Surrender to Me
Page 15
I know this already, though, because room 1530 is the last room on the fucking floor. I’ve knocked on every damn one of the others; gotten called a pervert twice, had to sign autographs once, scared two housekeepers, and had one guy hit on me. I am so beyond ready for her to open the damn door; I pound on it so hard I think it might break, but she still doesn’t answer. When I hear my phone I’m almost scared to look at it.
Becca: You’re cheating…and cheaters never win
Me: If you don’t open this damn door Becca I’ll break it down and fuck you while they are putting a new one on.
After a few seconds I hear the deadbolt turn and the door opens a crack. I can’t wait for her anymore and shove it open the rest of the way myself. She’s standing there, covered only in black lace. It looks like a bra at first, pushing her beautiful tits up and making them look even better. Upon closer inspection, it continues down to hug her tiny waist and flares out at her hips, just short enough that I can see the bottom part of her incredible ass.
I slam her up against the wall and kick the door shut. “You know, it really was unfair what you did, Becca. I will tell you one thing, though; all that waiting gave me plenty of time to think about your punishment.”
Her eyes get wide. “Punishment?”
I drop my head and go straight for her neck, biting gently as I make my way from side to side. She throws her arms around my shoulders and I move down to her breasts. I trace the peaks of them with my tongue, gently nipping every now and then. “Yes, your punishment. I’ve told you many times that you’re mine, Becca. You can’t tease me like that; it’s not fair.”
“Oh, but you can…” I slam my mouth against hers, not giving her a chance to defend herself. I pull back to take in her outfit one more time. I run my hands down her sides then back up to cup her breasts. I slip my fingers under the material and before she realizes what’s happening I rip it in half. “Luke! What the…” I kiss her again.
“The time for talking is over, Becca.” I pick her up, throw her over my shoulder, and make my way over to the bed. I lay her face down, and before she can move, I’ve situated myself over her. I bend down low so I can whisper in her ear, “I’ve been waiting for this since the first message you sent me, baby. I just need to let you know there will be nothing sweet and tender about this. I’m going to fuck you so hard that even if you try to hide from me tomorrow you’ll have a hard time walking.”
She lifts her ass against me, letting me know that she wants this just as much as I do. I sit up on my knees and take in the sight of her willing and ready for me, it’s almost enough to make me come before we even start. I run my hands down her back until I reach her ass, then I lift my hand up and spank her hard. She yelps and tries to turn to face me but I’m still on top of her.
“What the hell, Luke?!”
I lean down again and begin to kiss a line down her spine. “I told you that I would punish you, baby, and I meant it. Don’t worry, though, because once we’re done I’ll make it feel so fucking good.” I repeat the pattern again: spanking her, then kissing her back all the way down to the part of her ass I had smacked. The reddish color of her skin is turning me on even more. After the fifth time, I reach down and cup her pussy; she’s dripping wet.
I insert two fingers, circling them and opening her up for me. “You’re so damn wet, baby. You liked it, didn’t you?” She doesn’t answer me so I stop moving my fingers. She tries to rub against me to get the friction that she desperately wants but I hold her still. “No, Becca, I want to hear you say it.”
“Ugh! I liked it, okay?!”
I begin to move my fingers again and she moans. The second I pinch her clit between my fingers she screams and finds her release. Without giving her any time to recover, I pull her to her knees. I have to have her now. I quickly remove my pants and pull back, slamming into her so hard that her knees buckle. I grab her waist, holding her tight against me so she can adjust.
I notice that her hair is pulled back and grab it, using it to lift her up and pull her so that she’s almost at the same height as me. I run my tongue down her neck causing her to grind against me with need that I can’t believe she still has in her. Her arms reach back and her hands wrap around the back of my neck as she arches herself into me even further. I release her hair and move both of my hands to her breasts, rolling her nipples in between my fingers. She’s writhing against me and I can’t hold back any longer; I push her back down to the bed and begin to pound in and out of her. I’m pulling her hips back with every thrust to increase the depth and force. She’s moaning so loud and gripping the bed sheets so hard that I’m surprised she hasn’t shredded them. I can feel her muscles start to contract around me and I know that she’s close to another orgasm, and with all of my pent up frustration, I am, too.
I reach around her to play with her clit again and she explodes, yelling my name in the aftermath. That’s all it takes to finish me off and after a couple more thrusts, I empty myself into her. She immediately collapses on the bed, unable to hold herself up anymore, and I lay down beside her. She turns to face me, and when she does, she has one of the most content smiles on her face that I have ever seen.
It amazes me every day how much I love her. Sure, everyone else thinks I’m crazy because we haven’t known each other long. Casey was right, though; it doesn’t matter how long you know someone, your heart decides when you fall in love, and for Becca and me it just happened a lot sooner.
The only thing that really surprises me is how fast I was willing to let her in. I’ve dropped most of my friends because they only want to use me for their own benefit. The girls really weren’t any different, either. Becca is the first person I’ve ever met that doesn’t want anything from me. Even when I try to force acts of kindness on her, like giving her money, she finds a way to rebel and pulls a stunt like she did tonight. No one I’ve ever met can stand up to how amazing she is.
*****
It’s been three days since the last show and we’re in my hometown. We have a show tonight and then I’m taking Becca to my family’s house for the weekend. She’s nervous, but I know that they’ll love her. I think when I take time off after the tour we might come back for a week or so. I’m looking forward to my mini vacation more than anything else. I’ll get to spend every day with Becca, enjoying the things most ‘normal’ couples get to enjoy together.
When I broke the news to Mike last night I thought his head was going to burst into a million pieces. He gave me the speech about how I’m ruining my life and throwing my career away for some girl, but there are a couple of things he doesn’t understand. First of all, waiting two months to release an album isn’t going to make or break my career. I have loyal fans and it’s not like I’ve ever set an exact date for the release, so no one will know the difference. Second, Becca isn’t just ‘some girl’; she’s amazing and sexy and mine. We need time for our relationship to grow without the constant pressures and requirements of completing a tour around the country.
The door to my dressing room opens and I look up, expecting to see Becca; unfortunately it’s Samantha. “What do you need?”
She struts over in her barely there stage costume and sits down next to me. I notice a big brown envelope in her hand. “I have something that I thought you should see.” She puts the envelope down on the table in front of me and stands. “Just do me a favor and don’t shoot the messenger.” She walks out of the room without another word.
I reach for the envelope, and when I see what’s inside of it, my entire world shatters.
Chapter Ten
Rebecca
When I open the door to Luke’s dressing room it looks like a tornado has gone through it. In the corner of the room, a lamp has been shattered to pieces, the chair has been tipped over and there’s a hole in the wall. I immediately start to panic, thinking that something bad has happened to Luke.
“Luke?”
“Well, look who it is.” I jump, not realizing that he’d been in
the corner of the room behind me.
“What happened in here? Are you alright?”
“No, I’m not okay, Rebecca.” Rebecca? He never calls me that. As I take a closer look at Luke I can tell that he is definitely not alright. His eyes are vacant and he’s so tense that it looks as if his muscles might snap at any moment.
“What’s wrong?”
“I’ll tell you what’s wrong. I was dumb enough to believe in you, in us. I let you in and it’s partially my fault because I went against my better judgment. I should have walked away from you that very first day, and the fact that I didn’t proves just how fucking gullible I am.”
“What are you talking about? You’re not making any sense.”
Before I know what’s happening, he throws a handful of papers at me and they all scatter to the floor. “Look at them and then ask me why I’m upset!” I jump from the force and volume of his voice. “Look at them!”
I bend down and pick up what he threw. The first couple of papers are 8x10 pictures. Oh. My. God. There’s a picture of Jackson kissing me, but in this shot it doesn’t look like I’m fighting him. There are three pictures total and they were all taken before I slapped him and pushed him away. Tears start to form in my eyes because I know I should have told him what had happened that night. The stack of stapled papers behind the pictures makes absolutely no sense to me.
“Luke, if you would just let me, I can explain the pictures, but I have no idea what these papers are.”
He takes two long strides and is now towering over me. “You can explain? What kind of bullshit explanation are you going to give me as to why you are fucking kissing Jackson?! Oh, and that stack of papers is the fucking contract you signed! Why would you do that? I would’ve given it to you; I would have given you anything!”
“A contract for what?” I’m so confused right now.
“You can stop playing dumb now. I obviously know what you’re up to, so you can stop the charade.” He glares down at me and I’m searching his eyes for some sign of hope that he hasn’t completely shut down on me. Tears start to trail down my cheeks because I see no sign of the man that I love. “Fine, you need to hear me say it. I don’t know why you do, but I will. That is the fucking contract you signed with Jackson when you recorded “Just Another Heartbreak” with him. The contract that you signed for the song that the two of you stole from me! It came with a cd of the two of you singing it but that’s already shattered against the wall. Don’t worry, though; I’m sure you’ll be able to buy a new one.”
“Luke, I didn’t ever agree to…”
He moves past me and slams his fist into the wall behind me. “Stop fucking lying to me! You know what? Just stop talking altogether! I’ve already booked you a flight home and called a cab. Your bags were already here so I had them loaded for you, too. You need to leave, now. I never want to hear your name or see your face again.”
“Luke, please I…”
“Get out! I’m done with you and I regret anything that ever happened between us. Forget you ever met me because I’ve already forgotten you.”
I’m at a loss for words. What can I say? My heart is being ripped from my chest—my soul has been yanked from my body—and there is nothing I can do about it. I’m trying to find something to say or think of something I can do to make him listen to me when the door opens. Luke is given his five-minute warning. He moves toward the door, and then turns back to me.
“I’m going to have security come here in five minutes. If you aren’t gone, they will escort you out.”
He slams the door shut and all I can do is stare at it. I want to chase after him but my legs won’t listen to me. He left me and it’s entirely fault. I should’ve told him everything when it happened, but I never thought it would come out like this. My chest feels hollow and I know that it’s because Lucas Masterson just walked away with my heart. I open the door and head toward the exit.
I can barely see straight and when I bump into something, I look up to see Jackson. “Where are you going in such a rush, Becca?”
Before I realize what I’m doing I reach up and smack him across the face. “How could you do that? If you think for one second that I’m going to cooperate and do this with you, you are out of your mind!”
His eyes narrow on me and he laughs. “Unfortunately sweetheart, you really don’t have a choice. Maybe next time you should pay more attention when you sign your name on something.”
He walks past me and leaves me standing there with my mouth hanging open. I can’t believe that I was so stupid to trust him; to give him the benefit of the doubt when Luke told me what an asshole he was. I never wanted to be one of those people who always assumed the worst of people, but that is exactly what this situation has done to me. It has shown me that hope, trust, and love are all just things that don’t mean anything in the end.
I don’t need to tell the cab driver where I’m going, and when I get to the airport I’m only a half hour early for my flight. I don’t cry the entire ride to the airport or on the flight home. I grab a cab when I land and have the driver take me to my mom’s house. My phone is turned off so that I’m not tempted to call Luke and beg him to take me back. As much as I need her, I don’t want to talk to Jen, either. I’m the one who created this mess and I have to get myself through it.
My mom is asleep in her chair when I arrive at the house, so I go straight to my room. As soon as I sit down on the bed the tears start to fall in torrents down my face. Being here, back in this house, only makes the fact that I lost Luke that much more real. I’m alone now, a shell of the person that I was when I was with him. I know that no matter what happens now I will never be the same, because without Luke I will never be whole again.
Lucas
“Lucas Masterson, are you serious right now?! You didn’t even hear her side of the story?!”
I’m lying on the couch at my parents’ house, trying to drink away the memory of Becca. I’ve been here all weekend and I think my mom has started to get worried so she called in reinforcements. I know Alexa thinks she’s helping me, but the only thing she’s doing right now is pissing me off. “Drop it, Lex.”
“No! I saw the way you two were together; the way that she looked at you. That was not the look of someone who was only using you to get ahead, Luke!”
I thought that we had something real, too. “They say a picture is worth a thousand words, Lex. I got three pictures, a cd, and a fucking contract. I don’t care what you think you saw, that shit doesn’t lie.”
She leans down and smacks me across the back of my head. “Will you get your head out of your ass for a minute?! Think about what you were given and who gave it to you. Then I want you to think about another thing; if Becca was only after you and your money, why did you have to convince her to even go out with you in the first place? Why did she freak out in the expensive clothing stores when you took her shopping, and then try to shop at the clearance rack? And why in the hell did she fight you so hard about spending your money that you had to have it direct deposited into her account without her knowing? That girl loves you, Luke. You should have at least given her a chance to explain.”
She walks away from me, having successfully completed her mind fuck. Now, instead of trying to forget her, all I can think about is how much I miss Becca, and how amazing it had been to finally be in a real relationship. I can’t get the look in her eyes that night out of my head, either. She’d looked so shocked when I showed her everything.
Samantha wasted no time attaching herself to my hip after the show, either. The truth is, I actually came close to giving into her, too, but no amount of alcohol was going to make that happen. Jackson was gone by the time I finished my set, which was lucky for him. I just don’t understand how what I was given could be interpreted any other way.
Then there is a part of me that’s screaming that Becca wouldn’t have done that to me. Can it be possible that Alexa is right? Is there an explanation for everything? If there is, do I even w
ant to hear it? Fuck. I do want to hear it, and I’m praying that it’s something good. I grab my wallet and my keys and head for the airport; I’m going to go figure out what the hell happened.
Rebecca
It’s been two full days since Luke kicked me out of his life and getting up this morning wasn’t any easier. I know that I should be leaning on Jen to help me get through this, but I honestly don’t want to. This is all my fault and I deserve every minute of unhappiness. I should’ve been truthful with him about everything as soon as it happened.
My mom didn’t even notice I was here until yesterday. Wyatt’s been here the entire time so I’ve been trying to stay in my room. Every time I see him I can feel his slimy eyes crawling over me. Maybe this is where I’m supposed to end up; living with my mother—destined to turn out like her—broken and destroyed by the only man I ever loved. I’ve started to write in my journal—like I used to in high school—to help me sort through my emotions. Nothing helps, though; I know the only thing that will ever cure the ache in my chest is the one thing I will never have again. Lucas Masterson.
My door opens and when I look up, Wyatt is standing in my doorway. I try to go back to what I was doing and not pay any attention to him but he’s just standing there staring at me. When I look up and meet his eyes again, he smiles at me. He takes another couple steps so he’s now completely in my room. I’m about to tell him to leave when he shuts the door and locks it. My heart speeds up and my body stiffens.
“I’ve been waiting for you to come back home, Rebecca.” He continues his slow journey to my bed as his eyes roam over my body. “I was beginning to think you wouldn’t come back, but I’m so glad you did.” He’s now standing next to my bed, invading my space, and I’m terrified to look at him. He lifts his hand and runs it up my arm.
I move to the side, trying to get off the bed, but he grabs my upper arm with one hand, while his other hand presses me down into the bed so I’m now lying on my back. “I never made a move on you before because I knew that you were a virgin.” He moves the hand that had been holding my arm and runs it over my chest, feeling the curve of my breasts. Tears start to fall down my face because I know that there’ll be no one who will help me even if I scream. “I know that you have to have given it up to the rock star. If I say I’m not jealous I would be lying, but it’s okay, because now it’s my turn.” His hand slowly starts to make its way down my body and I scream, even though I know no one will come.
