A Little Sunshine Page 18

Trent smirked, tipping his head to the side, as if he was enjoying how uncomfortable she was. "And was she surprised?"

"Well, she knew you were here. That's the thing. She was all excited one minute, screaming about us becoming real sisters, but then she was like, 'Oh Shit! You scared me.' Then she was like, 'Oh crap, Tom just came in and heard me talking to you and now I'm in trouble. I have to go; call me the minute you get home.' And that was it. She hung up."

  "So"

"Well, it was weird. You don't think it was weird?" She looked down at her watch. They had arranged for late check-out as their flight didn't leave until early evening.

"Tiff can be a little strange," Trent said, bending forward to nibble on her neck.

Giggling, she pulled away. "Stop trying to distract me. Your little sister said she was in trouble. Trouble? Does that mean what I think it means? And why would Tom be upset because he heard her? It doesn't make sense…"

"It's all very logical." Trent's smile grew a little wider, showing his straight white teeth and that dimple she adored.

  "Really?"

"Yes," he nodded, "Tiff does get into the type of trouble you think it means. And she is in trouble for lying to her best friend about their family being sick, so that said best friend would have to go to Cancun alone."

"No! She wouldn't lie to me." Sunny stood up, bringing her hand to her mouth. "Why? Why would she have done that? Why make me come alone? We've been planning this since we were little girls."

Trent laughed and pulled her back towards him. "So, you didn't want me to come?"

"Of course not. I mean of course I'm glad you came, I wouldn't have traded a moment of the past few days, but, Trent, Tiffany couldn't have known you would come. Why didn't she want to come with me?" Sunny sank down on Trent's lap again when he held out his arm to her.

Trent kissed her forehead. "Honey, she called me and told me you'd gone off alone because she couldn't go. She told me she was sick too. When I started asking questions, she pretended to need the bathroom and hung up. Turns out, the little sneak had made up the whole thing. I suppose I should call Tom and ask him to be lenient. After all, she was only trying to get us both out of our own ways ever since I asked her if she thought you'd ever forgive me for threatening to spank you."

"You did? So… so she knew? My best friend knew that you liked me and didn't tell me? Oh, no, forget lenient. I'm… I'm going to call Tom back and tell him to use a big fat paddle."

"You're not going to do anything yet." Trent nuzzled his face into her neck and spoke low into her ear. "We still have to get your spanking out of the way."

"What?" she sputtered, "what are you talking about?"

"We need to take care of that spanking…"

  "What spanking?"

"The one you've had coming for eight years. We should just clear the air here and now."

"We don't have time…" She looked at the small plastic buttons on his polo shirt. She'd be damned if she could look at his face. Was he kidding?

"Oh, yes we do. And you, young lady, are going to tell me exactly how it was supposed to go."

"What?" Sea green eyes met gray.

"Yes, I want to hear every bit of this fantasy. It has to be pretty well thought out by now." His wink had a definition of its own. Seductive and fun, and she was discovering that she very much wanted to play the game.

"Are you sure we have time?" When he released her in order to lift his arm and check the time, she jumped off his lap and took off running. "You'll have to catch me first." A peek over her shoulder let her know he was following, but at a much slower pace.

"Daddy doesn't run in the house, and he does know one little girl who won't be able to sit tomorrow for doing so." He was like a lion stalking toward her with a cocky smirk and a determined gait.

Sunny giggled with the little thrill that moved down her spine. He could have reached out and caught her easily but he didn't. He let it drag out. He watched as she hopped onto the bed, giggling uncontrollably as she began to jump up and down.

"I'm going to start counting and however long it takes you to get down is how many minutes you are going to stand in the corner." He stopped at the edge of the bed. He could have easily caught her and pulled her to him. "One."

"No!" she squealed as she bounced again.

"Two." He crossed his arms over his chest, but the smile he worked hard to keep hidden tilted the corners of his mouth upward.

  "No, Daddy!" She giggled again.

"Three." He held up his fingers as he counted now.

"How hard can it be to stand in the corner?" she teased bouncing higher.

"Oh, baby girl, you just keep bouncing and then you can discover that answer."

"Hmm, sounds like an empty threat to me. Besides, aren't you supposed to be catching me first?" She stuck out her tongue but didn't bounce away fast enough.

At the same time he said the word 'four', he reached out and caught her ankle, pulling her down and toward him as he sat on the side of the bed.

"Did I forget to mention that corner time will be spent with your very red, very hot bottom bared and on display?"

"Yes!" she squealed, "you never said anything about that. Tiff didn't have to…"

"Oh, my beautiful, naughty, little piece of sunshine, you'll learn that spanking my fiancée and then my wife will be far, far different than any spanking I've ever given my little brat of a sister."

Sunny struggled but quickly ended up over his lap, her dress bunched around her waist and her panties had slid into her slit from the way he'd pulled her across the bed by her foot. He remedied that for her right away when he tugged them down her thighs and then completely off.

It might have taken eight years, but she finally got the spanking she'd dreamed about. Only this wasn't a dream, this was her new reality and though she squealed, shrieked, giggled, and begged, by the time she was standing in the corner, holding her dress at her waist, her very red, very hot bottom on display for her Daddy, she knew one thing for sure. She'd stand there forever as long as his hands were running over her punished skin, his breath wafting across her ear as his teeth nibbled her skin. When he lifted her and laid her down on the bed, this time to make gentle love to her, she knew she was right where she belonged.

  Epilogue

A figure stood on the edge of the sea, the wind molding her white dress against her body. A tissue paper pink rose was tucked behind a delicate ear. Bare toes tipped with dark pink polish curled in the sand as a little silver dolphin danced. The blue water shimmered under the Caribbean sun but could not compete with the glistening that filled sea-green eyes. Long blonde hair swirled around a face that was lifted, not to the sun, but to the man standing before her.

Sunny thought the only thing more perfect than her surroundings was hearing those final words. "I now pronounce you husband and wife." The only thing that could make her any happier was when her new husband bent to kiss her and whispered, "I now pronounce us Daddy and his little Sunny."

Cheers, whoops, and laughter had him pulling her back from being bent over and his lips, God, those incredible lips, left hers.

Tiff was crying as she flung her arms around her. "We are finally real sisters!"

"I still can't believe it," Sunny said, her own tears tracking down her cheeks.

"This is going to be so much fun!" Tiff promised. The new sisters squealed in perfect harmony as their husband's popped their backsides at the exact same time.

"Yup," Trent said, pulling his bride into his arms. "Tom and I were just talking about how much fun it is going to be keeping you two naughty girls in line."

"Good luck with that," Tiff teased, "it took you eight years to catch my best friend…"

"And I'll spend a lifetime making up for that," her brother assured her, bending to press his lips on the top of Sunny's hair.

She couldn't have been a more radiant bride. Her dress hugged her torso and then flared to swirl around her knees. She'd carried a bouquet ma
de of a rainbow hue of paper flowers. She'd giggled when she'd seen Trent's eyebrow lift and his smile at seeing the tribute to the first flowers he'd ever brought her. It seemed like both yesterday and a lifetime ago. Every day since she'd awakened to find him in her room, six months ago had been magical. Both agreed that returning to the place where they had truly become one was the only option for their wedding.

After the ceremony, they had dinner on the patio, accepting congratulations from total strangers who stopped by their table. When her Daddy had asked if she was sure she didn't mind that their only guests were his family members, she had told him that she'd felt his relatives were far more like a family than her own ever since she could remember. She danced with her husband, with Tom, and then danced with both of her godsons, her laughter filling the air as the two little boys bounced and twirled around her in a circle. As the sun began to lower towards the horizon, Trent drew her up from her chair and they said their goodbyes to their few guests.

Hand-in-hand, the newlyweds walked towards the beach and she smiled when a man stepped from the tree line, leading a white horse who had tissue flowers tucked into his mane.

"So you remembered as well. He's beautiful," she said as she reached out and stroked the horse's cheek.

"I'll always remember," Trent said, "I don't think I'll ever forget a single moment that you've been in my life."

  "I just wish I hadn't taken so long to…"

"Don't," he said, stroking a finger down her cheek. "We did find each other and now have our whole lives to be together."

Sunny nodded and watched in amazement as he mounted the animal in one fluid movement. Taking his hand, she laughed as he pulled her up and set her in front of him. Though there was no pommel to cling to, no saddle to keep them centered, she had no fear of falling. After all, her Daddy's arms were around her, keeping her safe.

Trent tapped his heels against the horse's side and guided him to walk through the surf where it lapped against the sand. She leaned her head back against her Daddy's broad chest and said, "I've dreamed of this ride for as long as I can remember. It's like my fantasy coming true."

"Tell me," he said, bending to kiss her cheek.

"I'd rather you tell me," she said, turning her eyes to his. "I'm done with living in any fantasy world. All I want now are the memories we make. Memories that we both will remember for our lifetimes."

His hold tightened around her and they rode in silence except for the sound of the surf and the splash of the water as they walked along the sand. When the beach curved around a dune, Trent pulled on the reins and the horse stopped and he dismounted, lifting his arms to her.

She placed her hands on his shoulders as he pulled her to him and then slowly allowed her to slide down his body. His lips met hers and the kiss told of passion to come. When he pulled back, he turned her to face away from the water and she gasped. Sitting almost hidden in the trees was a cabin, dark except for the white twinkling lights that were draped from the eaves and woven through the rails of the porch. She watched as a man stepped forward.

"Congratulations on your marriage. I wish you nothing but happiness, peace, and, most of all, love. Las bendiciones de Dios sobre ti." He gave them a small bow before taking the reins from Trent and leading the horse back around the dunes.

"What did he say?" Sunny asked as the man disappeared.

"He made a wish that God's blessings be with us," Trent answered.

"That is a beautiful wish," she said, "and this is incredible." She turned back to smile up at him. "Our own secret place."

He took her hand and they walked to the cabin and she squealed at the huge hammock that took up an entire side of the porch. Trent laughed, promising they would make very good use of it as he led her inside.

Sunny looked around the small but absolutely perfect honeymoon cabin. She saw that their suitcases had been delivered and that champagne was cooling in an ice-bucket and a large bowl of strawberries sat on the table. A gasp escaped when she saw that cheese and crackers were sitting on a board… a twin of the one she had come to both crave and hate when it was cracked against her bottom. Her eyes darted to see that he had been watching and his dimples appeared and his eyebrow lifted, telling her it wasn't a coincidence.

Continuing her tour, she turned to see that the bed looked big enough to get lost in, covered in crisp white linens, mounds of pillows stacked against the headboard. Her face heated remembering how her Daddy would often arrange her over such a pile before spanking his naughty little girl.

Trent grinned. "It will be easy to either serve my wife scrambled eggs in bed or to turn my naughty girl sunny side up over those great pillows and watch her wiggle and attempt to swim away from a big bull shark." She giggled at his egg reference and then realized that he might actually be serious. From the way he was looking at her, she wasn't sure if he was speaking of the paddle on the table taking a bite out of her ass or devouring her himself. She relaxed and giggled again thinking that either would be just fine with her.

He opened the last door and she saw a tub big enough for two, bottles lined up on the counter by the sink. "Are there bubbles?" she asked.

"Of course," Trent said, "a perfect bath is when Daddy has to find his little girl beneath a huge mound of bubbles." She giggled and then her tummy flipped when he added, "And, my little sunshine, I hope you note the tub is more than big enough for two." Trent took her hand and led her out the door and out of the cabin.

Above the water-line, he silently lifted the hem of her dress and pulled it over her head. "God, I love these almost as much as I love your bikini," he said and she smiled. She and Tiff had gone shopping before they left and she'd spent a rather sinful amount of money on new lingerie. Seeing the look in his eyes, she knew it was worth every penny.

He held her hand and made her twirl in a circle before he pulled her to him and his hands dropped to cup her bottom. The white lace thong she wore was tiny but had a silk bow at the beginning of her cleft. His palms ran across the exposed globes of her ass as he bent to kiss her. His finger lifted to trace the side of her breast, the cups barely large enough to cover the lower parts of her breasts. The fabric was so sheer that the moment he touched her, her nipples tightened and pressed against their confinement until he removed her bra, freeing them for his touch. His thumbs played with her nipples until she was moaning, her knees feeling weak. He released her only long enough to shed his clothing before kneeling in the sand and reaching up, hooked his fingers into the waistband of her panties and slowly peeled them down, his lips following their path. She clung to him, trembling both with the shame of being naked outside and with the passion he was promising.

There was no need to lie in the surf alone—not when she could be lying in the arms of her Daddy as he scooped her into his arms before gently laying her down at the water's edge.

"I need you," he whispered against the shell of her ear before kissing the sensitive area of her neck behind it. Goosebumps pebbled her skin as his warm breath wafted across her sun-kissed skin.

"But, what if someone sees?" she whispered, her heart beating rapidly as his hands began to trace along her body.

"Shh, you don't need to worry about that. You are safe here with Daddy." She could feel the warmth of the sand on her back and the delicious coolness of the water as it washed across her legs just before he used his hands to spread her thighs apart and guided her perfectly tanned and toned legs around his trim waist. Her eyes were shielded from the fading sun as his head bent down, a smile on his lips.

He whispered, "Let's make a memory." Sunny felt tears fill her eyes as her husband, her Daddy, filled her body. As a memory was imprinted that belonged to them both, she knew that she'd never again need to fantasize. She had all she could have ever dreamed of and when she cried out in passion as the sun slipped beneath the sea, she knew this one man was just beginning to teach her all the ways she could burn.
