  All of them, slashed. Some of the canvases hung limp on the frames while other had huge gashes in the middle. Gaining some strength, she walked further, hoping only the first four paintings were ruined, but as she made her way to the next section of the Gallery, she saw that they had all been slashed.

  But it was only when she reached the last section of the Gallery that the world came crashing down on her. Her body went numb and she went cold. There were no tears. Only shock.

  On the far wall was a blown-up photo of her in the rapture of an orgasm. Her eyes were closed, and her lips parted in arousal.   “Harley?” April said as she came up beside her.

  “The guys,” Harley muttered. “Where are…?” She looked over her shoulder and saw them.

  “I must say,” Oak said. “It’s been an interesting experiment.”

  “On the one hand,” Zed said. “It’s been fascinating to see just how gullible you are. Kind of makes me wonder about all humans. Are you all so easy to entice, to win over?”

  “Of course, fucking a human has been interesting, too,” Red said. “I gotta hand it to you; for a human you’re not that bad.”

  “Indeed,” Kingsley said as he untangled himself from Cici’s hold and came to stand before Harley. “It has been a very eye-opening experience. We were surprised by how open you were. There was nothing that you wouldn’t do.”

  “Well,” Cici said, pulling him back. “That’s all over, and I think you finally get the message, Harley. There’s no way you can ever win here. There’s no way you can survive. So why don’t you take your silly little paintings and go home.”

  Ashley looked up at Oak. “I know this was all a game, but I still can’t believe you fucked someone from Spring.”

  Harley frowned in confusion.

  Red laughed. “Oh,” he said with feigned surprise as he looked straight at Harley. “Didn’t you know?”

  “Oh, right,” Kingsley said. “Turns out you’re a princess from Spring. I finally figured it out.”

  “A what?” she whispered.

  Zed and Red glared at her. “Our father is out there right now fighting your kingdom,” Zed said. “You’re the enemy and, damn, am I glad we ruined this day for you. I’m glad we fucked your brains out, and I hope to God that we’ve ruined your life, cause, you know what? If my father is hurt in this war, or heaven forbids if he dies…”

  He came up to her, looming over her as he huffed with anger. “I swear I’ll kill you, little human.”

  “If you know what is good for you,” Kingsley said. “Don’t come back next year or they will kill you.”

  Oakley added, “You are officially an enemy in the Land of Fall, Princess of Spring. If you set foot onto our campus, the student body have full permission and every right to kill you.”

  Chapter 19

  The Fallen Boys and their two bitches roamed through the trashed gallery, looking at their handiwork. They sneered, and smirked and patted each other on the back.

  “Harley,” April said. “Come on. Let’s leave. This is outrageous.”

  “No,” Harley said. “I’m not through with them.” Her initial shock and heartbreak set aside, Harley was filled with anger and a new sense of purpose.

  April cocked her head to the side as she looked at her then smiled. “What do you have in mind?”

  Harley looked around. “There,” she said softly as she headed to the desk set up at the front of the gallery. She grabbed a large pad of paper and a pencil.

  As quickly as she could, she sketched out images of the Fallen Boys. Naked, just as she remembered them, but she gave all the guys baby penises.

  “Oh, Harley,” April said with an amused snort. “That’s awful.”

  She then drew the girls. Nude except for old tattered bras and dirty underwear, they were unshaven and scratching themselves like apes. One had toilet paper on her shoe and the other had gum in her hair.

  “Cross your fingers and hope I get this right,” she told April.

  “I believe in you,” she said.

  “Believe in yourself,” Harley muttered to herself. Oh, yes, she thought. I do believe. If she was a princess from Spring in the Faery Realm, then she must have some faery blood in her. She must have some magic.

  Laughter suddenly erupted from the far section of the gallery.

  “Let’s go see,” April said, almost excited than Harley.

  Harley followed April to go see what was happening.

  As in her drawing, the guys all stood looking down at their tiny penises while the girls scratched their butts through their dirty underwear.

  Harley looked at them. “I can’t quit now,” she said to April. “I’m heartbroken over what they did to me. They did say I’m the Princess of Spring? What does that mean? Am I a changeling? Am I really fae and not human? What am I? I need to find out because how else can I just do what I did? Where did my magic come from?”

  Without saying it out loud, another thought came to mind. Why did they recruit me into Fallen Fae Academy for if they knew I was from Spring?

  Harley put on a brave face, smiled and said, “Don’t worry, April. I won’t quit school now. I have so many questions still and plans for more revenge. I can’t wait for next year and what I plan to do to them now that I know I’m not just a poor human but a powerful fae princess from Spring.”
