  Dr Jack Dann – is a multi-award-winning author who has written or edited over seventy-five books, including the international bestseller The Memory Cathedral, The Rebel, The Silent, and The Man Who Melted. His latest novel is Shadows in the Stone.   Aiki Flinthart - is the Australian author of 15 sci-fantasy novels, two collections of short stories, two author craft non-fiction books. She has also edited 4 short story collections. Several of her works have been shortlisted in the Australian Aurealis Awards, and top-8 finalists in the USA Writers of the Future competition.   Dirk Flinthart - is an award-winning writer in Northern Tasmania and has a Masters in Creative Writing. He has a string of published speculative fiction short stories, as well as an SF/Horror novel (Path of Night) through Fablecroft. He has worked in feature journalism and non-fiction, including the best-selling HowTo Be A Man, co-written with John Birmingham. In the last few years, Flinthart has turned his attention to film, television and media and is currently working on several different projects.

  Jasper Fforde - is a British writer who lives in Wales and writes absurdist fiction. He has published seven books in the Thursday Next series, one of which won the Wodehouse Prize for comic fiction in 2004. There are also two novels in the Nursery Crime series, and several in the Dragonslayer YA series. A festival in Swindon is themed after him and his Thursday Next book series.

  Neil Gaiman – is an English author of numerous speculative fiction novels, graphic novels, screenplays for film and television, poetry and short stories. His works have won multiple awards, including the Newbery and Carnegie Medals; and the Hugo, Nebula, World Fantasy, Bram Stoker, Locus, British SF, and British Fantasy Awards, and many others.   Pamela Jeffs – is an Australian author of weird speculative fiction, mostly short stories. Her best-known work is the Five Dragons short story collection, which was shortlisted for the Aurealis Awards in 2020. Her others stories have been shortlisted several times for the Aurealis Awards, and received Honorable Mention in the USA Writers of the Future competition.   Mark Lawrence – was born in Illinois but moved to the UK aged one. He returned to the US in his 30s, after taking a PhD in Mathematics, and worked on a variety of projects before returning to the UK. He never had any ambition to be a writer, so was surprised when a half-hearted attempt to find an

  Ken Liu - is a US author of speculative fiction.   Robert Silverberg- has been professional science fiction and fantasy author since 1955. He is a many-times winner of the Hugo and Nebula awards. He was named to the Science Fiction Hall of Fame in 1999, and in 2004 was designated as Grand Master by the SFWA. His books and stories have been translated into 40 languages. Among his best known works are Nightwings, Dying Inside, The Book of Skulls, and the three volumes of the Majipoor Cycle.
