“Our home,” Kira said softly. “I like that.”
“Me, too,” Rock said.
* * * *
Olivia, Sam, Rock and Steve sat on the deck sipping beer. It was late and the sun was down. Rock looked into the living room where the subs plus Jenna were sitting on the floor watching Practical Magic. Rock was certain that Jenna was a submissive as well. Rumor was that she had negotiated a scene during her short time at the party and she had thoroughly enjoyed herself.
Olivia was thinking about inviting Jenna to join her and Charles for a little three-way to end the night but she was pretty sure that Jenna only liked males.
“Maybe she did some experimenting in college but I don’t think it’s still there,” Steve commented and Sam nodded.
“Carmen has never had a problem adding someone to the mix from what Kira has said,” Rock commented. “But those have been more like drunken orgies. Kira has also said she is extremely loyal to her Dominant when she has a permanent one.”
Rock looked at Sam.
“We are trying to figure out how to make it work,” Sam said. “Two girls though? I can hardly handle Carmen by herself.”
The others broke out in laughter while Sam shook his head.
“Still if the house was rocking I don’t think that Carmen would want Jenna to be left out,” Olivia said.
“Casey would have my balls if I suggested adding someone else,” Steve said. “I do want to keep my boys.”
“Well you all know that Kira doesn’t go that way,” Rock said. She had used Carmen as a demonstration tool for one of the flogging sessions and though others may not have seen it, Kira didn’t get into doing other girls.
“No, that was pretty apparent,” Olivia said. “Carmen didn’t seem to mind much though.”
“Fine!” Sam said as he finished his beer. “I’ll mention it to Carmen and see where it goes.”
Everyone nodded in agreement.
“Out of the fryer and into the flame?” Rock asked as he looked at Sam.
“I was a straight guy until I met you and Kira decided to show me that she wasn’t growing drugs in her Quonset,” Sam said as he looked at Rock.
“But you were miserable,” Rock said.
“Fine,” Sam said as he opened another beer. “I’ll give you that.”
Olivia looked into the living room. “Where are our subs?”
“And how much have they drank?” Steve asked as he saw two empty pitchers and five empty glasses. “Those were full of margaritas when we left them to start the movie.”
“So was that bottle of tequila,” Rock said as he looked at the empty bottle.
“Shots and drinks,” Sam said. “And now they are missing.”
Rock growled as he walked into the living room. He could hear Steve’s low mumble as well. Olivia looked like she was already picking out her favorite whip as she searched the back of the house.
“Nothing,” Olivia said as she came into the dining room.
“Nothing downstairs,” Sam said.
“Nothing upstairs,” Rock said.
“Looks like they made more drinks,” Steve said as he looked at the slushy spots dotting the floor and heading out the front door.
Rock pulled open the front door and looked outside. A fire appeared to be blazing in the middle of the maze that Kira had designed for her guests. A totally nude figure stood on top of the hay bales waving a stick that had a pair of thong panties and a bra attached to it.
Kira felt her stomach drop as she saw that the Dominants had finally noticed their absence in the house. As the four of them started down the stairs and toward the maze she nearly lost her nerve and wanted to beg for forgiveness. Then the alcohol and adrenaline surged through her veins and she went to battle mode.
“The enemy approaches. Stand fast and defend the keep!” Kira yelled to her comrades behind the barricades.
“This is the land of the subs and you are not allowed to enter!” Kira yelled at the Dominants.
“Kira.” Rock’s voice was ominous.
“Give them a volley,” Kira yelled into the maze ignoring her Master’s commanding voice.
Steve yelled as a water balloon hit the front of his chest and exploded.
Sam was nailed on his thigh and Rock barely managed to dodge the balloon as it sailed for his head.
“Another volley!” Kira screamed and this time all four of the Dominants took a direct hit.
Olivia was grinning and Rock even managed to laugh.
“Again!” Kira yelled.
Once again all four took hits.
“That does it,” Rock said as his pace quickened.
The Dominants started to run for the maze.
Kira shrieked, dropped the banner of the subs, and dropped into the maze, running like crazy to get to her friends. She joined them around the fire and picked up another stick. It had a white handkerchief attached to the top. The other four around the fire were giggling like mad but they were also holding the symbol of their surrender.
Rock was the first to peek his head into the center of the maze and the other three Dominants were right behind him. He barked his laugh when he saw five naked people sitting around the fire, holding sticks of surrender and singing Kumbaya.
“We are wet,” Olivia said.
“In our defense,” Carmen said. “We were behind the lines and didn’t know who we were aiming for.”
Casey looked at Steve and laughed. “Kira has a pumpkin launcher and it looks like it doubles well for a good water balloon launcher.”
“I get bored during the winter months.” Kira shrugged her shoulders. “With a few minor adjustments we were able to launch sixteen balloons at a time in the attempts to defend our fortress.”
As the fire died down, the Dominants collected their subs. Carmen pulled Jenna with her when Sam motioned Carmen to come with him. Rock smiled as he saw Sam’s eyes widen and he gave Sam an encouraging nod.
“Little flower,” Rock said when it was just him and Kira in the maze.
“Yes, Master?” Kira asked. His tone wasn’t threatening but it was sure forceful now that she didn’t have reinforcements around her.
“I got wet,” Rock said.
“I threw no balloons,” Kira said as her pulse picked up.
“You were the commander in charge,” Rock said, and he liked the way her chin rose.
“Yes I was,” Kira said. “It was a valiant effort and now we are all POWs.”
“You have no idea the tortures I’m going to make my little POW endure,” Rock said and he grinned when Kira shivered.
Rock held out his hand and waited until Kira placed her hand in his.
“Mrs. Pyre?’ Rock asked.
“Yes, Mr. Pyre?” Kira whispered.
Rock kissed her forehead and started to lead her out of the maze. “Let’s go home.”

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
“I’ll take Authors Bio for $200, Alex.”
Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, there isn’t much to say. I grew up with parents that were high-school sweethearts and are still married, had four younger siblings to torture during childhood, and made it into adulthood, thankfully, with minimal scars.
I reside in the middle of America with an intense husband, a son who takes after his father, and a daughter who likes to kick it with mom on weekends. The order on the totem pole is clearly apparent, but I also find that kind of abandonment enjoyable.
What is twisted, and aren’t we all?
“And that is the answer to the Daily Double. Thank you all for playing.”
