Through his pain he heard a wolf, thinking there were no wolves. He fell on his side panting, passing out for a time. When he woke he did not think much time had passed. The moon seemed hardly to have moved. Corwyn thought it even brighter now and he could see deep into the woods. The scents were tantalizing. The spicy waft of pine needles, the musky depth of rabbit and vole scat, the dusty breath of a feather on the ground. He moved forward, only then realizing he walked on all fours. Looking down, he saw paws, brown tinged with golden hairs.

He looked at his body and spun in a circle, seeing the full plume of a brown tail. A dog's tail? No. A wolf's tail. Corwyn laughed and it came out a howl. He laughed and laughed, letting his howl fill the night. Then he was off and running through the woods, ears perked forward, following interesting scents. Everything was so crisp and clear, as if every leaf, tree and animal was limned by the moon's light.

There, just under the fern that was a deep saturated emerald, a new scent filled his nostrils. He breathed deep. There was something familiar about it, a hint of cinnamon and citrus and something darker, mysterious. Nose to the ground, Corwyn followed the trail, using his muzzle more than his eyes. The ground, whether soft or rocky, flat or furrowed met his paws and he moved assuredly, confident in his wolf form.

The scent grew strong and Corwyn stopped, feeling something, eyes on him. He looked up. Sitting on a slight rise where the trees parted for a path was a wolf with a white patch at its throat and blending to tawny fur. Corwyn cocked his head, then raised his muzzle to the air and sniffed. The scent was familiar, but not the one he'd been following. The wolf came down to him and he lowered his head, not daring to meet its eyes. This was right. This was how it should be. He waited for the wolf to approach him. The scent was wood smoke and bark. His cock stirred.

The tawny wolf growled softly, challenging, but not menacing. Corwyn wasn't sure what to do so he did not move. As the wolf gave him a sniff, a deeper growl vibrated through the glade. Both wolves jolted, the tawny wolf hunching forward, growling, challenging.

Coming through the deepest shade of trees was a massive black wolf, its golden eyes piercing the darkness. Corwyn couldn't move, was indeed frightened and unsure. The two wolves circled each other, both magnificent. The black wolf was broader through the shoulders but the tawny wolf had a larger ruff. Corwyn was transfixed, his head swiveling back and forth, as the two paced each other. Their muzzles pulled back showing long sharp teeth and Corwyn held his breath.

Instinctively, he knew they were fighting for him but did that mean he had to choose the winner? He gave a short yip but they both ignored him. A whine escaped his throat as he licked his nose, sitting then standing as they leaped at each other.

The tawny wolf got its paws on the back of the black wolf and pushed, snapping in, just missing the throat. He bit at the leg and the black wolf wrenched it away, snarling, leaping back. Then the black wolf leaped impossibly high and barreled the tawny wolf over, biting into his upper right shoulder. The tawny wolf yelped and snarled, snapping back. They tumbled down a hill, and into a stream, breaking apart momentarily.

The tawny wolf came in low and bit at the other's belly, but the black wolf latched onto his neck. A louder yelp broke from the tawny wolf and it rolled to the ground, belly up. The black wolf didn't close its jaws completely but stared into the other's eyes, growling, and slowly released him, backing away but snarling. The tawny wolf backed away, growling but giving way. It glanced once at Corwyn and moved off.

Somehow, he knew that he belonged to the black wolf. He crawled on his belly to the great beast and waited, head down. The wolf nuzzled him and he stood head to tail with the other as they pulled in each other's scents. Here was the cinnamon and citrus.

The wolf took hold of his neck, biting into the fur, but more to hold him than to hurt him. The the wolf mounted him, his penis sliding easily in and Corwyn knew, this was meant to be. The paws of the black wolf wrapped around his haunches and the wolf's weight settled pleasantly along Corwyn's back. Then as the wolf penetrated him deeply and began to thrust he felt the penis expand and expand inside him, gorged with blood and lust. They locked together and the wolf humped quickly and deeply. The great bulb of his cock swelled inside Corwyn and he came as the black wolf's cock spasmed inside him, filling him with liquid heat.

Lethargy and ultimate contentment spread through Corwyn. A low growl vibrated through him, almost a hum. This was what he was meant to be. Eventually the black wolf withdrew, nuzzled Corwyn once and moved off, looking over his shoulder before disappearing.

Corwyn stayed out most of the night before returning home in human form, somewhat disheveled and smelling of wolf sex.

They had eight days of the play to do in a row and Corwyn moved into the next day in a dream. The moon was full for three nights and he knew he'd be out then, dancing in the silvery light.

Adam came up to him, a hurt look in his eyes. A lock of blonde hair fell into his eyes and he pushed it away, his hand bearing some scratches. “I thought you were mine, Corwyn. I thought you'd stay with me.”

  “What? What do you mean?”

Then he noticed the bandage on Adam's right shoulder. “You're--”

Adam gave a wry smile. “Of course, didn't you know? You're an omega. Wolves will always be drawn to you.”

“I...I didn't even know I was a wolf until last night. I think it was a bite.”

“I'm sure it was.” Adam looked down, crestfallen. “I hope it's what you want.” He walked away, and while they would act for the next week together, Adam remained aloof after that.

The next two nights, Corwyn roamed the woods, getting used to all of his senses but he didn't see a wolf either night. He wondered where the black wolf was.

The week spun by and it was the night of the finale. The play had gone well. Midsummer's Night's Dream and it had felt much like a dream. Encountering the true king of faery, losing his virginity and turning into a wolf, he wondered if he would wake up from some sort of drug overdose. Corwyn had been feeling...different, but with everything that had happened, he doubted he could feel normal. He rubbed his belly, unsure what the feeling was. There was a fullness to him that he couldn't put his finger on.

He had hours until the play was to begin and he decided to take a walk in the woods in daylight. It felt like forever since he'd first met Oberon but it had only been a month. A whirlwind. And now he was worried. What sort of relationships did wolves have? Adam wouldn't touch him and the other wolf hadn't been seen since.

Preoccupied as he was, Corwyn wandered deep and only realized he was back in the realm of faery when he heard the chittering and creaky laughter of the sprites that had terrorized him that first time.

“Ah look, the lone wolf wanders lost,” a mushroomy wizened faery tittered.

“Hee hee, he wanders in lust, not lost,” a green leafy sprite laughed back.

They buzzed around him, soft flutters on his neck and ears, along his legs. He stopped and looked around. It took a moment for his eyes to adjust to the light, to realize where two fallen trees, moss-covered, came together that Oberon sat there on a throne. It was made of leaves and fern, brambles and berries, but all the same it was a throne and the king of faeries was majestic. He was not the stag king as the first time Corwyn had seen him, nor was he the wolf, for now Corwyn knew. The golden eyes shone forth and Oberon sat resplendent and naked, a man of bronze skin with dark curling hair and a broad, well-muscled chest. His strong defined thighs were spread wide as he reclined, a finger to his chin, studying Corwyn.

He beckoned him forward. “Come,” his deep voice rumbled. “Sit on my lap.” and from his lap his great roseate cock stood, like a wand to command all the forces of nature.

Corwyn realized he had not had a chance to fully admire Oberon's body before and now he could, in daylight, without fear. He came forward, pulling off his shirt. He undid his pants, dropping them and his underwear next to his shoes.

  Then he cra
wled forward and reached up into Oberon's lap and stroked the magnificent giant cock. This had been inside him. This had awoken him to a new world. He reverently leaned forward and took the tip into his mouth. It was so long and thick. Could he possibly fit it all? Licking around the ridge of the flesh helmet, Corwyn closed his eyes, all the more to center all sensations on taste and touch, his hands resting on Oberon's knees.

His head bobbed up and down on the shaft a few times, but a light touch from Oberon stopped him and he opened his eyes. Oberon was smiling. “You are certainly all mine, my Omega.”

“What...” Corwyn swallowed. “What exactly does that mean?”

Oberon grinned. “I'm your Alpha, and you are special. My Omega. I have not felt this way about a human for a long time. Come, sit in my lap.”

Corwyn stood, noticing his cock was rigid, filled with anticipation. He faced Oberon and straddled his legs, lowering himself slowly onto that gorgeous shaft. Nothing had ever felt so exquisite, so all-encompassing and he shivered in little waves of bliss as he slid down the shaft until his balls rested on Oberons's stomach, and Oberon's balls nestled against his butt.

He stayed that way for a moment, thrilling at the completed circle, Alpha and Omega, one great work, human and faery. Then he began to move up Oberon's cock as the faery king's large hands guided his hips. Slowly, up and down, up and down, his cock caught between them, building with the friction, feeling as if he would burst. He was on the edge, when Oberon stood with him wrapped around the faery king's waist. Oberon lay him down on the mossy throne and proceed to pump furiously until they both exploded in orgasm, their conjoined cries ringing out through the trees.

Once done, Oberon curled around Corwyn, holding him. “You are mine, my love. For all of your time. Free to move in my world and yours. But when your time comes, you may want to be here.”

  “My time?”

Oberon leaned over him, his golden eyes sparkling with laughter. “Yes, my little Omega. You're pregnant. You're carrying my pup, a new thing that will be part human, part faery, and all ours.”

Corwyn teared up. “I...I never thought this summer would be anything like this. It's beyond my wildest expectations.” He turned and hugged Oberon. “Thank you.”

Oberon stood, shifting back to antlered deer king. He helped Corwyn stand. “And now, I think you must return to your world to play your last night as Oberon.”

“Yes.” Corwyn smiled shyly. “But I have learned I'll never be the best Oberon for you have indeed shown me that you are.”

Oberon's finger tilted his chin up. “Together we have achieved the best, and our child will be the culmination of that greatness.”

Corwyn laughed. “I never knew what I was looking for, and what I was hiding from. But I'm very happy you showed me the way.”

  THE END

  Omega Tempted by the Billionaire

Matt Cullam is a journalist—one of the best. When his longtime friend Hillary, lately married into a billionaire family, invites him to her new countryside home for a mini-vacation, Matt accepts gladly.

But when Mattt arrives, he finds that Hillary needs his help. Her new family is suffering a media scandal, and they need his journalistic savvy to help right the wrong. Unfortunately for Matt, helping them will involve close work with Hillary's new brother-in-law: the remote, difficult and commanding owner of the company, Drew Matherson.

Ever since their first meeting, Matt and Drew have hated each other. Drew is everything that infuriates Matt: selfish, privileged and opinionated, a true alpha. And Matt is everything that inflames Drew, it seems: caring, impulsive and uncompromising.

Will sexy alpha and omega manage to overcome their differences? And what will happen when the initial repulsion between Matt and Drew starts to blossom into something completely different?

Scandal, passion and power collide in an explosive combination in a story set in the sweeping majesty of the Northern Colorado countryside.

  Omega Tempted by the Billionaire

Matt Cullam, award-winning journalist for one of the country’s most prominent news publications, wheeled his luggage up the stone driveway to the elegant three-story vacation home that sat nestled on the banks of an isolated Colorado lake. He sighed, rueful, and stopped on a path heading up a shallow slope, and eventually curved inwards again, towards the front door.

After the day's travel and the long walk in the countryside, Matt could feel his nerves fraying. As a shifter, he might love forests. But that did not mean he loved walking around in them in his human form. In fact, he felt, he could do without them. He wasn't cut out for this sort of thing...the countryside lifestyle. He grinned wryly. His new hiking boots chafed painfully at his toes, and his luggage hobbled along behind like a drunken sailor. He ran a hand through his hair, noticing with an ironic grin that its careful side-parting was completely ruined by the wind. The elements out here were merciless. Why had he come all this way, to this remote place? He sighed.

Matt had informed Hillary, one of his best friends since junior high, that he simply could not take time off from work at the moment, but Hillary had insisted that it was important. Newly married to Jake Matherson, Hillary was enthusiastically embracing the transition from upscale NYC to the beautiful, but rustic, northern Colorado. Matt loved his friend, and her new husband, but after attending their intimate wedding Matt had decided that he would not be disappointed if he never had to return to this middle-of-nowhere town again.

Matt tugged his bag over a particularly deep dent in the path as he started walking again, remembering, as he went, his visit to this very town only six months previously. Hillary’s wedding had been the perfect representation of subtle elegance. Matt smiled as he remembered Hillary’s blonde curls and pale, blushing skin. He shook his head and grinned. They were both rather good looking, he had to admit—ever since they first became friends, people usually assumed they were a couple. The contrast in their looks was striking—she pale and delicate, he darker, with golden umber toned hair and sun-kissed skin that maintained its tanned complexion even in winter. What they had in common, what they had always had, was their love for music and for competitive sports and games.

Matt thought back over the last few months. While the wedding had been straight out of a fairy tale, Matt gritted his teeth at the memory of the pompous groomsman with whom he had spent most of the evening talking, despite his apparent lack of interest. Drew Matherson, elder brother to Hillary’s husband and heir to the Matherson fortune, had been the bane of Matt’s existence from the moment they had laid eyes on each other. Sure, he shrugged; he had to admit he was good-looking, with his light brown hair and striking blue eyes. It was something about who he was. Cocky and self-assured—a typical alpha—he seemed to take an indecent pleasure in goading Matt’s headstrong, independent side, causing heated arguments that only left him on the brink of wanting to throttle the man. If his parents hadn’t raised him better, Matt felt sure it would have come to raised voices, or raised fists. Some people, it seemed, were made to make you practice your ability to Zen out no matter what, Matt thought. And, alpha or no— and somehow Matt felt fairly confident that Drew must be an alpha— those people were a trial to his dwindling supply of patience.

Matt paused and brushed his hands down the length of his well-fitted coat. He took a breath and composed himself for a moment. He would not let the memory of Drew Matherson disconcert him. Anyway, he reminded himself, Drew himself would probably be occupied with business during this visit, and he had no need to worry about another confrontation with that infuriating man. He fixed a happy grin back on his face, his own sense of humor making it more like an ironic grimace. He sighed. At least with all this open countryside, he might get a chance to explore it in his other form. That would be something. And, seeing Hillary, of course. He had missed her, since she moved herself off to this remote place.

Before he was able to ring the doorbell, Hillary came bursting onto the porch and enveloped Matt in an exuberant hug.<
br />
“Oh Matt, I’m so glad that you’re here.” Hillary was flitting around like a psychotic butterfly, commandeering Matt’s luggage and tugging his hand, leading him into the expansive foyer.

“Wow Hill, slow down.” Matt laughed when he finally regained possession of his arms again. “Are you going to tell me what’s going on that I had to take a full week off of work?”

“Oh it won’t even matter!” Hillary laughed, “You’ll be working here, too, and I guarantee that when you finish the story your editor is going to pay you for every second that you spent here.” She said this with such certainty that Matt’s journalistic instincts were instantly intrigued.

“A story?” Matt raised an eyebrow with dramatic interest. “What kind of a story are we talking about?”

“The kind of story that any other journalist would break your legs to get their hands on!” Hillary was being intentionally obtuse. “We can discuss it later. Right now, let’s grab the rest of your luggage and I’ll show you to your suite. You can unpack while I pester you with questions about everyone back in the city.”

That is exactly what happened. Matt unpacked while Hillary lay on her back on the middle of the queen sized bed, flipping a pillow into the air and catching it, asking him about all the news since she had left the city. There was something so refreshing and restoring about that; they had always been able to talk about anything, and to feel completely at ease, sharing everything. Matt had missed it. Now, as Matt moved about the elegant room Hillary had set aside, she peppered him with questions about their mutual friends, Matt’s family, and the anti-climatic breakup with Matt’s ex-boyfriend that occurred just over four months ago. They had already phoned each other to discuss all of these topics, but there was something to be said about having the conversation in person that made the discussion seem more relevant, more refreshing; more healing.
