“Close your eyes,” Xavier whispered, pressing kisses up until he reached my ear. “Smell the oil, let it sink into your consciousness. Next time you encounter it, your panties will be wet even before I drag them off your sexy ass.”

He lifted the bottle, rubbed some between his hands, and the sweet aroma encompassed me. Xavier watched me until I closed my eyes and he began to massage my breasts with the fragrant oil, manipulating my nipples until they were hard and swollen.

I felt his loss when he wandered across the room to flip the light switch and press the button to close the blinds that blocked all the light from outside. We were enveloped in darkness and I relaxed into the freedom that brought.

The bed dipped with his weight as he crawled between my legs. My mouth fell open when his lips found my right breast, his hand caressing the other. Taking my sight away allowed my other senses to compensate. Goosebumps erupted over my skin as his hands and mouth explored me. He massaged the oil into me until it was engrained into my soul, seeking every erogenous point that made me pant.

I used to imagine what Zee looked like when we were in The Midnight Rooms. Now I knew, and the reality was better than the fantasy I’d conjured in my head. Those hands had murdered men, yet they traced over my skin with exquisite delicacy, his fingers stopping on the small bump on my lower abdomen.

“You do know I can’t just fuck you like an anonymous woman in the dark?”

“Hmmm.” My fingers swept through his hair. “But everything feels so much more in the dark. I’m not distracted, so every muscle and neuron are honed only to your touch.”

His lips pressed a soft kiss to my tummy. “Lie back, baby.” He placed a pillow under my ass to tilt my pelvis.

Those divine lips and delicious tongue attacked the delicate flesh between my legs. His finger slipped inside and curved to rub that spot that made me moan and arch my spine. My hands gripped the rail behind me. The darkness made me feel vulnerable, with my only grounding factor being the man between my legs. He alternated between long, slow licks, and rapid flicks of his tongue. Xavier’s finger rotated and my legs widened, wanting so much more of him.

He lifted my legs over his shoulders and devoured me. His stubble felt abrasive on my soft skin, the contrast making me moan and bury my fingers into his hair. Throughout it all, that scent surrounded me.

“Fuck, I don’t think I can take any more,” I moaned. The pressure inside me built into an inferno, my blood boiling in my veins with a heat that scorched everything in its path. Nothing else mattered but the sensation between my legs.

I exploded in a blinding cascade of pleasure, my entire body arced up toward him, my feet digging into his back. Perspiration coated my skin and I dragged in a ragged breath, trying to steady my emotions.

“Definitely not like it used to be in the dark,” I stammered.

He kissed his way up my body to find my lips. “I told you, there’s a difference fucking someone you don’t give a damn about and being with someone who holds your heart in their hand.”

Xavier’s cock prodded my tender flesh before sliding into my core, inch by glorious inch. My eyes closed and I allowed myself to just feel that stretch. There was always the initial bite of pain that would herald pleasure. He lodged himself balls-deep, and the angle allowed me to move my hips and massage that secret place inside that only he’d been able to find. He must have poured more oil because the scent became stronger, until all I knew was the presence of his cock and the smell of the herb.

“I miss the small penises that try their best in The Midnight Rooms,” I quipped, trying to break that tension that was beginning to smother me.

His dark laugh cascaded over me before his hips pulled back and he slammed into me. “Ohmigod,” I muttered. He’d removed my sight and my smell with the essential oil, so he felt thicker and deeper because my entire body was focused on the slide of his cock.

“Sorry, baby, but this is the only penis you’re getting for the rest of your life.”

My leg curved around his to stake my claim. “What if I want to attend an orgy?”

His hands pinned my wrists to either side of my head, his brow pressed to mine. “Then you go with me.”

“And if I want to be like that woman with three cocks in her at once?”

His hand wrapped around my throat and my pussy contracted around him in excitement. “Then you’ll have to wait until I get around to filling every hole, one after the other.”

  “Hmmm.”

His tempo was slow and oh so deep, making sure I experienced every inch of him moving in and out of me. He rotated his hips, grinding his pelvic bone against my clit. My eyes nearly crossed at the pressure that built in my core.

I loved the dark cocoon, the sensation of our skin sliding against each other, his piercing rubbing all the right places. Tonight, I lived my own private fantasy with my dark and dangerous lover. My core was on fire, burning from the friction and amplified by my desire. I never wanted him to stop, but at the same time, I could hardly take any more.

  “Zee,” I moaned.

He paused deep inside me and rotated his cock again. His pelvic bone ground into my clit. I could barely breathe with the sensation, the pressure escalating in my stomach, and my pulse throbbing through me.

He lifted my legs and shoved another pillow under my ass and reared up on his knees. I knew the time for deep, gentle strokes was gone. The tip of his cock still sat just inside me and he grasped my hips. He hauled me toward him as he surged deep inside.

“Ohmigod,” I gasped. Too deep, his cock throbbed as he filled me.

I grabbed my hair because I could no longer reach the headboard.

He pressed one hand on my pubic bone and the other gripped my hip. Xavier pistoned in and out of my core, his cock battering deep inside. There was nowhere for me to hide, no escape from this erotic assault. The angle, the tempo, the scent all combined to drive me insane. My body writhed under his as he pumped deep and fast.

“Please…” I didn’t know if I was begging for more or needed a reprieve.

His hand pushed harder on my pelvic bone and all the sensations in my core were more acute. Pressure built deep in my stomach like a volcano ready to erupt. My body was on fire and the flesh between my legs was too sensitive yet demanded more. My thighs widened and my back arched as I exploded in a myriad of different sensations.

Xavier kept thrusting until his cock throbbed and he erupted deep inside me before collapsing on top of me. His lips skimmed my shoulder and I held him, because right now he was the anchor that supported me.

  Chapter Nine

  Cassandra

After last night, I could barely struggle out of bed this morning, even though it was nearly midday when I finally emerged. Xavier’s sexy grin and arched eyebrow told me he still thought he’d won. I glared at him and narrowed my eyes, but his grin widened.

“Some days I hate you,” I muttered as I opened the fridge and hunted for the orange juice.

His arms circled my waist and I tried to suppress the shiver when he kissed the back of my neck. “No, you don’t. Your screams last night told the entire building how much you love me.”

“Those screams were for your penis,” I grumbled.

“Does that mean you’ve forgiven him for getting you pregnant?”

I slammed the fridge and wiggled free from him to find a glass. “No, because he’ll try and do it again in future. Maybe we should send him for the snip?” I opened and closed my fingers like a pair of scissors.

Xavier playfully winced and covered his groin with his hand. “Maybe I should feed you,” he said and wandered toward the cooker. “Pancakes?”

“Do I get bacon with them?”

He winked and set about preparing me food. The playboy billionaire the world saw was useless at anything but having a good time. The husband was able to cook, clean, and look after himself.

“Should we talk about my uncle?” I finally asked.

His shoulders tensing was his only outward reaction.

“You’re supposed to be meeting him tomorrow. He said he wanted me to be there.”

Xavier turned and propped his ass against the counter. “You’re not going.” He folded his arms across his chest.

“He might tell me more than he’ll reveal to you,” I pointed out.

“I don’t care. After tonight, you promised to go into hiding and let me protect you.”

I sipped my orange juice while continuing to eyeball him.

  “No,” he repeated.

“I’d like to know what happened to my family.”

Xavier came and knelt in front of me, threading his fingers through mine. “Jay already has your dad’s business partner brought in. I’ll question him myself in the next day or two and get your answers.”

There was little point in arguing when he was in this mood. Instead, I watched him make my pancakes.

I swear that there was a psychic connection between the three male friends, because as soon as he started cooking, they all began arriving. Megan crept in behind Jordan in her pink bunny onesie, waving shyly. What had started as an intimate brunch for two resulted in a banquet for five.

There was no reason for me being a grumpy bitch, considering I’d ordered dinner for everyone last night, but I sat seething. Even when Xavier put a plate in front of me with fluffy pancakes and bacon grilled just the way I liked it, I stabbed the poor pancake after viciously slashing it with my knife.

The men were chatting about the opening tonight and Megan was playing a game on her phone, so I took my plate and sat on the bed to eat. It even pissed me off that no one noticed I disappeared. Was my reaction irrational? Yes. Did I care? No. Xavier blamed everything on my hormones, so I added my mood to the list.

Today, I officially hated the world.

My mind wandered to my uncle and my memories of him. Uncle Dan had spoiled me the way my dad never had. Dad tended to be quiet and more reserved, his affection not as pronounced as my uncle, who would swing me around and throw me in the air. Something didn’t sit right with me that he believed we were alive all these years. No one disappeared in the age of social media.

Deep in contemplation, I chomped down on my crispy bacon. A discreet cough at the door alerted me to Xavier propped up on the doorframe, watching me.

“You okay?” he asked in a low voice. I could hear the others laughing and chatting in the background.

I stared at him, and unexpected tears filled my eyes.

“Oh, baby.” He was at my side in an instant.

“The world feels too much today,” I whispered against his chest. How had I gone from rage to crying?

“It feels like that most days, but we just push on.” He kissed the top of my head.

“I’m supposed to be in control.”

Xavier climbed on the bed behind me and tucked me in beside him. “None of us are truly in control. More often than not, it’s a disguise we wear to make others feel better.”

“I don’t like being pregnant,” I muttered and was rewarded by one of his deep chuckles. “I’m going to have to force a watermelon out of my vagina.”

He tipped my head up to stare into my eyes. “I’ll be there with you every step of the way.”

“Will you squeeze a watermelon out your penis?” Now the rage was returning after the crying.

He bit into his bottom lip to prevent the smile that was playing on his mouth from spreading. “Not gonna lie, but I don’t think I can do that.”

My grumpy expression made him laugh and hug me harder.

“My vagina’s barely big enough for your massive penis, I don’t think a baby will fit.”

All the conversation outside the open door stopped. I scowled at the door.

“Everyone out!” Xavier shouted. “Unless you want to see my massive penis!”

There was noise and then the door slamming shut.

“I just needed a timeout,” I tried to explain.

His lips hovered over mine. “Your wish is my command.”

A mischievous grin tugged my lips. “When I was a little girl, I had to blow a dandelion to make a wish.” His brow furrowed in confusion. “Now, I just have to blow a billionaire to get what I want.”

His laugh washed over me in waves as Xavier rolled me onto my back and settled himself in the cradle of my thighs. “Baby, you blow me right and you can have anything you want. You are crazy, but I love you anyway.”

I pouted and he pressed a hard kiss on the pout. “Will you love me when I look like a beach ball with arms and legs?”

His lips twitched. “Considering that you are suffering as a result of my penis invasion, yes.”

A grin spread over my lips. “Are you admitting this is your fault?”

Xavier rubbed the tip of his nose against mine. “If it puts a smile on your face, I’ll shoulder the blame.”

He dragged me out of the bed and made me squeal as he backed me into the bathroom.

“You need to get washed because the women who are going to make you irresistible are coming soon, and Megan is already studying hair designs that she wants.”

“Scrub my back?” I asked, tugging the waistband of his training bottoms.

“You better believe it. Get that gorgeous ass in there and prepare to be ravished!”

By the time he was finished, I needed a second shower.

  ***

A hairdresser and beautician had arrived at the spare apartment downstairs to perfect our hair and make-up. The men were wandering around in our penthouse apartment dressed in perfect black suits that made them look deliciously dark and dangerous. Xavier, in his well-tailored suit, set my panties on fire.

Kohl pencils terrified me because I always made myself look like a panda. The make-up artist made me look sultry and wanton, my eyes smoky and mysterious. My hair cascaded down my back and was lifted at the sides. The bright-red lipstick was a shade I would never have had the nerve to try on my own.

The woman who stared back at me in the mirror no longer looked like me, but a beautiful stranger. My dress was still hiding upstairs in our bedroom. The plain black dress I currently wore would be substituted before we headed out when I went to put my coat on.

Xavier was fiddling with his right cufflink when we arrived at the penthouse. He could never get it in properly. I deftly took over without a word and he shot me that lopsided grin that told me he was mocking himself.

He grabbed me at the hips and tugged me forward. “I think I’ll stay at home. My wife is smoking hot tonight!”

I wrinkled my nose at him but the way he ran his gaze over me as he bit his bottom lip made the temperature in the room go up several degrees.

“Put her down or you’ll smudge her make-up,” Megan intervened in the background.

“I wouldn’t mind smudging that lipstick,” Xavier muttered, bouncing his eyebrows suggestively. “You can make a wish if you want.”

“Come on, Romeo,” Ash said. “We need to go soon, or we’ll not make it in time to brief the staff.”

“I just need to grab my coat!” I wandered into the bedroom and Megan followed me, knowing I was going to do a quick change. Her other outfit was in my wardrobe as well.

There was only time for a quick peek at my dress before I covered it with my loose black coat. It made me feel sexy and I couldn’t wait for Xavier to see it. He was either going to lock me in the toilets or ravish me. I was definitely hoping for the latter of the two, considering I’d booked us a room. Megan had also booked her and Jordan a room. Neither of us cared that it was open to paying customers tonight, our credit cards were just as valid as the next person.

“Ready?” Xavier popped his head around the door, concern etched on his face.

“Yeah, just making sure my make-up is still okay.”

He held out his hand and I intertwined my fingers through his.

Xavier had booked a limousine to take us to the new club so we could all travel together. I relax
ed against him as they chatted about all the tiny details that needed dealt with when we arrived. We stopped after about twenty minutes. Ash got out of the limousine and returned with a stunningly beautiful woman. Obviously, he wasn’t attending the opening alone. I would have preferred his guest to have been Xavier’s cousin Lucrezia, but it wasn’t my business.

Carly was a bubbly, nonstop-talking machine. She asked constant questions and then interrupted you when you answered her. Megan and I shot each other a look before falling into silence.

After five minutes quiet, her eyes fell on the rings on my hand, and the corresponding band on Xavier’s hand. “Oh, my god!” Carly exclaimed. “Don’t tell me that Xavier Bartholomew is off the menu. Hearts will be breaking in The Twilight Rooms tonight!”

My back straightened and I stared at her. “You do realise that your date is Ash?” I enquired.

Ash waved off my concerns. “Carly is one of the subs in The Twilight Rooms. We have an arrangement for events like this.”

She bristled, throwing him an exasperated look. “We’ve dated on and off for months.”

The look on Ash’s face suggested otherwise.

My hand landed on Xavier’s thigh. “Xavier is definitely off the market,” I confirmed.

“I guess there’s always the orgy rooms,” Carly continued, smiling as if she didn’t comprehend my words.

“Let me clarify the situation for you.” I smiled before my lips dropped and I became deadly serious. “Xavier’s penis belongs to me. The only person who will be enjoying said penis is me. Are we clear?”

Her eyes bulged and Xavier chuckled, shaking his head in amusement.

“I’m glad we clarified the ownership of your dick,” Jordan snarked.

“I had no doubt who it belonged to,” Xavier commented dryly. “He’s the villain in our story who breaks hearts because shoes no longer fit.”

Jordan stared at his friend as if he was mad, but I snaked my arm through his and leaned against his shoulder, smiling.

“Have you infected him with your crazy?” Jordan demanded.
