He was one solid block of muscle, not exaggerated like a bodybuilder, but sculpted to perfection. Michelangelo couldn’t have done a better job.

I ran my hands over them, licking his nipples with the tip of my tongue.

Now was the moment I would pull back and refuse to give him what he hungered for…

  Yeah, right. Dream on, sister.

  I’m getting mine.

I hooked my fingers in his underwear and drew them down. He was so big, I had to pull them up first.

  Mercy, mercy me.

  Yummy.

He pulled my silk negligee off over my head and gently folded it. He placed it on the back of a chair.

He took his time running his eyes over me, taking in every curve. He licked his lips and wrapped them around my tight nipples, flicking them with his tongue. Then he picked me up like I weighed nothing at all and held me in his arms.

He pulled my body against him as we kissed passionately. He lifted me up in his powerful arms and turned me toward the bed…

But he didn’t lower me. Instead, he held me horizontal and brought my pussy to his lips.

Well, this is new. Nobody’s ever given me anti-gravity cunningulus before.

  Ohhhhh…

His tongue licked and slurped at me. I placed the crook of my knees on his shoulders and let him get to work. I lay back, rejoicing in the moment as if I were floating in deep space.

He was insatiable. Waves of pure pleasure washed over me, making my toes curl. I grabbed my breasts and squeezed them between my fingers. And still, I floated above his bed.

I ran my fingers through his hair as my hips bucked, begging him to eat me harder, deeper. He slurped me dry as my body tensed and relaxed in that intoxicating moment of pure bliss.

He lay me down on the bed, his cock rock hard, promising to pleasure me unlike anything I’d ever known before. He angled his hips to slide into me.

“Wait,” I said. “Do you have protection?”

“A blaster is under my pillow,” he said.

  I laughed.

“I mean, against pregnancy,” I said. “I don’t even know if we’re compatible.”

The Titan lord opened a drawer and withdrew a pill.

“I’m not sure I should take that—” I said before he tossed the pill in his mouth and swallowed it.

“You have male pills to prevent pregnancy?” I said.

“Of course,” he said. “Now, where were we?”

I relaxed and lay back, spreading my legs wide as he inserted himself into me. Pleasure and pain mingled and deepened as I took him inch by inch. He filled me entirely. Without moving, he stimulated me. Heaven help me when he finally did—

  Ohhhhhh.

He moved slowly, carefully, and already my body was shaking. The friction was immense.

I tossed my head from one side to the other, absorbing the waves of pleasure as they rolled over me one after another.

Then he ground deep and sucked a gasp from my throat.

I was in for a wild ride.

“Yes!” I screamed, raking my nails over his back.

He heard my cry and pumped harder. I rode the wave he fashioned for me, higher and higher, so high it frightened me. Sweat blossomed across my skin and my body shook and I couldn’t help but scream again:

  “Yes!”

Just when I thought I’d reached the apex of pleasure, he really went to town and jackhammered me into oblivion, so hard and fast, I reached down to feel his pumping ass.

He grunted in my ear as he took me to new heights.

Any second now, the wave would break and the orgasms would stop, any second now the pure euphoria would smash into me…

  And still, he kept going.

Some buried animal instinct kicked in. I kissed him and wrapped my arms around him, begging for more.

The world and the universe ceased to exist and I occupied it in a singularity all of my own.

The eruption was both stimulating and painful.

  Exquisite.

Finally, he exploded inside me and filled me with a few more quaking thrusts before coming to a stop.

He kissed me on the mouth and cheek, nibbled on my ear.

  “Thank you,” he said.

“Oh no,” I said. “Thank you.”

We lay in perfect happiness beside each other, staring up at the ceiling.

Titan by name, Titan by nature.

  I started awake.

It was the middle of the night and a cool breeze brushed my leg’s bare skin. I shuffled deeper into the blankets and felt completely content tucked away there. My body itched with the dull ache of a hard exercise session.

Kal had worked his anger and frustrations out on me two more times that night.

  It was glorious.

Each time, he took me to new heights of unbridled passion, until I was speaking in tongues and made noises even I didn’t understand.

My body didn’t know what had hit it.

This was what sex was supposed to be.

  Exciting and hot as hell.

I thought about nudging him awake, maybe slipping under the covers to coax him into life… then thought better of it.

I didn’t want to be there when the rest of the household woke up. I wasn’t sure what this relationship was or what it might become, but I knew the last thing either of us needed was an audience.

I slipped out of bed and found my silk negligee hanging on the back of a chair—right where he’d left it. I looked back at his slumbering form and felt the ache he created between my legs. Each step hurt a little but it was okay because it reminded me of him and our time together.

I turned the key in the lock. I worried the click might wake him and was relieved when it hadn’t. Then I slipped the door open and shut it behind me.

I took my time heading back to my room. I had a cocky sway and a swagger in my walk. I felt like whistling.

The castle was silent, though I knew the guards might make regular patrols of the hallways. And I was still wandering around wearing the same silk negligee. Why didn’t I just grab his robe? Because I was still glowing from our long night of lovemaking.

Is that what we’d done? Made love? If we had, it was the most aggressive brand of love available on the market.

I let him pummel me into oblivion the first two times we had sex. I knew what he needed and I was more than willing to give it to him. But the third time was my time.

He watched me, enthralled, as I rode him hard. He braced my hips and angled himself so I could drive him as deep as possible.

When I finally brought him to his climax, he lay back and let me do it for him, coaxing every last drop from him.

  Delicious.

I got to my room and shut the door behind me. It was dark, so I switched the lights on to make sure the room was empty. I was still a little perturbed from discovering a Changeling in my palace room. They were slimy, slippery creatures.

I leaned inside the bathroom but found nothing there either. I flicked the lights off and got in bed. It was cool against my skin. I reached over and patted the empty half of the bed. Where he should have been.

  Right beside me.

I regretted leaving him. But until we both understood what this relationship was it was better for us to be careful. Especially since I would be gone soon.

  The communicator.

I needed to check it. The Changelings might have sent me instructions on how I was supposed to get home.

I crawled out of bed and reached under the mattress.

  I had three new messages:

MEET IN TRAINING YARD AT 2 AM

I gulped and checked the time in the tiny screen’s corner. It was 2:40.

  Shit.

  I checked the next message:

  WHERE ARE YOU?

It’d been sent at 2:10 AM.

At about that time, I was furiously grinding against Kal. But I doubted they wanted to know about that.

  The final message said:

&nb
sp; COME BY 3 AM OR DEAL IS OFF

Now my heart raced. I grabbed the dressing gown and put it on. I moved to the window and peered down at the wide-open expanse of the miniature training yard. I couldn’t see anyone down there. Maybe they were inside the main building?

  I quickly typed a message:

  WAS ASLEEP - COMING NOW

The Changelings weren’t the most understanding of creatures. I wondered how I was going to be punished for being late to one of their meetings. I ground my teeth and edged back out the door.

The castle was silent as I crept through the empty halls and standing suits of armor. I doubted it would matter how long I lived in this castle. There would always be a new hallway left to explore, new treasures, and items unique to the Titan culture to uncover. I made a mental note of my location so I could come back here again.

If I ever got to return.

I’d completed my mission. I expected to head home soon.

That made me both happy and sad.

When I reached each corner, I paused and listened for the tap of nearby feet and rattling armor of the guards. The smart thing to have done was ask Kal how the guards conducted their patrols, then I wouldn’t have to be constantly on alert.

I’d have to remember for the next time I was recruited by an alien race to spy on their recently vanquished foe. Somehow, I doubted I would get to sharpen my spying skills in the future.

There were moons in the night sky but they were dim. Most of the light came from the host planet. Big and bright, it was far brighter than Earth’s moon. It flooded the world with red light. It looked eerie and more than a little alien to my eyes.

The training yard seemed like a strange place to meet until I realized it was probably the closest they could get to the castle without setting off the guards that patrolled along the walls.

I reached the outer courtyard where the training yard was housed. The guards paused in their march along each wall. They were not difficult to make out. Their touches flashed as they turned around and headed back the way they had come. All I had to do was wait for them to make another turn and I could dash toward the building in the center.

I took a deep breath and waited. The moment their torches swung around, I stole across the open ground. The dirt was hard-packed by thousands of footsteps. My slipper made a soft noise but even that was louder than I’d like.

I reached the building. It was not made of stone like the rest of the castle but fallen timbers. I pressed my back to it just as the guards made another about-face.

I felt for the door and gently eased it open—just enough for me to squeeze through. I shut it so gently I might have been handling a newborn.

If they caught me, what excuse was I going to come out with?

  That I was sleepwalking?

Yes, that sounded good. I would do my best to look as sheepish as I could so they wouldn’t doubt I was being sincere. Then I would tell them about all the embarrassing things that happened to me over the years due to my affliction.

Of course, it could easily backfire. What if Kal grew worried—which I knew he would—and insist on setting up a guard outside my room in case I began wandering off again?

Or maybe he would tie me to the bed…

  Focus, girl!

I surveyed the training yard. Blunt weapons and practice blaster pistols adorned the walls. There were even ancient wooden weapons at the opposite end. I’d seen too many horror movies to feel comfortable in a secluded place like this.

“Hello?” I said. “Is anyone there?”

The Changelings could come out at any moment and scare me to death. So, I placed a hand preemptively over my mouth to block the “Eek!” that would explode from my lips.

There was little else I could say that wouldn’t give away the reason I was there—just in case the Changelings had left and they’d been caught or replaced by guards.

“About time you showed up,” a craggy voice said.

I spun around and caught the “Eek!” in my hands.

Not George Clooney melted from the shadows. I still had little idea of what these creatures were capable of. Could they only morph into man-shaped beings? Or could they adopt the guise of other shapes and objects too?

“You were meant to be here an hour ago,” Not George Clooney said.

  “I’m sorry,” I said. “I was asleep.”

  He eyed me uncertainly.

“I turned the buzzer off so it wouldn’t get anyone’s attention,” I said. “A cleaner or one of the guards. If they found it…”

The game would be up. Then what would happen to me? For the first time since I’d arrived on the moon, the thought of getting caught terrified me more than anything these creatures could do to me. They might rip me to pieces or lock me in a pod and blast me into space, but at least my heart wouldn’t be broken.

That’s when I realized how close I now was with Kal. When death was less scary than the thought of disappointing him, I knew I must have deeper feelings for him than I realized.

I regretted coming out to the training yard, regretted beginning this whole mission in the first place.

Except, that wasn’t true, was it? I didn’t regret meeting Kal. He was the best thing that’d happened to me since… well, since forever.

Images of the night we spent together flashed through my mind and a hot flush tore across my face and cheeks. I was glad it was dark in there and the red tint of the giant host planet helped mask me.

“No matter,” Not George Clooney said. “I’ve received word from command you have achieved part of your mission.”

  I nodded.

“Yes,” I said. “I inserted the device into his computer. You know, it would have been useful to know what a computer looks like down here. I almost didn’t make the deadline.”

“It is a regular computer,” Not George Clooney said, waving a hand dismissively, “the same as any other unit on a multitude of planets and moons.”

“Not on my planet or moon,” I said indignantly. “And I was the one that had to plant the damn thing.”

To them, it might be normal. To me, it’d been a shock.

“When will you take me and my friends home?” I said.

I rode the giddy excitement like a wild stallion. Go home. I couldn’t wait.

“Not yet,” Not George Clooney said. “We’ve hit a snag.”

“A snag? I don’t care about any of your snags,” I said, my voice growing louder and more shrill.

The Changeling glanced at the walls and hissed for me to be quiet.

“You told me I could go home once I did this mission,” I said. “I’ve done it. Now I want what you promised me. To go home.”

The creature placed a hand over my mouth.

“Sh!” he hissed. “Do you want to bring them down on us?”

He glanced furtively at the front and back doors. It was good to see I wasn’t the only one on edge.

“Your mission was to discover where the lord’s loyalties lie,” he said. “The best way of doing that was to plant the device on his computer system so we could monitor his electronic communications. But we found nothing.”

Even I could have told them that. The Titans were not blindly obsessed with technology. They still took walks in nature to strengthen their bond with their surroundings. It showed just how little the Changelings knew about the race they had just conquered.

“So maybe that proves he’s loyal to you,” I said.

Not George Clooney shook his head.

“Lack of evidence one way or the other does not prove the opposite is true,” he said. “You will return to your original mission. You will get closer to him and learn his allegiance. Then, once he makes a decision that proves his disloyalty, you will report to us.”

“I did what you asked,” I said. “If you weren’t sure what you would find on his computer system, you should have been more careful. I want to go home and I want to go right now.”

“You aren’t going anywhere. You will
stay here and discover his allegiance—the way you were tasked to begin with.”

‘Get closer to him’ conjured a headful of images I didn’t need to distract me right then. I couldn’t get any closer to him without climbing into his skin.

The thought of betraying him brought a nasty taste in my mouth. I wanted to go home but I didn’t want to condemn him. I’d gotten closer to him over the past few days as I had with any man back on Earth.

“I can’t do it,” I said, knowing what failure would mean for me and my friends.

“What was that?” Not George Clooney said.

“I can’t learn what you’re asking for. It’s too deep, too personal. He won’t tell me his allegiance.”

But I already knew, didn’t I? Even if he hadn’t said it in so many words…

His heart was good and pure and he would never side with these creatures. He only agreed with the surrender of his people to save their lives. He was willing to put up with their resentment because it meant they were unharmed.

“Has he said or done anything that makes you question his loyalty to his new ruler?” Not George Clooney said.

It should have been an easy question to answer. It was right there, on the tip of my tongue.

But I couldn’t say it, couldn’t admit the truth. I hated myself for that. It wouldn’t just be me that got punished. It would be my friends too.

“I want proof my friends are safe,” I said. When you couldn’t defend yourself, you had to go on the attack.

  “What?” Not George Clooney rasped.

“My friends,” I said. “I want to know they’re safe in their pods before I tell you anything I might have learned.”

Not George Clooney was taken aback. He growled.

“You will tell us what you’ve learned or you will suffer the consequences!” he said, and his hands turned into razor-sharp claws that belonged to an alien creature I had never seen before.

A spike of confidence swelled in my chest and I folded my arms.

“You won’t hurt me,” I said. “If you do, my cover will be blown and I’ll never get closer to the lord.”

Spittle coalesced at the corner of the creature’s mouth.

“You’re making a big mistake, female,” he growled. “The Changelings will not suffer being made to look foolish.”
