She’s mine now. She’s really truly mine.

There’s no going back. Her cunt curves to the shape of my cock and it always will.

She’s taking quick hurried breaths as she gets used to my size. I kiss her face and her neck. My bear perks up when I get close to the spot that’s destined for our mark.

She’s feeling enough right now, I tell him. Back off.

He sinks back down with a pissed-off grunt, but he knows I’m right. She’s clinging onto my body. My huge size is taking everything she has.

When her warm cunt starts to loosen a little, I rock back and forth, easing in and out of her to help loosen her up more.

“Oh, Jacob,” she pants with a wild look on her face. “This is how I always want us to be.”

“It will be, baby,” I promise her. “This is how we belong together.”

We kiss as I start to slowly drag my cock out, loving every soft inch of her pussy. It sends shivers snaking down my spine. My balls ache they’re so full.

I can’t take my eyes off her as I start sliding in and out at a slow gentle pace. Her eyes are glazed over with passion, her tits swaying with the rhythm. She clings onto me as I quicken the pace, fucking her a little harder to test out her cunt.

She’s no weakling and takes everything I give her like a champ. It’s not long before I’m driving my hips in hard, thrusting in and out of her wet heat as she cries out for more.

“You’re so fucking sexy,” I tell her as I hold myself up with my arms and gaze down at her muscular body. “I love the shape of you. I could stare at you for hours.”

She drags her hands down my chest and over my abs. “You’re so hot,” she says with a whimper.

I want to see her from every angle. I want to see her getting fucked from every position. But more than anything, I want to see those big tits bouncing in front of my face while she rides my pole.

I slide my arms under her and pick her up with a grunt. My cock is lodged deep inside of her and I keep it that way as I carry her off the bed and fall back onto the chair. She’s on top of me now and my hands are free to explore her sweet body as she starts bouncing up and down, riding my thick cock.

I grab her big tits, massaging them and playing with her hard nipples as her pussy slides up and down my dick. Juices leak out like a pipe burst inside her. It covers my balls with its sticky sweetness.

I sit back and enjoy the view, letting her take control and ride me at a speed she’s comfortable with.

But the urge to breed her doesn’t go away. It builds and builds until I lose control with the need to claim her womb. She gasps as I pick her up and bring her back to the bed. This time, I’m not going easy on her. This time, I’m letting her have it.

She cries out and screams my name as I thrust in hard, fucking her pussy relentlessly with my big dick. I slam it into her cunt over and over until she’s throwing her head back and cumming all over me.

I grit my teeth as her pussy clamps down on my shaft, squeezing and pulsing and cumming on a cock for the first time.

It feels so good that it sets me off. I feel the orgasm raging forward in a blaze of heat. With my teeth gritted and my body flexed, I thrust in hard and keep my cock as close to her womb as possible and let go.

“Oh, Jacob!” she screams as I fill her virgin pussy with a hot load of cum.

The intensity kills me. It makes me shaky all over as my seed is transferred to her womb. I pray that it gets there. I want her bred more than anything.

We both collapse on the bed, sweating and trembling and gasping for breath.

Her hand finds mine and she entwines our fingers. We turn and look at each other, shocked and euphoric and knowing that nothing will ever be the same again.

We’re more than mates now. We’re lovers. We’re soul mates. We’re all that matters.

And I don’t know about her, but I’ve never been happier.

  Chapter Eight

  Jacob

“What do you mean they’re coming here?” Cameron asks with a shocked look on his face. “Burton is coming here?!”

Roman puts his hand up. “What do you mean you found your mate?” he asks, looking confused.

Easton shakes his head as he stares at me. “You’re going to have to back way up, bro.”

I take a deep breath and lean against the counter as my three brothers watch me from the kitchen table. I did kind of burst in like a whirlwind, spouting all kinds of things while they were in the middle of breakfast.

Bailey walks in and jerks her head back when she sees me. “Jacob! What is this I hear about you and the new firefighter attacking Quinton and Grey and then escaping together?”

  Roman’s eyes widen. “What?!”

Cameron drops his head into his hands. “Do we have any stronger coffee?”

I pour myself a cup and then sit down at the table with them. I would have loved to have stayed in that hotel with Alyssa until the end of time, but I couldn’t risk being away from the ranch in case Burton and the Lone Wolf Mercenaries showed up. My brothers need my help and I had to warn them.

Alyssa wanted to come, but I refused. It’s too dangerous for her here, so I had to drop her off at her apartment. God, what torture that was.

I tell Bailey and my brothers everything that happened in the past twenty-four hours from hearing about the Lone Wolf Mercenaries from Enzo, to finding my amazing mate, the brawl with the firecunts, and then the escape with Alyssa.

“I beat it out of the two wolf shifters,” I tell them. “They said Dylan Burton is still alive and he’s going to arrive soon.”

“Soon?” Cameron says as he grabs a fistful of his hair. “How soon? I have a pregnant mate upstairs!”

“Two days,” I tell them. “Maybe more. Maybe less. I don’t know how reliable those skeevy wolf shifters were.”

Roman turns to Bailey with a desperate look on his face. “Go pack your bags. You’re going to have to leave town with the girls until this blows over.”

She crosses her arms as she gets red in the face. “I’m not going anywhere!”

“Please,” he begs. “You can’t stay here. These are killers, Bailey.”

“I’ll call my brother,” she says defiantly. “Enzo will come help.”

“That’s still only one more against an army of wolf shifters,” Roman says.

“And a very pissed-off, possibly immortal polar bear shifter,” Easton adds. “I threw that fucker off a cliff!”

“Well, he survived,” I say. “And he wants payback.”

The mood is somber in the room as we all let the news sink in. We all jump when the doorbell rings.

“Geez,” I say, getting up with my heart pounding. “Who is here at this hour?”

Moose leaps up to my side and follows me to the door. I catch a faint whiff of her scent before I see her and my heart beats even harder.

“What are you doing here?” I ask when I open the door and see Alyssa’s gorgeous face. “It’s not safe.”

“Maybe,” she says with a shrug. “But by your side is where I belong. If I can help out in any way—”

I wrap my arms around her in a big hug, cutting her off. I hate that she’s here, but I’m so happy to see her. It was torture not breathing in her alluring scent, touching her soft skin, or seeing her stunning smile.

“Who’s this?” she asks when I release her and Moose jumps between us, wagging his long tail.

  “Alyssa, meet Moose.”

Moose looks thrilled to see her. He’s not the only one.

She pets his big head and he licks her face.

“How did you know where to find me?”

She gives me a mischievous grin. “I have my ways.”

  “How?”

She laughs. “I got it from Enzo. He texted it to me.”

I guess that man isn’t that bad.

“Come,” I say as I grab her hand. “I want to introduce you to—”

The rumbling sound of motorcycles hits my ears as I’m a
bout to pull her in. No…

It’s low at first, so low that Alyssa can’t even hear it, but it begins to build and build like a crescendo until all I hear is a thunderous roaring of engines.

My brothers hear it too. The three of them are at my side, watching the road as a huge cloud of dust approaches.

“Bailey!” Roman shouts in a panic. “Get upstairs and lock the door!”

“Go with her!” I snap as I grab Alyssa’s wrist and yank her inside.

Bailey pulls out her phone as she runs up the stairs. “I’m calling my brother!”

“I’ll stay here,” Alyssa says as her hands squeeze into fists. “I can fight.”

She’s amazing. She’s already willing to put her life on the line for me. For us.

But I can’t let her do it. “Go upstairs with the girls,” I beg her. “You can protect them.”

She doesn’t want to leave, but the look I give her tells her there will be no compromising. Reluctantly, she kisses my cheek and darts up the stairs.

I turn my attention back outside and see what my brothers are already witnessing. They’re on the porch watching as dozens of motorcycles spill onto the ranch, each with a Lone Wolf Mercenary riding on it.

“I hope you boys ate your Wheaties,” I say as I roll out my shoulders getting ready for action.

  “There’s Burton,” Easton says.

I spot him immediately. The old grizzled polar bear shifter winds his motorcycle through the crowd and emerges at the head of the pack.

My jaw clenches as I squeeze my hands into fists. My eyes narrow into tunnel vision as rage pumps through my veins. How dare he come to our place where our mates are. He’s a dead man. Him and every other piece of shit he brought here.

The rumbling lowers as the shifters turn off their engines and get off their bikes. There are so many of them. Too many.

Or, maybe not nearly enough. The one advantage we have is that we’re fighting for our mates and they’re fighting for revenge or money if Burton has to resort to paying them. The odds always favor mates fighting for love over any numbers.

“The Dixon brothers,” Burton says, relishing the moment with an evil grin. “I’ve been eager to see you boys again.”

“How the fuck are you still alive?” Cameron asks with a fierce look.

Burton grins. “Landed in a huge oak tree. Practically split it in two. I survived. It didn’t.”

“So happy to hear that,” Roman says with a sneer.

I can smell my brothers’ bears close to the surface. Mine is hovering close to. We’re going to need them all with all those wolves to contend with.

“So thoughtful of you to come see us so we can finish the job,” I tell him.

“You Dixon boys always were too cocky for your own good.” Burton puffs out his chest and glances over his shoulder at the three dozen shifters behind him. He nods to his men and they start kicking off their boots and slipping their leather cuts off.

One of them to the right bursts into his wolf form. He lowers his head and snarls at us. Another one in the back phases, then another, and another. Soon, they’re all exploding into a sea of wolves. They snarl and growl as they pace around, watching us.

“I hate this,” Easton whispers. “Our girls are inside.”

“Then let’s be sure they don’t make it past us,” I say as I roll my shoulders.

  “Bears?” Roman asks.

“Mine is pretty fucking furious right now,” Cameron says. “He’s dying to get out.”

I nod my head. “Mine too. Let’s teach them what happens when they fuck with a Kodiak’s mate.”

“Good plan,” Easton says. “Make sure they never come back.”

Burton smells the air and grins. “Those bears smell familiar.” The fucker is loving this. “Looks like it’s going to be a furry reunion.”

He yanks off his leather cut and begins to swell up. His muscles balloon and then long white fur sprouts from his tight skin. With a loud tear, his furious polar bear explodes out of him with a roar.

Burton’s bear always was a mean one. I always wondered how I would stack up against him in a fight to the death. I guess I’m about to find out.

“I’ll take Burton,” I growl as my eyes are locked on his snarling bear.

“All right,” Cameron says with a nod. “Let’s maim these fucking dogs.”

My bear is thrashing around inside, agitated as all hell that these men are so close to our girl. I can feel the rage flowing through me and for once, I amp it up.

  They’re trying to kill her.

  He growls in outrage.

  Show them no mercy.

I know that he won’t. I suck in a breath and let him come.

My muscles burn as he rages forward like an angry bull. He bursts out of me as my brothers phase as well.

Without waiting a second, he bounds down the steps and charges at Burton with murderous intent.

  Chapter Nine

  Alyssa

“What’s happening?” Ivy asks as she rubs her eyes in the hallway. “Who is she?”

“Alyssa,” Bailey quickly explains. “Jacob’s mate.”

A girl who must be Mary walks out of the room, cradling her pregnant belly. “Jacob found his mate? Oh, hi!”

Bailey snaps them out of it and explains what’s happening.

I’m a ball of nerves. I hate being up here when Jacob and his brothers could use my help.

“Enzo is leaving right now,” Bailey says as she nervously bites her nails. “He’s bringing the whole crew.”

“Is there a window that looks out the front?” I ask.

Without answering, Bailey runs down the hall and into a room. I quickly follow her with Moose close on my heels.

“Oh, shit,” she gasps when she looks out of the large window.

I’m terrified to look, but I do. It’s not good.

There are so many of them. Motorcycles and wolves everywhere. A huge polar bear stands at the front, snarling as four large Kodiak bears charge forward and crash into them.

I know immediately which one is Jacob’s bear. He lunges on the polar bear and the two start battling savagely as cold chills rack my body. I can hear the horrible noises from here.

The wolves swarm the other three bears, leaping on their backs as they snap and claw at our men. Ivy screams beside me. Mary is crying.

One of the bears goes down as five wolves leap onto him. This is not good.

I turn back to my man and he’s locked onto the polar bear. Jacob swipes him with his big paw, nailing him in the face. There’s already a red blood spot on the polar bear’s ribs, staining his white fur red.

“I have to go help,” I mutter as I look around the room for a weapon.

Bailey grabs my wrist. “There’s nothing you can do, Alyssa. They’re shifters. They’ll slice you up. Where the hell is my brother?”

The bear that got tackled is back on his feet, swiping and snarling at the circling wolves. The three bears regroup and keep their backs together so the wolves are forced to attack from the front, which is a lot harder and more deadly. There are already four or five dead wolves lying in the dirt with pools of blood leaking out from them.

“Easton is limping!” Ivy says with a gasp. I put my arm on her shoulder and she lets out a sob.

Moose is going crazy in the room. He’s pacing around and barking like mad. He wants to go help his masters but he won’t last two seconds against one of those large wolves.

My eyes dart back to Jacob. He lets out a furious growl as the polar bear chomps on the back of his leg.

“That’s it,” I hiss through gritted teeth. “I’m going out there.”

The three girls stare at me in horror as I charge across the room, desperately looking for a weapon. The lamp? No. God, there’s got to be something…

I open the closet and get a jolt of adrenaline when I see a baseball bat leaning against the wall. I throw the leather glove off and grab it.

  It’s not much against
a wolf or a polar bear, but I’ll never forgive myself for not helping if something happens to my man.

“Alyssa,” Bailey says as I head for the door. I turn and look at her. “Good luck.”

I nod and race out, closing the door behind me to keep Moose inside. Like it or not, he’s the girls’ last defense if these wolves overrun our guys.

I take the stairs two at a time and burst out the front door. Jacob and Burton’s bears are the closest to me. The horrible sounds of howling, snarling, yelping, and growling make my skin crawl. I ignore all that and tighten my grip on the bat.

Jacob’s Kodiak is grappling with Burton’s polar bear on the ground. Both of their fur is matted with blood. When Jacob smells me, it distracts him for a second. He looks at me and the polar bear takes the opportunity and rolls on top of him. He throws back his head, opens his jaws, and lunges at Jacob’s bear’s neck.

“Nooo!” I run and swing the bat as hard as I can. It slams into the side of his head with a dong. He stumbles back and Jacob leaps on top of him.

That worked out well, but I got more trouble coming. Several wolves break off from the pack and head my way. I swing the bat in warning as I try to back toward the house, but they cut me off, circling around me.

One large one with blood leaking out of his missing eye snaps at me with a snarl. I swing my bat at him and the one behind me lunges forward and nearly takes a bite out of my thigh. I turn and swing the bat, barely grazing his hind leg as he retreats.

Jacob has his paws full with the polar bear and I’m about to be swarmed when the blaring of a siren catches the wolves’ attention. They perk up and regroup as my old firefighting crew barrels onto the ranch in the firetruck I used to ride in.

I watch in awe as Brees heads straight for them. The wolves leap out of the way in terror, scattering around the ranch.

Enzo, Quinton, Brees, and Grey leap out of the truck to help. They all phase into their grizzly bears, except for Grey who looks very happy to be fighting in his human form. He grabs an axe off the side of the truck and struts onto the battlefield like he owns the place.

Jacob and Burton’s bears back away from each other and the two sides regroup. I rush over to them.
