  Mak nodded. “My gift is to see things past, present, and future, they are like in a dream. Four nights ago, I dreamed of that facility and I knew I was supposed to be there, to either help with something, or stop something from happening.   Kade looked at the others who were nodding. “We are the Drekinn Pack, I am sure you have heard of us since our names and pictures have been posted as Wanted Dead or Alive in so many places you would have to live in a hole not to know who we are. Your mates are part of the Council for the pack.”

  “Yeah, I know, and I also know you need me to join the Council,” Mak said smoothly.

  Kade grinned. “A dream?”

  “We need a fucking chart to make all of this make sense,” Rissa muttered. “I have no idea who is who and why who is important and what they are supposed to be doing.”

  Ari snorted. “Tell me about it, with the Denver Pack we did the same thing, especially when the children were born.”

  “We were talking about the facility, which we were checking out. Inside are members of the Denver Pack, which we need to save. How long were you watching that place?” Kade asked.

  Mak smiled. “Not long enough, although today while we were there a woman arrived in an SUV, I believe you know her, I do not but I have dreamed about her. Who is she?”

  Calli grimaced and said, “She is the president’s wife.”

  “And who is she to this whole thing?” Mak said.

  “She is the one who is behind the Prentiss Agency. The Bondi King is the one who is the official person named as being in charge of the agency. Yeah, we know his name is dumb as shit, but hey, that is what he calls himself so we are going with it. But the president’s wife is the one pulling the strings, we tapped into some of their communications and there is no doubt she is the one in charge. Her name is Rebekka Frank. We don’t have much on her other than the fact she is a descendant of Roarke with a female lion shifter we can’t seem to find listed anywhere,” Rissa said and then looked at her mates who had been helping her with all of the computer shit they had going on. “We need to dig deeper, there has to be something more about her or her family.”

  “Agreed,” Simon said.

  “With her being in the mix, this is going to be challenging, since not only does she have the government resources at her fingertips but she also has the Ulfer resources. We break those people out and we are going to be hunted. Right now, this place is safe with the spells that were placed on it. Not sure if they will hold to that type of scrutiny though,” Kade said. “They have power as well, and we are close to them, too close. I think we need to start looking at somewhere else. Ari said we need to go home, but we need to discuss that first and see what resources we have there. Sabrina and Trina may have that info for us.”

  Calli argued, “Half of the people here made a long trek to come here and be protected, and now we are going to ask them to move again? Not sure they are going to be hip to do that, like at all. And what of the smaller villages they have set up already, just on the outskirts of the compound, what about them, we can’t leave them here like sitting ducks.”

  Kade looked around the room. “Looks like we need Sabrina and Trina to get a move on, or we need to find another place.”

  Ari shook his head. “Going home is the only option.”

  Mak look at Kade and said, “It is, I have already seen it, and your women, Trina and Sabrina. They should know by now the training facility is almost up to par with what you will need. Only a few more things, which will be easy to get, the people of the town whom have protected the Denver Pack for a long time are willing and able to do their part. Most of them are family members of the human mates to the Senate or the Chosen. They will do what they have to do in order to make sure everything is safe there.”

  “How did you know about Trina and Sabrina?” Cherri asked.

  Mak grinned, “I was there before I was here, and I made sure they arrived to the place they were intended on being. In a dream they had a problem which I solved, and now
all is well.”

  “What problem?” Calli asked.

  Mak shook his head. “In my dream they were captured by the Ulfers on their drive to Drake. They would have been had I not intervened when I did. All is well and they arrived.”

  “And then you came here?” Cherri asked.

  Mak nodded, “That is what I do, dream and then fix the problem. Some of my dreams last longer than others, some of them just flashes of stuff that doesn’t make sense until I am in the situation, by then everything makes sense.”

  “Well, we have a lot to take care of, I will contact the girls, see where they are at and what the deal is, if everything pans out, we are moving, so let’s meet back here in a few hours, determine what we need to do. In the meantime, Simon and Phillip, could you go ahead and get a team ready, we are going to have to do this quickly, all of this going off at the same time is gonna be messy, but we are going to have to try,” Kade said and then stood. “Everyone get your shit ready.”

  Everyone in the room began to stand and gather their things but they stopped when Hope and Gio both stood and walked over to where Mak was sitting. They weren’t going to miss this show—it was going to be entertaining.

  “Mak,” Gio started and the man stood slowly since he was still a little sore. He hadn’t told everyone the extent to his powers, nor would he, mostly because he was warned not to, they couldn’t know yet what he could do, only his mates would be in the know, and that was because they would certainly notice when he slept for more than eight hours, usually he was traveling between times.
