“I’m gonna come,” I whisper. Hans leans forward and catches my cry in his mouth as he pulls his hand away and pounds into me. When my body stops convulsing in pleasure, he pulls me up and turns me around, yanking my panties down and thrusting into me from behind. I lean on the desk, pressing my ass out to him and turning my head to watch him moving inside of me.

It doesn’t take long for him to grip my hips with his full strength and plunge deep, leaning forward to gently bite my shoulder through the dress as he pulses inside me. We’re breathing hard together, trying to catch our breath. After a few moments, he pulls out and runs a hand across my ass.

“I kind of like this,” he says, referring to his signature. “I think we should have it tattooed there.”

I laugh and turn to him, watching his handsome face as he bends to pull my panties back up and put himself away. I’m really going to need a visit to the bathroom before I can face my family again.

Hans takes my face and kisses me gently, his bright eyes boring into me. “I love you, Lanna.” My heart soars. I let out a laugh of joy.

“I love you, too.” I nip his bottom lip, making him growl. “Move in with me and Dev.”

He pulls back to peer down at me.

“I know it’s fast,” I say. “I don’t want to rush you, but—”

“Okay.” He grins. “And I guess it’s not really fast…considering. You’re all I’ve thought about for over a year.”

  “Same,” I whisper.

“I’m still a mess,” he says. “But I swear to you I’m trying my best. And I take my meds every day like a real man.” Hans grins.

I raise up on my toes to press a kiss to his lips. “We can do this, baby. One day, one moment at a time. Together.”

  “Together.”

  AUTHOR NOTE

I knew when Devlar was killed at the end of INTO THE STARS that our sweet, fun loving Rawko was about to go through some really hard times. As much as I didn’t want to write something dark and sad, I needed to honor the difficult journey that so many soldiers struggle through. My younger brother has PTSD from his Army time in Afghanistan, and I’ve seen what it did to him and his family. To all of us who love him.

  Thank you for reading.
