CHAPTER 15
Taylor reached for her phone that was dancing around the top of the night table. She looked at the screen and climbed out of bed going into the bathroom so she wouldn’t wake Jessica. “Pete, what’s wrong?”
“The software is flaking out. It gets to a point and then the screen goes blank.” He let out a strangled growl. “Can you come in?”
Taylor opened the bedroom door and peeked at the sleeping woman there before closing the door and answered him, “Give me an hour.” She took her shower and went into the kitchen to make a pot of coffee. As she passed the bed, she stood watching Jessica curled up in the middle of the bed sound asleep. As the coffee dripped, she thought about their conversation last night. After making love for hours, both of their stomachs began to growl. While they heated up the cold hamburgers and fries, Taylor asked, “Now that we don’t have to talk about work, can I ask some personal questions?”
“Of course,” Jessica answered smiling, but wondered what Taylor was going to ask.
“Have you ever been in a long-term relationship?” Taylor’s eyes drifted to the floor.
“Yes. We were together for three years. At the end, we both knew it was time to end it.”
“What happened?”
“Nothing really. I think we were both happy to have someone stable in our lives and that was all we saw. The first year we couldn’t get enough of each other, but by the second year…” Jessica shrugged and pursed her lips, “we slept in the same bed, but rarely touched each other. By the third year, Robin had moved into the spare room saying I kept her from getting a good night’s sleep.” Her eyes met the crystal blue eyes. “What about you?”
“I was with my college roommate all through school. When we graduated, she went home and I did too. I think we both knew it wasn’t serious.” Taylor wiped at her eye. “I was more invested in the relationship than she was.”
“How about since then?” Jessica asked pressing.
“No. I’ve dated a lot of women. Some only lasted one date, a few stayed for a while, but my work habits ended those relationships. I was starting a new business and worked too many hours.”
“Are you still like that?” Jessica asked worried that their relationship would fail before it could begin.
“Not lately. I leave work at a decent hour and try not to bring my work home with me.” Taylor reached over the snack bar and took Jessica’s hand. “I want a life, Jess. I don’t want my life to revolve around work, but if you feel I am ignoring you, please let me know.”
Jessica was now smiling and leaned over and kissed Taylor’s mouth softly. The food was almost forgotten as the need to be with each other again almost won out.
Taylor poured her coffee into a travel mug and walked toward the bedroom. She couldn’t believe that she was breaking her word and going to work on a Saturday morning. The sight of Jessica sleeping broke her heart. She should be lying next to her and having breakfast together when they woke up. Her hand came down on Jessica’s arm and she kissed her shoulder.
The dark eyes fluttered open and looked at her. “Is something wrong?” she asked seeing Taylor dressed.
“I have to go into work and take care of a problem.” Jessica began to throw off the covers. “No stay and get some more sleep.”
“That’s okay. I’ve got things to do today too,” she said, not meeting the blue eyes.
“Maybe we can have lunch together?”
Jessica now began to smile. “You’ll be done by lunchtime?”
“I should.” I hope.
“Come to my place and I’ll make us lunch.”
“I’d like that. Just lock the door on your way out.” Taylor now captured Jessica’s lips and kissed her soundly.
“If you don’t stop that, I won’t let you out of here.”
Taylor laughed and stood up. “There’s fresh coffee in the kitchen and help yourself to anything you want.” Another kiss and she was gone.
Taylor and Pete worked all through the morning trying to find the bug in the system to make the software work, but had yet to find it. She looked at her watch for the first time and saw it was twelve-thirty. Grabbing her phone, she called Jessica. “Hi.”
“Are you on your way?” Jessica asked apprehensively.
“No. I’m still here. We can’t find the problem.”
“That’s okay. Why don’t you call me when you are on the way?”
“I will. I’m sorry, Jess. I really didn’t want to leave you this morning.”
“I know, and I certainly didn’t want you to leave either.” Her laugh sounded strangled.
“I’ll see you later.”
*
Taylor left the office with Peter at almost midnight. They finally got the software to work and shared a celebratory pizza together. Before she left the office, she sent Jessica an apology text.
I am so sorry. Just leaving the office and heading home. Can I call you tomorrow? I want to say it won’t happen again, but I refuse to lie to you so early in what I hoped would be a long-term relationship. Good night.
Taylor had hoped that Jessica would answer her text, but the closer she got to home, she knew she had screwed up. She immediately went into her bedroom to change clothes. A smile crossed her face as she noticed that Jessica had made the bed before she left. Picking up the pillow she had slept on, she put it to her nose and breathed in her scent. “You really blew this one, didn’t you?” The room didn’t answer her and she stripped off her clothes and put on a pair of sweats. Pulling up the sleeves to her elbows, she walked into the kitchen and poured a glass of wine. Leaning against the countertop, she drank the dark liquid and then swirled the remaining wine in the glass. Taylor was so lost in her thoughts that when the doorbell rang, she nearly dropped the glass on the floor. She stood in the kitchen without moving. It’s almost one o’clock in the morning and the thought of answering the door made her break out in a sweat. Her phone vibrated on the kitchen counter which made her jump again. “Are you there?” the text asked. A grin now appeared, but her heart was still pounding. Walking to the door, she peeked through the peep hole. “You scared the crap out of me,” she said opening the door.
“Sorry.” Jessica watched as Taylor stood in the doorway. “May I come inside?”
“Yes, sorry.” She stepped to the side and opened the door fully. “Are you mad at me?”
Jessica nodded her head. “I was, but then I thought about it. I could stay angry with you or forgive you for standing me up today.”
“I hope you will forgive me.” She moved a little closer to Jessica. “I am so sorry.”
“I know you are, but you are going to be punished for standing me up.” Jessica reached into her large purse.
As each item came out of the purse, Taylor’s eyes opened wide. She was caught between fear and utter arousal. There were scarves lying on the floor, a small ostrich tickler and something else that she hid from Taylor. “I hope you don’t have whips and chains in there?” she swallowed hard as she asked, but all Jessica did was smile.
Jessica picked up the things from the floor and walked toward the bedroom. She turned before she disappeared with a come-hither look. Taylor was a little scared, but she followed close behind her lover. As they reached the bedroom, Jessica began to remove Taylor’s clothes. Standing there naked, Taylor hoped Jessica would kiss her, touch her. Do something. Instead Jessica ordered Taylor to lay on the bed. She did as she was told and Jessica now began to tie her arms and legs to the bed. Taylor felt exposed as she was spread eagle on the mattress while Jessica stood there fully clothed.
“Comfortable?” Jessica asked as she moved close to Taylor’s head.
“Yes,” Taylor answered with a hard swallow. “What are you going to do?”
Jessica laughed. “Patience, love. Patience.” She now draped a soft cloth over Taylor’s eyes. Watching as Taylor’s chest rose with uneven breathing, she licked her dry lips. “Relax, babe.”
“I can’t when I don’t know what
you are going to do to me.”
Jessica’s lips were now close to Taylor’s ear. “I won’t hurt you, Taylor. You can trust me. Just relax and enjoy.”
“I’ll try.” Taylor could sense Jessica walking around the bed and hoped she was at least taking off her clothes. She felt a feather-like touch and knew that Jessica was using the ostrich tickler. Her skin twitched under the touch of the feathers as they trailed up and down her body.
“Do you like that?” Jessica asked almost teasing.
“Yes.” Then she felt a slight pain as what she assumed was the other end of the tickler. Her body lifted off the bed and waited for another strike, but it never came. Now she felt Jessica’s fingers as they trailed between her breasts, but never made contact where she wanted her. She knew her nipples were straining for touch, but instead Jessica moved her fingers over her stomach. Touch me, she begged, but the words never left her mouth. She was afraid if she voiced her need, Jessica would make her wait even longer. The tickler was back, but this time it trailed up the inside of her leg. Yes. As she reached her apex, it floated gently over her soft curls in a teasing touch, but with not enough contact. Her hips automatically came off the bed trying to find some type of contact, but again Jessica moved away. The tickler was now going up and down an arm until it went under her chin and onto her face. Taylor knew that Jessica was punishing her for her actions today, but she also knew everything she was doing was increasing her arousal.
“Do you want more?” Jessica asked with laugh.
“Yes,” she said almost breathless. Instead of a hand or fingers, another light smack hit her skin. “Do you want me to hit you harder?”
“No,” she answered and wondered if that was the wrong answer.
“Who is in charge right now?”
“You are,” Taylor answered with a moan.
“Are you going to give me whatever I want?”
“Yes. Anything, but please touch me.” The words finally escaped her mouth and she wondered if she had blown it. “I mean if you want to,” she added, hoping that would keep Jessica here.
“Do you think I want to touch you?” Jessica asked with a devilish laugh.
“Yes,” she answered with determination. As the words left her mouth, Jessica’s palm was on her breast. She pulled on the extended bud twisting and pulling. As she did this, Taylor was moaning.
“More?” Jessica asked in a whisper in her ear.
“Yes. More.” Taylor sensed she was close and when their lips finally touched she opened her mouth and sought out Jessica’s tongue. They kissed deep and hard until Taylor felt she was on the edge of climax, but then Jessica pulled away.
“I know you’re close, but you can’t come yet.” Her words prompted a strangled groan from Taylor. Jessica’s laughter filled the room as her hand traveled up the inside of her leg.
“Yes,” she said almost humming in appreciation. Taylor felt her feather touches over her soft curls, but she never pressed harder or went where Taylor needed her the most. “God, Jess, you’re driving me insane.”
“Good. That’s what I want from you. I want you to want me and no one else.”
“I want that too, Jess.” As she said this Jessica touched her folds and lightly touched her clit. Taylor would have agreed to anything at this point just to feel Jessica touching her. The mattress dipped and she hoped Jessica would lay down on her body, but instead she felt her next to her.
“You are only allowed to call me J when we are in bed together. Do you understand?”
“Yes, J,” she said with a smile.
“Do you want more?” Jessica asked as her hand glided over her torso.
“Yes, please,” Taylor begged and felt the mattress shift again. She thought Jessica was going to lay on her body, but instead another sense took over as she breathed in Jessica’s arousal in her face. “Thank, God,” she mumbled before her tongue came out and tasted her sweet nectar. Jessica’s hips were moving closer to her face and Taylor waited for her to reciprocate. But her pleasure came only from what she was doing to Jessica. She licked and sucked as if she was starving and her need couldn’t be sated. Taylor felt Jessica was close, so she worked the scarf to release her hand and brought her fingers up and entered her with two fingers. The moment she did that, Jessica began to shudder over her. Convulsing, Jessica’s face went to Taylor’s core and she took her with the same hunger that Taylor had done to her just moments before. Her body began to shake and she came with the most powerful orgasm she had ever had in her entire life. She screamed Jessica’s name over and over again until her body began to come off the pleasurable high. “God, J. I think you broke me. Seriously broke me.” A giggle was heard over her lower half. “If that’s what you call punishment, I want that every day of my life.”
Jessica climbed off Taylor and crawled up her body until their lips met in a deep kiss. As her lips captured Taylor, she released her other hand from the scarf. The moment she did, Taylor’s arms captured her in a fierce hug. Taylor now rolled them over so Jessica was under her. “I’d like to say I’m going to torture you now, but I need you too much.” Her hands immediately went to Jessica’s breasts. Having slipped her legs out from the scarves, she spread her wide so she fit in the v of her legs. “I want you so much, Jess.”
“I want you too, Taylor.”
For the rest of the night, the two women made up for time lost that day.
CHAPTER 16
Jessica rolled over reaching for Taylor only to find her side of the bed empty. Sitting up she said, “She left me again.”
“No I didn’t,” a voice called from the hallway. Taylor walked in carrying a tray. “I just thought you might like some breakfast.” She laid the tray across Jessica’s legs.
“Is this all for me?” she asked grinning.
“Unless you don’t want to share.” Taylor got under the covers on the other side of the bed and moved next to her.
Jessica handed her a cup of coffee and took a sip from her own cup. “This is nice.”
“I had to make up for leaving you yesterday.” Taylor placed her cup on the night table and reached for one of the plates on the tray. “Dig in,” she said motioning for Jessica to eat.
Their stomachs were filled and Taylor got out of bed to take the tray. She picked it up and laid it on the dresser. Before she got back in bed she took off the long T-shirt she was wearing. “Are you ready for dessert?” Taylor asked with a grin.
“You bet I am.” Her eyes were filled with desire and hunger. She reached out her arms.
It was only hunger that drove the women from the bed later that afternoon. Their lovemaking was just as passionate as it had been the night before, but this time there was no need for bondage. They both wanted to use their hands to touch the other. Taylor laid there, staring up at the ceiling after their last go around and wondered could it always be this way with Jessica. Would Jessica want her for more than just a love affair?
“Where did you go?” Jessica asked with her hand on Taylor’s arm.
“Just thinking. Sorry.” Taylor looked at Jessica and smiled.
“Is everything all right?”
“Wonderful. Never better.”
“Oh yeah?” Jessica asked looking down into the crystal blue eyes.
Taylor reached up and pulled Jessica’s mouth down to hers. After they broke apart, Jessica buried her head in Taylor’s shoulder and sighed. “Why the sigh?”
“You know I have to leave here tonight,” she said showing how much she was dreading their time ending.
“We’ve got plenty of time left,” Taylor said pulling the woman onto her. “Plenty of time.”
CHAPTER 17
Taylor had a hard time keeping her mind on work. She stared at the computer screen never seeing the words. Her mind drifted back to the best weekend she had ever had in her life. Jessica’s touch had taken her to places she never dreamed of and her mouth had played her as if she were a violin.
“Taylor, are you all right?” Kay asked sta
nding in front of her desk.
“Oh, Kay. I never heard you come in.”
“I could tell. Where were you?” Kay asked and watched as a blush touched Taylor’s face. “Never mind, I already know.” She took a seat. “So, it’s going well with Jess?”
“Oh, Kay. I’m so in love with her,” she said as if she were singing a love song.
“Really? Isn’t it more like lust?” Kay didn’t believe that her friend could fall in love with someone so easily.
“You doubt my feelings?” Taylor now had her arms crossed in determination.
“Honey, you haven’t known her that long.” Kay sighed. “I know physically you two are a match, but love?”
“I know her long enough to know what I want. She’s everything I’ve been waiting for. I’m not some teenager that falls in love easily.”
“I know that, Taylor, but don’t scare her away.”
“You think I would scare her away?”
