Boom! The sound of a massive body falling to the ground sounded as the figure of Treantous could now be seen standing on the top of his defeated opponent his eyes wandering across the sky as exclaimed, “How could they be here?”

Zyne, Demetria, Leon, and Myria also revealed expressions of surprise as they knew how hard it was for someone to find another inside of the cloud sea, they soon after cleared their thoughts, as they finally realized that this scene was more than it initially seemed.

Swish! Swish! Boom! A beam of light flashed for a moment before crashing within a large group of hawkmen who instantly became burnt into flames, moments later the flames gathered around the silhouette of a golden-haired youth who walked from its core at a steady pace.

“Hmph! Services you right!” Feng Yu said as he glanced towards the corpses belonging to two of the hawkmen that were previously chasing him, his eyes then wandered towards the massive amounts of Dark Birdmen who blocked out the sky with a sharp light in his eyes. “It seems that we were right…”

The Dark Birdmen Unit Leader ruthlessly glanced around the scene below him, his eyes eventually falling on the figure of Felman who stood suspiciously close to the incubator.

He frowned as he saw that Felman had ignored his words with his head still held down as if he was mumbling something.

Not paying attention to the native army the unit leader yelled, “Aren't you the leader of the Hawkmen tribe? To think your plots run so deep, how did your kind manage to steal the artifact from our Origin Nest?”

Zyne hearing this frowned as he pondered, “What’s going on? Are they not working together?”

“None of that matters, we need to reorganize our men and prepare for the worst,” Demetria said with an in-depth look in her eyes as she glanced across the battle zone at the distracted hawkmen and natives.

“Right! But first I will take away the artifact before they can retrieve it…” Zyne said as he prepared to rush towards the incubator but was suddenly interrupted by the voice of Jing Mingyun, “Everyone do not resist! The enemy is about to play off their trump card, I shall guide you all to safety!”

As she said this, her voice resonated within not only Zyne's but all of the individuals belonging to the native army. Demetria, Leon, Myria, and Zyne along with the alliance leaders looked around the area in shock as they didn’t even notice when she had vanished from the battlefield while Feng Yu smiled at the sudden change. “It’s time to see what they were really up to…”

Instantly, a strange white energy swept across all of the allied member's bodies followed the voice of Jing Mingyun, “Fate’s Illusion…”

After hearing this, their bodies had quickly begun to grow illusory soon after vanishing from existence.

Not long later, the alliance leaders along with its members abruptly appeared within a strange white space, a place that seemed to be disconnected from all things, a series of complex runes where flickering above this space as a massive wheel with even more runic writings continuing to spin in a clockwise manner.

“This is….” Zyne and Demetria each had a look of shock on their faces as they realized what this space was, while Feng Yu glanced around with surprise and curiosity.

“What kind of ability is this?” He pondered while looking at the scene around him as if she could read his mind the figure of Jing Mingyun suddenly appeared at his front as she looked towards the scene below her and spoke. “It is an Innate Skill… or rather, a recently awakened Divine Ability of my Dragonic Heritage…”

Feng Yu was about to ask some more questions, but before he could do so Jing Mingyun had spoken once more, “They are about to act…”

Hearing this Feng Yu, Zyne and the others moved their eyes towards a scene being below them as they were actually still within the area, only at a place far above the battlefield hidden within a strange type of space…

The Dark Birdmen Unit Leader was now utterly furious as he saw that Felman was still ignoring his presence, but what was usually remained odd was that neither he nor those of both hawkmen and bird clan noticed the disappearance of natives along with Feng Yu and the others.

The clouds shook as the heavens trembled as pointed his claw-like fingers towards the ground and commanded, “You dare to ignore me! Kill them all!!”

“Wuaaaaa!!!” The Dark Birdmen roared as they swarmed towards the previously battling hawkmen who now each had a look of confusion within their eyes, with an immense speed the Dark Birdmen army charged as their unit leader also made his move. He flapped his dark feather wings causing his body to transform into a dark ray light which instantly appeared before the mumbling Felman.

“Accept your death!” The Unit Leader roared as he ruthlessly slashed his claws towards Felman’s chest, a cruel light shining in his eyes as he could already picture the sight of Felman’s end.

Puff! The caw pierced right through Felman’s chest ripping out his still beating heart before crushing into to meat paste, as the unit leader saw this, he felt contented, he was about to remove his arms to reach for the Spiritual Bird Egg's incubator inside of the pillar but was soon disrupted by an unusual change…

Felman whose chest was still pierced through by the claws suddenly lifted his head gazed into the eyes of the unit leader, a sinister looking smile forming on his face as his eyes radiated an unusual but oddly familiar kind of coldness.

“You!” The unit leader exclaimed in shock as he was completely surprised by the scene before him, he was about to react by attacking again, but sadly Felman gave him no chance.

“Now we can all die together… fear not for our deaths will be our ancestor's true glory…” As he said this, his cold voice seemed to have an unusual trance-like effect as all fiends and hawkmen could hear it within the vicinity. However, the expressions of the faces of battling Ancient Hawkmen who struggled against the assaulting fiends from the Dark Birdmen Clan turned into that of a look of acceptance as if they had known this beforehand.

“Felman!! What are you doing?!” The Unit Leader roared as he tried to pull his arms out of his chest, but it seemed as though Felman’s hand had acquired an unusual strength as it firmly held him in place.

“Let the Ritual of Blood Begin!” Felman roared as his eyes became a shade of red along with each of the battling hawkmen within the area, their bodies soon after glowing in a red light which created a stream of energies that swept towards the pillar of wood beside them.

Buzz! Following a loud noise, the runes on the pillar began to shine in the same ominous reddish light as the hawkmen followed by the Spiritual Bird Egg's incubator which now began to hover while rotating.

Swoosh! An unusual current soon after formed creating a strong pulling force which dragged the bodies of both the hawkmen and dark birdmen experts towards the floating artifact.

“Argh!!” One of the Dark Birdmen wailed as his body began to distort stretching to pieces as it was sucked into the incubator, the members of the hawkmen tribe seemed to have become entranced as even in suffering the same kind of death none of them screamed to signify them feeling pain.

The stronger Felman along with the Bird clan unit leader were capable of resisting the pressures of the pull for a fair amount of time, as the leader looked around at the dying elite members of Bird clan a look of sorrow rage came into his eyes as he glared at Felman before yelling, “You bastard! So, this was your plan, you actually believe that with our sacrifice we will be able to hatch the new blood!!! You fool you’ve don’t nothing but made us die a useless death!!”

As Felman heard his words, his maddened state seemed to have become calmer as he laughed while slowly relaxing his energies used to resist the pull of the artifact. “Hahaha!”

“You this is funny! Do you know what you’ve done to this zone? Do you know what will happen once this end?” The unit leader cursed as he heard Felman’s laughter.

“You still don’t get it, do you… all of this is for a greater cause, and I will say it once again this not my plan but ra
ther…” As Felman said this, a new voice could be heard reverberating around the chaotic surroundings. “The plan of the great lord himself!”

Suddenly, two powerful looking Dark Birdmen appeared; one being clad in a strange purple feather armor with golden lines while the other had normal dark feathers with the only uniqueness about him being his silver crown on his head.

The unit leader upon hearing the voice glanced towards the sky at the two figures in silence, his eyes now carrying a look of shock as stuttered, “Lord… lord Sky Watcher!”

  Chapter 155

  The Sky Watcher’s Plot!

The area now carrying a depressing feeling as only the sounds of dying hawkmen and bird clan elites could be heard along with whistling winds of energies being swept towards artifact’s core.

The Unit Leader continued to stare at the figures in the sky with shock as he couldn’t believe that the Sky Watcher had betrayed them. The Sky-Watcher seeing his expression smiled as he walked before the special looking dark feathered birdman who previously spoke upon their arrival.

“There is no reason to give me that look, this should have been expected. While I may have been Falcoy’s most trusted aid, we had our disagreements. If he had accepted my proposition many years ago, we wouldn’t have been trapped by those bastards in this prison realm to rot away along with these filthy natives…”

As he spoke to himself, he pointed his fingers towards floating artifact that was continuously gobbling up the life energies along with the bodies of the struggling birdmen and hawkmen. His eyes glowing in an excited light as he continued to speak once again, “The Spiritual Bird Egg is the legacy of this ancient realm… as it only created by the Sea of Chaos only once per myriad of generation. In the distant past, the first egg had managed to hatch becoming the great Primordial Emperor Crow successfully… because of this, it was born supreme and unfettered untied to anyone's control as it freely wanders the multiple realms as a sacred protector beast… now that we have been blessed with another egg of this nature, it is only natural that we hatch it and use it for own devices… hahaha! With this power, I will be able to not only escape this cursed prison realm but sweep away all our foes and eventually earning my place among those at the top of the food chain!”

“Cough!” The unit leader of the bird clan coughed out a mouthful of blood before he glared at The Sky Watcher's face and cursed, “Pelkan! Do you believe that our Sky Commander will forgive your betrayal due to your foolish act of greed?”

“Hahaha! Falcoy, why should I fear his rage? Hmph! By the time this era’s trial ends, I would've long been gone with my forces.” After Pelkan said this, his eyes grew cold as he looked at the dying Felman and commanded, “Now then, do it!”

Felman who had been watching the proceedings finally looked at Pelkan and spoke, “My part of the deal is done… will you keep your part of the bargain?”

Peklan hearing this frowned but as he glanced at Felman’s destroyed chest and fading lifeforce he smiled menacingly and replied, “Eh? I wonder what kind of promise you are referring to, Felman? I don’t recall forming any major agreements with your kind?”

“You! How can you say this? You promised me! You promised my entire race!! To find our offsprings scattered among that desolate universe and allow them to follow you on your path to glory!”

The dying hawkmen who had now almost complete faded couldn’t help but carry looks of regret on their faces as they used the last bit of strength of willpower to glare at the figure of Pelkan in anger.

  “You bastard!”

“Do you take us for fools?!”

“You will never get away with this!”

Pelkan hearing the words of rage seemed not to be affected as he arched his head upwards with its shiny beak facing the sky, “Hahahaha! You’ve only been a group of pawns and nothing more, from the very moment I formed a spiritual binding contract with every one of you was the very moment your entire clan's lives belonged to me. Now, die and make yourselves useful don’t worry for those stragglers in the distant realms will also be sure to follow in your footsteps!”

Snap! The moment Pelkan snapped his fingers the conscious mind of each of the hawkmen instantly faded as their bodies and essence were pulled towards the hovering Spiritual Bird Egg.

The elite units of the Birdclan also had a similar experience as even their consciousness faded causing a majority of the weaker within their ranks to be absorbed by the Spiritual Bird Egg.

The Unit Leader seeing this gritted his teeth as he also started to feel his strength of will fading away, he angerly cursed at Pelkan, “Peklan!! You even went as far to brand our consciousness!!! Have no shame to your kin?!”

“I’ve heard enough of your nonsense! Die and become fuel for my future!” Pelkan said coldly, snapping his finger with even more force as a strange energy fluctuated around the area. The resistant unit leader soon after completely gave all forms of resistance as the eggs in his body were distorted and was swept away by the egg.

“Pelkaannn!!!!!” His voice fading away as he was absorbed by the egg filling it with even more nourishment.

Phew! The light from the egg grew stronger as after being fed so many different types of essences it was slowly advancing the time need for it to hatch. Felman whose consciousness was fading glanced at this scene in regret as he muttered to himself, “Wife... are you watching, this is the fate of our clan, the very fade that could not... be… c…h... a…n…g…e…d…”

After finishing his last words, his mind descended into the realm of darkness as his body was sucked into the egg leaving behind a desolate and lifeless region, as only Pelkans along with his right-hand subordinate where left floating in the air as they observed the floating egg.

Rumble! After fully absorbing the essences from the person, the area around the central pillar and egg began to shake violently as all of the converging branches started to break to pieces, the pillar of wood soon split into many sections as a towering amount of energies that were still stored within the pillar stream towards the hovering egg.

After a very short moment, the egg had fully absorbed this final bit of energies causing a colorful ring to form around its entirety. Suddenly, the egg started to shrink and expanded repeatedly as it pulsated with a sound akin to that of a heartbeat.

Tump! Tump! Tump! It was a loud and resonant beat, one that seemed to be connected to not only the trees in the surroundings but even the clouds as they were swept backward and forward for each beat made by the pulsating Spiritual Bird Egg.

Deep below the towering trees, within a black tide that stretched towards infinity, the very odd and mysterious Sea of Nothingness was a region that seemed like no other, a place that seemed connected with an entirely different realm.

A familiar looking void spawn stood within a void of pure darkness as he gazed up towards the ceiling of endless chaotic waters, his eyes glowing in a strange but profound light as he smiled and spoke in a resonant voice, “The Birth of New King...”

  Chapter 156

  The Virtue of Karma!

The sound of heavy heartbeat continued to echo within the bleak and lifeless vicinity, as the Spiritual Bird Egg continued to pulsate its energies would correspondingly rise and fall as if it was accumulating a large number of essences for a heaven shaking birth.

Pelkan looked at the scene in excitement as he gripped his claws fiercely while speaking a hysterical manner, “Hahaha! With this my path to supreme is but one breath from its fruition, no one will hinder my path! Not even you Falcoy!”

As he said this, he couldn’t help but recall the scenes of the distant past, scenes of their armies conquering the myriad worlds with Falcoy standing at the front leading and commanding all to glory. His eyes glowed with a trace of hatred as well as jealously as he thought to himself, “Everything that is yours will ultimately be mine!”

“Kimia, retrieve the egg, it is in the process of birth and will bring it back with us to nest and allow it hatch in our native en
vironment!” Pelkan said to his right-hand subordinate.

“As the Sky Watcher commands!” Kimia replied as he promptly flapped his wings appearing directly in front of the pulsating Spiritual Bird Egg. He then lifted his arms and swiped his claws towards it in a casual fashion. However, before his hand could grasp the egg, there was a sudden change…

Swoosh! A ray of light abruptly flashed for a moment leaving behind a blank space as the Spiritual Bird Egg had vanished into thin air. This light then beamed it's away across the cloud sea as it made a curving motion soaring towards the limits of the sky.

As he saw the scene, Pelkan grew shocked, but this only lasted for a moment as his expression changed to that of dreadful anger, he pointed towards the beam and yelled, “Shit! How could I forget about them?! Kimia, stop that bastard!”

“Understood!” Kimia replied as his eyes flickered with a murderous light, his body then transformed into a ray as his True Soul realm cultivation realm exploded.

Swoosh! Instantly, he caught up to the beams form which now clearly revealed before his eyes, Feng Yu who was riding his flying artifact at full speed glanced towards Kimia with surprise, but soon his expression changed to that of mockery.

“Human! You dare to mock me!” Kimia who was usually calm seemed to have lost all form of decency as he saw Feng Yu’s face, he lifted his arm and grasped towards Feng Yu causing a strange suction force to pull his body towards him.

“I want to see what kind of expression you make when I break your spirit and body!” Kima said in a cruel manner.

Pelkan who was still standing at his position shook his head as he heard this and spoke, “Kima we don’t have time to waste here, kill human immediately!”
