As she stared down at the hapless creature, she thought of the gold broach pin her father bought for her. “They are beautiful, aren’t they? So vibrant and fragile. No wonder my father liked them.

“Yes and he loved you, too. And, so do I.”

Sandra thought of the creature pent up in a glass aquarium. Then she envisioned the sea star blending into the mosaic of a coral reef. She didn’t have to think twice. Her mind was made up.

“Let’s take him out to sea. Everything needs its own space to grow.”

“Yes, indeed it does,” Luke agreed with a smile

  Author's Note

Thank you for purchasing and reading the Sea Star Legacy. Goals are rarely achieved without the help of others. A writer's story is nothing more than pen to paper until a reader takes the time to read the tale. I am honored to have been allowed the privilege.

Look for my second novel in the Leap of Faith series entitled Wild Hearts coming out in July 2018. You will meet Jake Clayton, a rugged cowboy struggling financially to keep his family's land in Oklahoma. Through a synchronistic chance of fate he is awarded a five year grant to care for the wild horses who were not adopted through the Bureau of Land Management. When the mustangs arrive at the Double C ranch, Jake is certain everything will work out the way he has planned. He didn't plan for Sam C. O'Neal, a spit fire of a woman sent from the Bureau to supervise the mustangs' care and adjustment on the ranch, however.

I would enjoy hearing from you. If you have a question or comment, look for me on Facebook and check out my website at carolynforrest.wix.com/romance.

  All the best.
