  ABOUT THIS BOOK AND ITS AUTHOR

  "Dreams can become a reality."

  For the author, writing and publishing this book is a dream come true. He hopes you, the reader, enjoyed this story as much as he did writing it. He could use the expression that it was a "Labor of Love", but it wasn't — labor, that is. He simply loved losing himself, and discovering for himself, as well as telling you, what Liam discovered about himself and where it led him.

  Every good-guy character’s given (first) name in this story, and/or their surname (last), is significant; the first names are mostly middle names of family members (some, actual first or modified firsts), or first names of kids he grew up with, and last names are actual family names or the names of friends (one or two are simply fictitious). Their personalities and physical traits, if any are given, are fairly true to life. Of course, this is a work of fiction, so allow for some omissions or exaggerations. But overall, if you think you see yourself in this story, the author will tell you he was writing about someone else.

  Places described (except for St. Mary’s High School, which doesn’t exist, as the “city” of St. Mary’s is now a national historic landmark within a small unincorporated community), and the family histories assigned to the characters, are real, and as factual as the author can tell from research.

  Explanations and/or accounts of bilocation, multiple dimensions, time travel, prescience — all the things Liam looked up on the web — really are on the internet. Look them up. Fascinating stuff. Really.

  The author was born in Washington, D.C. He attended Washington-Lee High School in Arlington, Virginia, and rowed bow oar on the Varsity Lightweight Eight. While attending Virginia Tech, he probably spent more time spelunking in the caves and caverns that catacomb southwestern Virginia with his dorm mates then he did attending classes (as his grades there are evident). He's a retired federal civil servant.

  His Grandmother on occasion did have the gift of foresight. She, along with two sons, worked for the CIA.

  His grandfather’s family founded and farmed the Bushwood Estate in St. Mary’s county, Maryland, from the 1600's, and was where his grandfather lived until the early-1900's'', when he moved to Washington D.C., and then to Arlington, Virginia, in the '30's.

  The author now resides in California with his wife, sons and grandchildren.

  Finally...What happens to Liam, and how will Connor help him? Liam's Grandson? From the future? The author doesn’t know. Well, maybe he does. But that’s another vision for another day. But you can find out for yourself, if you want, while you wait for him to decide if he'll tell you how his goes. It’s easy to do. Get comfortable, close your eyes, and envision it!
