Reining Him In

“What’s all this?” Cory eyed the floor, which was covered in crumpled sheets of paper.

“Nothing.” Perry scrambled to pick up as many of the balls of paper as he could, but it was too late. Cory bent down and grabbed one.

“’Cory, I’m not sure how to say this,’” Cory read from the paper he’d straightened out. “’I’m sorry about what I said.’” He looked up, his gaze searching Perry’s face for answers.

Perry’s face heated under the scrutiny. “I, uh, was working on an apology. That was one of the earlier ones. They got better.” None of them were quite right.

“Can I read the rest of them?” Cory tried to reach for another letter, but Perry grabbed his arm and pulled him close.

They stood chest to chest. “No. How about I show you how sorry I am?”

  Cory nodded. “That could work.”

Perry put his hands on Cory’s shoulders and guided him toward the bed. Once the backs of Cory’s knees met the edge of the mattress Perry pushed him.

Cory gave him a sexy smile. “Anxious, are we?”

“Maybe.” Perry tugged at Cory’s boots and threw them to the floor. He jerked on Cory’s jeans. “Little help here?”

“Nope. This is all you. I’m gonna make you work.”

Perry rolled his eyes. Only Cory. His Cory.

He undid Cory’s buckles and unzipped his fly, then pulled his jeans and boxers off. Cory’s hard cock sprang free and immediately Perry’s mouth watered.

Perry licked up the shaft, and engulfed the head into his mouth. He moaned low in his throat. Fuck. Cory tasted good. He flicked his tongue, trying to draw in as much of Cory’s unique taste as he could.

“Fuck. Perry. Slow down. You’re going to kill me.” Cory bucked his hips and breathed heavily.

As much as Perry wanted to draw out the moment and make it last, he was spurred on by Cory’s reaction. He hummed and Cory nearly came unglued. Perry held his hips still, and continued his assault on Cory’s cock.

Within seconds Cory moaned and writhed beneath him. “Holy shit. Gonna—” He couldn’t finish the sentence before he shot cum down Perry’s throat.

Perry swallowed all he could, savoring every sweet taste of Cory. Cum flooded his mouth and dribbled down his chin.

Once he’d downed every drop he could handle, he let go of Cory’s cock and fell beside him. He wiped his chin with the back of his hand.

After a moment, Cory broke the silence. “Are blowjobs always that quick? I mean, don’t get me wrong, it was great, but I expected a little more foreplay.”

Perry chuckled and pulled Cory close. “That was the foreplay. Next one will take longer, I promise.”

“Damn well better. We’ve got some time to make up for.”

Perry sighed, feeling truly at home with Cory at his side. “Yes, yes we do.” He reached into the nightstand, grabbed a condom and lube, and dropped them on the bed. He pulled his shirt over his head and threw it to the floor, then kicked off his boots. He tossed his jeans on the floor, and they landed next to Cory’s. That was a sight he could get used to.

Perry picked up the lube and pushed Cory’s knees apart. He slathered his fingers and held Cory’s gaze as he gently caressed Cory’s hole.

“Later.” The desperation in Cory’s voice urged Perry to move faster.

He slipped in another finger, then two. He caressed Cory’s inner walls until he knew Cory was ready. Cory wiggled beneath him, and Perry’s prick hardened.

“Fuck, Perry, we’ve waited long enough. Fuck me.”

Perry ripped open the condom with his teeth and sheathed his cock. He kissed Cory, meeting Cory’s tongue with his own as he lined up to Cory’s hole.

Slowly he pressed inside until he was buried to the hilt. He stopped, letting Cory’s body adjust to the intrusion.

Cory nodded. “Move. Please God, move.”

Excitement and desire prickled at Perry’s skin as he pulled back and thrust into Cory. Once. Twice. Three times. It didn’t take long before he was ready to burst. He moved faster, and Cory kept up with him, meeting him stroke for stroke.

Cory wound his legs around Perry’s hips and locked on tight. “Holy shit. Gonna come.”

Perry couldn’t hold on anymore; he heard the passion in Cory’s voice, and he came hard. Semen slashed against Perry’s chest as Cory shot his load. Spent, Perry slipped out of Cory and collapsed beside him.

Between deep breaths, Cory said, “Is it always going to be like that?”

“If it is, then I just might die.” Perry pulled Cory closed to his side. “You know you’re going to have to get up and do chores with me in the morning.”

“I’m going to be staying here for a while. Surely I can have one day of sleeping in. There’s gotta be some perks to sleeping with the boss.”

Perry laughed and gave Cory a quick kiss. “Okay. But just this once. After tomorrow you’re going to work.”

  Six Months Later

“What are we doing here again?” Perry stepped out of the driver’s side of his truck and waited for Cory to walk around.

“We’re just looking. It’ll be fun, I promise.”

Perry eyed the auction building carefully. He’d been to a few auctions to pick up inexpensive tack, but he hadn’t been at one to buy horses before. He was surprised that Cory suggested they attend. Especially since there was so much they could be doing at the ranch.

“Just tell me again why we aren’t cleaning up after the last camp and preparing for the next round? The next group of campers is going to be at the ranch in two weeks, and I think we have a lot to do to get ready.” Their first round had gone well—extremely well, actually. But Perry was already thinking of ways they could improve, and so was Cory; they just hadn’t had a chance to discuss it yet.

“That will all wait until tomorrow. Today we’re going to shop and have some fun.”

“By buying horses we don’t need?”

Cory rolled his eyes. “I need another project horse since I sold Bug. Denny’s damn near finished, and I bet I could sell him for a pretty penny too.”

Perry narrowed his eyes. “You’d sell Denny?”

“Nah. But I can make good money on his sire fees. I’ve already gotten a few calls.”

“Really? You didn’t tell me that.”

Cory shrugged and tucked his hands into his pockets. It was a look Perry was beginning to expect from Cory when he had something to say, but he wasn’t sure how Perry would react.

Perry stopped walking and grabbed Cory so they stood face-to-face. “All right. What is it?”

  “I’ve been thinking.”

Perry raised his brow and waited for Cory to elaborate.

“Between Cash and Denny, we rake in some pretty good money with stud fees.”

A little shiver went down Perry’s spine when Cory said we. Since they started running the ranch together, business had been better than ever. True to his word, Cory made sure Perry didn’t take life too seriously. Cory had proven to have a damn good head for business.

“I think we could build a breeding facility. Get a few more broodmares…”

“Cory, we just started the camp. Can’t we focus on one project at a time?”

“I wasn’t suggesting we start building tomorrow. It’s just something I think would be great for the ranch in the next year or so.”

Perry couldn’t argue with that. He’d seen some of the figures Cory pulled in with Cash’s stud fees. He couldn’t imagine what Denny would bring in after he’d placed first at finals.

“So what are we doing here then?”

Cory smiled. The corners of his mouth turned up and a wicked gleam took over his eyes.

Christ. Perry couldn’t resist that look.

“They’ve got some mustangs here that I want to look at. After seeing Spice’s movement, I think I could train one for reining. Just for the fun of it.”

“Fun? Not money? Not fame? Not competition? Just fun?”
r />   Cory winked. “Yeah. Just for fun. And maybe a little competition too.”

Perry relented. He’d never win with Cory anyway. The man had a way of getting Perry to agree to just about anything.

“Only one, right? ’Cause we don’t have room for random project horses.”

  “Only one.”

“All right. Let’s go check them out.” Perry stomped off toward the barn. He wasn’t mad, but Cory didn’t need to know that.

Cory jogged to his side. “I knew you’d see things my way. I think I could rein you in to doing just about anything.”

Perry scoffed. But didn’t argue. He knew Cory was right.
