"I do. What a beyotch, huh?"

"Yeah, she is that, but that's not all. She has Christian."

The carpet shuddered again and shifted. “So I guess we have to go find him, then? I swear, every time we end up out of that damn bottle, we end up in a fix. I really kind of like just lying around the floor all the time, but nooooo. The master of all things magic can't keep his ass out of harm's way. I thought we were in for a nice rest after that wife of his and then you come along. Could I just get a moment's peace?"

Ahhh, it knew about Fatima. Interesting. “How about you tell me all about it while we go find him? I'd be happy to listen."

As the carpet lifted off and Felicity clung to it for dear life, she listened to the story of Fatima via Christian's magic carpet.

  * * * *

  "Are you on flippin’ crack?"

"No, no. I even gave up opium. ‘Just say no to drugs'."

  "I can't do that."

"Well, it doesn't look like we have a choice."

  "I'm petrified of heights."

"Look, I'll get you as close as I can. The rest is up to you. You have to jump, Felicity. There's just no other way."

Yeah and the rug was right. Christian was chained to a wall in Divinity's castle. Who owned a castle, for fuck's sake? He was in the turret. A turret surrounded by bars, maybe just big enough for Felicity to slip through if she sucked her gut in, but there was nowhere for the carpet to land. That meant she had to jump and cling to the bars, then squeeze through.

  "Are you ready, Felicity?"

"Look, do me a favor, okay? If I fall to my death, tell Christian he's still not out of the woods with me for being such a big, fat liar and I fully intend to hunt his ass down from the afterlife."

The carpet's chuckle almost made Felicity smile. “I'll do that."

Felicity blew out a breath of shaky air. “Okay, then let's do this."

As night fell, the sound of silence fell around them in a cloak of calm. Felicity tried to draw on that as the carpet hovered just close enough for her to slide to the edge and reach out to the bars.

"Whatever you do, you throw rug, don't move. Hear me?"

"I promise, if you begin to plunge to a possible death, I'm there. Whatever you do, don't look down."

Oh, God ... Felicity leaned forward as close as she could and touched the cold metal of the bars, gripping them with both hands. “Okay, here we go.” With a pull forward, she clung to them as she slid off the carpet and stuck her feet out so she could rappel against the side of the bars. She slammed into the metal with a grunt and wrapped her feet around them, shimmying upward to the window and pulling herself up with her arms so she could peek inside.

  "Nice job, F!"

Oh, oh, oh it was so high up. Her breathing became ragged and stuttered from her lips as she fought to ignore the height and instead focus on squeezing between the bars.

As she slipped through, the metal pressing against her hips, she looked into the window, holding her balance on the tiny outside ledge. Christian was chained to a wall, hanging precariously, head down.

  That fucking bitch...

Oh, but there was another problem. There was no inside damn ledge on the window! Jesus effin’ ... “Psst, Christian! Christian, look up."

Christian's head bobbed upward and Felicity saw him fight to bring her into focus.

"It's me, husband. F. Remember me? The chick you talked into believing you were married to me? I've come to save your lying ass."

His faint chuckle rumbled up to her ear, echoing in the cylinder shaped room.

"Any ideas on how I can get down there, lamb chop?"

  "There's no way down, F."

"Aw, c'mon, honey, don't be such a naysayer. How about a little support for your wife?"

He raised his bald head and smiled weakly. “I'm sorry, F. I never should have lied to you."

Her heart throbbed in her chest, seeing a man like Christian, so strong and powerful, now reduced to this. Why hadn't he used his magic to get him out of this? “We'll talk about that later, believe me we will. First, we have to get you out of this pinch. Now help me figure out just how the hell we're going to do that."

"Go back to Castoffsphere, Felicity. You can't help me,” he said as he let his head sink to his chest.

"What the fuck kind of attitude is that, Aladdin? Bullshit, we can do this! I can do this and I plan to do it before that diva shows up, so how about some support here."

"You don't have the power to do it, Felicity. There's no time to try and remember a spell now."

Nice way to treat the dyslexic witch. “Well, I say there is a way and if you'd quit being so negative, I'd figure it out. Why haven't you used your magic to get you out of this anyway?"

"I'm powerless. The handcuffs holding me to the wall are lead. Death to a genie. It strips me of all my magic.” His effort to speak was evident. His words were slow, slurred and left his mouth at a snail's pace.

Well, wasn't that just fucking ducky? “Then all you have is me and we'd better hurry up before the wicked witch of the west shows up."

"You can't do it, F. You're not capable."

And who the hell was he? “Hey, wanna do me a favor, Mr. Negativity? Summon up the God of cheerleading and give me one of those rah-rah's you're so damn good at when I'm trying to cast a spell!"

"You can't do it, F, so go away and don't come back. Divinity will tire of this and take me down soon enough. She wants me, F, in more ways than one."

Hold on. Did that mean she wanted him in a carnal way? That was wrong on more levels than Felicity cared to count. He was her daughter's husband! Anger welled, clouding her vision and making her head spin. “Are we talking about what I think we're talking about here, snookums?"

His sigh was long and came out in a broken fit of air. “Yes ... now go home."

"Frig that. I'll go home when I want to!"

Christian's chest expanded in what looked like one last effort to chase her away. “Go-home-F!"

Whatever had been doing the exorcist thing to her took over again, throwing her into a fury like she hadn't known in quite sometime.

  So she jumped.

As she sailed downward, cursing Christian the entire way, it was as if she had a parachute on her back and it had popped open. Felicity was able to control it, hover, drift, speed up, slow down.

Holy Boeing seven-forty-seven ... She was so overjoyed that she'd done it, she soared around the circle of the turret, watching the gray bricks as they zoomed past her.

  She could fly...

"Hey, Peter Pan! Cut it out and come get me out of this."

Christian caught her attention and she floated toward him, hovering over a wrist encased in metal. Focusing all her energy on the handcuff, she aimed it at the bolt on the lead bracelet and it popped open.

  Just like that.

Christian see-sawed and flopped to an angle. He gritted his teeth and bit off a yelp.

"Grab onto my waist and hang on,” Felicity said as she hovered over his other arm. “When I get this one off of you, you'll fall if you don't."

His arm came around her and he clung to her waist.

"Hang on, Christian. Hang on tight,” she warned as she focused on the last shackle. Beads of sweat popped out on her upper lip and her head throbbed as she did whatever had worked before. There was no explanation and no time to think of one now.

The handcuff let loose with a crack and a shudder and then, both of Christian's arms were around her. He sagged against her and her arms went around him. Relief flooded her and as her anger subsided, they began to plummet downward.

  Like fast.

It was like every nightmare she'd ever had, dying in a blaze of screeching air rushing around her with nothing to catch her. She would have screamed if terror didn't prevent it.

But suddenly, something was beneath them and as Felicity opened her eyes, she realized it was the carpet.

Flopping forward, she kissed it, resting her cheek against the soft
fibers. “Oh, thank God! Wait a minute, where the hell did you come from? How did you get in here and why didn't you do this sooner? I could have used a little help, ya know?"

  "He called me."

Felicity sat upright and grabbed Christian's jaw. “You called it? Why didn't you call it sooner?"

His gray-blue eyes twinkled. “I couldn't. No magic, remember?"

"But it could get in here,” she admonished. “Why didn't it get in here while I was doing the flying Wallenda thing? You know I'm afraid of heights!"

"How about we go home and talk about that?"

Nodding her head in the affirmative, she said, “Oh, yes. We're going to do plenty of that, David Copperfield. Trust me."

  "F?"

  "What?"

"Are we going to have a fight?"

"Yep. Get ready for a real Killa in Manila."

"Fine, but can we have makeup sex afterward?"

"Ohhhhhhhhhhh, I'm going to kill you!"

He chuckled and pulled her into his arms, stronger now because he was free of the shackles. “C'mon, wife. Let's go home so we can fight and make up."

  "Honey?"

  "Yes, dear?"

  "About that wife thing..."

Christian's laughter, hearty and deep, spilled out into the Milky Way, as he snapped his fingers and they shot through the wall of the castle as if it were an open window.

  Epilogue

  "Husband?"

  "Wife?"

"If I'm more genie than witch and you're all genie, what will that make our child? Is there a chance this poor girl or boy could be more witch than genie? God, that would so suck because I can't help with the witch stuff, obviously."

Christian pulled her closer to him and inhaled the freshly washed scent of her hair as they lounged. He burrowed his face in her neck, relishing the press of her now pregnant body to his. Running his hand over her belly, he smiled at his luck.

Oh what a difference a year made.

"I don't know, honey, but we have forces from both sides should the witch half of this match made in heaven need it."

Felicity held him close as he nudged her billowy nightgown out of the way and captured a nipple, stroking it with his tongue. Her groan was music to his ears, but it didn't stop her from yakking.

"Who would have thought I had some genie in me? I'd have never guessed that my great-grandmother was such a ... well, you know..."

Christian lifted the hem of her nightgown and caressed the soft skin of her thighs, running his fingers over the outer lips of her pussy with a whisper. Her legs opened to him, a familiar gesture now, but no less exciting each and every time Felicity acquiesced. “Well, after meeting her, I think I can see where you got your short fuse."

Wrapping her arms around his neck, she pulled him up to meet her lips. “I do not have a short fuse, genie."

He licked at her lower lip and slid a finger in her, using slow, gentle strokes as he laughed at her protest. “Oh, yes you do, genie. What do you think is the fuel that stokes that magic hand of yours?"

Felicity used that magic hand to slip into his pants and stroke his cock, hard and burning to be in her. “I don't mean for it to happen that way. It just does. You should be kissing my feet, genie. If not for me, you'd still be with that nutcase Divinity."

Groaning, Christian had to admit she was right. Together, he and F had summoned the Djinn and came to find that because Fatima hadn't left a will, Divinity had no rightful claim to Christian. Divinity was now serving time in a bottle of her own...

He was Felicity's free and clear. That was until they'd found out Felicity was a genie too—to a degree anyway. It had proven once and for all that he wanted only Felicity—not just his freedom. He no longer needed her to stay out of his bottled prison. It meant they were on equal footing and no ownership was due.

Not that he would have minded if Felicity had ended up his master, so to speak. She owned him anyway.

  She owned his heart.

"Don't get too big for your britches there, Mrs. Genie. You won the battle, not the war,” he teased as she arched into his hand.

Her groan made it clear what was next. They were going to do the “you won't love me when I'm fat” thing. “I am too big for my britches, honey! I swear, just yesterday I was able to wear those damn jeans I found at the bottom of my drawer and today, no go. I'm going to be a big, beached whale and—"

Christian took her lips to shut her up and between kisses he said, “No, F. You'll always be beautiful. More so because that's my genie you're lugging around. Now quit complaining and let's get to the connubial bliss."

Sighing against him, she trailed a finger along his chest. “Oh, fine, but just you remember how forgiving I can be when I'm obese and you think I'm ugly."

Indeed his wife could be forgiving. He had, after all, lied through his teeth to stay out of his bottle, but he'd only lied about F being his wife. The rest was all true.

A year later, it was truer still.

He loved Felicity more with each day that they shared and he found himself humbled more by the coming child they'd created.

"Woman, I won't hear the ugly spiel again. Hush and make love to me. It's always so much nicer when your lips are flapping around mine..."

Giggling, Felicity snuggled closer to him as he tugged her nightgown off and withdrew his finger from her, replacing it with his tongue. Her legs wrapped around his neck as he flicked his tongue over her clit, ran his lips over the soft flesh of her cunt.

The taste of her made his cock rage and his tongue itch to drive into her. He reached upward and cupped a full breast, flitting his fingers over her nipple as he took long strokes of her pussy.

He knew her body language now and when she came, he continued to lick her until her hips slowed and her hands were on his shoulders, pulling him to meet her.

Kneeling between her creamy thighs, he ran his hands over the small mound of her belly lovingly. The belly she made such a big deal of. Her skin glowed in the soft late afternoon light and her hair fell around her shoulders in waves of auburn, threaded with gold.

Sometimes, since they'd found out about her pregnancy, it was all he could do to hold back his desire for her. Christian tried to be as gentle as possible for fear of hurting her, but her beauty overwhelmed him.

She was simply breathtaking and he found it near impossible to keep his hands off of her.

"It's all right, genie. You won't hurt me...” she whispered, making his cock harden and his heart slap against his chest.

He pulled her hips forward and let the tip of his cock tease her slick entrance. Felicity's pelvis rose, encouraging him to enter her. She ran her hands along his forearms and groaned when he slid into her with the utmost of care.

Her slick entrance gripped his shaft, milking him as he stroked her, making him groan. Gripping her knee with one hand, he strayed again to her clit with the other, stroking the swollen nub in rhythm with the strokes of his cock.

Her tight, wet passage was hot and he fought to maintain control until he heard the familiar catch of her breath, signaling her orgasm. Pulling her to him, he rolled them to face one another as Felicity slung a leg over his hip.

Christian cupped her face, kissing her eyelids and thrusting into her with gentle glides, reaching down and clutching her ass so they ground, hip to hip, against one another.

Her small whimper sent him over the edge and into a place he'd never tire of.

They found release in unison, pressed together as close as two lovers can be. The hard surge of orgasm shot from his cock in jerky spurts, stealing the breath from his lungs.

"Whew, magic man ... you do realize that's what got us into this predicament, don't you?"

The soft swell of her belly heaving against his was all the predicament he could have ever hoped for. “Well, I do have the magic touch,” he chuckled.

"It's a good thing I love you, Sinbad, or I'd be pretty upset about my clothes not fitting."<
br />
"Well, in light of the fact that I love you too—as you expand, I'd be happy to loan you my genie pants. I'm a good sharer that way."

Felicity laughed. “I will not wear genie pants. They make my thighs look fat. Oh, and I'm not vacationing in some bottle either. However, I could really do with a magic carpet. Now that's a cool gig."

"Until then, you can ride on my magic carpet anytime you want, wife."

"Thanks, husband. Oh and if you think I'm going to be some subservient wench like that Jeannie was, forget it. There is no way I'm calling you or anyone else ‘Master'."

"But, honey, it makes me rage with lust when you use that word..."

  "Lust this, magic man."

Christian laughed and pulled Felicity closer. “Hush, wife. Let's practice for the next little genie making session."

  "Husband?"

  "Yes, dear?"

"I think we've practiced about as much as we need to. How do you feel about a brood of little genies?"

  "What?"

"Turns out that magic wand of yours packs a powerful punch..."

  "Um, wife?"

  "Yes, dear?"

  "Explain."

  "Can you say twins?"

  "No we did not..."

"Yes, yes we did. Girls in fact. Probably two just like me..."

  "Wife?"

  "Husband?"

"How's that spell for pharmaceuticals working out? Have you gotten to the letter ‘V’ for Valium yet?"

Felicity laughed and pulled him to her with a sigh.

Christian smiled with contentment into her neck. Not even the idea of twins could thwart his happiness.

  Yep, life was good.

  Very good, indeed.
