“We came for her hand in marriage, Sir,” they said, kneeling before my father. Only instead of the wise Kingmaker who was my father in the medieval times, my father was the father I’ve always known growing up…the father of Lily and me.
“Tempest,” he said. If you know who to choose for your husband, you’d be a gifted Kingmaker like our ancestor. She was a gifted female Kingmaker. It’s about time that gift of choosing gets awaken again.”
Chapter 6
“Tempest,” a familiar voice gently said. “Tempest, wake up.”
“Daddy?” I called out still half asleep.
I woke up to look into the most beautiful azure blue eyes. Kaz. He was looking at me with such gentleness, which was so unexpected.
He reached a hand to my face, cupping my cheeks. “You’re so beautiful, Tempest,” he said. “I’ve watched you sleep so peacefully, I didn’t want to wake you.”
Finally able to pull my gaze away from him, I glanced down to see he was dressed only in silk boxers. His magnificent broad shoulders and 8-packed abs tapered down into a V that showed just a hint of hair above his already enlarge length.
“Is it just us two?” I asked. “Where’s Hunter?” I looked around.
Kaz looked a little annoyed. “Hunter? Is he who you want?”
“He saved me from Q2 when I first arrived and was lost. He helped me get to Kingsbury.”
Kaz sat up from the most luxurious bed I was in. It was larger than a California King, and so fluffy I felt as though I was in a cloud.
“How long have I been here?” I asked.
“For hours,” Kaz said. “I carried you all the way here on my back because I thought you would be tired. You were. You slept the entire time. And when we finally reached my place, you were still asleep. The guys and I let you sleep while we ate our bentos and drank the drinks from the cafeteria’s lesser royals’ side.” He smirked.
“You mean Peasant Royale side?” I asked. “At Kingsbury, you even separate the royals into lesser royals and whatever. I still can’t believe I’m living in this world.”
He only smiled at me. His eyes taking in my face. “It’s my world, all the time.” He looked like he wanted to touch my face again. “You should be the crown princess, Tempest. You are by far more of a princess than any of these royals at Kingsbury. You have that nobility in you.”
“I’m far from being a crown princess, Kaz.” I remembered how Veronica and Sabrina made it clear it was because of Kaz and his fear that the first common student to enter Kingsbury would bring down the royals, that they attacked me. “You should know that.”
Kaz stood up and walked over to a table by the window. “I have the bento, but it’s cold now.”
“Do you have a microwave?” I asked. “We can just heat it up.”
“Let’s take a look,” he said.
“You mean you don’t know if you have a microwave?”
“I didn’t need to use the kitchen to make anything before. I have a staff to do all that.”
“Where are they now?” I asked.
Kaz looked away. “I sent them home. They are all from town. They don’t live at Kingsbury anyways.”
“Why did you send them home?” I asked moving closer to Kaz at the table.
“I wanted some privacy. Just you and me, Tempest,” he said taking my hand and pulling me to him with a jolt. “Since you arrived, my heart has been in turmoil like the tempest you bring. I’ve been thinking of having you since you stopped me in the cafeteria. You made me look like such a fool, I was angry at you for a while. But then all I could do was keep staring at you…your beauty is rare, and you were so sassy and full of confidence; I’ve never met any girl like you.”
He stroke my cheeks with his fingers, before touching my lower lips with his thumb. He pressed on it gently, opening my mouth to him, as he kissed me fully, his mouth and tongue exploring mine. When he reached down to tear my panties off, the cool night air blew across my skirt lifting it so Kaz could get a glimpse of my naked core.
He groaned deeply, “Oh mercy, I’m going to have my dessert first like a bad bad boy.” He pushed me back onto his bed and grabbed my legs, pulling them so they rested on his shoulders, opening up my legs so he could dip his head in between my legs.
With the first lick of his tongue against my hot flesh, I nearly jumped.
He lifted his head to look at my face. “You’re as delicious as I dreamt you’d be. You taste like good old-fashioned apple pie, Tempest, and I happen to really love apple pie.” He licked me again and again, until I was grabbing his shoulder.
I moaned as my body shuddered with his onslaught. “Oh Kaz!”
I couldn’t take the heat any longer, the onslaught of his tongue on me, his teeth grazing my nub… “There’s more punishment like this to come, only I won’t let you have the satisfaction of coming.”
“Why, Kaz?” I moaned, “Why must you punish me?”
He lifted his head and kissed my stomach before facing me. “You want to know? Because, you represent something my family has tried to prevent for hundreds of years. I’m the crown prince of a country where people want to abolish the monarchy. We’ve had uprisings. We’ve even had assassin attempts.”
“I’m sorry,” I said reaching out to touch his arm.
“Living at Kingsbury Prep is a way for my family to keep me safe. My family helped convert this castle into an Academy for Royals to be a sanctuary. It has worked for hundreds of years. But with your arrival to Kingsbury, a commoner, it signaled the fall of monarchies.”
I pulled back. So he really did issue some kind of decreed to everyone to try to kick the new commoner girl out.
“So you hated me even before getting to know me,” I said.
“I hated what you meant. I hated what you symbolized,” Kaz said, moving closer. “But all that changed when I saw you.” He pulled me into his chest, holding me tightly, his hand in my hair. “Tempest, I’ve never wanted someone so badly in my life.”
He continued, “Then when Hunter said he’s found his one, and when Ori said the scholarship commoner girl was exquisite, I had to check you out.”
“You nearly had me killed,” I said.
Kaz closed his eyes.
“And raped,” I said.
Kaz stood up and said, “They went too far. They were only supposed to scare you, make you leave on your own…”
I was already putting on my clothes and reaching for my backpack, heading out the door.
“Tempest, wait,” Kaz cried out. “Tempest, please understand.”
I found my way out of the house and was walking towards my dorm room when strong hands caught my shoulders. Kaz.
“Don’t try to explain,” I said. “I can’t even look at you right now.”
“Tempest,” Kaz looked desperate.
“You know what you did almost cost me my life?” I thought of what if Hunter didn’t show up. What if I was killed by the students of Kingsbury? No one would know. Lily would be completely alone in this world.
“Tempest, I’m so sorry, but I didn’t think the student body would go so far.”
“Kaz, I’m sorry. I want nothing to do with you from now on.”
Kaz’s face fell, “You can’t mean that?”
“I do,” I said. With that, I walked back to my dorm room, and opened the door and found nothing strange or nothing missing. Kaz’s decree worked like a charm.
Chapter 7
The next day, with the first decree lifted, I walked the halls and attended my classes with the peace of mind of not having to worry about getting bullied.
I was finishing up my chemistry class when I saw Lina walking out of the ladies’ bathroom chatting with Veronica and Sabrina. How her hair used to be in side ponytails, they were now styled like Sabrina’s. She was even wearing her uniform like the way Veronica wore her uniform…shirt buttoned low to show cleavage.
“Lina?” I asked. “Is that you?”
She stopped walking and turned around.
“Oh, is it Tempest?”
Veronica and Sabrina stopped walking and turned around, too.
“Lina,” I said, “I’m sorry about what happened yesterday. I couldn’t get away from them. You saw that, didn’t you? I didn’t mean to seem like I had ignored you.”
“Can it,” Veronica said. “You’ve abandoned Lina. Some friend you are.”
“Yeah, we found Lina crying and found out how much she didn’t like you, too,” Sabrina said.
“If K3 could take you on as their pet, Q2 could take Lina on as a pet,” Veronica said.
“Okay, first of all, I am not K3’s pet,” I said.
“Looks to me you are,” Lina said. “Trust me, I’d rather be K3’s pet than Q2’s pet.”
“Then don’t be a pet, period,” I told Lina. “What are you doing hanging out with these two anyways?”
Lina said, “They were friendly and nice to me, that’s why.”
Veronica went to Lina and put her arm around her. “Like us, Lina has a huge crush on Kaz. We have that in common, and we are all…ta da! Real life princesses.”
Sabrina stuck out her tongue. “And you’re not.”
“Wow, seems like there are princesses everywhere at Kingsbury Prep,” I said. “Not all that impressive.”
“Well,” Veronica said. “You may have escaped us for a while because of Kaz’s decree yesterday, but the rest of the student body here still want you gone, with or without K3’s blessings.”
“So watch your back,” Sabrina said.
Veronica brought out something from her backpack. It was my photo album.
“How did you get that?” I asked.
“We can walk in or out of your room at any time,” Veronica said. “No matter what room you move into.”
So somehow Q2 had the master keys to every dorm room.
“If I were you,” Sabrina said, “I wouldn’t go back to your room if you know what is good for you.”
Veronica shot Sabrina a dirty glare before nudging her in the arm.
“What?” Sabrina asked.
“You dumbass,” Veronica said, kicking Sabrina down, “You just spoiled the surprise.”
Sabrina winced in pain as she got up.
I took that opportunity to grab my photo album from Veronica’s hands and run.
They were chasing me down the hallway when I heard a shot fired out, hitting the stone pillar to my left. I ducked into a corner and saw Veronica brandishing a Remington 870.
WTF?
When I heard footsteps approaching, I jumped out of my enclave and ran in the opposite direction. Another shot ran out and clipped the side of the building.
I tried to find a place to hide and was about to try opening a classroom door, when a hand pulled me into one of the rooms.
The room was pitched black and quiet. Very quiet, as though there were special sound proofing materials lining the wall. I took out my phone and used the flashlight.
Sitting next to me on the ground was Hunter. He smiled at me and brought a finger to his lips in a quiet sign for silence.
I nodded.
I also quickly texted Ms. Turlington that Veronica was out with a shotgun.
Hunter had his phone out texting the bulletin alert for the school to get the message out on Veronica.
We turned the volumes of our phones to mute, and stayed as silent and motionless as possible. It seemed like we waited for about an hour, but we wanted to make sure enough time has passed until it was safer.
So we waited and waited until I felt his arm pulling me towards him so that my head was lying in his lap. The stress of running away from Veronica shooting at me, made me more tense and tired than I thought.
Safely in his lap, Hunter’s fingers brushed through my hair gently as he massaged my scalp. Soon I was asleep and was turning my head to face Hunter’s stomach. I tried to make myself comfortable, but my cheeks were now resting on a bulge that was rock hard.
“You keep turning her head, I won’t be able to keep it together,” his husky voice whispered.
“Do you want to keep it together?” I asked.
“It would be so easy, so delicious… just one small kiss… just one taste…I’d would lose it.”
“Hunter, have you been trying to keep it together with me?”
“Every. Single. Second,” he breathe.
“Why?” I asked. “Why not let go?”
“Because you’re forbidden. As much as I want you, I can’t have you.”
“You’re such a tease,” I said.
Hunter chuckled. His voice was like a fine instrument with the notes rich in harmony.
“You have an amazing voice,” I said. “It’s rich and deep, yet soft and melodic.”
Hunter’s finger traced my cheeks. “And you…” he gulped. “You are unlike anyone I’ve met before. Strong, beautiful, kind, funny, and sexy as hell.”
“I’ll take that,” I said. “So what is this room we’re in?”
“One of my favorite rooms at Kingsbury,” Hunter said. “It was specially retrofitted so it could respond best to music.”
“Oh the music room,” I said.
“You play any instruments?”
“Yes, I play the piano,” I said. “I have for years, and when my sister and I became orphans, I had to try to earn a living of my own so I taught piano.”
Hunter’s fingers were combing through my hair and massaging my scalp again. “Like I told Kaz and Ori, you’re noble.”
“How?”
“You do the right thing,” Hunter said. “You choose to take the high road if it is right, even when it is the more difficult path.”
“How did you get that from just meeting me?”
“I did my research, Tempest. I wanted you to be the first non-royal student at Kingsbury. I was the student rep for that committee to choose the applicant. I chose you.”
“No wonder you seemed to know who I was that day on the beach and you rescued me from Q2.”
“I’d recognize you anywhere, Tempest.”
“Why?”
“Because I have you ingrained in my head.” Hunter sighed. “I can’t shake it off, too. No matter how hard I try.”
“Was that you trying hard that day when you and Q2 were going at it?”
Hunter laughed. “If you’d only known. There’s a long story behind that.”
“I was,” I gulped, “so turned on.”
Hunter’s eyes darken and his voice grew husky. “I was thinking of you the entire time…it was you I was fucking. It was you who was sucking me off. You whom I was touching.” He grimaced. “That’s the only way I could touch that bitch.”
“Veronica?” I asked.
“Yes. You’ve just gotten a tiny taste of what she’s like. Can you imagine her as the ruler of a powerful country in the next couple of years? She will be Crown one day…so God help us.”
“Why are you with her if you hate her so much?”
“Now that’s the long story, Temp,” Hunter said. “Let’s just say that being a royal isn’t as glamorous as everyone thinks. There’s a price to pay for being privileged. I’ll save my story for another time.”
“We’ve got time,” I said. “Unless you think it’s clear and we should go?”
Hunter sighed. “I have a million things to do, but I’d rather just stay here with you.”
“Me too,” I said. “I like staying here like this.”
Hunter bent his head down and softly traced his full lips against mine. It was so gentle, yet so full of promises.
“Your kisses for me,” I said, touching my lips with my fingertips. “They’re like whispers. I’ve never been kissed like this before.”
“That’s because those kisses were tailored made for you, Tempest. With a name like Tempest, you will need some balance of the strong with the soft.” Hunter growled, “Trust me, Tempest, when I give you my raw hungry kisses, it’s when I couldn’t hold back any longer…when my kisses can make you climax just like you are being fucked hard
.”
My body was already flaming up and all I could do is stare up into Hunter’s smoldering chocolate eyes. Our eyes were locked with desire. “I want you to fuck me so hard right now.”
Hunter had already pulled me up from his lap. He took off my blazer, setting it on a chair. He took off my tie, and slowly unbuttoned my shirt. When my full breasts were exposed, he kissed the top of them before unclasping my lacy lavender bra. “Oh God,” Hunter sighed, taking one nipple into his mouth and sucking on it. His hands kneaded the sides of both breasts while he feasted on my nipples, licking on them until they were rock hard, his tongue circling them stroke after stroke. He licked his way down my stomach, circling his tongue on my belly button before he licked it. I nearly jumped as heat filled me to the core.
He lifted my legs and kissed his way down, stopping to nibble on the sensitive skin of my inner thigh. I moaned. He looked into my eyes and fingered my core, pushing through my folds until he was rubbing my spot.
“Oh my God, Hunter,” I moaned.
“Are you ready to be Raw Fucked?” Hunter asked.
“Raw Fucked?”
“Yes, it’s my term for when I fuck you so hard, you become so raw, you’ll feel the effect days after.”
“Oh my…really?”
“Babe, of course,” he said. “Did you have to ask?”
“Raw Fuck me, Hunter,” I said. “Hell, just fuck me already.”
“Your wish is my command,” he said, positioning himself. He unzipped his pants and let it drop to the floor, letting out the most gorgeous, glistening long veined and bulging length of flesh. With a click of a button, heavy metal music began playing…the lead singer’s voice raw, edgy, and deep.
“That’s you singing, isn’t it?”
“Yup,” he said, lifting my lower half up. He threaded our fingers together. When the song started again, Hunter plunged deep into me, jolting me to the core. He then lifted me from my bottom until I was above the ground, almost floating, our hands connected through our fingers. He plunged into me hard then quick in small staccatos then hard pounding pounding drum beats. Each thrust, each plunge, sending delicious waves of heat and pleasure through me. He lowered my upper half to the ground while thrusting hard pounding strokes in me, over and over, thrust after thrust faster faster faster. He sat down on the floor and lifted me by my hips to continue at the frenzy pace.
