FAST Balls (Balls to the Wall Book 4)
Page 6
Mick nodded.
“Like fire in your balls wanting to explode.”
“Oh shit, yeah.”
“Squeeze your hand, Mick. Tight.” The big paw gripped harder. “Yeah. Good.” He had his hands going like a piston engine. “I don’t know about you, but I’m about to come all over your hands. Like that idea?”
“Oh yes. Yes!”
“And if you come too, our jizz will mix together, and I love that idea.” Hell, he was out of control and didn’t give a shit!
“Yes, yes, Jerry. Gonna do it. Gonna come.”
“Look at me. I want to see you when you come.”
The green eyes bored into his. Jerry pumped like a madman. Mick’s eyes got wider and wider, his mouth open on a silent scream. Then not so silent. “Oh God, oh God, Jerr—”
Too loud! Jerry captured Mick’s mouth with his own as fire ripped through his balls and sent floods of cum into Mick Cassidy’s waiting hand. Oh crap.
Jerry pulled away and watched Mick’s eyes roll up. “Unh, unh, unh.”
Mick fell against the tree trunk gasping, still holding their cocks in a stranglehold.
Jerry figured he’d do good to stay upright. Hell, that was spectacular.
He opened his hands and pried Mick’s fist off their softening cocks. Sure enough. A big handful of cum. He looked up at Mick’s closed eyes, then leaned down and licked some of the juice off Mick’s thumb.
“What did you do?”
He glanced at Mick, who was staring at him. “Sorry. Just a silly gay boy thing.”
“You like the taste?”
“Yeah.” And it was true.
“I tasted my own once.”
“Most guys have.”
“Really?”
Man, this guy had no role models at all.
Slowly, Mick raised the hand to his mouth and licked. “Salty.” He licked again. “And kind of sweet too.”
“Yeah.”
“You gotta be nice on the inside to taste that good.”
Well, that was hella sweet. “You’re in there too.”
“Did you mean what you said about, uh, guys playing together?”
“Yep. Hell, in boys’ schools they fuck each other and don’t think anything about it.” Or so he’d heard.
“Fuck in the ass?”
“Yeah.”
“Does it feel good?”
“Does to me.”
“Wow.”
Facts were facts. He would gladly bend over right now and let this straight hater hammer his ass into next week. He’d lost it. “We should get back in.”
“Oh, right.”
Jerry pulled some tissues from his pocket, and they both cleaned up. He glanced at Mick. The guy looked stunned, but not necessarily in a bad way. “I came out the back door, so no one knows I’m here except Jezebel. You go in the front, stop at the men’s room to wash your hands, and then go find Jezebel. She should still be with Andres somewhere. Tell them you were sick.”
“We had dinner before we came.”
“Good. Something disagreed with you.”
“Okay.”
He looked up at Mick’s handsome face. No way could he forget their history. Hell, Mick had been cruel. Never as awful as he was to Hunter, but still really bad. And yet he seemed like a kid who had followed rules laid down for him and was just opening his own eyes. Regardless, this was probably the stupidest thing Jerry’d ever done, but man, did he feel good right now. It even gave him a warm glow to kind of be the smart one for a change. The smart dumb one.
He reached up a hand and touched Mick’s cheek. “Don’t worry about this too much, okay?”
Mick nodded, but that expression on his face was all about confusion.
“I’m going to go in the back door and find Andres.”
“Do you like him a lot?”
What the hell? “He’s just a friend.”
Mick nodded, and Jerry walked toward the back entrance to the ballroom. Certifiable, man. But he hadn’t felt like this in a long time. Not even with Bill.
MICK PULLED up in front of the address Jezebel had given him in Costa Mesa. A real simple house on the west side of town.
She touched his arm as he put the car in park. “You sure you’re feeling okay now?”
“Yeah, thanks. I don’t know what got me, but it’s gone now.” Wow, he was better at lying than he thought. What would happen if he told her the truth? No way. He had to think before he told anybody. “Thanks for coming with me tonight. Sorry I wrecked it.”
She smiled. “You didn’t wreck anything. I had a great time. I had a wonderful dinner even if they did poison you, and I got to wear a pretty dress.” She’d changed back to her gunnysack and washed off her makeup in the bathroom at the club before they left. She was still pretty, but he’d liked the blue dress better. She kind of wiggled. “I sort of learned to dance. I must confess, while you were sick, Andres taught me a few more steps. He was great.”
“Yeah. Sorry to leave you with a gay guy.”
“Are you kidding? Nobody could have been nicer. I even danced with a firefighter named Donovan. A sweet guy. I had fun, Mick.”
“Good. I’m glad.”
“Look, I know you’re not interested in me, but could you keep pretending to date me? Until I figure out how to get away from my family? I’ve got some money saved that I earned proofreading manuscripts for people online. I have this secret computer, but I’m scared they’re going to find it. Anyway, I’m running off at the mouth, but would you?”
Help her? Hell, helping people was what he loved most. He understood when they thanked him. Other stuff about people he didn’t quite get all the time. “Sure. I like you more than any other girl I know.”
She smiled at him with a funny little look. “I’m glad. If I can use seeing you, the preacher’s son, as an excuse, I can figure out a way to get to Costa Mesa more. Then I could apply for a scholarship and find a job.”
“Why don’t you call your parents and tell them I’m taking you to the beach or something? Then you could look around for work tomorrow. You can use my computer.” He’d have to shut down some of his links first.
She bounced in her seat. “That would be so great. Thank you, thank you, thank you.” She leaned over and kissed his cheek. “Will you keep my dress?” She pointed toward the backseat.
“Sure.”
“I’ll see you tomorrow. When?”
“I’ll come get you at eleven.”
“Perfect. I know I’ll have to go to church with the people I’m staying with, but I should be back by then.”
She hopped out of the car, waved, and ran up toward the bungalow. He saw a curtain move. That kiss on the cheek would be reported back to her parents. They’d probably be happy.
Finally he got to be alone. He put the car in gear and slipped slowly away from the house, then pointed toward the Pacific Coast Highway and south to Laguna.
He took a deep breath. What exactly had he done? Let another man jerk him off. Well, he helped, and they jerked off together. Jerry said it was no big deal. It didn’t make Mick gay. It seemed to him Jerry was pretty honest.
Why had he loved it so much?
Okay, big question. Why had he never been with a girl? Oh damn, that question was way too big.
Jerry said no big deal.
He didn’t want to think about it. He pulled up an equation and sorted it in his mind. Tough to concentrate.
Actually, he just wanted to focus on how good his cock felt. He pushed a hand into his lap and pressed down. A little sore from all that rubbing. He ran his fingers over it gently through his pants. His ass clenched. Oh man. Those fingers in his butthole had felt so good.
His foot pressed harder on the gas.
Chapter Seven
JERRY HAULED his board from the water up to the beach. Not much surf today. Should have gone to Doheny, but man, he was crazy-ass tired and had slept in again. Tired from trying not to think too much about what he’d done. Shiiiiit, he ha
d a perfectly good gay guy ready to fuck him eight ways from Sunday, and he’d been in the parking lot jerking off a straight queer hater.
He dropped the board and sat down on the sand with his back against a rock. Why? Yes, Mick was every inch his type, but that didn’t excuse it. Still, when Jerry had seen the guy up against that tree looking like he’d lost his puppy, he’d wanted to hold him and make it all better. Of course, when Mick kissed him, that had changed fast to wanting to fuck him. Hell!
Even the waves couldn’t shut off his brain, and that never happened. He should just catch some rays and sleep.
He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. The sun was warm even though the breeze cooled everything down. Nice.
The shadow landed right on his face. He opened his eyes. The huge silhouette against the sun looked awfully familiar. He squinted but it didn’t help. “Mick?”
“Hi, Jerry.” The big guy squatted down in front of him. What a picture. Mick wore board shorts and nothing else.
“Hi.” Jerry sat up—the better to see the view. Funny, but he’d never seen Mick nude. The guy was always careful about keeping himself covered. While most of the men in the firehouse pranced around bare-assed, Mick wore a towel or three.
But damn, the more of that body he uncovered, the better. Shoulders like mountains with a heavily muscled chest. Whatever he’d done to lose his few extra pounds had worked, baby. His waist tapered dramatically and his stomach showed the beginnings of a six-pack. The bulging muscles in his thighs just made Jerry want those long legs wrapped where they’d do the most good. He took a big breath. Get over yourself. “Were you looking for me?” Like maybe for some more of what they’d had last night?
“Uh, yeah. I had to go to the beach, and I heard you telling one of the guys at the station that you sometimes surf here at Thalia. I walked from my place.”
He cocked his head. “Why do you have to go to the beach?”
“Uh, Jezebel’s at my place, and we told her family I was going to the beach. So I didn’t want to lie altogether.”
Jezebel? Man, why did that make him feel weird? He swallowed. “You tricky devil. You said you weren’t attracted to her.”
Mick’s eyes widened. “What? Oh no, she’s using my computer to look for a job. She spent the night in Costa Mesa with family friends, but she’s trying to get away. Have a life.”
“Like you did?”
He stared at the sand. “Sort of.”
Jerry patted the sand next to him. “So sit.”
Mick smiled like Jerry had just given him a candy bar. “Thanks.” He turned and leaned against the rock with his long, muscular legs stretched in front of him. “This is nice.”
Jerry glanced at Mick’s pale skin. “Don’t guess you spend too much time at the beach.”
“No. I always forget it’s here.”
Jerry laughed. “What do you do for fun?”
Silence.
He looked over at Mick’s very pink ear.
“Uh, I used to go out to Norco on my days off.”
“To your community?” That was the word he’d used.
“Yeah.”
Jerry picked up some tiny shells from the sand. “Why didn’t you go today? Because of Jezebel?”
“No, I haven’t been going so much lately. They kind of give me the creeps.”
Jerry laughed. “I know how that can be.”
“Where are your folks?”
“Back east.”
Mick grinned. “I never would think of anything eastern about you.”
“I know. Weird, huh?” He tossed the shells. “My folks are bankers.” He laughed. “Maybe as creepy as your preacher father.”
“So how did you get here?”
Man, he didn’t talk about this much. “I didn’t do good in school. I’ve got this reading problem, and nobody caught it until I was way far behind because I was good at memorizing stuff when I heard it. My folks were kind of embarrassed by me. A jock who wasn’t real bright. Somebody told me I should be an actor, so I borrowed some money and flew to California. It took me about a week to figure out I wasn’t ever going to be an actor, but it took one minute to know this is where I belong, man. I’ve been here ever since.”
“How old were you when you came?”
“Seventeen.”
“Wow, they let you come that young.”
“Yeah. I didn’t exactly ask. But they were just as glad to be rid of me. I paid back the money in a few months.”
“You mean you didn’t learn to surf until you were seventeen?”
“Yeah, natural athlete, they call it. And I didn’t take up firefighting until I was twenty-six. I’m a late bloomer.” He laughed and sighed at the same time.
“But you aren’t dumb.”
That was sweet. “Thanks.”
“No, seriously, I’m super smart, and I think you’re smarter than me.”
What? “Uh, thanks, Mick.”
He wouldn’t give up. “I’m a genius, they say, but I’m bad with people. I can’t make friends or anything.” He hunched those big shoulders and stared at the sand. “You’re like a genius with people. Nice and kind and funny.”
Shit. “Kind of you to say so. So you’re a genius?”
“At math. Stuff like that. Nothing that matters.”
Holy crap, why did he keep coming up against these smart people? “Why’d you become a firefighter?”
“It made sense to me. Save people’s lives and their property.”
Jerry nodded. “Me too.”
Quiet. Seagulls. Waves. Ignore the double jerk-off elephant at the beach. Why was Mick here?
“Jerry?”
“Yeah?”
“What we did last night.”
“Yeah.”
“I keep thinking about it.”
“I told you not to worry too much. You got turned on by Jezebel and needed some relief. I was there.” He closed his eyes.
“Not by Jezebel. By you.”
His eyes opened. Jerry looked at Mick’s profile. “What do you mean?”
“I was watching you and the other guy dance.”
Ooookay. “I see.” So maybe Mick wasn’t so straight.
“I was thinking how your cocks must be rubbing together. I thought it would feel good.”
Jerry swallowed. “Now you know.”
More staring at the sand. “Yes. It felt great.”
Jerry held his breath.
“Now I’m wondering what it feels like to have a—a cock in your ass.”
Jerry let the breath out slowly. Should he laugh or cry? “Well, the first time it’s hard to do. You kind of need to stretch the hole so it doesn’t hurt.”
Mick didn’t look up, but his ears glowed like a sunset. “That makes sense.”
Waves. Seagulls.
Mick stared at more sand. “Would you like to try it with me sometime?”
Oh my God. Mick Cassidy just asked Jerry to fuck him, and Jerry’s cock liked the idea so much it practically split his shorts.
He cleared his throat. “Uh, yeah. I’d love to. Of course, you could learn by fuck—putting your cock in me.”
Mick’s rugged face turned with big eyes. “I could?”
“Hell yeah.” He pushed down on his shorts so the outline of his erection clearly showed. “Obviously I like the idea, man.”
“Do you have to stretch?”
Jerry laughed. “No. I do that a lot.”
Mick frowned.
“Uh, but not lately.”
Big smile. “So can we do that?”
“Now?”
“Yeah. I have time if you do.”
Was he actually sitting here contemplating having gay sex with Mick? Hell yeah! “My place is a few blocks. I’ve got a car. You sure you want to?”
Mick nodded.
He’d entered the Twilight Zone, man. But it took his surfboard to cover the boner in his pants.
JERRY UNLOCKED the door to his apartment and pushed it open. He swept a hand t
oward the inside. “Make yourself at home.”
Mick stepped up, filling the doorframe, and then walked slowly into the apartment. “Wow. This is nice. Funny, it looks a little like my apartment. The colors and stuff.”
Jerry closed the door and crossed into the small entryway that led into a larger living room. “Yeah, I have a friend who’s a decorator. He did it for me because I helped him with some sports stuff. He didn’t have to pay me back, but I sure do like what he did.” The big leather sectional was his favorite. He could lie on that thing for hours and watch TV. Wheat color, JJ called it, but all he knew was he could spill shit on it and it washed right off and still looked great.
Mick ran a hand over the leather back of the couch. “Funny. They told me my place used to be owned by a decorator. It has nice colors like this.” He shook his head. “But it’s just one big room over a garage.”
Jerry laughed and Mick looked up at him. “I’ll bet you live in JJ’s old apartment. He’s a great guy. You’d love him.” Or maybe not, since JJ was a flaming queen.
“I thought they were kidding me since I figured no decorator would live in such a tiny place.”
“He lived there while he was in school.”
“Wow, I live in a fag’s apartment.”
Okay, he could take offense, but likely Mick didn’t even know he was being an asshole. “Yep, we’re everywhere. Firefighters, decorators… nobody’s safe.”
Mick’s ears turned that familiar pink. “Sorry. I didn’t mean anything by it.”
“I know. But it’s one of those things where gay guys can call each other fags, but we don’t necessarily like other people to do it.”
He nodded. “I’ll remember that.”
So earnest. “Thanks.” And so yummy. “Would you like something to drink?”
“Sure.”
Jerry pointed at the couch and walked into the kitchen that was separated from the living area by a big chopping-board-island thing JJ had put in. He ran a hand over the wood. He must be getting gayer, because he really liked his nice stuff.
Mick called in, “You like the Chargers?”
