming out his name once more. He didn’t stop until I had finished riding the waves of pleasure. Looking up at me, he licked his lips.
“Morning love.” Chewing on my lip as he moved slowly up my body. Kissing my bare skin along the way.
“Morning.” Finishing his path of scorching hot kisses when he reached my mouth.
“I think I’m going to be waking you up like that every morning.” I ran my tongue along his lips, I could taste myself. Groaning from the sensation alone.
“I like the sound of that.” I suddenly felt him against me. Rock hard and more than ready to go again this morning. Nudging at my entrance.
“Talon, I need food and a shower.” As much as I would like to stay in this bed all day, I couldn’t. Not that I had work to go to. Nor was I going to be allowed to go anywhere, not after yesterday.
“That can wait, love. I need you first.” Then so effortlessly he was inside me. Sliding in like it was second nature. I opened up to him, welcoming him in. He sheathed himself as far as he could. Reaching the hilt now, pausing for a moment.
“You’re under my skin Hazel. I can’t get you out of my head.” That made two of us, he had me feeling the exact same way.
“Fuck Talon, just like that.” Moving so smoothly, just like water. He created a wicked pace with his cock. God, I was losing my mind. His lips were on mine. I wrapped my leg around his waist, holding him against me, taking all of him.
“Hello!” We both froze then. Shit. Someone was calling from downstairs. Was that Winnie? Not again, this was becoming an unfortunate habit.
“Fuck sake.” Talon growled at the interruption.
“Talon you up there?” I bit the inside of my cheek to stop myself from laughing.
“Bit busy up here mum.” He shouted down to her. I think we were both praying she wouldn’t come up here. If she did, she would find us in a very…compromising position.
“I just wanted a quick word.” The bottom step creaked as if she was heading this way. Oh no…please no.
“You should go down there.” Shaking his head at me, he grinned with wicked thoughts.
“There is no way I’m leaving you like this. So, fucking close…I have a better way to stop her.” Talon pulled out of me then, much to my disappointment. He was right, I had been close. Upset that I had been brought so close to the edge but not allowed to fall over.
Just as I thought he was about to leave me, he slammed himself right back in. Full force. Knocking the air out of my lungs. My back bowed and I cried out from the power of his thrust. Moaning deeply as he started to stroke me just how I needed. A naughty smirk on his face as he fucked me.
I knew what he was doing. He was making it very clear to his mum what was happening between us at this very moment.
“I’ll call around later. Enjoy yourselves.” I heard her chuckling as she left. Hitting him on his arm, as he kept pounding into me, taking me to new heights.
“You really didn’t have to do that.” He could have gone down there quickly and told her to come back later. As if to apologise he moved to my breasts, teasing and licking them. Biting and sucking on my tight nipples.
“I beg to differ. No way in hell was I leaving you, love.” Rolling my eyes at him as he punished me with his powerful strokes. Bringing me right back to the edge again.
“Come for me baby, let me see you come undone.” Then just like he asked, I unravelled underneath him. He followed me, finding his own release. Pumping it deep inside my core.
“Please tell me you’re going to stay here today.” Talon didn’t want me to leave, I didn’t want to go anywhere either. All I wanted was to stay here where I knew I was safe.
“What if I have plans?” Teasing him a little.
“You sure I can’t convince you?” I could see where this was going. I reckon I was going to enjoy every single second.
“You can try.”
“Well…how does a nice, relaxing shower sound?” Trying to tempt me to stay with him. Little did he know, I had no plans to go anywhere.
“Hmmm, would I be showering alone?” His answer was instant.
“Fuck no.” No need to think about it. “I should warn you though, I plan on fucking you against the shower wall. Problem with that?” Most definitely not.
“I don’t think so.” Suddenly he hoisted me up, throwing me over his shoulder like I weighed nothing. Slapping my arse as he carried me into the bathroom.
Where Talon showed me, he was a man of his words. Pinning me against the shower wall as he fucked me relentlessly.
Over and over again.
This next week flew by. I spent it in a loved-up bubble with Talon. Lazing around his house where we just enjoyed one another. Fucking me until I couldn’t walk. I was a mess and that’s how he wanted me. Completely wrecked by his powerful loving.
Nathan hadn’t been seen; he had gone suspiciously quiet. I didn’t even care at this point. He couldn’t reach me here. I was safe with Talon.
Now, reality had come knocking.
Last night, Olly’s brother called. Informing us that he had made a decision to sell the bar. He wants us open though until a sale has gone through. I guess that was his way of still taking in some money for this place.
So, here I was. Leaving the comfort of Talon’s home and heading into work. Of course, I wasn’t on my own. Hog and Mac were with me today. Talon wanted to come with me but as always, he had club business.
I barely took a step inside the bar when I was bundled by Jane who hurdled question after question at me. Making sure I was ok and being well taken care of. Obviously, I hadn’t been updating her enough. I checked in every day but that hadn’t stopped her worrying about me.
“You look very well rested. Get lots of sleep this past week?” Jane questioned me when she knew no one could overhear her.
“I did thank you.” I knew what she was hinting at or rather what she wanted to ask me.
“Talon taking good care of you? You know, like satisfying all those…needs.” I shot her a look; she was fishing for all the dirty details.
“Jane.” She would be deterred though.
“What? I mean that man looks like he would take very good care of you. I don’t imagine not being satisfied by him. He looks like he was made for sex.” Arching an eyebrow at her.
“You seem to have thought about this in great detail.” Way too much detail by the sounds of it.
“So, what if I have? You still didn’t answer the question.” Luckily, someone needed serving, giving me the perfect escape. For now.
Eventually Jane was at my side again. Staring at me with impatient eyes.
“So, the answer to my question?” She was like a dog with a bone, extremely tenacious. There was no way she would stop until I told her what she wanted to know.
“Fine. Yes, that man is made for sex. No, his made for so much more than that.” She squealed with excitement. Mac and Hog looked our way, wondering what all the noise was about. Curious about the topic of our conversation.
“I’m trying to be discreet.” A concept Jane didn’t understand.
“You got to give me details.” Shaking my head at her. Polishing some glasses to try and keep myself busy.
“I don’t have to give you anything.” Giving me her best puppy dog eyes. I caved. “It’s just, his just…mind blowing. It’s way more than just sex with him. There’s an intimacy about it, a devotion. Then when he woke me up this morning…”
“How did he wake you up?” Heat flooded through me just thinking about him. I was shamelessly blushing, remembering what that beautiful man did to me this morning.
“Look, if I answer this question, that’s it, no more questions.” I didn’t want to share what went on between me and Talon. It was for me and him, that was it. No one else.
“Fine.” Pouting her lips that I wasn’t about to divulge in depth details to her. I quickly glanced around to make sure no one was listening.
/> “He woke me up with his head between my thighs.” She looked like she had gone into shock. Her jaw had dropped, eyes wide as she processed what I had said.
“Holy fuck. Marry him already. If that’s how his going to wake you up, he’s a keeper.” It had become one of his favourite ways to wake me up this week. One of my favourites as well. Though I wouldn’t mind returning the favour, I was hungry to wrap my mouth around his cock. Maybe I would surprise him one morning, I’m sure he wouldn’t mind.
Jane didn’t question me any further, though I could see she was thinking about what I had said. I could see a longing in her eyes. A longing for what I had? I mean she was seeing Zach, but he hadn’t made it serious. No dates still. Just hooking up with one another. Maybe I had been right, it wouldn’t be enough for Jane. She wanted more and Zach wasn’t in the same place as her. I just hope she found a man who was going to treasure her and love her the way she deserved.
Cole came to mind. There was at the very least an attraction there between them, but I wasn’t going to push it. If it was meant to happen, then it would. Not because I interfered.
Wilson appeared, smiling at me.
“Well now aren’t you a vision.” Getting him a beer as he settled into his regular seat.
“It’s good to see you too Wilson. How you been?” Taking a swig of his beer. Sighing to himself as if it was much needed.
“Much better now you guys are open again.” He nodded towards Mac and Hog. “I see the Kings are still hanging around.” Glaring at them, luckily neither of them was paying attention.
“They are helping me out.”
“Helping you out? What trouble you got yourself in to that you’d need their kind of help?” I could tell he was worried about me for multiple reasons.
“They are keeping me safe…I’m running from someone.” His face turned icy cold.
“I figured as much. Not many people come here unless they are running from something.” Staring over at the Kings and then back at me. “What’s the price?”
“No price.” He didn’t look convinced. Sceptical that they would just help me like without any kind of payment.
“They don’t do anything without getting something in return. Nothing is free. Not when it comes to the Kings of Chaos.” Wilson didn’t like the Kings for whatever reason. He didn’t trust them. How would he react when he found out me, and Talon were together? That I was his Queen? No better time to tell him. Better it came from me and no one else.
“Well, me and Talon are together.” Pausing as if he had misheard me. He had gone so still; I couldn’t even tell if he was still breathing. Fuck.
“I thought I said not to get involved with the Kings. Not go and get into bed with their pres. He eats women up and then spits them out when he gets bored. Throwing them away like they are nothing.” I wasn’t an idiot. I knew Talon had a past. Fucking a different woman every night and then never bothering with them again. That wasn’t going to happen to me. We were different, I was his Queen. Not something he said lightly. It wasn’t just sex between me and Talon, I was his other half. Talon had made that very clear.
“Trust me Wilson, it’s not like that.” His eyes were dripping with disappointment. Angry I hadn’t listened to his warnings.
“You may think that, he may have given you the entire speech but that doesn’t mean he won’t hurt you. He has a very long track record.” It wasn’t a speech. Wilson didn’t see what I did. Talon wasn’t that man anymore, not with me.
“He won’t hurt me.” Climbing to his feet, necking the rest of his beer.
“I hope for your sake, your right. That man has a tendency to hurt everyone he touches.” Turning away from me, he stomped out of here.
I knew Talon, I had seen him. The real him. He didn’t show just anyone who he really was, but he had shown me. I had seen the truth in his eyes. The promise in his words. Felt it all the way down to my soul.
Wilson had it wrong. Maybe that’s who Talon was once upon a time but not now…not with me.
“You ok?” Jane asked.
“I’m going to do some baking. Shout if you need me.” Storming into the kitchen, I needed to clear my mind.
If I didn’t distract myself then I was going to be in my head all day, worrying about what Wilson had said. Overthinking every little thing. Doubting myself. I knew I could trust Talon, but I was afraid I wouldn’t be enough. The self-doubt raging through me was a vindictive bitch.
Shaking those thoughts away, needing to lose myself for a few hours. Baking was the only option right now. One I welcomed with open arms.
I don’t know how long I had been in here. Blaring out my music allowed me to ignore everything around me. Zach hadn’t said a word to me. Able to tell by the look on my face that I didn’t want to talk about it.
I just wanted to be left alone.
Jane occasionally popped her head in, making sure we were both ok. Though I knew she was really checking on me. Wondering what Wilson had said to dampen my love drunk mood.
Even though I knew Wilson was wrong, his words still got to me. Filled me with doubt. Doubting I was worthy of Talon. That one day he would wake up and realise he could do better or maybe I wouldn’t be enough. I mean, why would a man like Talon be interested in a woman like me? I was damaged beyond repair. Why would he want that?
I wasn’t much to look at. Compared to the club girls who were always around him, I must look like a damn nun. Why would he want someone so reserved? So conservative? Barely showing any skin.
To make it worse, they would happily spread their legs for him. Basically, begging him to fuck them. I was boring compared to them. Plain…frigid. How could I keep his attention? I was stupid to think he would ever be content with little old me.
My phone started ringing. Of course, it was Talon. I ignored his call, not in the right frame of mind to talk to him. My head was a damn mess right now. I needed to rid myself of this self-doubt that was suffocating me.
I carried on piping the frosting. Eventually, it went quiet. He probably thought I was busy or something.
Then my phone pinged. Fuck. I wasn’t going to look. Ignoring it was the best option. Yet, I couldn’t help myself, I had to check.
You ok?
If I didn’t respond, then he would come here to make sure everything was ok.
All fine here.
I lied.
It was easier than talking about what was swirling through my head.
I got a meeting in Lockdale. I’ll be at the bar once I’m finished.
That brought me some time at least.
Ok.
Gripping hold of the counter. Wishing my mind would stop torturing me. I needed to stop overthinking everything. I was only making my worries and doubts ten times worse.
But I couldn’t get rid of this burning question within. It had wrapped itself around my mind. Not allowing me to stop thinking about it. Wondering about the what ifs.
Needing the answer so badly.
I shouldn’t ask him…
I needed to forget about it…
In the end, I found myself texting him, before I could really think about what I was doing.
Are you going to get bored of me? Throw me away when you’ve had enough?
As soon as I pressed send, I regretted it.
Fuck…why did I do that?
I shouldn’t have sent it; it would only make him worry. I didn’t need the answer. I already knew how he felt about me.
The phone went off again.
I’ll be at the bar in five minutes.
A chill raced through me. He was coming here. Oh god, I was fucked. He was going to think I was crazy. Why did my brain have to try to sabotage everything?
Maybe it had something to do with the fact that Talon felt too good to be true. Like at any moment, he was going to be snapped away from me. Find someone worthy of him. Someone who wasn’t me.
After all, I’m just damaged goods.
Chapter Nineteen

Are you going to get bored of me? Throw me away when you’ve had enough?
Where the hell was this coming from? Hazel had been fine when I dropped her off at the bar this morning. What had changed in the past few hours? Had someone said something to her? I would lose my shit if someone was putting doubt in my Queen’s head.
I should have been on my way to Lockdale. Dalton wanted to meet. Apparently, he had something to show me. I figured it was something to do with Torch and the Hounds.
But instead of riding over there, I was heading for the bar instead.
Hazel hadn’t answered my call. To start with, I figured she was busy. After that text though, I knew she had ignored it. I thought I had made it clear to her how important she was. That she was mine.
Obviously, she needed me to show her again. This time, I would leave no room for doubt in her pretty little head.
Roaring into the parking lot, I climbed off my bike. Heading into the bar, I couldn’t see Hazel. Where the hell was, she? She wasn’t serving behind the bar.
Hog and Mac snapped to attention. Worried why I had made an unplanned visit.
“Pres? Everything alright?” Looking at the bar, wondering where the hell she was hiding.
“Where’s Hazel?”
“She’s in the kitchen.” Not saying anything else. I went straight for the kitchen, not wasting any time. Shoving the door open, I found her instantly.
Fuck me, she was so god damn beautiful. Her stormy eyes widened when she spotted me. Those delicious lips parting slightly. I watched as her cheeks blushed red. Oh, my Queen had wicked thoughts on her mind. Good, I was about to show just how wicked I could be.
“I need to speak with Hazel. Give us a minute.” Snarling through gritted teeth. It took everything in me to not go to her, rip her clothes off that enticing body and take her right there. I may have had her this morning, multiple times but it didn’t sate the hunger I felt for her. Nothing would. I would always be greedy for more.
