A Woman's Worth 3

“Ouch, motherfucker!” I yelped and turned around into the menacing eyes of Nard.
I jumped back a little forgetting he had his hand wrapped around my hair. He had this crazed look in his eyes and his vein in his neck was protruding out his neck. He yanked even harder pulling me close to him. His eyes were bloodshot red so I knew he had been drinking. Next thing I know, he dragged me out the club by my hair. Out the corner of my eye, I saw Reshawn with Mezzie yoked up in the corner. We both locked eyes and said a silent prayer. He opened the door to the car and threw me in the front seat of the car. He nodded to the bouncer and got into the car.
I rubbed my hair and the bald spot I knew was there. He gripped the steering wheel tightly and zoomed through the wet New York streets like ghost rider. I closed my eyes hoping that it would relieve the throbbing pain in my head. It felt like I slept for an hour before I felt myself being yanked again out the car and up the stairs to the house. Nard dragged me upstairs to our bedroom and threw my ass on the hardwood floor hard. My fucking knees stung and all I wanted to do was to lie down in my bed.
“You always trying me, Dalia,” he snarled while pouring himself a glass of Henny.
Where the fuck did this nigga pull that from? I thought to myself as I watched him guzzle the dark liquor without wincing. I cringed just thinking how it must have tasted.
“I was just having some fun, Nardarian. I didn’t even know who he was.” I tried to stand up. My damn legs were killing me. Shit, everything killed me.
Whap!
He slapped the living shit out of me and held me close to his face. I looked him in his eyes and he kissed my lips. It was shit like this that kept me attracted to Nard’s crazy ass. His ass was territorial for sure, but I knew he loved me. Like he proved many times, he would kill a nigga over me and it drove me absolutely crazy. Yet, it made my panties super wet.
He pulled me close to him and grabbed my face in his hands. I gazed into his eyes and licked my lips. He kissed my head where he yanked the hair and kissed me all over my face. He laid me down on the bed and opened my legs. Nard licked his lips and went down below. I gasp at the slurping sounds he was making. It turned me on and I tried to pull his head up. Instead, he just opened me up wider and continued to feast on my kitty cat. I moaned and raised my pussy up to his mouth like a wine glass. He accepted it by slipping his tongue in me.
“Let me tell you something, Dalia. Don’t let me catch you doing some shit like that again.” He went back down to tearing my pussy up with lips, tongue, and teeth.
“I promise,” I whispered.
He flipped me over and entered me long and hard. Each inch he inserted I gasped but pushed back on his dick. He gently took hold of my shoulder and grabbed it. He pulled me back on him and started handing out strokes like high blood pressure. I put my finger in my mouth while I threw it back on him. I started shaking my ass and he stopped to watch the ripple effect my ass did. I felt him bear hug me from behind and started going harder and harder. He lifted my leg and banged his dick into me. He flipped me over and entered me again. This time I looked into his bedroom eyes as he fucked me hard. He started playing with my pussy as he fucked me and I thought my soul left my body. I felt my body shaking and he ignored me because he finished giving me those blows that I loved so much.
“Damn!” He yelled as he emptied himself inside me.
I had come before him and was now stuck in place.
He got up and pulled me up on the pillows. He shut the lights and lay beside me. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed my neck. Everyone saw Nard as a wild beast in the streets. No one ever saw this side of him. He was loving, caring and attentive. Don’t get me wrong, he did have his trip out moments the way he had just revealed, but all of this love he had overshadowed all his flaws.
“I love you, Dalia. Get some sleep.” He kissed me and I closed my eyes. I made a mental note to call and check on Mezzie in the morning.
Chapter Nineteen
Reshawn
“When the fuck did you get out here?” I yelled at her back as she wiped her tears.
I didn’t even know why she cried; I hadn’t even touched her. I was proud of myself for not laying hands on my queen. Unlike Nard’s ass, he dragged poor Dalia out the club like she was a shovel. She sniffled and wiped her wet face. Her nose was red and her makeup ran down her face. I hated seeing her like this, but she had no business shaking her ass in the club on that nigga. I almost put his head through the wall. I stopped because I was pretty sure he didn’t know she had a man and kids at home.
“Fuck you, Reshawn!” She screamed and threw her clutch across the floor. Her phone and all the contents fell out the bag. Her cellphone rang and the name ‘work’ came across the screen. Last I remembered, her ass was unemployed and living off the money I made. I looked over at her and she had a worried expression across her face. I had looked at her before I slid my finger across the screen.
“Yo,” I answered.
“Hi, is Mezzie around?”
“Nah, can I take a message?”
“Yeah, this is Angel. I wanted her to work tonight. It’s a slow night and I’m sure she can bring some people in tonight,” he did a nervous laugh. I didn’t find shit funny.
“You want her to be on your pole?” I questioned messing with my dreads.
“Dude, it’s a strip club, it ain’t nothing personal.”
“We’ll see just how personal when I get back to Miami.” I ended the call and slammed the phone on the floor.
She jumped and ran to her cellphone. She gave me a mean mugged and picked her phone up off the floor and stuffed it into her clutch.
“Listen and you better listen clear because I’m not explaining this shit again. You left and came to New York. You left me and came up here to live some carefree lifestyle so don’t get mad over what I do with my body. It’s mine, right? It ain’t nagging you anymore, so move,” she stated and pushed me out the way.
“Miranda, get the fuck back over here. I ain’t fi…”
“I don’t give a fuck if you’re finish or not. I don’t have time to be putting up with your shit, nigga.” I pushed her back in the room and she grabbed her gun off her thigh. I laughed so hard I couldn’t control it. She looked at me weird.
“You really need to stop hanging out with Epiphany and Promise.” The shit she had just pulled was Epiphany and Promise all the way.
“Because of them, I’m not a weak bitch. You want a weak bitch go get you one. If you want your family, your ass will be at the airport when I leave here Monday.” She turned and left the room.
I didn’t bother to chase Billy badass. I just watched as she flagged a cab and hopped in. I wasn’t about to argue with her ass. Her ass had no business working back at the strip club. She knew how I felt about that shit. I was the only person who should be seeing her twirling on the pole naked. I dialed Nard and waited for him to answer.
“Yo, you good nigga?” I asked laughing.
“More than good. Had to reach lil’ mama a lesson,” he joked.
“Let’s get up for lunch. I need to holla at you about something and see if you good. You dragged Dalia’s ass like a damn shovel out the club.” I sat down on a chair in the lobby of the hotel we went to stay in. We hadn’t even made it to check-in. I knew I had to dip soon, the little bellman looked spooked.
“Fo’ sure. She’s good though. I controlled myself, for now. One.”
I got up and left the hotel, but not before slipping a hundred on the counter for the bellman. I trusted he knew why he was graced with the money. I hopped in the car and headed toward Melissa’s place. I wished I just stayed at the hotel. This bitch was back on my nerves about everything. Soon as I gave her credit for being a good little side bitch, she flipped and did the complete opposite. She became a headache for me and I thought it was about time I packed my shit and stayed elsewhere. I pulled into the driveway and shut the car down. The bedroom light was still on and I blew air out my lips. Why did I feel
like I was in another relationship?
I thought I would come to New York and chill. Maybe fuck a couple bitches and drink until my liver couldn’t take it anymore. However, I manage to come back to New York and get into another relationship. Damn, Reshawn you need to do better my nigga. I opened the car door and walked into the house. She sat at the kitchen table with her magazine and a screw face on.
“Who’s upstairs?” I asked.
“My nigga. Who told you to pop up unannounced,” she responded.
“Bi…” I was cut off by no other than Malik black ass walking down the stairs.
“What’s good Rah? How you been?” He had the nerve to reach his hand out.
“I’m cool. This you?” I pointed at Melissa’s ol’ trick ass.
“When I want her to be,” he laughed and kissed her on the cheek. He placed money on the table and walked out the door.
I walked upstairs to pack my shit up. This bitch was a true chicken head and just wanted money wherever she could get it. I snatched my clothes out her closet and threw it into my bags. She followed behind me with food in her hand and looking with a smirk. The little bitch found this funny. She pushed my buttons. She wanted me to hit her and stomp a mud hole into her. Her sick ass got off on shit like that. I couldn’t believe I fucked this bitch and she was fucking with enemy. Grant it, he didn’t know he was the enemy yet.
“Why you leaving, Reshawn?” She asked in a sarcastic tone.
“Shut the fuck up. Don’t say shit to me.” I continued packing.
“Oh, so it’s cool for you to go run the streets with Lord knows who, but I can’t have fun in my damn house?”
Did this bitch lose her mind on the way up the stairs? I was convinced she had taken hard drugs and she had just shoved them all up her nose before she came to talk to me. She stood with a plate in her hand and the other on her hip. I knew she would start some shit with that plate. I just grabbed the one bag I packed and made my way downstairs. I didn’t need the rest of my shit. She could keep it for all I cared. I put my bags in the trunk and I felt the glass plate slam into the side of my face. I felt the little pieces break into my skin. I bit my lip so hard I tasted blood. It was nothing more I wanted to do than slam this bitch’s head into the sidewalk numerous times.
I hopped into the car and quickly sped out her driveway. I felt myself about to shed the good guy interior and the Reshawn that didn’t give a fuck was slowly emerging. I hid him for so long and I didn’t want him to come back out. If he came back out, I’m sure me and Mezzie’s relationship would end. I felt the side of my face and I was pissed the fuck off. That bitch better hope my face ain’t fucked up, cause she would have two crazy twin bitches at her door. I knew she didn’t want those problems. I turned my music up and drove. I was in my zone; I smiled because I was the bigger person in the situation.
Chapter Twenty
Tiffany
It was our last night in New York, and I couldn’t wait to get back home to my baby girl. The whole time I was in New York, I hadn’t heard from Marquise. After having a heart to heart with Tyrisha, I was actually fine with the fact our relationship might be over. I made peace with the loss of our child. It was God’s way of telling me I wasn’t ready for another child. All I could think about was getting home and focusing on my daughter and business. Both Tyrisha and I agreed to partner in the company. I was cool with that because she was good at what she did. If Marquise wanted us in his life, he would come to us. I wasn’t going to push anything in my life. I wanted things to happen organically for me.
We all were gathered in Mezzie’s hotel room listening to her crazy night she had the night before. I was listening and clutching my imaginary pearls at the shit she told me. This bitch hit every club from New York to Philly and had a nightcap with Trey Songz’s bodyguard.
“Bitch, who the hell cares about his bodyguard? If you said you fucked Trey I would care,” Dalia called out.
“Yeah, whatever. What happened to your ass? Last I saw, Nard dragged you out on your ass.”
She sucked her teeth. “Nard acts like he’s tough, but he’s as soft as cake. He ate me to sleep that’s all,” she bragged.
“Uh huh, he beat you to sleep,” Tyrisha cackled and we all fell into laughter.
“Nah, to be honest I couldn’t stand y’all and when Mezzie hit me up I didn’t want to answer. Y’all cool though,” she complimented.
“Aww.” I hugged her since I was sitting the closest.
“You should come back to Miami. We can be the Real bitches of Miami,” Mezzie joked.
“I love the city. I’ll visit though. Let’s get these drinks flowing.” We all toasted and drank the entire night away. This weekend was just what I needed.
*
We arrived back in Miami in one piece. Mezzie was a little sad Reshawn didn’t come back with us. I told her she needed to stop beating a dead dog. When we got to the airport, Moses waited with a dozen roses for Tyrisha. She ran to him and kissed him a million times. They were so cute, but I also knew they went through hell and back to get to the ‘cute’ place.
“Bye, I’ll call y’all tomorrow. Where’s my baby, Moe?” She yelled at him as she got into his Bugatti.
We walked to Mezzie’s jeep and hopped in. Chanel watched the kids so we had time to spare. Mezzie stopped by KOD to pick up her money and items out her locker and we continued to the house. We arrived at her house and we noticed a black tinted car in the driveway.
“Chanel hoe ass better not have no man around my kids,” she huffed as she parked on the street.
We walked into the house and searched for Chanel’s ass. My blood boiled because I knew how she got down. Mezzie was new to this shit and didn’t know better. I did, Chanel’s ass would leave a baby at the house and go to the store. Madison was only over there until Maryann came back. She was only allowed a couple hours with my baby.
“I got you, homie… Come on,” Reshawn said to Ray as he walked behind him. Mezzie looked shocked to see him.
“When did you get here?”
“I’ve been here since Sunday night. My mama went back home,” he explained to us and I walked into the kitchen.
“Where’s my baby?”
“Mommy!” I heard her screaming down the hallway. I bent down and she ran into my arms. I examined her clothes and hair. She was dressed to my approval.
“Hey princess, I’ve missed you. Gimme kisses,” I spoke into her ear and she showered me with kisses.
I said my goodbyes to Mezzie and headed home. I borrowed her truck and promised to bring it back to her tomorrow. I knew she and Reshawn had a lot to talk about and I needed to go home and relax with my princess. I thanked God that we lived close to each other. It felt good to roll into my driveway and see my beautiful home. I helped Madison out the back seat and we entered the house. My mouth hit the floor when I looked at my half-empty house. I couldn’t believe Marquise would come and take damn near everything we bought together.
“Mommy what happened to stuff?” Madison innocently asked.
“I don’t know baby,” I called the only person I could think of.
Chapter Twenty-One
Moses
As I listened to inconsolable Tiffany on the phone, I was upset that Marquise would do this. I understood why he left and I respected he did it the peaceful way, until Tiffany called me and told me how he went about it. I would never have let the nigga into the house if I knew he would be moving furniture and shit. Tyrisha paced the floor mad that she couldn’t go over there and console her. I told her to stay her ass still, Tiffany did what she did and now she had to live with it.
Tiffany didn’t know that Marquise found out about her and Quinton still talking behind his back. I knew she couldn’t let Quinton go that easily. I also knew my brother flew to Miami a few times and the two had been together during those times. She played a dirty game by messing with two men. When Marquise told me this, I couldn’t believe Tiffany would play herself like this, again. Her losing
the baby was her own fault; she bought it on herself and no one else. Marquise had been offered the opportunity in Cali, but he put it off for months. Tiffany refused to go and he was going to leave the offer alone. Once he found out about Tiffany cheating he dipped and went to Cali, but could I blame him?
“Tiff, don’t worry about the furniture. Come over here and stay the night and we’ll replace it in the morning,” I told her. She sniffled and then agreed. I ended the call and rolled over to Tyrisha mean mugging me.
“When you going to tell her that Quinton is here, Moses?” Tyrisha sat down on the bed staring at me.
“They are grown, Tyrisha. I’m not about to play Jerry Springer. Tiffany knew what she was doing; she should have stayed with Quinton if she was in love with him. Not move on to Marquise,” I barked and turned over.
I didn’t have shit to do but lay down and relax. I was about to fuck Tyrisha when Tiffany called, but I knew that would be a long shot. Her ass would be involved in all their business. She slipped into some clothes and fixed up her hair. I sighed and got up to get back dressed. I figured I go down upstairs to my man cave and hang with Quinton until Tiffany made her ass over here.
“Man, I didn’t plan on fuckin’ her while she was in a relationship,” Quinton admitted while playing the play station 4.
“How did all this shit happen?”
“I came back into town for a little get together. Y’all was in Trinidad at Pop's and I needed some papers I left at her house. She claimed she had them put in storage and we met during her lunch break. One thing led to another and we fucked on the couch in the storage unit. You know I never got over her ass, she messed with Reshawn and now this Marquise nigga so I fell back,” He enlightened me and all I could do was shake my head.
“You know she’s on her way over here, right?”
“Word, for what?” He perked up.
“Homeboy took all the furniture out her crib.” I got up and grabbed a soda.
“Bitch ass nigga. I knew he wasn’t shit when he owned a salon,” Quinton vented.
