“I will see if you keep your word.” Veronica tried to believe her Demon, but as usual, doubt settled in her soul. Milano was able to blow hot and cold. “Sometimes I feel; I don’t act like a self-respecting woman. I never refuse you so that I satisfy all your depraved needs.” She continued.

“Bella, you’re going to be my wife, and you will have the right to do anything in my office.” Milano urged her, trying to kiss his Amazon. “Today I ‘signed’ a contract with you to ban the use of my dick by any other woman.” Milano firmly replied looking directly into her eyes as Veronica caressed his cheeks with her little thumbs, saying, “Okay.”

Speedily fixing themselves, Milano and Veronica was ready to return to their responsibilities. Quickly kissing Milano, Veronica had intended to go home, but he pulled her back again, responding to the kiss even stronger than hers.

“Let go of me, Demon!” Veronica commanded him to cease the sex games, and finally take up his duty at work.

“I’m excited again. You act on my body magically. I don’t fucking understand it!” Milano barked out the evident truth; Veronica was so dear to him. He admitted that her neck was created for constant caressing—only by him and his lips.

But his thoughts were interrupted by Veronica. “If you don’t understand—don’t. It is even better, Milano. Hand me the belt. I left it on your desk.” She replied, thinking that she would win her primary victory soon.

“Why do you need it?” Milano tittered. “I think I need the belt… For example, to carry out an educational practice with you from time to time.”

“Give me that, imp.” Veronica increased her voice, seeing that Milano didn’t want to obey her. Actually, it was not in his nature.

“Just don’t hurt yourself.” Milano pronounced with a smirk, giving her the belt.

“Screw you, Milano!” Veronica pushed him away, putting the strap in her small purse and checking her makeup in the mirror.

Milano smiled in his favorite manner like a Cheshire cat. “It is not necessary to push me to the feat of fucking you on the table, Veronica. The words ‘screw you,’ I see it that way only.”

Veronica grumbled something to herself and quickly went to the door. She decided that it’s high time she left for home to finish her big sketches. Milano, in turn, was delighted that lunch with Veronica changed the mood of the day. Now he can carry on with his work without thinking about his sexual needs.

After stepping out into the hall and closing the door behind her, Veronica saw Susan. The secretary was already distracted from her work, studying Veronica’s image with an evil glance.

“Your name is Veronica, right? Now then, do you know that Signor Veneziani doesn’t stop at one thing? I’m afraid to disappoint you darling, but Milano will never be with you. He is the eternal wind.” Susan didn’t speak to Veronica in a sympathetic tone. She wished to annoy her and spoil her day.

“Susan or whatever your name is,” Veronica said defensively, not wanting to give up like the secretary hoped. “I think you’ll be amazed to find out that Milano and I are getting married soon.” She decided to omit the detail about the baby; she didn’t want to incur more vengeance from Milano’s secretary.

“You’re stupid!” Susan remarked acidly. “Milano likes to sleep with everyone and even if it stops for someone, then it would be me. I’m loyal to him and have known him for so long.”

“The reason is, Susan,” Veronica said leaning forward, “that you and all his other women didn’t see the other side of Signor Veneziani. And if you ever behold it, then I am afraid that all your hope for happiness with him will be destroyed. You haven’t seen his demonic side, and it’s not as attractive as you think. Try to tame Milano Veneziani, although I don’t believe that it will be possible for you.”

With these words, Veronica pressed the button to the elevator and entered inside; her head held high. She was looking at the secretary with victory, and Susan opened her mouth, not having an idea of how to respond to Veronica’s words. Veronica brought her ego down with her statement, not allowing Susan to utter even a word. Perhaps Susan realized that Veronica was one of her most difficult opponents.

Reaching the ground floor, Veronica was pleasantly surprised that the faithful bodyguard and servant of the Veneziani family―Pietro, was still waiting for her at the building. He gallantly offered her his arm and guided her inside, then started the engine of the beloved car belonging to his boss, the Chevrolet Camaro.

After talking with Veronica, Susan still couldn’t believe what was happening. She thought that Milano’s new mistress was nuts, spreading rumors about his cruelty. While on the other hand, Veronica’s words had forced Susan to think about it. Is it true that Milano is a horrible sadist and beats women? Only that could explain his demonic side and his explosive nature. Although, why does he want to marry this Veronica? Why the hurry? Susan pondered about her boss, and immediately decided to find out.

Adjusting her pantsuit, she looked at a small, folding mirror to correct her messed-up makeup. Susan was ready to conquer Milano Veneziani right now.

Gently knocking on the door to his office, Susan patiently awaited the response from her boss. She didn’t hear a single sound from his office, so that she opened the door and went inside. Not seeing her boss at the desk, she slowly walked to the window, looking at The Eternal City. She sighed pondering about something else, but then her elbow was grabbed by the strong man’s hand, turning her sharply.

“What are you doing here, damn it?!”

Susan jumped at the sharp tone of Milano Veneziani; he did not wish to have guests.

“Sir, I wanted to ask you about the agreement with the Spaniards.” She coughed, showing her immense interest in the matter. Although her thoughts were directed now to a different issue. She decided to use her seductive method.

Susan reached for her boss’s lips thinking that she would kiss him, but nothing came of it. Milano abruptly moved away from her, sternly studying her face.

“I can’t figure out what that was about, Susan. Could it be seduction?” He asked the secretary without letting her touch his cheek.

“Don’t you remember, boss, how close we were?” Susan reminded him, endeavoring to reach her hand into his pants and show him what he always wanted―crazy sex without limits.

But Milano didn’t let her do it.

“Let bygones be bygones.” He admitted. “Times have changed.”

“But I have not changed, Signor Veneziani. I want to experience the power of your body once more as you lie on me and I squirm under you. Take from me what you always take, and moan after your orgasm.” Susan cooed, moving closer to her boss and not giving him a place to step back.

In his head, Milano was facing a conflict―to send his secretary to Hell or punish her by reducing her wages.

Leveraging on the seductress in her, Susan waded into the battle with Milano. She began to unbutton her blouse, never losing her eager eyes’ contact off her sexy boss. The old Milano wouldn’t have missed his chance in mounting Susan right on the desk in his office. But the new Milano, thanks to Veronica, was quite different. He promised his goddess not to stare at any women. He promised not to hurt her.

“You don’t want me, Milano?” The secretary playfully pouted, thinking that this old unbuttoned blouse would be able to seduce her boss. But today, it was not to be.

In Milano’s eyes was a steely resolve.

  “Susan.” He gritted his teeth.

“Don’t worry, boss. Your Veronica will never know. Moreover, she is not your wife; only your mistress.” Susan tried to throw her arms around her boss’s neck and kiss him, but he moved away from her.

“She will be my wife.” Milano deliberately emphasized the word ‘will,’ deciding to get Susan out of the picture. For him, it was better to enjoy his secretary’s hatred than her desire. “That’s why I have to be faithful to her.” He continued.

“And how?” Susan giggled, attacking Milano’s manhood w
ith a stroke. She noticed that it was firm.

What man could withstand such seduction in his office? Only a man with great willpower; and Milano had it.

He harshly grabbed his secretary by her wrist and led the girl to the exit of his room.

“Darling, but you desire it. You couldn’t forget me so quickly.” Susan almost shouted into his face.

“To hell with my cock! I am the one commanding him, not the other way around. Is that clear to you?” Milano pushed his secretary, who was still ready to lie down under him, out of the office. She was not willing to listen to his requests and appeals.

“She doesn’t deserve you; that whore Veronica!” Susan’s eyes burned with malice.

“Not for you to decide who’s worthy and who is not. You’re nobody here! Moreover, Nike is not a whore.”

“Wow! Nike? A new nickname for your underlay?”

“Shut up!” Milano yelled at her, stopping himself from the rush to hit Susan. “One more word and I’ll throw you out on the street. Don’t test my patience, Susan.”

Milano almost closed the door in her face when Susan reminded her boss the main thing. She had perfect dependability in his favorite business―sex.

“Mr. Veneziani. When you’ve played enough, come and see me. I am aware of what you need. Veronica wouldn’t satisfy you like I can.” Susan said in a low voice with some special implications.

“Get back to work!” Milano snarled, slamming the door and disappearing into his office.

“Well, Milano Veneziani. We will see who wins this tug of war―me or Veronica!” The secretary hissed, like a snake. She was ready for a new battle for her ex-lover.

Susan has been my headache, in addition to Bianca. Milano shook his head discontentedly in response to his heavy thoughts. He sat behind his desk, distracted by the new projects.

Just don’t lose your head, buddy! Be yourself! He advised himself, sinking into his workload.

  ~ CHAPTER 3 ~

  Truth or Lie?

Having finished his structure projects, Milano turned off his tablet. He lightly pinched the back of his head to relieve himself from hours of fatigue. He stretched in his armchair and yawned widely. It was ten in the evening by the wall clock. Milano didn’t notice how quickly time flew on a working day and he had a lot of unfinished tasks. But he knew that he would do them in time. His profession was never a burden to him; Milano loved to create architectural drafts.

Taking his work laptop with him, Milano strode quickly out of the office. Heading to the elevator, he’d decided to press the call button, but then fragile, feminine hands cupped his shoulders.

“As always, you look so great; even after spending eight hours without a break in your office.” Susan murmured; her palms slipped to the back of Milano. They circled the layers of Milano’s muscles, slowly heading to his strong buttocks.

“You are a very handsome man, Milano. I have always wanted to fuck you on my lacquered table!” She shared her fantasies, not feeling awkward in such a conversation with her boss.

“Susan!” Milano barked, suddenly stopping all of her talking. “What the hell are you doing here? Go home. And it should be Signor Veneziani to you, not Milano.”

“Don’t make a scene!” She laughed, seeing that her boss didn’t want to turn around to face her, as if he was afraid of her next steps. “I still remember how earlier your ‘friend’ was tensed under my gentle caresses. You still want me.”

“I don’t care what you dream about, Susan. Let go of my ass!”

Susan burst out laughing in response to the protest of her boss and squeezed his buttocks even more.

Milano understood that he must immediately forestall every occurrence at a certain stage. If a woman doesn’t understand his words, then she needs to understand a man’s behavior. He abruptly turned to face Susan, ready to chuck her out but quickly cursed, seeing her body completely naked.

“Come here...” Susan said hoarsely, sitting on the edge of the table and pulling the desk chair to herself. She put her slender legs on it and started to slowly widen them in opposite directions. She showed Milano her erotic charms and was ready to attack.

Milano reprobated himself for being such a slug and not being able to tell Susan that she no longer haunted him. But his sexual second ‘I’ wildly fought with his mind, as if signaling him to take this woman the way a man would. He knew perfectly well that if he lied to Veronica, she was unlikely to forgive him. Considering her character, perhaps she would flee with their child. And he didn’t wish to get into another round of fighting with his Angel. Milano wanted to begin his life with Veronica who so often proved her love, but who he so desperately alienated. She was the one who cared about what was happening in his soul.

But while Milano was thinking how to send Susan away on all fours, the bare forepart of her foot reached for his crotch. She massaged it deliberately to make Milano excited more and more. Susan was aware that her boss always liked jaunty women. The women who could take business into their own hands and show what they wanted. She knew how Milano enjoyed it when they showed their experience and knowledge of things in a coition way.

But Susan’s hopes were not destined to be realized. Unexpectedly, Milano’s mobile phone was ringing forcing her boss to be distracted from her.

“Milano, where the heck are you? It’s already half past eleven!” Lucenzo jawed Milano when Milano picked up the phone and breathed heavily into it. Milano’s brother was talking as if he could see what was happening in the office and didn’t like it at all.

  Milano immediately stiffened.

“Lu.” He said, exhaling in relief. “I’m on my way. I’ll be home soon.”

“Come faster,” Lucenzo muttered, dropping the call. Milano could piss off his brother as well, although he certainly didn’t intend to.

Picking up all his things from the office and quickly passing by the nude Susan, Milano ignored her presence. It was the best thing he could do; not to think about his male desire.

Susan was furious. Her plan ended in a fiasco.

Gorblimey! That god damn call came through at the wrong time and interrupted me! This boggles my mind! She told herself angrily.

“Milano, wait a minute.” Susan cooed, daring to seduce him again, but Milano ran down the stairs, not waiting for the lift to come.

“This seduction won’t be a surprise for him anymore. Now, I have to think of something more effective. Damn it!” Susan cursed these circumstances and her attraction to her boss. If she had more time, she could prove to Milano that he only pretended and didn’t want to end their relationship. But was Susan right? Did she know Milano as Veronica knew him?

Dressing up after the failed act of seduction, she turned off the light and half an hour later left the office of ‘Romano Industries.’ Catching a taxi, she sat in the back seat; in anticipation of the future revenge on an insolent upstart like Veronica. She had her best card to hurt the future bride of Signor Veneziani.

  ***

Endeavoring not to make any noise in his cottage, Milano gently closed the front door. He put his shoes in the dark hall and slowly made his way on tiptoe to the wooden stairs.

Suddenly he heard the reproachful voice of his younger brother, who was standing near him. “How do you explain your late arrival at home, Milano? Did you already gambol with someone in the office?”

Lucenzo was rattled. He didn’t understand why Milano lived with Veronica if he was deceiving her. It was so unpleasant to him; Lucenzo planned to voice out everything that had accumulated in his heart. He wanted to give Milano a big kick in his ass for how he mistreated Veronica.

“Stop it, Lucenzo.” Milano quickly interrupted his brother. “There was nothing. Maybe Susan wanted to, but I didn’t!”

“Well, of course, there was nothing!” Lucenzo sardonically repeated for Milano. “It did not happen because I called you! I heard your rapid breathing, and I can imagine that—”

“Enough! If I said nothing happened, so it
is.” The spring of Milano’s patience broke again, even though Milano understood his brother. He felt guilty that he couldn’t stop Susan and she found his weak spot.

Really, was it so hard for Milano to say ‘no’? Maybe it was. The male nature was willing to impregnate all women and not think about the consequences. But our society was controlling it, admitting the love and legal marriage between the sexes.

“I don’t know how you will explain everything to Veronica. I hope she’ll understand.” Lucenzo muttered.

  “Where is she?” Milano asked.

“And where do you think?” Lucenzo flared. “She is sleeping in her bed!”

He abruptly waved a swirl of his long hair and sulked at his brother; he immediately went to his room on the second floor.

Milano silently pondered Lucenzo’s words. He scolded me for nothing! I didn’t want Susan; even my dignity told me the opposite. I did not surrender to the attraction. Or did I?

Condemning his weakness for women, Milano went upstairs. He opened the door to the room and contemplated in the twilight. The white Angel was lying on the bed and held in her hand her sketches. Milano was bemused. Veronica was so gorgeous that any poem in the world couldn’t portray her beauty. Milano’s eyes filled with pain.

How could he forget about her so quickly and succumb to Susan’s temptations? What motivated him; the fear of losing his macho status or the fear of being alone? His soul and mind conflicted. He wasn’t aware of to what thing he could give his preference.

Yielding to his desire to consider Veronica’s features without a light, Milano leaned forward and placed his hands on either side of her body. Watching how the muscles of her face moved as she dreamt, he was fascinated. She was so helpless, so astonishing like a pure crystal lake that it made Milano feel to leave Veronica. He did not set his heart to defame her, to denigrate the Angel who tried to wash all his sins off.

He went to the closet and began to undress, hanging his clothes. Milano felt Veronica’s foot touch his ankle, sliding down his calf muscle.
