Then King Erik looked at his new queen and saw in her a beauty and a strength that emanated from within and he knew that it was through their gifts and shared love that the kingdom would be renewed. The king kissed his queen before the entire court, and the great walls of the castle echoed in thunderous cheers and applause.
King Erik and Queen Rosamund ruled the kingdom of Lothene through the new golden age, and their children grew up and reigned as kings and queens after them, and an age of peace descended upon Lothene that lasted for a hundred years.
