She was trembling with a little bit of fear and a whole lot of lust. Her pupils were dilated. I bet she was dripping wet for me. Aching to have me buried inside of her once more.
“What was that last text about?” She turned back to her cupcakes. Trying to distract herself or maybe she was trying to remain calm. It didn’t matter, I wouldn’t be ignored.
“It’s nothing. Don’t worry about it.” Taking a step towards her. My cock was fucking rigid for her. Twitching with the need to get between those silky thighs of hers.
“It’s something, talk to me Hazel.” I could see the vein in the side of her neck pulsing so fast. Pounding away in time with her heartbeat.
“Just forget about it. Don’t you have a meeting to get to?” Avoiding eye contact with me. I knew why, she was afraid I would see too much in her eyes. Then there would be no hiding from me.
“Fuck the meeting. Why the fuck do you think I’m going to get bored and throw you away?” She didn’t answer me.
Closing the space between us, I reached out for her. Spinning her around so she could face me. Pressing her into the countertop. My arms on either side of her, keeping her there. She wasn’t running from this.
“It’s nothing, just a comment was made.” Fury tore through me. Ready to kill anyone who made her doubt what we shared.
“Who made the comment?” Shaking her head at me, not about to give them up. Knowing full well how I would react.
“That doesn’t matter Talon. Let’s be realistic here, your surrounded by women who have everything on display, only too eager to please you. They would literally do anything you asked of them. I must look like a nun compared to them. Why wouldn’t you get bored of me?” Fuck this. I pressed my body against hers, stepping into her space. Letting her feel how fucking stiff I was. It was all for her. She let out this shaky little gasp that sounded like heaven falling from her lips.
“Hazel…if I wanted a woman who wore fuck all so everyone could see her, then I would have a club girl as my old lady. If I wanted a woman who would spread her legs for anyone who asked to fuck her, I would have one of them. But I don’t want my woman to be eager to please every man who looks her way. I want her to be with me and only me.” Leaning in, my lips hovering so close to hers. I couldn’t help but trace my finger over her sweet lips.
“More importantly, you’re the only woman I want. I love the way you dress. So, fucking sexy in those painted on jeans and these blouses. I like that no one knows what’s underneath…only me. You’re mine, all fucking mine. I don’t share either Hazel. Not when it comes to you. Your all I want, love. I’ll never grow bored of you. You’re my fucking Queen, never forget that.” Staring so deeply into those icy blue eyes willing her to see that she was mine. That there would never be another, only her.
“I just…I don’t see what you see. I see damaged goods.” Fucking hell, her words cut me like a knife. I hated hearing her speak like that. Hated that’s how she saw herself. She was this beautiful ray of sunshine. A shining light that chased away the darkness within me. I wished she could see herself through my eyes.
Cupping her stunning face in my hands, breathing her in.
“You’re not damaged goods Hazel. All I see is a survivor. Your so fucking strong and you don’t even realise it. I don’t know how you’ve lived through everything you have but I’m glad you did. I’m glad you’re here with me, love. You’re a god damn warrior.” Crushing my lips against hers. Everything melted away, all her worries, all her doubts…gone.
She grabbed my shirt and pulled me closer still. I held onto the back of her neck; my other hand went to her waist. Her soft little moans filled my mouth as my tongue seeked entrance between her lips.
I hauled her up, her feet no longer touching the ground. Resting her arse on the countertop, I parted her thighs and nestled perfectly between them. Eager to be unleashed on her. Hungry to be inside of her. Kissing my way down to her neck, feeling that pulse underneath my lips. I couldn’t help but sneak my hand under her shirt. Pushing pass her bra. Finding her breast, massaging those incredible peeks. Wishing I could lay my head between them. My fingers brushing across her tight little nipples.
“Talon.” She whimpered my name. God, I wanted her. Desperate to take her right here, right now.
“Hazel, I need to be inside you.” Biting her plump ruby red lips, she nodded. Giving me the green light that she wanted that too. Her nails digging into my shoulders and she clung on for dear life.
“Yes please.” Her words were like sweet sultry music to my ears. I could feel her legs trembling already. She would be soaking wet for me. Throbbing with need to have me planted firmly inside of her.
The door swung open then, shattering this moment. Glaring over my shoulder, I found Jane stood there. Frozen to the spot. Shocked by what she was seeing. A few minutes later and she would have seen a lot more.
“Shit sorry, I didn’t realise.” I was going to be frustrated all day long now. Walking around with a serious case of blue balls.
“Its fine.” It wasn’t. It was far from fine. I should be sinking inside my woman right now. Not stood here with a raging hard on.
“If we’re ok now…” I left it open. Giving Hazel a chance to tell me if it wasn’t.
“We’re ok.” Thank fuck for that. I never wanted her to doubt what I felt for her. She was mine and there would never be another for me.
“Then, I better go to this meeting. I’ll come back after.” I whispered along her lips. “We’ll finish this later, love.”
When I came back, I was dragging her arse into the back office and fucking her senseless. I’d have her eyes rolling back in her head as she screamed out my name. Letting everyone know who she belonged to.
Kissing her once more before I moved away. If I didn’t leave now, I don’t think I ever would. Gazing down at her was sheer torture. Her cheeks flushed red. Her eyes blown wide with unbridled need. Her taut nipples peeking through her blouse. Those thighs still wide open, beckoning me to settle back between them. She was a damn sexual fantasy.
“What?” She asked, wondering what was going on in my head.
“You make it fucking hard to leave.” I heard Jane chuckle then. Shooting her a look, she just smirked at me.
“Not the only thing she’s making hard by the looks of it.” Glancing down at my crotch, she wasn’t wrong. I felt them both look down as well. Locking onto the weapon I was packing right now.
“Fuck sake.” Rearranging myself so it wasn’t so fucking obvious. I shot Hazel a look, letting her know exactly what I had planned for her. She licked her lips in anticipation. I bet that naught little mouth of hers was watering. Christ, she was in trouble when I got back.
“Until later.” She smirked at me then.
“Until later.” Stomping out of there, I heard them both chuckle as I left them to it.
Mac and Hog were just sat there grinning at me like a pair of idiots. Fucking bastards.
I was going to be a grumpy fucker until I could make it back to her. They both obviously knew why I looked so frustrated right now. Probably could tell by the look on my face or the bugle I was sporting as I walked by them.
This meeting couldn’t be over quick enough.
Riding into the Quarry where Dalton asked me to meet him. Stirring up the dust as I made my way further in. The Madmen had a little hideout tucked out of the way. Nice and private for…business.
I wasn’t alone. Cole, Gunner and Tank rode behind me.
The storage unit came into view. There were at least five bikes out front, along with a blacked-out van. Why did it feel like we were riding into a shit storm? Thankfully, we were packing. You never know and one thing this life taught me, always be prepared for the worse.
Parking up next to their bikes, I saw Dalton and his men come strolling out of the double doors. Grim looks on their faces. Fury rolling off of them in vicious waves.
“Talon.” Dalton was the first to greet me, clapping me on the back. Hunter was next
. Nodding at the others. Dalton wasn’t messing around. Carlos, Demon, Goblin, Fang and Ghost were all here. Some of his most fearsome men, known for their love of bloody violence.
“Dalton, I take you haven’t called me here for good news.” Shaking his head, confirming my suspicions. The last time I had seen him looking this grave, was when my father was murdered by one of his own. That had been the night our alliance was born. Strong and trusted allies ever since.
“Afraid not, brother. Come on.” Following his lead. My club brothers watched my back in case things went south.
Stepping into the foreboding building, a chill ran down my spine. Dimmed lights barely provided any relief from the shadows. You could feel the damp as you walked through the door. This was not the kind of place you want end up. I doubt many people make it out of here alive.
I could taste the metallic in the air. Bleach burned my nose. Making it very obvious what went down within these walls.
Bad shit.
“This way.” Taking us further into the building. Tomcat was here as well. Leaning against the wall, smoking a cigarette, trying to look unbothered by all this. He wore a black ripped baggy vest, giving me a good glimpse of the blood splattered over his skin. The feral bastard had been put to work. He may be lean compared to many of us bikers, but he was just as deadly. He enjoyed making people scream in agony. He lived for the torture. He was the definition of a Madmen. No wonder he had found a home within this club.
“Talon, long-time no see.” His bright blue eyes rippled with bloodlust. Never sated. Never contained.
“Tomcat, looks like you’ve had some fun.” Chucking his cigarette to the floor. Bringing those mean arse boots down on it.
“You don’t even know the half of it.” Sliding open the door for us, we moved into the room. I saw the poor motherfucker straight away. Tied up in a chair. Beaten black and blue. Blood pouring out of his nose. Tomcat had definitely had fun with this one. Wounds all over his body. What had this bastard done to deserve such treatment?
“What am I doing here Dalton?” If this didn’t involve my club, I didn’t want to be wrapped up in it. I had better things to be doing.
Like fucking my woman.
“We caught a stray Hound sniffing around Lockdale.” Torch hadn’t listened to my warning then. These fuckers will end up learning the hard way if they aren’t careful.
“He give you anything interesting?” Why else would he tell me to come here?
“He did.” Locking eyes with Dalton now.
“Please.” The Hound begged; it would do him no good.
“Did I tell you to speak?” He spat at him. Struggling to control the bloodthirsty animal within him. I could already see him peeking out, trying to claw his way free. Ready to tear everything around him to shreds. He was volatile. A fucking menace. I didn’t want to be around when Dalton finally caved to the dark animal within.
“Dalton?” His eyes snapped to me, biting down hard on his jaw.
“He told us why the Hounds were sniffing around Lockdale. It was like we suspected. Except they aren’t planning on expanding, they already have.” Shit.
“He gave us a location. We found a house filled with human slaves. It looked like they were using it as a handover point. Dropping them off there, then the Hounds would pick them up, taking them to the next location.” Fucking hell, human trafficking right on our doorstep. In Dalton’s home turf. No wonder he looked on the edge of madness.
“You deal with it?” A single curt nod was all I got.
“Got them out of there. Burned down the house they were using. Killed a couple of their men who were guarding the place. We wanted to make sure they got the message…not in my fucking town.” Torch would suffer for this.
“That’s not all.” He looked at the Hound. “Tell him what you told us.”
My stomach was twisted up in knots. Knowing full well where this was going.
“I don’t-” Tomcat drove his knife into the bastard’s hand.
“Talk or maybe I’ll give you some more motivation.” He started crying. Did he think that would make me pity him? Did he think we would show him mercy? Then he was a damn fool.
“If I talk…he’ll kill me.” I took a step towards him. Standing over him, glaring down this pathetic bastard.
“Look at me.” Snarling at him, wanting him to look me in my eyes. Barely able to see out of his swollen eyes, he peeked up at me.
“You don’t understand.” I grabbed his jaw, wincing from the pressure.
“I don’t think you understand. You’re not walking out of this building. How quickly you die, that’s up to you and the choices you make from here on out. Tell us everything we want to know, and I’ll make it quick. If you don’t, it will be slow…excruciating. You’ll piss yourself with fear. No matter how much you beg for mercy, you’ll find none from us. So…it’s your choice.” Sniffling as he realised the truth. This was the end and he got to choose how he went out. How painless that end could be, it was all on him now.
“They are trafficking humans through Lockdale…and drugs through Oakley. They are using a house on the outskirts to store it.” Drugs in Oakley, in my home town. They were going to die for this.
“Where?” Giving me the address, I needed. If what he was saying was true, I would burn that place to the ground.
Moving away from him. Needing to find this place and destroy that shit.
“You said, you’d end it quick.” Glancing over my shoulder at the worthless piece of shit.
“If you’re telling me the truth, I’ll send word to end it quick but if you’re lying, I’m sure Tomcat won’t mind playing with you for a bit longer.” Leaving him behind. Needing to get the hell out of here so I could deal with this. They had brought that shit into my town. Rage roared to life within me.
Stomping outside, I felt the cool evening air wash over me. I came to a stop near the edge, looking out over the Quarry. Taking a deep breath. Letting my mind formulate a plan.
“Talon.” Dalton stood next to me now. “What are you going to do?”
“I’m going to turn it all to a pile of rubble and ash.” I needed to make it clear why you don’t fuck with the Kings of Chaos.
“Careful brother, you don’t want to go pissing off the wrong people.” Did I care about angering the Wild Hounds? No.
But Dalton was right, Torch was in leagues with someone. It had to be the cartel. I didn’t need to be making enemies of them. No, I needed to be smarter than that. I needed to ruin Torch and make the cartel see what a waste of space this venture was.
“I’ll let you know what I find. Keep me informed what’s going on with you and the Madmen.”
“Same goes for you. You need us, let me know. We got your back.” We left the Madmen to it. Heading for Oakley, ready to deal with this mess. Pausing briefly to call more of the Kings to arms. I don’t know what the fuck we would face but I wanted to be ready. Just in case.
It was just as the Hound said. House on the outskirts of town, filled with cocaine. Worth millions on the streets. Hidden away in my town. Considering how much merchandise they had in there, it was poorly guarded. The Hounds were slacking. My brothers took them down without even breaking a sweat.
“You sure this is going to work?” Gunner questioned. Joining me from my perfect viewpoint. Surveying the house that was surrounded by fields, sectioned off by the forest. Giving us lots of privacy, which is what we needed right now.
“It will work.” Once we made sure there were no survivors. Tank and Cole started a fire which would engulf the house and all its contents. We were careful to make it seem like an unfortunate accident. All down to the lazy Hounds they had left behind to protect this place.
We had done everything we could to make it seem like nothing more than a massive fuck up by the Wild Hounds. That way, the cartel would go after them. Punishing them for screwing this up. Neglecting this place and destroying all their powder. The cartel were an unforgiving bunch. My hope was that they would
deal with the Hounds in the end, meaning I wouldn’t even have to lift a finger.
“If they figure out it was us, we’re done.” Nodding in agreement. We certainly would be if they knew the truth.
“Then we have to make sure what happens here, stays here.” This was a risk that could blow up in our faces but at the same time, it could deal with a huge fucking problem of ours.
I could already see the smoke billowing out of the windows. The flickering of the flames lighting up the house.
We stayed right here. Watching as it was overwhelmed by the fire. Making sure that nothing survived. The last thing I wanted was for them to salvage some of it.
Not lingering too long. I could already hear the sirens coming this way. The damage was done, no coming back from it. We had set things in motion tonight. I just hope it didn’t backfire on us.
As long as everything goes to plan, Torch and the rest of his Hounds would be finished.
Hopefully.
Chapter Twenty
Hazel
Leaning on the back of the bar, it was just past eleven now. I hadn’t heard from Talon. Would he be back soon? It was getting late. Surely his business meeting was finished, it had been hours. I just hope he was ok.
“Maybe a change would be good.” Jane was trying to think positive. If this place did get sold, she was trying to spin it into a good thing. She had been trying all day.
“We don’t even know if they will shut this place down. We just have to wait and see.” For all we know, someone will come in and keep it as a bar, seeing the potential here. Maybe they wouldn’t. There was nothing we could do about it. Just sit around and wait.
A guy came up to the bar, distracting me from all worrying about whether or not I would be out of a job. Smiling at me as I approached him. Giving me his best ‘well hello there’ eyes.
“What can I get for you?” Grinning at me as he reeled off his order.
I went to work. Trying to get him away from me, not wanting to deal with this tonight. He wasn’t here alone. He had two guys and a woman sat at his table. I could hear her high pitch laugh from over here. She was obviously flirting and enjoying herself. Good for her but she could keep the noise down a little.
