“Of course, she loves the water.”
“How about it?” Taylor asked Jessica.
“Yes,” Jessica answered still feeling sticky from the humidity outside.
“Come with me Taylor while I change. This way you can watch the baby.”
Taylor knew her sister wanted to get her alone so they could talk, but she played along. “Sure. Honey, go get changed and I’ll be there in a few minutes.”
The women each went off to a different bedroom. “What did you want to talk about?” Taylor asked taking Rose from her sister.
“She’s very pretty,” she said as she began to unbutton her shirt.
“Yes and…?”
“And nothing. I like her.”
“Really?”
“Of course, she is with you, but there is no accounting for her taste,” she said laughing.
“Gee thanks.”
Karen walked over to her sister and rested her hands on her arms that held her child. “I’m only teasing you. I told you, I like her. She’ll keep you in line.” Her tongue came out taunting Taylor. Karen took the baby from Taylor and laid her in the middle of the bed. “Go get changed.”
Taylor walked toward the door and hesitated before opening the door. “Wait until you see her in a suit,” she said returning the tongue taunt. Taylor walked into the bedroom and saw a naked Jessica searching the drawers. She came up behind her and wrapped her arms around her.
“I can’t find my one-piece suit,” she said still moving things around in the drawer.
“I didn’t bring it.” Taylor was now kissing the back of her neck.
Flipping her body around, she looked into Taylor’s eyes. “You expect me to wear a two-piece suit in front of your parents?”
Taylor dropped her arms. “Honey, you have a fantastic body. Besides, I brought you a modest two-piece.”
While Jessica slipped into the two-piece, she watched Taylor put on a one- piece suit. “I see you brought a one-piece for yourself,” she said shaking her head. Jessica slipped a t-shirt on over the suit as they left the bedroom.
The moment Taylor opened the patio door leading to the pool, a grumble left Jessica’s mouth. “My god, Taylor. It’s hotter than it was earlier.” She tore off the t-shirt and jumped into the deep end of pool. When she surfaced, a loud groan left her mouth. “The water feels like bath water. It’s barely cooler than the air.”
Taylor’s response was to laugh and walk into the water and over to Jessica. They now saw Karen open the patio door and sit on the edge of the pool. “Where is the baby?” Taylor asked keeping all of her body under the water except her head.
“Mom said it’s too hot for the baby.”
“It’s too hot for adults too,” Jessica said diving under the water again.
The two sisters laughed as they watched Jessica looking for relief under the deep end of the pool. After a half hour, Jessica had had enough.
“Let’s go take a shower in the pool house,” Taylor suggested.
“Is it air-conditioned?” Jessica asked as she walked to the edge of the pool and lifted herself out of the water.
“Yes, honey.” Taylor moved to the ladder and climbed out.
“Didn’t know you were a wimp, Jessica,” Karen said as she laid on a lounge chair.
“I didn’t either,” Jessica answered chuckling.
Taylor took her hand and led her to the door of the pool house. Over their shoulder, Karen shouted, “Don’t stay in there forever.” Her laugh followed them into the pool house.
“This feels better,” Jessica said feeling the cool air against her skin the moment into the large pool house. She suddenly pushed Taylor against the wall and kissed her thoroughly. “So much better,” she mumbled against Taylor’s mouth as her hands began to peel her bathing suit down. Once the suit hit Taylor’s knees, she pushed it to the floor with her foot.
“Fuck me, J. Fuck me hard,” she said as Jessica’s mouth captured her lips again.
Jessica needed no other invitation. Her hand went to her core as Taylor raised her right leg giving Jessica better access to her body. Taylor’s body was banging against the wall as Jessica followed her instructions to fuck her hard. “My god, J. That feels so good. Don’t stop.”
“Never, baby.”
Before Taylor reached her peak, she moved her hand so she was touching Jessica’s clit. Within seconds they both came hard. If Jessica did not have a strong hold on Taylor’s waist, she would have crumpled to the floor. Their eyes now met and they couldn’t help but laugh.
“Do you think your sister heard us?” Jessica asked pulling Taylor close to her body.
“I don’t care because it was worth it, Jess.”
CHAPTER 34
The moment the two women took their seats on the plane ride home, Jessica fell asleep. The last few nights at her parents’ house were spent making love. It helped that their bedroom was on the opposite side of the house allowing them the privacy they craved. Even after the plane touched down, Taylor had to shake Jessica awake. “Time to go home, baby.”
Jessica looked at Taylor and stretched her arms. “Good. I can sleep in my own bed.”
The rest of the trip to Florida had been filled with conversation and laughter. The family fell in love with Jessica as Taylor had, and they made plans to come back at Christmas.
Taylor’s new software was now in the hands of the firm where Jessica worked. “Did I tell you how happy I am?” Taylor asked as Jessica came into the apartment at the end of day.
Jessica grinned. “You may have said that once or twice, but not today.” She pulled Taylor to her body and kissed her deeply. When their lips separated, Jessica said, “I’m so happy too, T. I can’t imagine my life without you in it.”
Dinner was forgotten as the two women ended up in their bed making love most of the night.
Jessica’s cellphone rang the following day. “Hi, April,” she said answering the call.
“You two have hibernated long enough. Let’s go have dinner Saturday night and then go to the bar.”
“I’ll talk to Taylor and see if she’s up for it,” Jessica answered.
“Ann is calling her right now. We miss spending time with you both.”
Jessica chuckled. “Okay. Okay. I’ll speak with Taylor tonight and call you Saturday morning.”
“Good. You better.”
*
“Did you get a call from Ann today?” Jessica asked when Taylor walked in the door.
“Yes. We’ve been ordered to spend Saturday evening with them,” she said laughing before she kissed Jessica’s lips softly. “I guess we have been keeping to ourselves.”
“I haven’t minded,” Jessica said stealing another kiss.
Walking into the restaurant, Ann waved to the two women as they approached the table. “Hello, strangers,” Ann said as she hugged Taylor and Jessica.
“We remember you two hiding from the outside world not that long ago,” Jessica said taking her seat. They all laughed and then her mouth fell open. “What’s that?” she asked pointing to Ann’s finger.
“What does it look like?” Ann said smiling.
“Is that an engagement ring?” Taylor asked grabbing Ann’s hand.
“Yes. April asked me to marry her last Sunday,” Ann answered looking at her lover.
Hugs were shared again. “I’m so happy for you, Ann,” Taylor said again taking her seat. “When are you getting married?”
Ann took April’s hand. “We haven’t decided on a date yet, but I want you to stand up with me.”
“I want you to stand up with me too, Jess,” April added.
“Of course,” the women answered in unison. “Just tell us when and we will be there.”
EPILOGUE
Taylor walked into the apartment Friday night and saw the table set for two with candles. Walking over to the table, she smiled. “What’s the occasion?” she asked Jessica when she walked into the room.
Jessica wrapped her arms loosely aro
und the woman she loved. “We met a year ago, Taylor.”
“Are you sure it’s today?” Taylor asked holding onto Jessica, knowing it was on her birthday that they met.
“Yes, I’ll never forget that day.” She released Taylor from her hold and dropped to the floor on one knee. “This last year has been the best year of my life, Taylor. I know I almost blew it, but I couldn’t be happier that you forgave me. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, Taylor. Would you do me the honor of becoming my wife?” She reached into her pocket and pulled out a ring.
“Yes, Jess. I want nothing more than to spend the rest of my life loving you.” Jessica smiled and slipped the ring on Taylor’s finger. “It’s beautiful, but not as beautiful as you, J.”
“I love when you call me J,” she said kissing Taylor deeply. “I thought of taking you to the club to re-enact our first night together.”
“I don’t need the club, Jess.” She smiled warmly. “I just need you.” Her hands pulled Jessica to her body. “I just need you because we will always be bound together by our love.”
“I love you so much, Taylor.”
Dinner would have to wait because all the women cared about was sharing the love they had for each other. Slowly they got up from the floor and walked arm and arm to their bedroom. Yes, they were truly bound together for the rest of their lives.
