I spent a year dreaming about my smoking hot boss, wanting him so much it made my heart ache and my body burn with desire. But he didn't even notice I existed and my internship under Mr Black ended not with a bang but with a whimper.
Fast forward a year and I've just found out he's advertising for a personal assistant. I've dreamed of this moment for so long, I can hardly keep still. I'll do whatever it takes to get the job, nothing can stop me. But when I find out exactly what he expects of his new hire, I'm shocked to the core by the conditions laid down in the contract. Now I have to make a decision. Walk away from the job and the man of my dreams or let him take control of me, body and soul.

Prologue
“Get your ass in here.”
I leapt to my feet. I’d learned to respond to his call instantly. I was across the office and into his room before anyone else had even looked my way. They were still reacting as I closed the door behind me.
“Yes, Sir.”
“Close the blinds.”
“Yes, Sir.”
I turned away from him, sliding the blinds down over his windows. By the time I turned back he was sat behind his desk, his arms folded, glaring at me impatiently. “Sit down.”
“Have I done something wrong, Sir?”
“Are you aware that your nipples are visible through that blouse of yours?”
I didn’t know what to say. I looked down at my top, my cheeks burning. He was right. The fabric was too thin. But then I’d known that when I dressed that morning.
“I had no idea, Sir,” I said quietly, looking down at the floor.
“I don’t believe you. I think you deliberately chose to dress in such a way to try and provoke me.”
“I didn’t,” I said, my voice louder than before. “I wouldn’t do such a thing.”
“Then you lack awareness. Is that it? You must know that to flaunt your body in such a way is unbecoming for a member of my staff.”
“As I recall, there was no dress code in my contract.”
“Lies upon lies. I swear it’s as if you like being disciplined.”
“I don’t, Sir. I am doing my best here but I don’t see how my choice of clothing warrants…”
“Enough.” He held up a hand, silencing me in an instant. “You will take that shirt off this instant and replace it with something more suitable. Is that clear?”
“Take it off? Here? In front of you?”
He held out a white blouse wrapped in cellophane. “You will take it off now or you will clear your desk and leave the building. Is that understood?”
I reached down, feeling his eyes on me as my shaking fingers undid the top button of my blouse. As the two halves came apart, he smiled for the first time. “Good girl.”
I undid the rest of the buttons, my head woozy with the stress of my breasts coming into view, the nipples rock hard, giving away the desire that was building inside me.
“Now bend over the desk,” Mr Black said, standing up and walking over to his cabinet in the corner. “And do not make a sound.”
I bent over, my boobs squashed against the dark wood as he stood behind me. I felt his hands tugging up the back of my skirt and I gasped. It was all so different to a year ago when I’d been accepted as an intern at Black and White Inc.
Chapter One
From the moment I saw him, I wanted him. Nothing like an impossible dream. He had a private office but it had glass walls and a glass door. He kept his blinds open most of the time, only closing them when one of the senior staff went in to see him. The rest of the time, he sat with them open, not that he ever looked up. His eyes were fixed on his computer most of the day. I lived for his phone calls. When his phone rang, he would stand up, pacing the office and giving me the perfect chance to look at that body of his.
It wasn’t as if I had much else to do. I had expected an internship at Black and White Inc. to be a whirlwind of business meetings and networking. The only network I’d been involved with was Facebook. I spent most of my time on it, uploading corporate messages that were supposed to be uplifting and inspiring to the clients and potential clients of the company. I didn’t even get to write them myself. My job consisted of copying and pasting from the corporate approved messages and timing their upload. It wasn’t the most exciting work. I didn’t mind too much though. Having an internship here would look great on my university applications and if I had to embellish my role when I interviewed, so be it.
On my first day, I was walked upstairs by Donna, the office manager. She introduced me to my workstation and took my through the role before falling silent. I looked up to see her eyes were fixed on the far side of the room. Following her gaze, I saw him for the first time. A man in a jet black suit was talking on the phone as he marched across the floor. He looked incredible. It was only after he’d entered his private room that I realised every woman in the office had been watching him. “Who’s that?” I asked.
“Huh?” Donna replied, as if she was waking up. “Oh, that’s Mr Black.”
“As in Black and White Black?”
“Yep,” she said with a sigh. “Dominic Black, CEO of this place. Don’t think of talking to him. He’ll yell you into next week.”
“Not a nice guy then?”
“Nice to look at, not so much to talk to. Anyway, this is how you log on. Click that box there.”
I glanced at him one more time before returning to the computer. He was sat behind his desk, shouting down the phone, looking furious. His brow was furrowed and I found myself picturing him next to me, that anger there because I’d been naughty, I’d done something wrong.
That had been my go to fantasy for as long as I could remember. Disciplined by a firm hand, preferably draped over the knee of a furious man, taught a lesson that soon descended into something much naughtier.
I shouldn’t have been thinking about things like that, not in the middle of an office surrounded by other people. I couldn’t help it though, my mind was filled with thoughts that made my ass tingle as if it was being spanked at that moment. I shuffled on my chair, trying to regain control of myself. I had to work hard not to look across at Mr Black too often. Every time I did, I pictured myself across his desk, bent over, my skirt around my waist, his hand spanking me while the office watched silently through the window, telling me this was how he dealt with bad behaviour in the workplace.
I felt a tap on my shoulder, bringing me out of my daydream. Donna was looking at me with a smile on her lips. “We’ve all thought about it,” she said, leaning closer and lowering her voice. “But he’s not the office romance type. Don’t waste your time.”
“He’s out of my league anyway,” I replied with a wistful smile.
For two months I waited for him to notice me. I knew I’d never get to
date him but I could at least try and get his attention. There was no harm in that. I walked past those glass windows of his as many times as I could, lingering in the hope of him looking up and seeing me, deluding myself that he’d want to get to know me once he saw me. He never looked up, never spoke to me, not until the last week of my internship.
I’d spent the day in the archive room, moving files across to a new set of racking. There was no clock in there and I wasn’t wearing a watch. Donna had told me she would come and collect me before the end of the day but she must have forgotten. I lost all track of time shifting the seemingly endless manila files. I was humming quietly to myself, wondering when Donna would come to get me but when the door opened, it wasn’t her who stood there but Mr Black.
He glanced at me in surprise. “I wasn’t expecting anyone to still be here.” His voice was deep, a hint of impatience to it. “You know everyone else went home an hour ago.”
“They did?” I asked, sliding a file into place, hardly able to believe he was actually talking to me. “Oh.” I lapsed into silence. “I’m the intern.” Stupid thing to say but I couldn’t think of anything else.
“I know who you are. Alana Grant.”
“That…that’s right.”
“How have you found it here?” he asked, taking a step towards me. “Pass me the Brebecker file, would you?”
I turned and reached for the file and when I turned back he was standing right in front of me, his face inches from mine. I held out the file, cursing my trembling fingers. He was close enough to kiss me. The atmosphere seemed electric in the room. There was a tiny smile on his lips, as if I was amusing him. Then he snatched the file from my hand, turned, and walked out. At the last moment, he glanced back over his shoulder. “I like your dedication to the job, staying so late, I won’t forget it.”
It was the last time I saw him. He was away for the rest of the week and I ended my internship with a bitter sense of disappointment that I didn’t even get to say goodbye.
Chapter Two
In the end, I didn’t go to university after the internship. A job came up at an office in Leeds and I took it, putting my plans on hold to earn enough money to move out of my parents’ house. I had calculated that the amount the job paid meant I could work for two years and play that off against the cost of tuition. My parents tried their best to get me to reconsider but I’d made my mind up. I took the interview and I got the position in no small part because of the internship I’d taken with Black and White. “That’s a prestigious place,” my interviewer said. “How did you find it?”
I didn’t tell the truth that it was a place where my sexual frustration grew overwhelming, where I developed a fantasy that never left me, one involving me, Mr Black, and being unable to sit down the next day because of the spanking he’d given me. “I learned a lot,” was my reply. “I was given sole charge of social media for the entire department.” A little embellishment but it got me the job.
I had been in that post almost a year when I saw the job ad for Black and White. It was luck really that I even spotted it. Someone in the office had left the newspaper open on their desk near the door and I was passing it when I caught a glimpse of the Black and White logo. Stopping in my tracks, I looked down.
Wanted – Personal Assistant for CEO. Must be willing to learn on the go and be up for anything. Going above and beyond will be expected everyday of the week. No time off for good behaviour.
The starting pay was thirty thousand a year. It was five more than I was earning at the time. But better than that, I’d be working for Mr Black again. I’d be working closely with him. By his side. I had to get that job.
I rang the recruiting number on my lunch break. “We’ll send you out a copy of the contract,” the bored sounding man said on the other end of the line. “Don’t apply unless you are willing to meet the conditions. We’ve had enough timewasters already.”
“Understood.”
The contract was waiting in my email inbox when I got back to the office. I opened the attachment and ran my eyes down it, becoming increasingly incredulous. This couldn’t be legal. I was to wear what he told me to wear, work the hours he told me, be available night and day when needed, and expect to be disciplined for misbehaviour in the strongest possible manner. The wording was obtuse but the meaning was clear. He would control me completely. The daydream I’d had for so long floated upwards into my mind, him spanking me over his desk.
The reality would be different of course. No one would risk being sued for sexual harassment, especially not the head of such an enormous company. But a girl could dream, right?
I filled in the application form that had come with the contract and sent it back that evening, wondering how long it would take for them to get in touch. I tried not to think about how I’d feel if I didn’t hear anything back.
The next morning was a Saturday and I was in my room. I still lived with my parents at that time as I’ve said, my finances not stretching to having my own place, not without digging into my savings. Mum and Dad were downstairs as I lay in bed, I could hear them talking in the dining room, the smell of frying bacon wafting up towards me.
An email notification popped up on my laptop screen, interrupting the entirely professional video I was watching with the sound off, my hand buried underneath my blankets.
I was about to close the notification when I saw that it was from Dominic Black himself.
You will attend an interview at my office today at noon. Wear white.
Noon. That was only three hours away. I jumped out of bed, running across to my wardrobe. I had to look good. But white? What did I own that was white? Did I have time to go shopping? Did he mean all white?
I found a blouse that would do, it was from a year ago and I’d grown across the chest since buying it but not enough to warrant throwing it out. I had a lacy bra. That was white too, at least it meant it wouldn’t be visible through the blouse. The only white skirt I had was a tennis one. Would that be too short? In the end I decided to go for it, nothing ventured nothing gained. Maybe he’d see my legs and fall immediately head over heels in love with me? The only thing I didn’t have in white was panties so I had to settle for the closest I could get which was a faded pink cotton thong.
I set about doing my hair and then my make up, heading downstairs once I was finished to tell my parents where I was going. “I’ve got an interview,” I said, finishing the last of the coffee my mother had poured out for me.
“And that’s what you’re wearing?” she asked, raising her eyebrows. My father didn’t look up from his paper.
“What’s wrong with it?” I replied, tugging at the skirt under the table.
“It’s not exactly professional.”
“It’s what I was told to wear,” I said. “Now I’ve got to get going if I’m going to make it on time.”
I caught the bus into the city centre but just as I got off the heavens opened and it began to throw it down. Cursing my luck, I ran into the nearest shop, looking around me. It was a newsagents and there was a rack of umbrellas by the counter. I bought one and headed out, I would be late if I left it any longer. I drew several glances on the way and I found out why when I arrived. I got into the Black and White building, bypassing reception and heading into the ladies toilets. Standing in front of the mirrors to fix my makeup I looked at myself and cringed. The rain had made the blouse stick to my skin. Worse than that, it had turned almost completely see through. My bra was visible as were my nipples. My face turned red at the sight, thinking of how many people had seen me since the rain had begun.
I glanced at the time, ten to twelve, the traffic had slowed the bus and I still needed to find the right floor. There wasn’t much I could do about how I looked. I could either give up and go home or brazen it out.
Chapter Three
I grabbed handfuls of paper towels, doing my best to dry my blouse, shivering as I did so, the air conditioning not helping my body temperature. A minute later, I was
back out, not looking anyone in the eye as I walked over to reception, my arms folded across my chest. “Can I help you?” the woman asked from behind her desk.
“Hi, I’m here to interview.”
“Your name?”
“Alana Grant.”
“Seventh floor. Mr Black is expecting you.”
I was surprised by how busy the place was for a weekend but it turned out most of them were lingering on the ground floor. When I stepped out of the lift on the seventh, there was no one in sight. I could hear a man’s voice and I headed towards it, memories coming back of the last time I was here. The computers had been updated but the desks were laid out the same as if I’d only been gone overnight. Mr Black was in his office on the phone. He looked up when he saw me, waving a hand for me to enter. I walked in and waited.
“You don’t want that,” he was snapping down the phone. “Because if I have to do that, I’ll take your department from you. If you think I’m kidding, just try me. Now do your job!” He slammed the receiver down before looking up at me. “Bloody incompetent fool,” he said. “Not you. Sit.”
I sat down, crossing my legs at the ankles and waiting. His eyes ran down to my chest for the briefest of moments before fixing me in that stare of his, the one I remembered from the filing room. “Glad you could make it,” he said. “What did you think of the contract?”
“I thought it was acceptable.”
“What about your interview clothing? Do you think that’s acceptable?”
“I wore white, like you asked.” I cursed myself for the whine in my voice.
“You are wearing a see through shirt that is so small there is a gaping hole between the second and third button. You are wearing a skirt that reveals far more than a modern professional should and worst of all, you are not wearing all white.”
