So Hot MC Boxset

Gripping him by the shoulders as the intensity of the kiss was even made more so by the powerful engine’s vibrations, I knew then without any doubt that I was in love with Lucas Hoss.

I loved my husband, but I loved this man too. I loved them in extremely different ways, but love was the only thing that it could be labeled as. And I didn’t mean just the sex either.

With our bodies completely connected, I felt whole in a way that I’d never felt before. And I didn’t know how I would ever stop wanting what we’d found.

The heat the motor gave off only served to make things better. The whole thing made me feel alive and I moved with more urgency than I had before. I wanted to feel my body climaxing with Lucas’ while the machine took us on a journey I’d had no idea it was capable of.

My nails bit into his flesh as my body began its ascent into an orgasm that proved to take his body on the same path. His cock jerked inside of me as we both came harder than we’d ever come together before.

He ripped his mouth away from mine as we both made terrible noises as our bodies flooded with endorphins. I felt the spasms of my orgasm throughout my entire body and the vibrating made our climaxes last for such a long time that it made no sense. And it didn’t allow us to stop wanting more of the same.

“I can’t get enough of you,” I let him know as I held onto his arms and started moving to stroke his still hard cock that pulsed inside of me. I knew I wasn’t supposed to feel this way, but I felt it, so I said it, “I love you. I want this to keep going.”

The way his face contorted nearly made my heart stop. But then it quickly went back to the same handsome face I was used to seeing. “We can’t.”

I shook my head as I moved faster. “We can.”

He held me by the waist, making me stop moving. “We can’t, baby. And for the record, I love you too. But we just can’t.”

I found it impossible not to cry and buried my face in his massive chest. Clinging to him, I just wanted life to be fucking fair. “Lucas, I’m not going to stop wanting you.” I pulled my face up to look at him. “Are you going to stop wanting me?”

He shook his head slowly. “But that doesn’t matter. He’s my brother, Hailey.”

Sniffling, I found myself laughing a little. “Bros before hoes, huh?”

“You’re not a ho.” He ran his hands over my back as he held me tightly against his chest, nuzzling my neck. “But I do have to put our brotherhood over this thing you and I have.”

“You mean the love we have for each other is what you have to put your brotherhood over.” I wanted him to know that this was real. “Lucas, we’ve found something real here.”

Nodding, he picked me up, placing my bare feet on the ground. “And I can tell you this, baby. Love comes and goes. We might feel this way right now, but it’ll go away in time. Love only feels real when you’re smack dab in the middle of it. When you back off from it, it fades into nothingness.”

Standing there, naked in front of him, I felt my entire body shaking. “You’re wrong. You’ll see. This won’t be easy to walk away from.”

“I agree.” He turned off the bike then got off of it. “But we will have to walk away from it.” Picking up my clothes, he handed them to me with a shallow smile on his face. “If love is real, then where is the love you have for your husband right now, Hailey?”

  Goddamn it!

  Chapter Eleven

  Lucas

Whatever Hailey and I had - it could only be temporary. That didn’t stop me from enjoying every single minute though. Waking up with her soft, warm body snuggled up to mine each morning had started my days off in the best way.

A little over two months had gone by, but it seemed like we’d been together forever. I’d never felt so at ease with a person. And I’d never felt more loved either.

Hailey had done it. She’d made me believe that love can exist. I still believed that it couldn’t last – but at least now I did know that it could exist for me.

Leaning up on my elbow, I used my hand to hold my head up as I gazed down at her. Her blonde hair splayed out on the white pillowcase looked like spun gold as the early morning sunlight made it glow. Her chest rose and fell as she slept soundly.

I’d found myself waking before her on most mornings just so I could watch her sleep for a bit. My heart ached every single time I did that. One day I would wake up alone in my bed and she would wake up in the bed she shared with her husband.

No one ever said that life’s fair. But why does it have to be so damn painful too?

My cell dinged on the nightstand and I had to turn away from the pretty sight to see who was texting me. It was from Lyle, our MC’s enforcer. He’d found out where the Angry Hogs called home. We were going to pay them a visit later that night and he’d called a meeting at our club’s headquarters at noon.

Getting out of bed, I felt the heat in the pit of my stomach. Once there was no threat against Hailey, she could go back to her place if she wanted to. I couldn’t help but wonder if she would actually leave me.

As I brushed my teeth, I knew that I had to learn to accept the fact that she would have to leave me sometime anyway. What did it matter if it was before her husband got out of prison or not?

  She will leave me.

Rinsing out my mouth, I looked in the mirror. My blue eyes stared back at me. “You are living a lie.” I nodded. “Or is it all just a dream? A crazy, wonderful dream – that you will one day wake up from.”

Shaking my head, I smiled as I thought that I must be going a little crazy since I’d begun talking to myself.

After a shower and getting dressed, I went back into the bedroom to find Hailey sitting up in bed, stretching and looking gorgeous as usual. “Morning, honeysuckle.”

A sleepy smile greeted me. “Good morning to you, leather.” With the blankets pooled around her waist, her bare breasts took my attention.

Making my way to her, I sat down on the bed then leaned over to kiss one of those delicious looking nipples. “You look good enough to eat, baby.”

“You’re already up and dressed. Got someplace to go?” She took my face between her hands, pulling it away from her tit.

I kissed her lips softly. “Yeah, in a little while I’ve got a meeting to get to.”

Her lips pursed as she pouted. “So, you’re gonna have to leave me with Cal again, huh?”

“I know he’s a bit rough, but he’s the least rough of all my brothers who aren’t on the council. Plus, he’s a writer and you’re an editor so I thought you two might have something in common that you could talk about.” I had chosen Cal to watch over her when I had things to do for a good reason.

With a smirk, she let me know what she thought of him, “I’ve heard about his writing. Porno is what it sounds like.”

“Oh yeah?” I hadn’t paid much attention to him when he’d talked about the books he’d written. “All I know is that he writes short stories that he’s compiling. So, porn, huh? Yeah, I can see him writing about that. He’s always ready to take any woman on when it comes to sex.” Suddenly, it hit me that he might’ve been hitting on Hailey in my absence. “He hasn’t come on to you, has he?”

Cocking her head, she looked at me like I was stupid. “Of course he came on to me.”

“Of course, he did.” Looking away, I hated the jealousy that bubbled up inside of me. “You know that you’ve got the right to have sex with any of Ryder’s MC brothers then?” I knew Cal had to have let her in on that little tidbit of info that I hadn’t told her about.

“Yep.” She wrapped her arms around me, kissing my neck. “But I only want you, leather.”

Holding her tightly, I kissed her lips, hating the fact that I’d already showered and gotten dressed. To get back into that bed with her sounded like the best idea to me. But we’d already slept in and I had to leave soon.

Pulling my mouth away from hers, I leaned my forehead against hers. “So, you’d better get up and get yourself dressed cause I’m about t
o call him and tell him to come over here.” I thought she should know how long he’d be hanging out. “You might as well prepare yourself for a lengthy visit with the man. Around eight this evening we’re going to pay the Angry Hogs a visit at the bar they hang out in. Cal will have to watch over you then too.”

“Awesome,” came her sarcastic reply. “I’ll go take a shower and get dressed. I’ve got a lot of work to do today anyway. At least that’ll keep me busy.”

And I would make sure that Cal knew not to try to entice my girl. This jealousy thing wasn’t sitting comfortably with me at all. I would have to figure out how to ignore it once Ryder was back in Hailey’s life.

Texting Cal about what I needed him to do, I went to the kitchen to make something to eat. I wasn’t the cook that Hailey was, but I could make toast and scrambled eggs. I’d just finished cooking when she strolled into the kitchen with her hair damp and her freshly washed skin shining.

Pulling her to me, I took a big sniff of her hair. “Um, I love that smell, honeysuckle. Don’t ever change your shampoo, baby.”

“Not ever?” she asked with a laugh. Leaning into my neck, she inhaled my scent. “And how about you never change this cologne you wear, leather?”

I only had the one kind. “Deal.” Kissing the top of her head, I reluctantly let her go so we could eat.

Pushing the food around her plate, I could see something was spinning around in her mind and finally she just asked, “Lucas, if you get those guys to back off and there’s no longer a threat against me, can I stay here instead of going back home?”

The way my heart leapt had me grinning like a crazy man. “You can stay with me as long as you want to. I’d prefer it actually.” Moving my hand over hers, I grazed my thumb back and forth. “We only have just so long. Wasting any of the time we have left isn’t a thing I want to do. But I will respect whatever you want - above and beyond what I want, Hailey.”

She looked at our hands then up at me. “I want to be with you, Lucas.” She bit her lower lip as her eyes went from blue to grey. “I don’t want anything other than that.”

I knew she’d been trying to figure out how to make things keep going for us. But that wasn’t going to be possible. “Until Ryder gets out.”

Looking back at her plate of uneaten food, she sighed. “I guess so.”

“You love him,” I reminded her.

“Yeah.” I watched her throat as she swallowed hard. “But I love you too.”

“But your future is with him.” I hated that I had to be the one to tell her things like that. It hurt me like hell to even think that far ahead. I liked to live each day as it came and not look too much at the future where she and I were concerned. But when she talked about us not ending, I had no choice.

She and I both had to understand the reality of our situation – as dim a reality as it was.

The sound of Cal’s Harley pulling up let me know we had company. Hailey got up, taking her still full plate with her, leaving it next to the sink. “I’ll go let him in. Finish your breakfast.”

As I sat there alone, it occurred to me that I had failed miserably at taking care of my MC brother’s wife. It had never been my intention to make her fall in love with me. Nor had I planned on falling in love with her. Yet, it still happened.

As I cleaned the dishes, Cal came into the kitchen with a brown paper sack in his hand. He dropped it on the counter. “I brought donuts, but I see you two have already eaten.”

“Hailey might want some.” I shrugged as I put the last dish in the drainer. “She didn’t eat anything.”

“Is she feeling okay?” He pulled one of the donuts out of the bag. “She looks down.”

I wasn’t about to confide in him about what had happened between us. “I think she’s just tired is all.”

Cocking his head to one side, he took a bite of the donut as he seemed to be thinking about something. “You two have been hitting it for about two and a half months now, huh?”

I didn’t like to think about what we’d done in those terms. “She’s been here with me for that amount of time, yes.”

“And you’ve been fucking since then, right?”

“Cal, please stop.” I didn’t want to talk to him about her at all.

He shook his head. “No. I’m not trying to offend you, man. I’m just saying that she’s looking kinda out of sorts and you said she’s tired. What if she’s – you know,” he moved his hands in a circular motion around his stomach, “with child? With your child?”

A burst of laughter erupted out of me. “She’s not pregnant.”

Hailey came into the kitchen with her face as red as a beat. “Are you two talking about me in here?”

Only one of Cal’s brows raised as he eyed her clinically. “Hailey, is there any way that you could be pregnant?” He looked at me then back at her. “With Lucas’ baby?”

Her jaw dropped, then she turned on a dime and left the kitchen. “No!”

With a slow shake of my head, I let him know that his day with her was not going to be pretty, “You should just keep your mouth shut today and this evening while you’re here with her. If you don’t want to really get her ire up and have her light into your ass. And I wouldn’t waste my time trying to come on to her if I were you. You’re not her type.”

As the day went on and turned into night, I couldn’t quite make the thought about Hailey being pregnant with my baby leave my mind entirely. I’d never even contemplated having a child, but if she’d been free, then I was pretty damn sure I would want one with her.

The council of the Iron Cobras and five of the riders in our gang rode up on our hogs in front of the bar where all twelve bikes that belonged to the Angry Hogs were parked. Tension filled the night air as we got off our bikes and headed into the place where we would hopefully end things once and for all with the little pests.

Carl – our president – led the way. As chaplain, I came in behind everyone else. I liked to be able to keep an eye on all of our members anytime we faced adversaries.

All eyes were on us as we stood in a line that went all the way across the room. No one would be getting out of the place unless we let them.

We’d all been shown pictures of the men in the gang during the afternoon meeting, so we all knew exactly who we were there for. Carl pointed out their leader, Joey Brand. “Brand, you and your MC brothers have a problem that we’re here to deal with.”

The bartender began clearing the bar of all items as he foresaw trouble. The women all retreated to the farthest corners of the room as well. It seemed the men had already made quite the rep for fighting instead of cooperating.

The twelve men came forward to stand in a line in front of us. Joey grinned. “And what problem is that, old man?”

All of the guys who faced us were young punks in their early twenties. They must’ve felt that with their youth, they had the upper hand. They were dead wrong.

Carl was the oldest of us all, in his mid-forties. The majority of us were in between that age and mid-thirties. We had experience where they had little to none.

Choosing to ignore the insult, Carl went on, “You’ve set up one of our brothers. That’s one.” He held up one finger. “You’ve had him beaten up behind prison walls.” He added a finger. “That’s two. You’ve made a threat about harming his wife.” He held up another finger. “That’s three. You know what they say, boys – three strikes and you’re out. So, here’s how it’s gonna be. You disband and forget about even trying to be a gang or things won’t go so great for any of you.”

Joey’s eyes scanned the line of us then stopped on me. He raised one long, thin finger, pointing it directly at me. “You took her.”

I didn’t bother answering him as Carl went on, “You don’t seem to understand me, boy. We are not here to have a conversation with you, we are here to end the Angry Hogs.”

Joey seemed like he hadn’t heard a word Carl had said as he continued to stare me down. “I want her. That motherfucker
is the reason my sister killed herself. Where we come from, it’s an eye for an eye. He hurt someone I loved – now I get to hurt someone he loves. Bring her to me and we won’t have any more problems. Do you hear me? Bring her to me!”

I didn’t hear much of anything after that. I just found myself moving across the room then slamming my fist repeatedly in the fucker’s face. The room erupted into violence as I continued to beat the fuck out of the man who’d had the balls to threaten the woman I loved.

Just as I was about to pick up a chair to finish the fucker, someone grabbed my arm. “Stop!” Carl had me by the arm. “Can’t you hear the sirens, Lucas? We’ve got to get the hell out of here. Someone called the fucking cops.”

Joey scooted backward across the floor to get away from me. Blood covered his face as his eyes stayed glued on me. I pointed at him as I told him in a cold, stern voice, “You stay the fuck away from her. If you so much as speak her name, I will end you.”

Carl tugged on my arm as he issued his final warning to them, “Disband and it will end here. Don’t and you won’t like the consequences.”

We left the Angry Hogs lying on the floor in wounded heaps as we left, leaving the place only seconds before the cops arrived.

As I drove my bike with my brothers, I started to come back to myself. I couldn’t ever remember a time that I’d gotten so angry. I’d never been that violent before. It was like I’d blacked out.

Little by little, the fury inside of me subsided as I headed home. And the knowledge that I would kill for Hailey filled my soul.

I truly do love her with every part of my being. A scarier thought, I’d never had.

  Chapter Twelve

  Hailey

Pacing the floor in the living room as I waited impatiently for Lucas to return, I saw Cal staring a hole in me. “Can you please stop doing that?”

“What the hell are you so damn worried about?”

Stopping to throw my hands in the air, I let him know what I was so worried about, “This whole thing is over me. If anyone gets hurt, it’s my fault!”
