More dust falls down in the closet on the terrified girls. The door to the room slams open hitting the wall.
“I’m going,” Kelly says in a hushed tone. She turns her back and slides down the hole avoiding the jagged edges.
Tanya gingerly attempts to follow.
“Come on,” says Kelly from below.
“It’s sharp.” Tanya maneuvers around the splinters. “Kelly, I’m scared.”
Without warning the closet door flings open and rough hands pull her away screaming.
Kelly recoils in the wetness of the crawlspace in horror. She is unable to go near the opening as light flickers from above and the screaming starts anew.
“Get the fuck away from me!” Tanya yells.
Hex spins around, punching Tanya in the stomach causing her to double over in pain.
Glassy eyed Syd stares on enjoying the suffering and takes another hit off her glass pipe. A flame shoots up from a small blow torch like lighter bubbling the liquid inside the bulb. In a cloud of smoke, Syd keeps the fire over the glass heating it up in a dull orange. “I want her eyes.”
The thumping noise above stops with a sickening cracking sound. Red seeps and slowly spreads across the ceiling. Syd pushes the hot glass towards Tanya’s eye.
“No, this is crazy,” Tanya begs, “no.”
Hex pummels Tanya’s back with fists and pins her with knees laughing the whole time.
“No!” Tanya screams, but it is too late. The hot pipe sears into her eyeball and she flails in agony till it ruptures.

The light goes dark from the hole. The screams drive Kelly to further back away. She feels the dirt turn soft and lightening strikes, allowing a quick view of lattice work and chicken wire that encloses the crawlspace. Kelly pulls at the wire, but it is stapled into the bowels of the house. A sloop noise turns her head and a shadow figure crawls towards her from the hole. Kelly screams and frantically claws away as lightening strikes again revealing a rip in the mesh wire. She digs her hands into it, cutting them along the palms and fingers. A sizzling sound comes from behind and she sees the electric jolt of the stun gun.
Knappy grimaces, crawling closer, mumbling, “Where you going to go, little girl?”
The mesh opens wider and the stun gun crackles again.
Kelly pushes ahead scraping her face and shoulders towards freedom. “Please.” She pushes it further apart. “God.”
A rips spreads across allowing her to wiggle forward. Rain pours down splashing in her vision. Combat boot clad feet stomp in the mud blocking the way out. The gun crackles on the skin of her ankle. Kelly lets out a torrent of agony but retains consciousness. A large hand palming a hunting knife comes across her throat slicing deep. Skin folds back, blood flows, and Kelly’s eyes roll back into her head, only the whites showing. The last remnants of Kelly’s long ago bedroom nightmare flicker in her mind. Limply, she falls forward in the mud and her dying body is pulled under the house.

The rainstorm worsens on the dilapidated structure. Hound plods out of sight leaving empty space in his wake. The night watches the yard through the rain and howling wind, there are no other sounds except the raging storm and the crackling of electricity. A green glow flashes creepily like an old horror comic book as a transformer blows in the distance followed by an utter all consuming darkness.
