Buzz! The hammer within Zyne’s hand quickly expanding at a rapid pace as the handle became 20 meters tall with its mallet became a size of 100 meters; it glowed in a radiant light which soon threatened to eclipse the lights coming from the sea of blazing green flames as Zyne smashed forwards as he yelled, “Bright Hammer Smite!”

Whoooosh! The hammer tore through the green flames like a knife cutting through tofu instantly arriving before the body of the devious Spectral Ba Serpent, as it saw this scene, the serpent became surprised as it quickly tried to maneuver its body to avoid the hit, but sadly, its frame was too large and hammers attack was too swift.

Bang! The hammer smashed into the creature causing a massive explosion of radiant lights to illuminate the area, the shockwave from the attack pushing away the surrounding obstacles as it dispersed the once dreadful blazing green flames.

“Such power! Who the hell is this guy?!” The two men exclaimed in shock, as they had never seen an individual wield such power while his cultivation was at the same tier as theirs.

The lights soon faded as the figure of Zyne was once again revealed, his feet standing on the edge of the mallet, while had arm was hung around the elongated handle of his giant hammer which was now firmly lodged into the head of mountainous monstrosity.

If one looked closely, they see that the Spectral Ba Serpent was beginning to fade away from reality, its body continued to grow more elusive by the second eventually fading away into nothingness.

Zyne seeing this couldn’t help but show an interested look in his eyes as he muttered, “These Spector Lifeforms never cease to amaze me, their methods of self-preservations are truly terrifying. It seems that we’ll need to be careful of this against these Soul Eater Ghostfiends.”

As he was lost in his thoughts, and the two men were caught in utter surprise, the surroundings around them began to shake as if a massive group was approaching. The two men hearing this noise became solemn as a look of vigilance came over their faces, their eyes locked onto a certain location of this region noticing the rumbling trees.

Soon, a large group appeared with a ghost-like entity at the forefront followed by a beautiful woman with golden wings. A few other might looking individuals were also among the front of this large group, but what caught these two men’s eyes was the familiar looking handsome young man who was walking by the side of a somewhat familiar looking peerless beauty with white hair.

“It’s… it’s…” One of them became tongue-tied as he completely ignored the others while his eyes were locked on Feng Yu, another who seemed to be more shocked than him exclaiming in a loud voice, “Yu Child is that you?!!”

Feng Yu hearing his common form of address couldn’t help but grow stunned as he gazed towards the two haggard looking men before him, his eyes opening wide as she also exclaimed, “Elder Chen?! Elder Duan?! How did you both get here?!”

  Chapter 163

The Ancient Nether Tombs, Spector Life King

Time seemed constant in the Cloudy Ghost Zone as the day and night could not easily be told apart, the gloominess of this place surpassing even the once most famous Gloomy Forest. A large arrangement of tombstones were scattered about an old dried-up forest whose trees had no leaves or signs of life, occasionally a small wisp would float about randomly as they aimlessly wandered for eternity.

The tombs here gave off an unusual presence despite being old and mostly broken down, if one inspected them carefully, one would notice that each of these tombstones were arranged in a circular formation around a much larger tombstone.

This large tombs stone seemed as if it was a part of this realm since the beginning of time, with thick pale-looking vines falling over its surface which was mostly covered in dried up moss and dirt. There were many different types of unrecognizable runic engravements carefully drawn on its surface connected to an odd-looking slot at its center.

Flap-flap-flap! Suddenly, a skeleton bird with glowing green eyes rapidly descended from the skies landing one of these tombs’ stones. Its glowing eyes flickering as it gazed towards a distant location with these dead dried up woods.

Rustle! Rustle! Crack! Crack! Quickly, the noises of dried up moss being stepped on along with rocks being crushed to pieces sounded as the figures of a large group headed by a unit of floating spectral-like entities soon appeared. At the front of all of these groups, was a spectral entity whose body seemed a tad bit larger than the norm of his kind, his glowing blue eyes looking onto the humongous tombstone before the group before a smile formed in his face.

“Your Excellencies, we have finally arrived at the destination, before us, is the ancient abode of our kind, and though it may not be as it used to, it is still the final cradle for races hope and future…” Desi said with a look of happiness in his eyes, the members of his clan now showing signs of excitement as they saw the tombstone.

Feng Yu seeing this asked, “It seems as if nothing is here… don’t tell me we are going to have to do another ritual?”

Desi hearing his words laughed in a spooky manner before replying, “Huhuhu! Chosen Yu is mistaken, this tombstone is no more than a door, and what door needs isn’t a ritual but rather a key…”

As he said this, he waved his hands causing a strange semi-transparent object to appear, it was small cylindrical stone with complex markings that glowed in a strange light. Suddenly, the atmosphere became strange as a chilly mist began to form with the vicinity.

“An array key?” Feng Yu said as he saw the object, the usually indifferent Jing Mingyun finally showing a look of interest as she saw the strange key.

“You’ve certainly protected it well, Desi…” Zyne said as he looked at his former prison mate, Desi hearing Zyne’s words smiled as he replied, “Um. I didn’t think I’d ever get the chance to use this again…”

He then pointed his fingers at the slot on the massive tombstone causing the object to fly towards it and insert itself into the slot. The moment this happened, there was a change…

Rumble! The area began to shake and that massive tombstone started to move itself, a few moments later it came to stop revealing a broad passageway that was hundreds of meters wide leading to an underground tomb. A chilly air filled with the properties of yin wafted out from this passage causing a strange feeling to rise within those of the living.

Feng Yu felt his hair stood up as if it was warning him to be wary of the surroundings, but soon, his bodies bloodline roused pushing away the odd feeling as he returned to normal. He looked around and noticed that both Elder Duan and Elder Chen where carrying a very uncomfortable look on their faces before they slowly recovered and glanced towards the passage with weariness.

The only excepting being Jing Mingyun and the others from the native allied armies, who were very much used to this kind of scenario, Desi who seemed to have noticed Feng Yu and his clan members previous expressions could help but smile and spoke, “Chosen Yu and esteemed elders, you have no need to be so concerned, what you’re feeling now is only a side effect experienced by new lifeforms exposed to true yin… we are a race that exists between the line of life and death and as such, living beings will find it a bit difficult to thrive in our surroundings, as you're of a certain standard of bloodline it will take only a few moments for you to adapt…”

“So that’s the case…” Feng Yu replied as he scanned the mist of yin with his spiritual sense, as he did this, Desi how looked at the group and spoke, “The passage is open, I believe that the king should have noticed our arrival, let us make haste…”

He then glided forwards along with the members of his race as they vanished down the passage away, Demetria seeing this motioned towards the alliance leaders who gathered before her figure.

She then calmly spoke, “We will leave behind the various units and only enter with the main group comparison of the alliance leaders!”

“Understood!” The alliance leaders said before directing their second in commands to arrange their forces to keep watch over the area
. Demetria seeing this then nodded and fly downwards entering the tomb’s domain.

Jing Mingyun, Feng Yu, Elder Chen, Elder Duan, Myria, Leon, Zyne and the alliance leaders soon after followed along with the massive group, eventually vanishing within the underground tunnel which once more closed itself off from the outside world…

The scene beneath the passage was unlike that shown above, with a myriad of pillar-like buildings that were engraved with sparkling runes, along with coffins that hovered about at random locations, these buildings stretched from depths of a misty view as the bottom of this underground world could not be seen.

Carefully looking, one would see a large group of Spector lifeforms gliding about towards a central location. A region that was no more than a large floating platform, they glanced at the newcomers with a look filled with keen interest but did nothing to hinder or speak with them as if arriving at the platform was the most important task at the moment.

Feng Yu, Elder Chen and Elder Duan glanced around at this scene in interest, Elder Duan couldn’t help but speak, “Old Chen, do you find this place familiar?”

Elder Chen hearing his words also had a surprised expression on his face, as she replied, “Yes, it is very much similar to that place…”

Feng Yu hearing their words couldn’t help but grew curious, he asked, “Elders, what place is that?”

Elder Chen hearing Feng Yu’s words replied, “It’s a place that many fear in the Sacred Domain, a place known for an unusual amount of odd occurrences, as well as unsolved mysteries. A place known as, the Valley of Coffins…”

Elder Chen became silent as he said these words, as even the talkative Elder Duan became solemn after hearing those words, the face of Feng Yu now showing a look of keen interest as he thought to himself, “Such an interesting name, it seems that I’ll have to make a note of it for the future….”

Jing Mingyun who was nearby also had a different expression when she heard those words, her eyes flickering in a strange light as she muttered, “It seems that even now, that place continued to exist in that realm…”

As each individual were lost in their own thoughts, Desi had continued to guide the group towards the main central platform, eventually, they had arrived on its surface as they now stood before a gigantic looking construct.

It was an empty throne that was at least 20 meters tall and 6 meters wide, the previously congregating Spector lifeforms now standing at the sides of this throne leaving a wide enough area at the center for Desi and the allied leaders to walk.

Desi having brought the leaders here finally bowed his head the empty throne and spoke in a humble tone, “I beseech the great king, to bless this one and my followers with your presence…”

His voice resounded across the platform as if giving life to the endless silence, Zyne and Demetria now revealing a look of anticipation as they gazed at the throne before them.

Suddenly, the chilliness within the air almost double as the King of Spectors was coming into being. A cold gale filled with a dense amount of yin energies began to cluster around the throne causing the skins of Feng Yu, along with Elder Chen and Elder Duan to tickle them uncomfortably.

Whoosh! Not long after, the yin winds vanished as the chilliness receded as a strange new entity was seated on the throne. It was an ethereal-like man, with a crown on his head garbed in a strange cloak that seemed to be as ancient as the world.

As the members of the Spector Life born race saw their king’s arrival they bowed in unison and promptly greeted, “We greet the Spector Life King!”

The Spector Life King now hearing their words nodding his head as his eyes gleamed with a deep level of profoundness, he glanced around at the various leaders that stood before him, at forms of Zyne, Demetria, Feng Yu, Myria and Leon, before his eyes landed on Jing Mingyun with a hint of surprise before stopping on Desi.

“Desi… it’s been too long…. it seems as though the time has also come again. I must have slept through a lot of things for I did not think I would get to see even you again much less a Trueblood Dragonborn…” He said with a tone filled with reminiscence, Desi hearing his words couldn’t help but sigh as he knew full well what the Spector Life King was feeling. He hesitated for a moment before opening his mouth to speak but was soon cut off by the Spector Life King’s words.

“It’s ok, I believe I can already understand… you require my forces to aid you in this one’s mission is it not?” The Spector Life King said as he pointed his finger towards Feng Yu, a deep look of surprise forming on Feng Yu’s face as he didn’t expect for the king to be so astute.

Desi who was long since used to this nodded his head as he humbly replied, “Yes, your majesty!”

The surrounding Spector lifeforms upon hearing Desi’s words became rowdy as they started to converse amongst themselves…

“What is he thinking? Does he really think that we would overcome the combined might of the Zone Commander’s minions?”

“He’s been trapped in that godforsaken place for so long he doesn’t even realize the forces we are up against…”

They began to discuss Desi’s action with discontent, as most of them were already used to the quiet and secluded life within the underground passage. In fact, the Nether Tombs was a very unusual place capable of completely severing all contacts with the world outside of it. Hence the reason why they didn’t know of the current outside circumstances.

“Silence…” The Spector Life King said in a calm tone, it was as if his soft words were louder than any other kinds of shouts as it rumbled across the area. He swept his eyes over his people before fixing his gaze on Demetria and Zyne before speaking, “You both seem to be doing well, from the strength I can feel from your essences it seems that most of what you lost has already been restored, from this I can then assume that you’ve managed to recover that orb from the Reinz hands.”

The surrounding Spector Lifeborns became stunned as they heard this, as they didn’t think this was even possible. Zyne hearing his words couldn’t help but laugh while replying, “Haha! You’ve always been a rather sharp ghost, Yemo!”

Demetria also smiled as she replied, “It is as you’ve guessed, the trials have begun once again and not only that, the Chosen’s War Command was once again invoked by Chosen Yu...” As she said this, she pointed her finger towards Feng Yu.

King Yemo seeing this nodded as he spoke, “Truly an uncommon human, I can’t even tell what type of life you are as blood essence is neither of a mortal or supreme, maybe… a paragon?”

“Haha! There is no point in trying to access it for you wouldn’t believe it even if I told you…” Zyne said as glanced towards Feng Yu like a he was looking a fine specimen, King Yemo hearing this finally revealing a look of surprise in his eyes as he did expect Zyne to have such an evaluation over a human, even if he were special among their ranks…

After clearing his thoughts, King Yemo looked at Demetria once again and spoke, “Since this is the case, then I can already glean what has mostly transpired, for you to come here both of the palaces belonging to Endless Rain Zone and the Boundless Sky Zone have already been destroyed…”

Zyne and Demetria nodded their heads in reply to his words, having seen their reply to the light within King Yemo’s eyes that shone brightly as a smile rose on his lips, his ancient and usually indifferent face finally becoming hearty as he laughed his first laugh in many years, “Huhuhuhuhu!”

The Nether Tombs shook as his laugh carried a tinge of creepiness within; the members of the Spector Lifeborn clan each now looking at the group in shock as they didn’t expect such great news to come to them out of blue.

Desi seeing King Yemo’s laugh finally smiled as he thought to himself, “It’s been so long, the King must have been gloomy despite passing his time away in slumber due to his now weakened self…”

The laughter lasted for a moment, but soon quickly came to end as the lights with King Yemo’s eyes shone with the will to war, h
e looked towards Desi and the group of allies while gripping his fingers on his throne’s armrests.

“All Spector Kin will heed my command! The day has come for races salvation, for too long we have been forced to lock ourselves away from our world, forced to forget and live in a delusive sense of peace. We will take back what they owe us! We will fight to reclaimed, our Freedom!!!”

“For freedom!!!” The Spector Lifeborns shouted in unison, as their eyes glowed brightly expressing their excited moods for the sudden news and announcement. The entire scene beneath the Nether Tombs now becoming livelier, completely different from its previously bleak and desolate state.

As Feng Yu saw this, his eyes flashed in a flaming light as he gripped his fist and spoke in a voice that was drowned out by the glorious shouts of his surroundings. “Now, all that’s left is to commence our final battle…”

  Chapter 164

Armies March into Battle! A Prepared Enemy!

Today was different, an unusual kind of heaviness lingered within the depths of the Dead Woods as if trying to warn its inhabitants of a forthcoming storm. However, the gathered natives from the allied armies continued to remain at ease as they vigilantly patrolled and kept guard around the region of the Nether Tombs.

A chilly wind sweeping across the region as the first rays of dawn beamed their way through the cracks of the gloomy looking clouds, the foreboding looking thunders flickering across the heavens as their gloomy green and purplish hues painted the tone for an impending disaster.

Suddenly, one of the army lieutenants who was resting lifted his head and gazed towards the distant sky as a solemn look was in his eyes, he murmured to himself, “There is a change in the atmosphere…”

“Urm? What are you sayin----?” One of the lieutenants who was nearby happened to overhear his statement and was about to question him, but before he could finish his words, there was a change…

BANG! The massive stone door than enclosed the entrance for the Nether Tombs began to rumble once again, causing the previously silent surroundings to become noisy. The members of the allied army become momentarily shocked before the army lieutenant swiftly commanded. “Our leaders have returned! Quickly get into formation!”
