  Chapter 161

The Zone Commanders Move! Clash of Experts!

Crackle! A dark ominous sound akin to the heavenly thunders resounded across the heavens, the chaotic battlefield around the Ancient Dragon Palace now becoming oppressed by an unusual energy.

Suddenly, the eyes of the Zone Commanders widen as their expression became that of shock, they moved their sights from the figures on the floating Feng Mansion and locked it onto the expanding pillar of light which had just appeared at the center of their Fortress.

“How could this be? Why has the guardian constructed awakened?!” Reinz asked in a loud voice filled with immense anger, his voice rumbling across the surroundings interrupting battling troop commanders and allied leaders.

Feng Yunlong and Feng Junling hearing this smiled as they looked at each other before saying, “These brats, it looks like they really managed to sneak their way in… truly astounding, there innate gifts are more than capable of allowing to grow to the peak of Sacred Domain…”

Feng Xingyu who was nearby nodded as she spoke, “Um. Now that these kids have started, it’s now up to us to ensure they aren’t disturbed…”

“Right!” Both Feng Junling and Feng Yunlong replied as a blazing light shone within their eyes, they focused on the distracted figures of the Zone Commanders ready to move at a moment’s notice.

Back below the battlefield, the Zone Commanders were baffled by the turn of events, they had no idea why the guardian was trail has started. Falcoy who always had his head upwards finally looked down as a serious look appeared on his usually arrogant face.

“Dammit! They must have somehow found a way to bypass those fools and snuck inside a group that was adept enough to avoid being noticed! These damn humans, chet!” He cursed in an angered fashion.

The only one among the two Zone Commanders who had remained calm despite the current circumstances was Gui Shenin whose eyes squinted in a strange manner as he pondered to himself, “To be able to achieve thisssss would require the use of a very powerful sssssteath artifact, it seemssss that these enemiessss of ours are quite capable…”

After thinking to himself, he moved his eyes from the pillar of light focusing it back on the forms that were eyeing them from the sky, a strange smile forming on his lips as he spoke in a soft voice, “The enemy has already planned this in advance and there is nothing we can do now that their group has entered the pillar, even if we do approach it we would be destroyed by its divine light. Instead, I believe that we should focus on processing the enemies at hand now that their plots are in motion those brats should just about be ready to move, we would strike them before they strike us.”

Reinz and Falcoy hearing his words became silent as their eyes flickered for a moment, but after a short while they soon calmed themselves and recovered their normal moods. Their sinister eyes were sweeping across the pillar of light for a moment before locking onto the figures on top of the Feng Mansion.

“Fine, we will deal with these arrogant fools first…” Falcoy said in a domineering fashion as his eyes glowed in a brutal light, his energies rising at an alarming rate as his body floated into the air.

Reinz also commented, “Good! They’ve been getting on my nerves for a while, I must have a look to see how great they really are for the excellency to warn us himself! All fiends, use your full strength to annihilate the enemy I want them destroyed before the pillars lights fades!”

Bang! A towering aura burst out of his body as his divine cyan armor began to emanate an extraordinary energy, Reinz figure was shrouded by this armor became saturated by this energy causing his entire being to seem as if he was a divine deity.

Immediately after him, was a dark nefarious aura which seeped into the surrounding air, the illusive figure of Gui Shenin gliding upwards into the air as if he was a weightless, or rather, formless being as he instantly arrived at the same positions of Reinz and Falcoy. He eyes underneath his tattered cloak glowing in ominous dark purple light as he spoke, “Begin!”

Without even waiting for him to finish the bodies of Falcoy and Reinz vanished in split second, their speeds akin to that of teleportation as instantly appeared within the vicinity of the Feng Mansion.

Gui Shenin seeing their movements smiled as his body slowly glided forwards, like a ghost he flickered in a series of flashes quickly catching up to duo. Feng Junling sensing their movements suddenly growing serious as he spoke, “Here they come! Yunlong, Xingyu! Make sure to draw them away from the central battlefields!”

“Alright, let’s go! Xingyu, be sure to watch yourself!” Feng Yunlong said, as he rushed forwards with full power his hair turning into full scarlet red as his eyes turned full golden. Instantly, the scorching scarlet golden flame that surrounded his entire body transformed into a blazing ball of might that rammed towards Reinz.

Blaze! The ball of flame left behind of trial of fire in the void as if this fire could burn the void itself, Reinz who was directly in front of this ball of flame grew solemn as he didn’t expect for the enemy to be this capable, he stretched out his arm and spread his fingers wide as he yelled, “Aqua Field!”

Instantly, a wide section of the area spanning a region of 5 kilometers became shrouded by blue, the water essences of the world began to saturate the air as if the world had transformed into a realm of waters. The ball of scarlet golden flames visibly deteriorating as if it had met its bane…

Feng Yunlong seeing this knitted his brows for a bit as he pondered, “It seems that this fellow is going to be a bit of hassle…”

Reinz seeing that his enemies’ power has vanished sneered, “What now human? Are your flame attacks going to hurt me?”

Feng Yunlong hearing his words only shook his head and replied, “You're both right and wrong, for you see…” After he said this, the golden light in eyes glowed brightly becoming richer as a new stream of blazing scarlet golden flames wrapped around his body. His mouth curling into a teasing smile as he finished his previous statement, “These aren’t normal flames…”

Reinz eyes was now shrinking to the size of needles as he looked at the mighty god of fire who was slowly trotting his way towards him leaving behind blazing trails of footsteps…

In a different section of these broad skies, were two groups of light which beamed across space as they collided back and forth.

Boom! Boom! Boom! The heavens shook as a myriad of shockwaves scattered across the skies, destroying the distant mountains and leveling the distant fields, rippling the vast lakes that laid deep beneath these floating lands.

Suddenly, one of the lights paused as it formed into the body of mighty looking birdman whose feathers gleamed in divine light, his sharp looking eyes glaring at the figure that now appeared before him.

The beautiful Feng Xingyu whose long red hair danced wildly with the rising winds, as her gorgeous red dress fluttered due to the surrounding gales; her slender body emanated a strange kind of power, a power that seemed as if it was the very core of strength itself. It was as if a battle goddess from the heavens had descended to realms of the mortal planes, as her mighty looking eyes indifferently stared at Falcoy.

“You… you are different from them… this strength that you wield where did you attain it?” Falcoy asked with a sharp gleam in his eyes, he was curious as to what this woman before him was using to place her on par with his strength, as he felt no aura, no essence-energies as if the woman before him was only a mortal that struck with but only the strength of her fleshy body.

Feng Xingyu remained silent as she thought to herself, “This strength I’ve received is astounding… I have yet to truly control it, but I can already match this damn bird… humph! I’ll use this chance to figure out how to draw out its potential…”

As she thought to herself, the way she views Falcoy changed as she no longer looked at him with indifference but gave him a look akin to a child that had finally found her destined toy.

  Falcoy seeing this frowned
as he felt a tinge of uneasiness, “What’s this human plotting?” He raised his senses to maximum as he had no idea what this dreadful woman was planning to bring out of her sleeves, however, he was destined to be a victim of a tragedy, the tragedy that was all too well known in the Feng Family, destined to fall to the games of the fabled - Scarlet Witch…

Bang! At a different region of the Center of All Zones was a region that was blanketed by pure golden flames, the temperature was at its peak as if this very region was now akin the surface of a star like the sun. The figure of a mighty looking scarlet golden-haired man with a scar on the left side of his face could be seen standing at the center of the field of flames, as his body glowed in a blazing light while gazing at the floating figure a few meters before him.

“So troublesome… you Soul Eater Ghostfiends are…” Feng Junling said in a calm tone, as he looked at the illusive Gui Shenin who floated through his field of sacred flames as if it was his backyard.

“Huhuhu! You humanssss are also quite the nuisance, a bit weak but your kind’ssss means never cease to amaze me. Yet, regardless of your sssstrenghts all are meaningless in the face of true sssstrenght…” Gui Shenin said in a calm manner as if the person before was only a temporary means of entertainment.

“It looks as if we agree on one-point fiendkin…” Feng Junling said with a smile on his face, “Oh, and what’ssss that?” Gui Shenin asked.

“Power is always right…” Feng Junling said as his eyes flashed with a blazing light and a hint of thunderous essence, his body transforming once again into an entirely different state…

  Chapter 162

The Cloudy Ghost Zone, An Unexpected Meeting?

The sky was of a gloomy nature as it filled a myriad of ominously green and purplish colors; occasionally one would see a streak of green lighting that struck towards the distant lands that blanketed in darkness.

Carefully looking, one would see a vast stretch of land which was desolate as if all life had ended leaving behind a dried-up world filled with dead trees, and old broken-down ruins of an ancient time.

A group of spectors aimlessly wandered about this lifeless field with wisps of souls circling around a few ancient skeletons, almost as if they were seeking out the closest thing that had any semblance of life. Suddenly, the space within the region became unstable as the winds started to move in an unusual fashion.

Rip! A loud tearing sound soon followed as a vast section of the gloomy sky broke to pieces, not long after a massive blue vortex had appeared for only a fraction of time before vanishing into thin air, leaving behind the figures of a large amount individuals could be seen standing in the air.

Sniff! One of them took a deep breath of their surroundings before knitting their brows and cursing, “As expected of the Cloudy Ghost Zone, it wreaks of death here…” Zyne said in an awful tone.

“Zyneas, it’s always been this way, you’ve just been too busy to travel here during those days…” Demetria said as she floated over, her eyes sweeping across the gloomy surroundings as the various spectors and wisps that aimlessly wandered the area.

“Haha! You used to keep you on leash!” Myria said in a mischievous tone, but the moment she said this, she suddenly remembered, Demetria couldn’t help but cast her a harsh glance before looking at Zyne and Leon.

As expected, the faces of both Zyne and Leon flickered for a bit before returning to normal, Leon couldn’t help but turn his glare at Myria, “Hmph! If you keep this up, you’ll never find a husband much less ascend the throne of fairies…”

Myria was a bit sad for her previous words, but upon hearing Leon’s statement she quickly flew into anger as he flapped her wings while circling around Leon, “Learn how to use your tool first before you chatter on me!”

As they seemed that they were about to create a new world war, Demetria sighed as she intervened, “Come now, we don’t have time to bicker…”

Leon and Myria hearing this promptly stopped as they replied while turning their heads away from each other, “Humph!

The Spector Life Born Alliance leader Desi had upon arriving at this region merged himself into the surroundings, his ghostly sense conversing the various wisps and spectral entities as he sought for their destination. Suddenly, his eyes opened causing a greenish light to glow from within them.

“I’ve found the location… follow me!” Desi said softly as his ghostly figure started to glide towards a distant location, the members of the Spector Life Born following him in tow as traveled deep within the dead woods leaving behind trails of lights.

Demetria seeing this quickly motioned to their large groups as she spoke, “Let’s get going…”

The alliance members upon seeing this nodded their heads as they gestured their various units to quickly follow along with the Desi’s lead, Feng Yu looked at this scene in interest as he thought to himself, “The Spatial Teleportation function of that Life Source Orb will never seize to amaze me…”

“Husband, shall we go?” The beautiful Jing Mingyun asked as she looked at Feng Yu with a hint of tease in her eyes. Feng Yu hearing this couldn’t help but shake his head as he answered, “Um. We should also get moving…”

After he said this, a strange power swept across Feng Yu pulling both him and Jing Mingyun towards the group as their figures vanished within the distance…

The forest was dark, but its creatures had long since adapted to this type of atmosphere. A being that was 300 meters long with a width that would require 50 individuals to wrap their arms around it was currently on a rampage within this region, its overwhelming body crushing to bits any and all objects that were unfortunate enough to be in its path.

Its body seemed half real half fake, as it flickered with an unusual bleakness as if it didn’t exist but was actually still here, with a serpent-like head that was mostly transparent, leaving only its sinister-looking red eyes which glowed in dark light.

“Roarrr!!!” The entity screamed in a furious manner as if it was trying to find its life’s greatest foe spitting out a mouthful of green flames which corroded all before its paths for hundreds of meters.

A Spectral Ba Serpent, a high-rank force beast with a combat ability vastly exceeding the normal ranks of force beasts, it is said that they are a rare breed and can only found in this body ‘cloudiest’ of all environments.

Swoosh! Swoosh! The sound of two agile footsteps could be heard as the silhouettes of two individuals could be seen a great distance in front of the Spectral Ba Serpent running for their very lives.

They were two aged men with deep red hair, one of them had his head covered in wrappings with sharp looking eyebrows and long a beard while the other had a more robust looking face, with broad eyes and nose, the hair on his head was sticking out like spikes as if he was struck by lightning.

“Haa… Haa… Bastard! If you didn’t steal that creature’s egg, we wouldn’t be in this situation, now would we?!” The aged man with a wrapped head cursed as he tried to catch his breath, his eyes staring at the fruit the spiky-haired aged man’s hand.

“Haa... Haa… Humph! If it wanted to claim ownership of the fruit, then it should’ve placed a better guard around it!” The spiky-haired man replied in a stubborn manner, as he too continued to channel his full energies to escape.

Upon hearing his words, the man whose head was wrapped couldn’t help but to shake his head as he cursed inwardly, the duo had been trying to escape the Spectral Ba Serpent for more than a day already and the chase seemed as if there was no sight in end.

The Spectral Ba Serpent was now gaining on them with each passing time, currently, it was now roughly at 50 meters behind them, looking like a massive mountain chasing a pair of tiny insects. Its eyes glowed in a brutal manner as it lifted his humongous head and sucked int the air from the surroundings.

Whooosh! The suction force from its mouth was terrifying as it rooted up the trees from the earth, the boulders from the
surrounding desolate fields, a truly devastating power as if it was a natural disaster in the act.

Both men feeling this change couldn’t help but grow nervous as they knew that it is preparing for a final attack.

“Damn! Will we die here?!” The spikey haired man yelled as he glanced at the scene behind him, his face covered in sweat as his veins where visible.

Buzz! The region began to shake as a dreadful amount of energy began to form within the Spectral Ba Serpent’s mouth, its green glow now illuminating their entire surroundings as if it was ready to be unleashed.

“Old pal, it looks like this is where it ends…” The man with his head wrapped said as the two glanced at menacing lights coming from behind them, however, just as the scene seemed to be that of the end, there was sudden change…

“Haha! Such big snake we’ve got here, looks like there are quite a few of these critters still in existence…” A loud and brutish voice said, not long after a figure soon appeared from a different section of the broken woods, a dwarfin with an extra-large hammer placed on his shoulders.

The two individuals seeing this became surprised as they pondered, “What’s a dwarfin doing in this zone?”

Zyne seeing the two before him became surprised, “Eh? Humans? How did you get here? Shouldn’t all of you be fighting in the Center of All Zones?”

He was about to inquire more but it was now that Spectral Ba Serpent was ready to launch its attack, its eyes now carrying a cunning light as it finally exhaled releasing a breath of terrifying green flames which spread out at blazing flames speeds.

Zyne seeing this clicked his teeth and spoke, “Tsk! Looks like I’ll have to deal with you first...” Having said this, he jumped into the air bypassing the figures of the men as he lifted his hammer above his head.

“What’s this fellow doing---?” The spikey haired man asked as he was shocked upon seeing Zyne’s movements, he was about to question if he was sane, but was soon forced to put his words to halt as he saw an extremely unusual scene.
