She cupped his cheeks and brought him to her, showing her acceptance of him and his dragon. When his lips touched hers again, he breathed into her and the heat that coursed through her both stunned and surprised her. At the beginning, it had been a little uncomfortable but soon it became a hot throbbing need that spread throughout her entire body.
Emily had no conscious thought of what she was doing except she needed to be one, feel him inside her. He continued to kiss her as he buried himself deeply. She could feel what he felt, how he loved her and thought of her as the most precious thing. “I love you too,” she whispered against his lips.
He looked into her eyes, his glowing dragon eyes shining back at her intently. She smiled up. “I love you both.”
“Feels so good, my mate,” he said with a growl in his voice.
He drove himself into her deeper, harder. With every thrust, every fiery breath, their souls fused into one. They were one body, one soul connected for all time.
Epilogue
It didn’t take but a moment for her father to fall in love with Wyatt. It did however take a few weeks for him to warm up to Drake. He sent his team away so he could remain to watch over her and Wyatt.
Drake’s people welcomed her father like they had her. Not only that, but one of the Drakonian women seemed to flirt with her father making his cheeks flare red. That was both amazing and embarrassing.
She stood on the front porch saying goodbye to her father. He had to return to his team but promised to visit. Of course, he had agreed to keep their secret. She knew he would. He would protect her and his new grandson no matter what.
Emily moved forward to hug her dad, holding Wyatt in her arms.
“I love you, Dad. Come back soon.”
“You won’t be able to keep me from my grandson, nor from you. I have a second chance with you. I’m not messing it up again.”
He bent down to kiss Wyatt on the forehead. Then he looked over to Drake. “You better take care of my girl and grandson or I will come back with a full arsenal.”
Drake shook his hand. “I expect no less of you, sir. We’ll see you at the wedding.”
“Yes.”
Then her father loaded up in his jeep and drove away. She missed him already. Drake wrapped his arms around her. “He’ll be back soon. Until then, we can work on giving him another grandchild.”
She looked into his eye and smiled. “I can’t wait. I love you, Drake.”
“I love you too, my little mate.”
