Legal Seduction

Tania grinned. “Yeah, I planned it that way.”

Iris reared back. “What?” she said, louder than she meant to. “Young lady, if you tell me you intentionally got into trouble, I’m going to wring your neck!”

“I’m kidding, I’m kidding! I didn’t plan any of it, promise.”

“What’s going on over here?” Nash wrapped his arm around Iris’s waist and nudged Tania’s shoulder like he often did. “Are you causing trouble?” he asked Tania.

“Nope, just trying to get a rise out of Iris.” She grinned.

“Well, be gentle with her,” Nash said and placed a soft kiss against Iris’s cheek. “I don’t want you to scare her away before she starts the adoption process.”

Tania’s mouth dropped open. “Adoption process?”

Now it was Iris’s and Nash’s turns to grin. “Well, if it’s okay with you, I’d like to adopt you,” Iris said.

Tania looked from Iris to Nash, and then back at Iris. “Yes!” She jumped up and down, then wrapped her arms around both of them. “Then can I call you ‘Mom’?”

Iris hand flew to her chest, trying not to cry. She hadn’t thought that far ahead. Since Nash had legally adopted Tania years ago and she still called him Uncle Nash, Iris hadn’t expected her to call her “Mom.”

“Of course, honey.” Iris kissed the top of her head.

“Hold up,” Nash chimed in. “Why is it that you want to call Iris ‘Mom,’ and you call me ‘Uncle Nash’ and not ‘Dad’?”

Tania thought for a moment and then shrugged. “I’m not sure, but now that you mention it, I think ‘Dad’ has a nice ring to it.”

They all laughed and Nash wrapped his arms around his two favorite women, directing them back to their small wedding party.

Iris whimpered in her sleep and snuggled closer.

Nash stared down at her and ran his fingers through her hair. After several rounds of lovemaking, he didn’t think he would ever get enough of his wife. He still couldn’t believe he was married. Never in a million years would he have thought that he was capable of being someone’s husband, but he was, and he planned to be the best. Iris deserved nothing less.

She stirred next to him and slowly opened her eyes, a smile forming on her inviting lips.

  “Hi.”

“Hi, yourself.” He slid the back of his fingers down her cheek. “Have I mentioned lately that you’re amazing, Counselor?”

“You might have mentioned it a time or two.”

She pushed him back and climbed on top of him. Lately, she had been getting bolder, taking charge in the bedroom, and he had no complaints. From now on, his mission in life was to make sure she was happy and wanted for nothing.

“Have I also mentioned that the women in your life made me promise to be at your beck and call for the duration of our honeymoon?”

She grinned down at him. “No, I don’t think you mentioned that.”

“Well, I’m here for you. Whatever you need.”

She turned serious and stretched out on top of him, her naked body crushed against his. She traced her finger around his lips. “All I want is your love.”
