Together, they were on a path to start their new lives as husband and wife, and she was excited for their future.

“I hereby pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss your bride.”

Intense desire burned in Guy’s eyes before he swooped her in his arms and kissed her deeply, and without regard to their audience. Mya melted against him as loud cheering resounded around them. But it soon faded in the far distances of her mind as she lost herself in his embrace. He consumed her and she clung to him, her small bouquet of daisies crushed between them.

“Save some for the wedding night!”

Mike’s distinct voice rolled through the crowd, and everyone erupted in laughter and more cheering.

Mya giggled. Guy ignored him. Instead, he kissed her again, sealing their love with many promises to come.

  Dear Reader

I hope you enjoyed Mya and Guy’s second chance at love! There are more happily-ever-afters to come at Cedar Bend so be sure to follow the series. Next up, is Damian Carson and his “bride-to-be” Savvy Williams. See how a series of unfortunate—or fortunate—events lands these two down the altar in SOMETHING NEW.
