Immediately after the command was given, the army members who were near and far began to gather together before the Nether Tombs entrance, acting with an impressive level of efficiency as it took them only a few moments to fully stand together in complete harmony.

The lieutenant standing at the front of their individual groups as they calmly awaited the arrival of their leaders, not long after the door finally stopped its rumbling as the scene behind it was revealed, the figures of Feng Yu, Jing Mingyun, Demetria, Zyne, Leon, Myria, Desi along with the other allied leaders finally emerging from their unground pathway.

They stood out in the open gazing at the army before them in silence as if they were waiting for something.

Whooosh! Suddenly, the temperature began to fall as a wind of rich true yin energies began to saturate the air. An abnormal mist had started to flow to the outside from within the Nether Tombs as a large amount of Spector lifeborns floated to the outside looking no different from an army sent from the realm of the death.

If one looked carefully, one would see a strange group among them, this group of spector lifeborns carried a large stone pillar engraved with a variety of unusual characters as a strange mysterious energy was gathered around their surfaces.

After this large group of Spector lifeborns appeared, the area grew even colder as if the lord of yin energies was about to make an appearance. Quickly, the tall and mighty looking form of the Spector Life King Yemi had finally exited the Nether Tombs. His body clad in a strange cloak-like armor that seemed to have seen the passages of an endless amount of time, as his rusty ethereal crown glowed in a greenish light. Currently, Yemo was emanating an endless amount of confidence as he swept his eyes over his subjects as well as the allied army finally landing his eyes on Demetria, Zyne, Feng Yu, and Jing Mingyun.

“We of the Spector Lifeborn Clan shall aid you to battle!” He said in a loud voice, the members of the clan promptly following up with a loud shout, “Uwaaaa!”

Demetria smiled and she then glanced at Zyne who was also looking at her at this moment, she then nodded her head and turned to gaze at the army of allies and Spector Lifeborns before speaking in a loud voice, “Today we fight! Today! All our battles shall come to an end! To my people from all kinds, let us march forwards and claim our victory!!!”

The moment they heard her words, the allies of all races lifted their weapons as they shouted, “For the glory of all Kinds!” Their voices rumbling the air as it echoed across the vast heavens within the surrounding regions, a few weaker spectral force beats couldn’t help but become started as they fled away into distant regions of the Dead Woods.

Feng Yu who was right at the center of this scene could help but feel his blood boil as he clutched his fists tightly, a brief golden light shining his eyes as his thirst for combat grew stronger. Suddenly, he felt a soft set of hands grabbed onto his causing him to fall into a momentary state of loss as he gazed at the beautiful white hair female besides, lost in a trance to her dazzling silver eyes along with her cool and simple smile that gave one a feeling of deep affection.

Elder Chen and Elder Duan seeing this scene, now carrying a look of surprise as they had no idea their clans young master had developed this type of sudden relationship, they couldn’t help but huddled closer while discussing to themselves.

“Old Chen, what do you make of this? This brat has gone and found himself a woman while we were busy searching this entire godforsaken realm to find him?” Elder Duan said in a tone filled with sadness.

Elder Chen hearing this laughed as he replied, “Haha! Duan, why bother about such things? It is as it was meant to be, besides, at least he is not like how the young miss was in her childhood phase?”

Elder Duan hearing this, had a dark expression on his face as if he remembered the most troublesome scene, Elder Chen seeing this also shook his head as he remembered a few scenes, but quickly he cleared his thoughts before continued to speak, “Also, I think that this would be good news for the Leader…”

“Eh? Why would--- ah…. Yes, haha! Indeed, it would make for quite an interesting scene…” Elder Duan replied as a strange smile was on his face, they both looked at Feng Yu as if they were expecting a good show in the future.

Not too far away from them were both Leon and Myria, they stood at a distance away from Zyne and Demetria who standing a bit close. Myria glanced at Leon through the corner of her eyes noticing the sour look on his face as he saw Zyne’s and Demetria’s ‘distance.’

“Hmph!” Leon snorted as he turned his head away in discontent, suddenly the sound of laughing could be heard from beside him, “Hehehe…”

“Myria, what is it that you find so funny?” Leon asked in a tone filled with annoyance, Myria hearing this lifted her head and looked directly into his eyes before speaking, “It’sss nothing, only that I find it rather funny that a prince is unable to tolerate his father standing by another… it seems that despite this prince’s act to reject this father of his, he’s still very much concerned about his well-being.”

Leon hearing this was slightly embarrassed as his face stunned slightly red, his glared at Myria before yelling, “Myria, mind your own dam business!”

Myria hearing this became enraged as she snapped back at Leon, “Hmph! LIKE I CARE!”

She then angrily flapped her wings as she flew off to her mother’s side, Leon seeing this frowned as he ignored her action and glanced towards the stunned dwarfin elders including Elder Jisk.

He clenched his fists tightly as he spoke under his breath, “Myria… chet!”

The moral of the armies had risen to its peak as they were ready to charge into a dreadful battle, Queen Demetria, King Yemo along with alliance leaders seeing nodded their heads as they fixed their eyes towards the distant horizon, as if their eyes could bypass the numerous desolate mountains and trees eventually falling upon the broad necropolis surrounded by a sinister and dark atmosphere.

“Forwards!” They yelled as they each of them soared into the air towards the distance, the members of the armies using their flying artifacts to keep in tow as they advanced in a stable organized set of formations.

“Let’s go!” Jing Mingyun said as he waved her hand causing a white ball of energy form beneath her and Feng Yu’s feet, where after they both took off into the distance as they flew towards the enemy’s domain.

Elder Chan and Elder Duan glanced at each other before nodding their heads and soaring into the sky, their figures riding on top of two unique kinds of blazing flying disks.

Soon, their figures of the armies could no longer be seen, as only a trail of lights were left flickering within the distant horizon…

At the center of this realm laid a massive Necropolis that was filled with a variety of tombs that were arranged in a peculiar manner. They were surrounded by many large tombstones with the biggest tombstone resting at their center, surrounded by a few special looking tombstones.

Currently, each of these tombstones were slid open as all of their inhabitants had left for the great battle at the Center of All Zones. All but a few, that were currently congregated around a large stone stele that was erected at the direct center of all of the surrounding tombs.

It was a strange construct, with many obscure writings that glowing in strange lights, they wore dark-colored armors that covered most their semitransparent skins, leaving only their variety of ominous lights that shone from underneath their helmets and armors.

If one counted their numbers, they would come to realize that the entirety of their numbers were no more than a hundred, with only five among them that had glowing purple eyes as the others were a myriad of dark blues and greens.

These numbers seemed too small to withstand the forthcoming battle, but what remained quite odd was the fact that each of these mighty looking beings didn’t even carry a shred of fear on their faces as they calmly and indifferently glanced at the glowing stele before them.

  Suddenly, one of the Elder
Soul Eater Ghostfiends glanced towards the horizon with a sinister looking smile on his face as he spoke, “It’s almost time…” As if it was waiting for his words, a beam of green light beamed its way across the horizon quickly arrived before the gather elders and elites.

Piiii! With a burst of light, its form finally became revealed looking very much similar to unusual skeleton bird that was previously within the Dead Woods. The bones of bird crumbled to pieces a dark-colored aura spiraled around a vicious looking silhouette, it was an evil looking wisp that floated in the void before speaking in a voice gave one an uneasy feeling. “Hehehe! The enemies have begun to march and have succeeded in pulling the old king from his tomb, their current rate of approach destined to make them reach at noon…”

The smile on the face of the Elder Soul Eater Ghostfiend upon hearing this grew wider as his eyes now glowed in a cunning light, his eyes still fixed at the horizon as he spoke in a cool voice, “Shi! Shi! Shi! Then, let them come to their own demise…”

His words seeping through the air as the eyes of the surrounding elders and elites glowed in an eerie light, giving rise to a deadly and ominous atmosphere that beckoned the final battle…

  Chapter 165

The Enemy’s Trap! Spectral Ghost Array!

The sky was dark, giving one a feeling of endless gloominess and oppression. Yet, despite its constant mood, it could do nothing to hinder the storms that were brewing beneath its sinister looking clouds.

There were three rays of light that beamed across the horizon, flashing across a vast amount of distances as they eventually came to a stop at the fall of noon, the already dark and ominous looking sky taking on a shade much like that of a blood reddish hue.

Beneath them laid a Necropolis, as an unusually silent, or rather a desolate environment, one that seemed to be devoid of anything that might prove to be askew. Suddenly, the mighty looking spector-like being garbed in a strange cloak-like armor glanced around the earth with a hint of puzzlement in his eyes.

“How odd? We approached here with full intention to make war, yet these fiends hid away as if they weren’t expecting us at all…” King Yemo said in a suspicious tone, Zyne, and Demetria who were nearby him each carrying a deep look in their eyes as they pondered the causes.

“The stele is unmanned, that’s strange, could they have left a fake and carried the real one with its core somewhere else?” Demetria asked as she carefully senses her spiritual sense to cover and inspect the empty spaces, it was as if they had all but vanished as except for the unusual looking stele that proudly stood at the center of the Necropolis.

“No… they are still here, but hidden away along with a rather unusual kind of energy lingering in the atmosphere…” Zyne said softly as he swipes his finger across the air as if he was cleaning a piece of glass , the blood-red hue that saturate the entire surroundings began to act much like dirt, as the areas where Zyne swiped became an entirely different color.

“This…” Zyne muttered in surprise, King Yemo, and Queen Demetria also revealing a deep look of surprise on their faces upon seeing the unusual scene. It was at this moment; the leaders and lieutenants of the alliance army had finally arrived with their units now completely blocking out a vast section of the entire sky.

They looked around at the desolate and silent scene in shock, as they had no idea why the enemy had yet to arrive or rather, where their enemies had all but turned.

Suddenly, a white beam of light landed a little distance away from Zyne and two army leaders, as the figures of Feng Yu and Jing Mingyun soon after appearing as they glanced around the surroundings.

“The Spectral Ghost Stele, a treasure originally belonging to those Soul Eater Ghostfiends even after so many years it remains standing with its mysterious unknown to all but ethereal kin…” Jing Mingyun said while gazing at the stone stele, she then points her finger at the void before speaking, “It seems that these fiends were more prepared than I’d assumed…”

As if he sensed something familiar, Feng Yu’s furrowed his brows as she spoke, “There is something strange about this aura…” He was about to ask Zyne and the others about his concerns, but sadly, he was too late…

“Huhuhu!” A sinister and cruel kind of laughter resounded across this desolate region, causing a chill to rise within those who heard it. After a short while, the voice started to speak once more, “You’ve brought this fate upon yourselves, now die and become prey to the Spectral Ghost Array!”

Immediately after his voice faded, the blood reddish energies scattered about air began to change as it formed a massive spherical barrier that covered everything within a hundred miles. It happened in an instant, causing not even the mighty army leaders to react in time.

At the center of the large necropolis the figures of the elders had new once again appeared in their battle armors and cloaks, they stood around the seeming common stele which had only now began to glow in an ominous red light.

Currently, only five of these fiends where wearing dark purple cloaks as the others were dressed in dark blue and green robes; one of the dark purple cloak elders was currently looking at the massive army above the sky that was now caught within the array trap with a mocking look on his dark face under his hood.

“Chet! These bastards…” Zyne clicked his teeth as he saw the scene which unfolded before his eyes; he looked at Demetria and Yemo who looked at the scene with a serious look in their eyes.

“There’s no point in having regrets, the enemy’s array will now enter its attack mode…” Jing Mingyun said as her eyes glowed in a complex light seeming to be able to calculate all things, Zyne hearing this frowned for a moment but he could to suck up his pride and replied, “Sigh, I guess you’re right, we literally flew right into this one…”

King Yemo who has been observing the surroundings for a while now suddenly shouted as she pointed his ghost-like fingers towards the ceiling of the barrier. “The enemies are using spector wraiths, be wary of your surroundings…”

As he said this, his finger began to glow in a brilliant green light which shone across all a broad region, the space before him now beginning to change due to this strange light causing a few entities to be revealed.

They were strange creatures, having no real form as if they existed within the realm beyond the current the plane, they glided around formlessly in a speedy fashion as they charged towards the allied army from the surrounding array barrier.

Swish! Swish! Swish! Not wasting any time, a few of the allied army lieutenants rushed towards the enemies as they command their units, “Don’t waste any time! Kill the wraiths!’

“Wait…” King Demi shouted as he saw their sudden movements, but his words were a step too late…

As they rushed forward, the first set of wraiths collided, or rather, swept across them, they glided through their bodies as if they were no more than air, leaving behind a chilly sensation that momentarily froze their bodies.

The alliance leaders who felt this instantly had a look of shock on their faces as they shouted, “Don’t let them touch….” They were about to warn their units of the side effects, but sadly, they were too late…

“Arghh!” A few of the allied members who were glided through by the spectors became stiff as their bodies began to grow white, within moments both their body and mind were frozen solid as their souls faded away from existence…

King Yemo seeing this shook his head as she shouted in a loud voice, “Avoid body contact with these spectors, they are born of true yin and will cause you to die of true yin, fight them from a distance!”

The stronger allies seeing this each carried a fearful expression on their faces as they showered the spectors with spells and energy attacks from a distance, luckily for them the energy attacks seemed to have a lot of effects as it blasted a few of them to pieces…

The allies seeing this began to grow more confident, but as Feng Yu saw this his feeling couldn’t help but grow more intense as he suddenly recalled where he
felt the familiarity, “This… this array reminds me of the Ghost Corpse Formation…”

The moment he said this, Jing Mingyun who was nearby replied, “You are right, but that formation was nothing more than a simplified version of this one…”

Feng Yu hearing this grew solemn as he spoke, “Then wouldn’t this mean that these creatures are also capable of self-recovery?”

Zyne and Demetria who were nearby had deep looks on their faces as their expressions told Feng Yu that his question was right, Jing Mingyun who was now analyzing the situation around them nodded her head and spoke, “Um.”

As if wanting to prove their words true, the balls of light which the destroyed spectors transformed into quickly joined together once more recreating the spectors. They then rushed towards the shocked allied army members killing a few of them who were once more caught off guard.

King Yemo seeing this frowned, as he was busy supporting the spell that revealed the spectors whereabouts, he commanded, “Prepare the tombstones!”

The Spector Lifeborns hearing this quickly responded by placing down the strange tombstones they brought with them, they then crowed around them and started to chant in a strange tongue.

Jing Mingyun who was analyzing everything finally changed as her eyes recovered from its previous state, she glanced towards Myria, Leon, Zyne, Demetria and Feng Yu before speaking, “There is no way to break this formation with my current strength, hence we are now left with a few choices. We must destroy the stele controlling the Spector Wraiths, with one powerful attack that way we can neutralize the enemy’s advantage and overwhelm them our strength and numbers…”

Zyne, Myria, Leon, and Demetria who heard her words nodded their heads as they understood what should be done, Feng Yu also nodded and replied, “Then when do you attack?”
