So Hot MC Boxset

Taking my hand before I got to the top button, she cocked her head to one side. “Let’s leave that one undone, shall we? I see no reason not to show off a hint of cleavage since I’m showing off so much more with these skin-tight clothes you bought me.”
As it was, all the men who would catch the slightest sight of the woman would most likely get boners just from her appearance. But it was her body, not mine, so I had to let her have her way. “Okay, but just this top one, no further down. We’re not trying to give men blue balls from getting to look but not touch this masterpiece.”
Slipping her pants up her long legs, she looked me up and down as I’d yet to put my clothes back on after the sex-romp I’d promised her on the back of my bike. “I can put the rest of my clothes on. You can get dressed.”
“Okay. It was fun dressing you, though.” Reluctantly, I grabbed my clothes off the ground and started putting them back on.
“When we get back home after going to the bar, you can undress me if you want to.” Her sexy smile made my heart shudder.
The woman had metamorphosed into a biker’s dream. Ryder would be impressed. At least, I had high hopes that he would see her in an impressive light. Leaving Hailey home all the time when he was drinking with us at headquarters wasn’t a thing I wanted.
Sure, my reasons were purely selfish. If Ryder came in and said Hailey was sitting at home all alone, it would stir up things inside of me that might take my happy ass to her while he was out. And that wouldn’t be a good thing at all.
Plus, if he brought her around, I would get to see her, talk to her, know how she was doing. That was becoming increasingly important to me – keeping up our friendship. I wasn’t sure how we’d push the attraction away, but we had to give it a shot. I enjoyed the woman’s company far too much to lose that.
“I am dying for a beer,” she said as she pulled on her last boot. “I’ve never craved one more than I am right now. Maybe it’s the clothes – I don’t know – but I feel like I might actually fit in with your group, leather. And I like the way that makes me feel. Ryder kept me away from you all. Even when I did go with him on the handful of club runs he took me on, he never introduced me to anyone, telling me that they weren’t my type of people.”
Not that an MC brother should ever tell his brother’s female a thing about how he should be treating her, my mouth didn’t care about any of that. “You can’t let Ryder decide who you’re friends with, honeysuckle. And you can’t let him make you sit at home the way he did before he went to prison.”
Running her hands through her hair, she nodded. “Yeah, I’m not going to let him do that to me anymore. That’s why it’s important to me to get to know some of his group before he gets out and can interfere with that. I don’t want to be left at home while he goes out drinking with you guys. I don’t want to be left clueless about all the goings-on that he’s involved in.”
“Did his arrest surprise you?” Fully dressed, I climbed onto the bike that was still warm from where she’d been sitting on it.
I held out the helmet for her to put on and she took it from me. “It shocked the hell out of me. There I was, completely unaware of all my husband was into. The cops opened the trunk and there was all this drug stuff. I had no idea if Ryder had been framed or of it was really his. One of the cops had to drive me home since they had to cease the car. He asked me what I knew about Ryder and when I told him that apparently, I knew very little, he cautioned me about being so trusting. He said I needed to educate myself about anyone I’m involved with.”
“It’s smart to be aware of what you surround yourself with.” I figured she should know the basics about our way of life. “See, it can happen but rarely does, that any of our women ever get into trouble with the cops. They always say they know nothing about what we’re into – even if they do know – and they always know. We say the same thing, to make sure our women don’t go to jail. So, you might overhear some things, but you always maintain that you were just hanging out, partying, whatever, but you have no idea about any of the things anyone in the group does that involve illegal activities.”
“Got it.” She climbed on the back of my bike, running her arms around me to hold on. “You have no problem telling me things that Ryder just never seemed capable of.”
“I think Ryder put you up on a pedal stool, honeysuckle. He saw you like this princess who was above all others.” I knew that wasn’t really a place that anyone should be put in.
“Well, it’s pretty damn lonely up there on that pedal stool, I can tell you that. I hope he can get okay with the fact that I’m not going to be in that place when he gets out.” She leaned against my back. “I’m ready, leather. Let’s go.”
The evening light was just about to leave the sky as I pulled out of the remote area I’d found. Getting on the main road, I headed to our headquarters. It took a while to get back into town and I found the traffic flowing well even though there were lots of cars on the road.
When you ride a motorcycle, you have to stay alert to other drivers, especially around dusk and dawn. It’s harder to see at those times and makes being on a bike a bit more dangerous than other times.
Paying such close attention to the traffic, it surprised me when I heard the sound of more motorcycles coming up behind me. Then I saw one on either side of us as a few more moved around them to get in front of us. Looking over my shoulder, I found a couple more behind us.
We’re boxed in!
The red hogs with gnashing teeth on the sides of their helmet told me exactly who was fucking with us. The Angry Hogs hadn’t done as they’d been told to. They weren’t disbanded at all. They were still a gang and still determined to fuck with Hailey and our MC.
Hailey’s arms tightened around me as she had figured out what was going on as well. She’d put the dark black tinted face shield down to cover her face before we’d taken off, so I didn’t think any of the rival bikers knew who I had on the back of my bike. All they really knew was that I was an Iron Cobra from the decals on my bike. And once they’d gotten close enough, the patch on the arm of my leather jacket told them who I was.
As men who never shied away from a fight, we wore our names proudly on our club’s patch. So now they knew who I was, and they most likely had a pretty good idea who was sitting behind me. Joey Brand had already pointed me out before, knowing somehow that I had taken Hailey from her home.
The ass-whooping we’d put on the punks hadn’t even been forty-eight hours old and here they were, back on the road and bothering an Iron Cobra to boot.
Fucking idiots!
As I looked all around, I saw that the cars had all given this little scene lots of space, which was smart on their part and made things easier for me. Scoping out each opening I could go for, I found the two riders on either side of me were beginning to move in even closer.
But without the others moving at the same time they did, that left me the bigger opening that I needed. Gunning it, I zig-zagged away from them, but they were still hot on my ass.
Preferring not to deal with too many cars, I took the first exit off the highway and found them following me. Hailey had her arms all the way around me, holding her wrists to locked herself to me. Crossing underneath the overpass, we leaned over to make the sharp curve.
She might not have ridden much with Ryder, but with me, she’d ridden a lot and knew how to move with the bike now. As long as she didn’t begin to freak out, we would make it to the bar and then I would have more than enough men to take on this small pack of clowns.
Suddenly, from up ahead, I spotted six more single lights coming our way. There were twelve riders in the Angry Hogs and six of them were behind us. Suddenly, it felt like I’d been set up and not accidentally spotted.
Knowing that I couldn’t ride straight into them, I took a sharp left heading through a neighborhood and hoping no one was in the street for any reason. The gang converged behind me, and now there were twelve men chasing us.
Most men i
n gangs carried some sort of weapon or even more than one on them at all times. Shooting, throwing knives, or God only knew what were all things they were capable of doing.
Getting to my brothers was our only chance in hell of not finding our lives ending that night. They would have to kill me to take Hailey away. And I had the idea that she too would fight to the death, rather than be taken by them for them to do to her things only the devil would know about.
When I spotted a house I’d seen hundreds of times that I knew we could drive down the driveway and end up in an alley, I took the hard right, hoping to lose them.
I’d gained some space between us, so when I got to the alley, I headed in the direction they were coming from, doubling back on them. I heard the first bikes miss where I’d turned off, but then I heard the sounds of the rest of the slowing down to take the turn. Before I knew it, a line of single lights was heading my way and I had no choice but to speed up even more on the narrow lane.
If nothing else was going right, I was getting closer to where I needed to be. Two lefts then a right and there I could finally see the line of bikes that belonged to my brothers. I revved the engine to let them know that I was coming in hot.
A few shadowy figures began moving in the parking area, then I saw wild flailing hands as more of my men rushed out of the bar as the others had seen that I was being followed.
As I pulled into the parking area, I saw that my brothers were ready for who was coming after me. I pulled to the side of the bar and Hailey jumped off the back of the bike as fast as lightning.
Jerking my helmet off, I gave her an order, “Keep your helmet on and stay back here where no one can see you. Stay up against the side of the building where no light can hit you. You’re all in black and with the helmet on and the facemask down, no one will see you back here. And don’t come out until I come to get you.”
She nodded as she backed up, clinging to the black wall that camouflaged her completely.
Taking off to get to the front, I could already hear the sounds of the other bikes pulling up. I could not believe the fools would come to us. They had to have death wishes.
Every one of the Angry Hogs had cuts and bruises on his face as they all took off their helmets as they ran forward in a line at the men who had lined up to keep them out of the bar that was adjoined to our entire headquarters.
Joey Brand’s face was by far the worst of them all, and his eyes were back on me. I supposed he actually enjoyed getting his ass handed to him. “You are one dumb fuck!” I belted him right in the face as he ran right up to me.
Something hard caught me in the ribs, and I couldn’t believe the weight of his punch. He punched me three more times, knocking me back with each blow before I realized he had on brass knuckles. Somehow, knowing that made me even madder.
I slung back at him, uppercutting him then slamming my fist into his gut. He flew backward but one of his own men stopped his fall, pushing him right back to me. Fury filled his dark eyes as he roared like a bull and charged at me.
His shoulder caught me in my midsection and somehow he managed to move me some five feet or so before my feet stopped slipping on the gravel.
Once I had traction again, I pummeled his ass until he was on the ground. This time I heard the sounds of the sirens in the distance. “They’re gonna need a body bag to take you away from here, Brand.” My fist connected with his face once more.
But then someone grabbed him by the shoulders, sliding him away from me. The Angry Hogs were retreating to their bikes, climbing on then getting the hell out of there before the cops came.
My brothers and I stood there, panting, most of us feeling slightly confused. “I can’t believe they came here,” Carl said with astonishment. “If the cops hadn’t sounded the alarm, we would’ve finished their dumb asses right here tonight. They have no idea how lucky that got that someone called the cops.”
Hailey.
I went to where I’d left her and there I found her, sitting on the ground, leaning back on the wall. Her cell phone in her hands, she turned to look at me before pulling up the visor that covered her face. “Is it safe now?”
“You called them, didn’t you?”
She nodded. “I couldn’t help it. I was scared to death for you. You’re okay. That’s all that matters to me.”
“We could’ve ended them just now.” I slowly came up to her, reaching out to take her hand and help her up.
Taking off the helmet, she chewed on her lower lip. “I didn’t think about that. I just thought about you ending. I’m sorry that I screwed up.”
“Did you tell the dispatcher your name?” I didn’t think everyone knowing that she was the one who’d called the cops would have her making fast friends here.
“Not my real name. I said I was calling from a house the next street over and that my name was Ann Dowding. I hung up even though the lady told me to stay on the line.” She looked down and I could see she was feeling bad about what she’d done. “Do we have to tell anyone anything?”
Wrapping my arm around her, I let her know that I’d already made that decision. “No. Let’s not tell anyone a thing. Now all you have to do is never tell a soul what you did, and I will do the same. Come on, let’s go get that beer you needed so badly.”
Barely touching my lips, she groaned. “You’re hurt again, leather.”
“Yeah. Seems you’re gonna need to be my nurse again tonight, honeysuckle.”
There were worse ways to spend a night.
Chapter Sixteen
Hailey
Lucas sat me on a tall stool at the bar next to another woman who had long dark hair and big blue eyes. Her hand shook as she picked up a tall glass with dark liquid in it. “Damn, first night out after the baby and this is how it goes? You might as well start mixing me another one, Mable. Thank God the breastfeeding is over, and my life can get back to some sense of normalcy.”
The old bartender looked at Lucas. “And what’ll you two have?” She nodded then drug a small towel from underneath the bar. “Besides an ice pack for that busted lip.”
“Two beers and make them ice-cold please.” Lucas nodded at the woman sitting next to me. “Hey, Sarah. I think you might’ve been away at college when this one came around last. She’s Ryder's wife. This is Hailey Winslow.”
Sarah smiled at me as she looked me up and down. “Damn! Ryder really got a great one here.” She put her hand on my shoulder. “I’m Carl, the club president’s daughter. I grew up with all these rough and tumble guys. And Ryder has never brought anyone around who even came close to looking like you. So, how’s that going? I mean – I know he’s locked up – but before that.”
“It was going okay. He didn’t bring me around here except when we were heading off on a club run, so I don’t really know anyone.” I leaned into Lucas’ chest as he ran his arms around me from behind. “Lucas is helping me understand what my role as a biker’s old lady really is. Since Ryder seemed to have put me up on some kind of pedal stool that I didn’t even want to be on in the first place.” She’d said something about having a baby and I wanted to hear more about that. “So, you’ve had a baby recently?” She looked great. “You have bounced back from that like a champ, I see.”
“Well, she used me as her milk supply, quickly taking the extra baby weight off without me even having to try. But I just switched her over to formula and got a neighbor to sit with her while my husband, Axel and I have our first night out in months.”
“And it had to go like this.” I felt bad for ruining her night. “Sorry about that.”
With furrowed brows, she looked at me with confusion filling her pretty blue eyes. “Why are you sorry?”
Lucas let her in on that, most likely not wanting me to divulge too much. “That gang who had the nerve to chase us all the way here were the men responsible for framing Ryder. You remember that super goth chick that he saw for a little while – Kayla Brand – right?”
Rolling her eyes, she nodded. “Oh h
ell yeah, I remember her. Bipolar as fuck! It was so nice when he stopped bring her crazy ass around.”
“She really was crazy,” Lucas went on. “She killed herself shortly after Ryder dumped her. And her brother is the leader of that little pack of piglets. He wants an eye for an eye now. Ryder hurt his sister, so he thinks he needs to hurt someone Ryder loves – which is this little lady right here.”
“Damn.” Sarah took a long drink before adding, “So, these guys are really crazy too. Coming here was a death sentence. Well, until the cops came. That’s so odd too. No one in the surrounding neighborhoods has ever called the cops when there’s been trouble here.” She shrugged. “Probably someone new moved in and didn’t get the memo yet. I’m sure they will.”
I hoped none of the Iron Cobras started any trouble with the people in the surrounding neighborhood over what I’d done. Looking up at Lucas, he just shook his head. Mable placed the frosty mugs of beer on the bar and he picked one up, handing it to me. “Drink, honeysuckle. I’m sure you could use the alcohol to dull some of the endorphins that must’ve been filing your body when those punks put on the chase.”
Downing the first quarter of the beer, I did need the alcohol. “I was about as close to having a heart attack as I’d ever been when I saw them surrounding us. I’m gonna probably need at least six of these bad boys to stop shaking.”
Carl came up to us with his arm draped around a gorgeous woman with the straightest, silkiest dark hair I’d ever seen. Her bone structure was amazing, and her brown, doe-like eyes looked like they’d seen so much in her lifetime. “You okay, Hailey?”
“I am fine. Lucas kept me safe.” I smiled. “As always. I can count on him for everything.”
