“Wow,” Ristalln muttered, coming to a dead stop as soon as he entered the clearing.

“What?” Grahamas asked, knowing that Ristalln had been here before and it was not the environment that had prompted such a reaction out of him.

“Is that her?” he asked, forward gaze unwavering, “I can see why she’s got a hold on you.”

“What are you talking about?” Graham said, looking as well.

Ristalln turned to face him. “That. The look. The same one you got when you talk about her, when I can tell you’re thinking about her.”

Grahamas expressed ignorance, “Is it that obvious?”

Ristalln sighed and nodded with a worried expression, “Aye.”

Graham shrugged it off, looking from her to the rest of the group, first to Lanyan struggling with Gort—who attempted to remove an ivory horn from the outer wall—and the Elf obviously begging him not to. His eyes then finally locked on Samsun, “There he is…”

The Knight’s gaze turned as well, “He really does look like him. Do you have a plan?”

Grahamas tuned his head, roving a gaze all about the canopied clearing. “Lead him out of here. Whoever he is, he’s capable of magick. I don’t want anyone hurt…except for him. I won’t reveal you until we’re clear. Stay close.” Ristalln nodded and Grahamas focused again on the sanctuary, “They’re going back into the chamber. You and Jeralyle wait here.”
