“I feel it too,” he whispered.
“God.”
“I’m touching your soul and you’re touching mine.”
It hit me and made me shake. Sean continued to move inside me but he grabbed my face and kissed me. We shared the same moment with the same intensity, making us shake as we kept going. Sean’s tears dripped on my face, and mine rolled to my chin. When we were done, we both held each other tightly.
“I don’t want to stop,” he whispered.
“I don’t want you to either.”
He didn’t. We made love until the sun crested the windows in our bedroom. Exhausted, we finally fell asleep in each other’s arms. Sean’s hand gripped mine, our wedding rings touching. He never released it during the night. When I woke up the next morning, I stared at it, realizing that the dream I had last night was a reality. The happiest day of my life really happened. I really did get my happily ever after.

Unlike a lot of authors, there aren’t a finite number of books I’ll write in a series. If there’s a demand for them by the fans, I will continue to write as your humble servant. While I understand that these characters aren’t real and know they are fictitious, they really aren’t. They exist inside my head.
