Marrying My Marshal

“You’ll get me. Promise. Right now I’m going to make sure you know exactly who you married an hour ago.” Adrian quickly got up onto his knees between my open thighs and scooted down my body. His tongue traced the thick trail of hair on my stomach, and when he encountered my red, leaking cock, he didn’t even hesitate. He simply swiped his tongue across the head before he sucked it down.

My hips pushed upward of their own accord, and when Adrian pinned my hips down to the bed, I grabbed the pillow under my head and pulled it out and tossed it. It was in the way, and I knew I was going to want to hold on to the headboard.

“Fuck!” I moaned when Adrian suck my cock completely down and gave my balls a gentle squeeze. That was all it took, and I shouted when I felt my balls tingle moments before my dick pulsed and I spurted my release deep in Adrian’s throat. He quickly pulled off, leaving only the head in his mouth while he greedily sucked down every spurt of come I gave him. Fuck that was so hot.

“We’ll do slow next time,” Adrian told me. It took me a moment to understand what he was saying, but when I felt the cold drizzle of lube running down my balls and then my crack, my brain caught up and I pulled my legs up to my chest and grabbed the backs of my knees.

“Next time is good. I need you in me, now,” I demanded, and I wanted to scream when I felt Adrian’s fingers slowly pushing into me.

“I may be impatient, but I’m not going to hurt you. I have lots of plans for this evening and we will only be able to do half of them if you’re too sore to do this again.”

I could only moan when Adrian gently rubbed my prostate just then, and when I was a panting mess again, he pulled his fingers from me and wrapped them around my thighs and gave me a good yank. He rolled his hips a few times, rubbing his cock against my hole and balls before I felt the thick head push at my loosened hole. When it popped through the tight ring, we both sighed. My sigh turned to a gasp when Adrian pushed all the way in quickly and stayed there.

“I’m not going to be completely gentle. Even if we’re consummating our marriage, I still know what you like most, and I plan on giving it to you. Today and every day you’ll let me. Even when we’re both old and need little blue pills, I’m still going to pound into you,” Adrian said with a devious look on his face. I couldn’t help it; I laughed. But my laugh was short-lived when Adrian fell forward onto me and pulled his hips back before he pushed pack into me.

Oh fuck yeah. I was…yes. I moaned, whimpered, and begged as Adrian set an uneven yet intense pace. I tossed my head from side to side and panted while he powered into me over and over again. When I felt my balls tingle again, I shouted as I sprayed our stomachs with my second orgasm.

Adrian grunted before he leaned down and bit my shoulder and pushed in as hard as he could.

“Ungh, fuck, oh fuck,” he said as I felt a flood of warmth before I felt his cock pulse hard inside me. Fuck that was so damn hot. I’d never get tired of that feeling, ever. I reached down and grabbed Adrian’s ass and pulled him as tight to me as I could, wanting to feel every bit of him as possible.

“I love you,” I panted before I moaned again when his cock once again flexed inside me and bumped my very sensitive prostate.

“I love you too. I promise next time will be better.”

I laughed as I let go of his ass and pushed gently on his shoulders. Adrian just grunted and relaxed a bit more on top of me, causing me to laugh harder.

“Apparently you’re not aware of how big the mess on our stomachs is. And it was my second orgasm because you’re just that good. Trust me, you have nothing to be worried about; you can definitely please me, okay?”

I felt Adrian nod into my neck before he pushed up and rested on his bent arms. “I love you. Thank you for saying yes.”

“Love you too. I’m only sorry I was such an ass and didn’t say yes sooner.”

“Doesn’t matter. You were already mine, and that is all that really matters.” Adrian leaned down and gave me a gentle kiss. When I rolled us to the side, I felt the mess on my stomach start to run, and I cringed.

“Okay, I need a towel or we’re going to be changing sheets.”

“Sweetheart, we have to change the sheets anyway. There’s lube and definitely some of my mess on the bed,” Adrian said before he laughed and rolled away. When he tugged on my arm, I thought again how I’d once been concerned about our age difference. It was stupid on my part because Adrian could most definitely keep up with me. In fact, he usually had more energy than I did, which was completely unfair.

I slid out of bed and followed my new husband into the bathroom where we both got into a steaming shower and washed the mess from our bodies. By the time we were both clean, we were hard again and it was my turn to repay the favor and get my dessert. I was certainly not going to complain being married to my marshal. Then again, I’d never had any complaints about dating him either.

I would never admit it, and if asked, I’d firmly deny it, but damn I was too old for weekend-long sex sessions. I lost count how many orgasms Cody and I had, but I knew he’d had several more than me—which was exactly what I wanted. But fuck was I sore.

I groaned when the alarm went off again, and when Cody slapped his phone back onto the nightstand, I wanted to cry when he crawled out of bed. I hated this part of his job. Not only did I dislike the fact that he was on the roads before the sun came up, but he left too early for a job he wasn’t overly fond of. I rolled toward the bathroom, and when the light came on, I saw that the door was almost completely closed. I appreciated the fact that Cody always tried his best to not wake me when he got up, but most days, I woke the moment his alarm went off.

I got up and after I pulled on a pair of sweats that I’d thrown on the foot of the bed the night before, I left the bedroom and went to the kitchen to make coffee. It had just finished brewing when Cody came out of the bedroom fully dressed.

“Why didn’t you stay in bed? There’s no need for you to be up this early.”

“You’re up, so I’ll get up. It’s not like I can sleep after you’ve left anyway,” I said as I poured a large travel mug of coffee for Cody. He grabbed the creamer from the fridge and added it to the mug before screwing the lid on. I stood there and watched him, wondering what he was thinking.

“You know you don’t have to go to work, right? I’m not saying you need to become a househusband or anything, but I also know you don’t like your job all that much.”

Cody sighed before he shrugged. “It’s a job. One day I’ll get to go to college. Until then, it’s a job and pays my bills. I’ll see you later when you get home. Have a good day at work.”

When Cody tried to give me a quick kiss and run off, I stopped him and pulled him into my arms.

  “Hey, what’s wrong?”

“Nothing. I need to go though or I’ll be late.”

“Sweetheart, they won’t care if you’re a few minutes late. Can I at least have a real kiss?”

Cody smiled before I got my kiss, and then he was gone. He’d said there wasn’t anything wrong, but I knew better. There was definitely something bothering my hubby, and I needed to figure out what. It would of course be easier if he’d just tell me, but chances of that happening were probably slim.

Once the taillights of Cody’s truck disappeared down our driveway, I went back to our bedroom to get ready for my own day. I’d started going in super early, which meant I got to come home to Cody earlier, something I certainly enjoyed.

Once I was showered—because there was no other way to fix my hair—and then dressed, I sat down at the kitchen table and drank my own cup of coffee and ate my breakfast. I tried to think about what could possibly be bothering my husband this morning when only a few hours beforehand, he had seemed just fine as he’d pounded into me and made me come all over the shower wall as he pegged my prostate. Damn I loved having a younger, energetic husband.

Not really getting anywhere with my
thoughts except that it was possible it was nothing more than Cody being as tired as I was, I got up and rinsed my dishes, then placed them in the dishwasher and left for the office.

It was still dark when I left, and if I could get Cody to find something else or quit altogether, neither of us would be leaving at such an ungodly hour. There were only a few vehicles in the parking lot when I pulled in, and after I’d gone through the security checkpoint at the door, I went to our offices on the second floor. I preferred our off-site location more, but the building needed major renovations and we couldn’t work there while it was a construction zone, so we’d been temporarily moved to the courthouse building.

I wasn’t the first in the office though, and when I saw the light on in Director Woods’s office, I shook my head and wondered why he would be here so damn early. Once I was at my desk and had my computer booted up, I sent Cody a quick text before pulling up the paperwork I’d need to file with HR, letting them know my marital status had changed.

That got me thinking about the fact that we were married. Cody was my husband now, and I wanted him to take my last name. Cody Fisher had a nice ring to it, and I wondered if Cody would be willing to take my last name or not. It would require a shit ton more paperwork, but it would be worth it for sure.

Me: Hey. What do you think about taking my last name? I like the sound of Cody Fisher.

Figuring I wasn’t going to get an answer anytime soon, I pulled up the form I needed and started filling it out. I was about halfway through it when my phone vibrated on my desk, and I smiled at Cody’s response.

Cody: Sounds great. How do we do that?

Me: Just apply for a name change like any other marriage. I’ll run down and ask the clerk to put that change in for us. Maybe Phyllis will make it super easy on us.

  Me: You doing okay?

Cody: Yeah, just busy. Gotta go. Love you.

  Me: Love you back.

I sat my phone back down on my desk and finished filling out the paperwork. Once it was printed, I grabbed it off the printer that I shared with several other marshals. I certainly wasn’t going to hide my marriage, but I didn’t want to announce it that way. I’d let everyone know later. Like when they noticed my ring or something.

I got to work and pulled up my current case file and became so engrossed in it, I didn’t realize the office had slowly filled while I was busy reading. When I looked up and around, several of the deputies were here, and a quick glance at the clock on my computer told me that HR would be in and I could give them my paperwork.

Me: I’m turning in the paperwork. Okay?

  Cody: Sure.

That was good enough for me, so I picked up the forms and headed out of the office and down the hallway. I met Bishop along the way.

“Hey, how was your weekend? I didn’t hear from you at all.”

“Cody and I were busy. I thought you and Xander had plans.”

“We did, but he got called out to a ranch and spent most of it in the middle of a pasture. Where are you going?”

“HR. I need to drop off these forms and have them update my file,” I said as I continued down the hall and entered the office I needed. Once that was taken care of and they assured me that they’d get everything updated and I’d be receiving an email from them soon, I left the office and ran into a wall that was better known as my partner.

  “You’re still here?”

“Yeah. Everything okay?” Bishop asked as we walked down the hallway and back into our own office. I headed toward Alex and Kirk’s office, wondering if they had any new news regarding their case.

“Fine. Cody and I got married this weekend and I needed to update everything. I still have to fill out the insurance forms, but they said they’d email them to me.”

“Wait, what? You got married? Seriously?”

I stopped when Bishop grabbed my bicep and turned me around.

“Yeah. We got married on Saturday morning. It was unexpected and we didn’t invite anyone,” I told him before I continued to Alex and Kirk’s office.

“I can’t believe you got married over the weekend and didn’t invite me. That’s fucked-up. We’re partners. You’re supposed to invite me to your wedding!” Bishop shouted behind me just as I entered their office. I winced and looked at Bishop and glared.

“I’ve already told you it was a spur-of-the-moment thing. Hell, I don’t even know if I’m going to still be married by the end of the day. We had an amazing weekend together, and now Cody is acting all weird. I really don’t need you bitching at me this morning about this.”

I knew it was pointless to argue. I understood Bishop’s point, and I was already planning on getting reamed a new one by Emme when I told her, but I really just wanted to go home and spend a few days shutting out the world and just being with my husband.

Deciding it would be better if I did just that, I fired off an email to Director Woods before I sent a fuming Bishop an apologetic look and turned off my computer. I’d be back in tomorrow to finish paperwork, but I was going to take a few days off and spend them with Cody.

“I’ll explain later, but right now I need to get to Cody and see if I can find out what’s wrong. You have to understand, when he said he’d do it, I jumped at the chance because it’s what I’ve wanted for so long. We didn’t invite anyone. At all.”

Bishop gave me a curt nod, and I sighed, wondering how long he’d be pissed. I was more worried about Cody though, so I grabbed my stuff and left the office.

It took entirely too long to reach Knotty Springs, but when I did, I wished even more so that we’d both stayed in bed this morning.

“What do you mean you’re married. That’s just…no. You two can’t get married. Not before me. That’s not fair,” I heard Hawke screech in the kitchen as I approached. What the actual fuck? I heard Cody’s voice reply in a much lower tone, but I couldn’t make out what he was saying. When I looked over at Emme, I was met with the cold, hard glare she’d perfected over the years. I called that her mommy look. One look like that and both of her kids immediately behaved.

“I’m not quite as upset as Hawke, but I don’t think I’ll ever forgive you for not inviting me to your wedding. How could you, AJ?” Emme stomped her foot at me for good measure, and I simply rolled my eyes at her. I loved my sister. Adored her even. But nope. No wonder Cody was giving short replies to my messages.

“Fine. Don’t forgive me. While you’re at it, you can do all the shit you assigned me to do for your wedding,” I said as I pushed open the kitchen door and marched directly to my husband. “Come on, we’re leaving. We have a honeymoon waiting for us. Hawke, deal. Not everything revolves around crazy, insane weddings. We wanted simple, we got simple. We’re just as married as you and Trace will be. But we didn’t want anything big or fussy. We’re happy and it would be nice if you were happy for one of your oldest and closest friends. Same goes for you, Emme. You’re both getting the weddings you want—why can’t we?” I asked as I looked first at Hawke and then glanced over my shoulder and looked at my sister.

Cody sighed and gave my hand a squeeze. “Can we just go?”

“Yes, sweetheart,” I said, looking directly at him. “We’ll be going now. Have fun,” I said to a very stunned Hawke. I grabbed Cody’s wrist and pulled him from the kitchen, and when we got to an equally stunned Emme, I just walked past her when she tried to get in the way and stop us. “He’s quitting, so you’d better find a replacement,” I said over my shoulder. Enough was enough. I wanted more for Cody—hell, Cody wanted more—so my husband would be going to college next term, and that was that.

When we reached the parking area, I stopped and pulled Cody into my arms. When I buried my face in his hair, he smelled like too many things, and I growled in frustration. That’s not what he was supposed to smell like.

  “What was that?”

“That was me making plans for my husband. You need to take some time off from here and spend it relaxing at home while you search for degree progr
ams. I want you to go to college. I know it’s what you’ve wanted to do, and you’ve put it off long enough. I can more than cover all of the bills, and you know it. This is what will make you happy, and I want that more than anything because I love you.” I ran a finger down the side of Cody’s face and looked into his dark brown eyes.

“I really want that. I want to be a teacher, but I know the pay is shit. But I want to work with teenagers and be the kind of teacher I needed when I was their age.”

“Then do that. I just want you happy. And dealing with crazy brides who can’t be happy because they weren’t invited or they didn’t get married first isn’t going to make anyone happy. Ever.”

Cody kissed my neck before he started laughing. When he continued to do so, I stood there and waited. When he finally pulled away, he had to wipe his eyes.

“You called Hawke a bride. That’s so damn funny because it’s kinda true. I mean, he’s wearing a tux, but he’s definitely acting like a bride.”

“Shh, don’t tell him. What do you say we go home and order pizza later? We’ll spend the rest of the day napping and doing nothing.”

Cody looked at me and gave me a beaming smile. “I say that sounds like the perfect start to our honeymoon. I love you, Adrian. Thank you for rescuing me.”

“Love you back. Now, let’s go before the shock wears off and they come after us,” I said, causing Cody to laugh again. After a lingering kiss that I promised to follow through on later, we both climbed into our vehicles and headed home.

It was an amazing feeling to be going home with my husband. I couldn’t wait to be doing that same thing years from now.

  About the Author

Thank you so much for reading Marrying My Marshal. I hope you enjoyed Adrian’s and Cody’s ‘I do’s’. Not every couple needs or wants a big wedding, and for these two, that didn’t really fit. There’s one more musketeer left to go and although I’ll get to him, I don’t know when. Sometime next year though.
