Hunter (The Fractured Fairytale Series)

Red turns to Emily, “Guess we better get out of here then.”
Emily is red in the face, smiling, flustered and amused. “Can I get you guys some towels?”
“We’re fine,” Wolf says as he wraps himself around Red and shoves her with his body towards the door.
“I’ll call you tomorrow,” Red calls over her shoulder, “Thanks for dinner, good luck Em.”
“Thanks.” Emily looks after them and then swivels around, taking in the destruction. The table is still full of plates that are covered in food, two chairs have fallen over, and I’m in the pool, grinning at her.
“Are you two ever going to grow up?”
“What for?”
She stands above me shaking her head pretending she doesn’t love this side of me.
“Help a guy out?” I stretch out and she reaches for my hand. I yank as hard as I can, her scream drowns out as she hits the water with a splash.
She resurfaces. Her hair plastered to her face, her make up running, her mouth set in an annoyed grimace. “What the hell, Hunter?”
I drag her hand, pulling her through the water and push her against the wall where I pin her down, our faces an inch apart, “It's better to ask for forgiveness than permission.” I smirk and brush her lips with mine, the grimace dissolving away.
“You are pretty good at apologizing.” A hint of a smile crosses her beautiful lips, and I kiss her. Hard. Because she’s mine. The thought sets me alight.
“Well, there’s nothing I’d like more than to spend the rest of tonight apologizing” I give her my most charming smile and feel her melt around me as my body burns for her.
I wrap my hands around her and draw her to me, my lips sealing around hers in a scorching kiss that promises all our desires will be fed. I love this woman so much; I know that all I want to do is to make her feel as happy as I do every single fucking day forever.
I’ve always been good at being someone else’s something, but now all I want is to be her everything.
The End
If you enjoyed Hunter and Emily’s story, please consider leaving a review on Amazon and Goodreads.
Unrequited
I have loved you in the dark, where all my secrets live
Where you dragged my heart through broken glass
And left me to starve, heartsick with the famine of desire
You confined my love, forced it into helpless hiding
Where it was doomed to swim in the murky waters of your heart
Where you couldn’t see me, where you never saw me
But even through my descent, a free fall into agony
I will never regret you
I will never forget you
You’ve ruined me
I’ve fought to rip my desire for you from my bones
To shatter my love into a million pieces of glass
But they are everywhere I go, slicing into my skin
There is no way to recover from a love so strong or fierce
The exquisite pain loving you gave me is engraved in my soul
My broken heart bleeds salty tears that sting the open wound
The joke’s on me
Have the last laugh
I can’t lose something that I never had
So tell my heart
To stop falling apart
Cause even though it knows, it still hurts so bad
But even through my descent, a free fall into agony
I will never regret you
I will never forget you
You’ve ruined me
