Falconer's Judgement

  Thomas de Cantilupe served the University well as Chancellor, and eventually became Chancellor of England during the short-lived ascendancy of Baron Simon de Montfort. This, however, did not later prevent him from being a close adviser to de Montfort's conqueror, Edward I of England.

  Peter Bullock died as he might have wished, as a warrior, in the midst of a pitched battle between northern and Welsh students. But not before he had been involved in many mysteries unravelled by his friend Regent Master Falconer.

  William Falconer was to have many further adventures, occasioned by his insatiable curiosity. He travelled throughout England and abroad, finally making contact again with his life-long friend and mentor Friar Roger Bacon.
