  Coming Home

  Ajax

I’ve been waiting for eight years for this day, the day my brother’s killer comes home from prison. Now I’ll get justice for my brother. But when I go to confront her, she surprises the hell out of me.

When I find myself looking down the barrel of a gun, pointed right at my head I look beyond the barrel and straight into her eyes. When she tells me she didn’t kill Mad Dog, I want to believe her but I don’t know if I can.

For eight very long years, I believed she did the deed but what she’s got to tell me makes sense. Her side was a story she never got to tell before in the hurried sham of a trial she got.

Then one of my men gives me a piece of evidence he found at the scene. It was something he didn’t trust the police with and for good reason. It tells me there was someone else at the scene, other than the girl, that is.

I have to find the unknown witness and determine who is telling the truth here.

  Wynette

I didn’t know it could happen to me but it did. I just walked out of prison having been a guest of the state for the last eight years. For a crime, I didn’t commit. I was judged and found guilty of killing a man, only problem was I didn’t even know him. He was a biker.

So I went to prison at 17. And the day I walk out, I’m 25 and the only one there to meet me is my grandfather. Oh... and three bikers from the murdered man’s club. When grandpa and I get back home, the club breaks down my front door and demands answers. Answers I don’t have.

Then Ajax brings me something hoping I can identify it. I do know it but it could belong to a number of men on the biggest ranch in the area, the Double Bar Z. We both need more answers, answers for questions we can’t ask until we figure out what this town is hiding.

And its hiding something. Something that everyone knows but just won’t talk about and it has to do with the Double Bar Z ranch. Everything comes back to the Double Bar Z. What are they hiding in plain sight? Ajax and I both need to find out before someone else ends up dead and I have a feeling that someone might just be me.

  Fireball

The whole town we live in shares a secret we don’t have access to and when that secret got one of us killed. Eight years ago, we were lied to and we swallowed that lie. We buried our brother and hated the wrong woman it seems, for all this time.

Now we want the truth but the town won’t let us find it, or at least someone living here doesn’t want the truth known. Well, the town is going to find out the Thor’s Hammer MC doesn’t give up at the first sign of trouble.

This town is gonna have to make a choice, let the truth be known or go down in flames. We don’t quit and the truth will be uncovered.

Then she comes to us and we know there’s more trouble just behind her. Only problem we have to figure out is she part of what’s going on here or a victim of it?

  Karly

My hometown has a secret that everyone knows about but no one talks about. Well, they didn’t until eight years ago when the powers that be sent an innocent woman to prison for manslaughter.

She didn’t belong there but then neither did I. Someone in town wanted her watched and I had no say in it. On the day she got out, I was questioned but there was nothing to tell anyone.

Now they, whoever they are, want me to find out what’s going on. I don’t want to but I have no choice. At least I didn’t think I did, then I met him.

Maybe I do have a choice here. At least, I’m hoping I do. Maybe its time to rally the town to demand the truth.

  Stinger

As an MC, we were about to fight for the right to survive. We’d been here in this small town for years, when we lost a brother to what we thought was a skank of a woman. But when the truth finally comes out, we find she’d gone to prison for nothing but a bunch of lies. Lies, other people told to hide the town’s wealthy family secrets.

Now slowly, those secrets are coming to light. Those secrets could cost us more than our lives. To protect the innocents around us, we have to take them on and bring them down.

The trick will be to see who’s stronger and faster, us or them. But we got Wynette on our side and she knows the secrets this family is hiding. She’s got attitude but that’s ok, she’s on our side.

Then we come across her, Fallen. And she’s looking for answers to explain where her sister disappeared to ten years ago. Her sister is part of the secrets the Zetran family don’t want known. Her coming back could set off the war we’re determined to win.

  Fallen

I was just a kid when my sister disappeared. But she was more than just my sister, she was my twin. I came back here to try and find out what happened to her. I knew it wouldn’t be easy, she disappeared ten years ago, but I had to try.

I knew Jolene had been seeing someone but she never told me his name. After she was gone, we moved away as my mom was heartbroken but I think it was more than just that. My father had been forced to leave, I later found out.

What I didn’t know was who or why. Then I grew up and decided to come back, little did I know what I was walking into. I had a feeling there was going to be a war around me very soon and it would be bad.

Heaven help me, then I was snatched out of the jaws of death by one of the players, but was this a good thing or a bad thing? I guess only time will tell.

  Scenes from Fireball...

Joel watched her carefully, then he noted when she began to tremble.

Ajax noticed it as well. He hauled her over into his lap. “Just calm, it will be all right.”

She turned her head and shook it. “I don’t think it will be. Those woods hold some pretty terrible secrets.”

Ajax froze for a moment then asked, “What kind of secrets?”

“Your brother wasn’t the only one to die out there,” she whispered.

A heavy silence followed her statement.

“What does that mean exactly?” Joel frowned as he stared at her.

Wynette looked over at him. “Do you remember a girl named Jolene Whitmore, Papaw? You used to be friends with her grandfather.”

Joel nodded as his face took on a troubled look. “I do remember her. She ran away when you were about fifteen.”

Wynette shook her head as tears ran down her face. “She didn’t run.” Turning her head toward Ajax’s chest, she sobbed for a moment then wiped her eyes and finally told her long held secret, “She’d been seeing someone in secret for a few months. She was in love with him but he didn’t
love her back. He only used her.”

“How do you know that?” Racer asked.

Wynette looked up at him. “Because that morning when I saw them...I hid in the glades. He was screaming his hatred at her. He told her in no uncertain terms that he only used her body and then laughed at her expressions of love for him. Saying she was too young for him and he would never even be seen in public with her for a reason. She was nothing more than a piece of ass to him. Then she told him she was carrying his baby. That she would go to his grandfather with the news and see what he had to say.”

Joel’s brows rose at this news.

Wynette closed her eyes and shuddered. “I don’t think I will ever forget the look in his eyes that day. It was pure evil. He reached for her throat and he wouldn’t let go. She clawed and tried to scream but he wouldn’t let her go. He kept telling her she wouldn’t be telling his grandfather any of her lies. All he would have to do was deny it and his grandpa would believe him. He always did. He’d get her family run out of town and that he’d done it before.” Wynette was breathing heavily as she paused. “When she was no longer fighting him, he finally let her go. She crumbled to his feet like a piece of trash and he kicked her three times. When she didn’t move, he dragged her to the edge of the swamp and threw half of her body into the water. He turned around and just left her there.” Wynette went silent as she lowered her head.

Ajax just held her to him and smoothed her hair with his hand.

Finally, Joel asked her, “What happened after this, baby girl?”

She raised her head and swiped at the tears on her cheeks. “I waited a while it took me some time as I couldn’t stop crying. I knew this girl in school. I couldn’t believe what I just saw. Then I got up and went to where he just threw her away. I checked to make sure she was dead and she was. Her eyes were staring up when I turned her over.” Wynette shivered and rubbed her arms. “But then I knew I couldn’t just leave her there. I might never be able to tell anyone what I’d just seen but I could at least do what I could for her.” She shook her head. “I couldn’t let the gators get her. No one deserved that.”

“What did you do with her?” Ajax asked her in a soft tone.

“I found a small cave and I took her there. I buried her in the ground the best I could, piling her final place with stones I found. And I kept my mouth shut. I-I was very afraid of him. Afraid of what they might do to my family if I talked. I’ve never told anyone about that day but I stayed out of the woods for almost a year after that.”
