HUNTLEY FITZPATRICK always wanted to be a writer, ever since growing up in a small, coastal Connecticut town much like the Stony Bay of her novels. After college she worked in many fields, including academic publishing and as an editor at Harlequin. Her debut novel, My Life Next Door, was a RITA Award finalist, a YALSA Best Fiction for Young Adults title, and was picked as one of the best YA novels of 2012 by Barnes & Noble and The Atlantic Wire. Her second novel, What I Thought was True, was, like the first, highly praised and published around the world. Huntley currently lives in South Dartmouth, MA, where she is a full-time writer, wife, and mom to six children. Visit her online at www.huntleyfitzpatrick.com.
