DIrty Dark Deceit: A Criminal Bad Boy Standalone

by Lacey Alpha

Less than five minutes later, Logan appears around the corner with a smug expression on his face. I stand, dragging my heels as I head toward him, feeling like a fool.

  “Hi,” I say tersely.

  “Hey sweetheart.”

  “How'd you find me?”

I keep to his side, following him back down the road.

“The hotel is right around the corner,” he says with a shrug, making me feel like the biggest idiot in the world.

As we walk side by side, I decide to make conversation. “What did you do before all this- theft?”

He remains silent for a moment and I steal a glance at his hard expression.

  “It's a long story.”

“Well, we have all night...” I say suggestively.

He shoots me a grin but says no more, grabbing my arm and tugging me sideways. I raise my brows, taking in the door to the inn.

He leads me upstairs to our room and the second I step inside, I feel unsafe. He has every right to jump me whenever he wants in here. And that both thrills and scares me.

Logan drops down onto the bed, the sheets creasing around him as he gets comfortable. He turns the TV on, seeming at ease. I guess he's not got sex on his mind. But I'm starting to have it on mine again...

I fall onto the bed beside him, propping my head up on the pillow whilst Logan flicks through French TV channel after French TV channel.

“Is there nothing on in English?” he grumbles.

“Well we are in France.” I wriggle my hips, trying to relax.

“Will you ever stop fidgeting?” He places a hand on my stomach, stilling me. The heat of his palm reaches through my vest top, seeping into my skin and shooting right between my legs.

He continues to flick through the channels, his hand remaining on me, his fingers gently starting to circle.

“That Daniel guy you were with, what was he like in bed?” Logan asks casually.

“What?” I splutter, sitting up straight, making his hand fall onto my thigh. I lift my knees, shaking my head. “That's none of your business.”

“I'm just curious.” Logan sits up too, sliding his hand to my knee. Evidently he isn't going to part contact with me any time soon. “How do I compare?”

“What does it matter? It's irrelevant,” I insist, my skin heating up all over. I am not giving Logan any more of an ego boost than he already has from me.

He gives me a wolfish look. “Did he make you scream like I do?”

I smack him on the arm, pushing his hand off my knee. “I'm not talking about this.”

“Why not?” He rolls onto me, resting his weight on my legs, lifting his head above my tummy.

“Because – it's private.” I can't concentrate with his mouth that close to my – area.

He teases the hem of my top with his teeth, dragging it upwards. I inhale as he exposes my skin, releasing my top and dipping his tongue into my belly button.

“Ah! Logan,” I giggle, fisting a hand in his hair and dragging his head away.

He raises his eyebrows at me. “I like when you laugh. Maybe I should stop bullying you.”

“Is that what you're doing?” I lift a brow, unable to fight a smile.

“I like to wind you up. It's incredibly easy.” He dips his head again, running his tongue in a ring around my belly button. Everything down south tightens in response, making my head spin.

“Well maybe you should try being nicer to me,” my voice is breathy, my mouth dry.

He lifts a hand, trailing his fingers along the edge of my waistband, barely grazing my skin. Goosebumps raise as he moves, giving him all the sign he needs to know how much he's affecting me.

“I can be nice,” he growls, lowering his head again and following the line of goosebumps with the apex of his tongue.

My stomach muscles tighten and a deep, sweet need grows in my belly. I sink lower on the bed and he encourages me, holding my hips.

“How nice?” I pant and he tugs my top over my head, grinning down at me.

“Real nice.” He whips his shirt off, discarding it and dropping onto me. As he settles his weight on me, his muscular torso rubs my tummy. He lowers his mouth to my neck, kissing ever-so-softly, moving up my throat, his lips barely grazing my skin. The effect is tenfold, making my toes curl as he rises to my ear.

“I can be gentle, too,” he says in a low tone and I lift my hips in response, grinding against him.

“Gentle? Now that I can't believe.” I giggle again and he slides his hands downwards, pushing my trousers with them. I wriggle out of them, kicking them onto the floor with my knickers.

“There's a lot of things you don't know about me, Darcy.” Sliding his hand between us, he feels my wetness, slipping two fingers inside me. I gasp, lifting my hips as he drives them in and out, achingly slow.

My thoughts scatter to the wind as he works my body, getting me ready for him. “We're going to do this nice and slow. And you're going to tell me who's better at fucking, me or your ex.”

I suck air through my teeth as he rubs his thumb onto my clit, circling slowly, blowing my mind.

“Okay?” he confirms and I have no willpower left to fight.

  “Okay,” I pant.

Everything down low throbs with heat and I know I'm wetter than I've ever been, his fingers slipping in and out of me in a relentlessly slow rhythm.

I sigh, arching my back as Logan removes his hand, tugging his trousers down. He takes his time putting on a condom, teasing me as I gaze at his impressive length.

When he's ready, he positions himself for me, kissing me softly, distracting me from the feel of him against my entrance. His kiss is deep, his tongue languid on mine. I forget everything but his mouth, kissing me like I've never been kissed before.

Slowly, he pushes inside me and I release a small moan. He devours the noise, his tongue sinking deeper into my mouth. As he starts to pump his hips, in and out, achingly slow, I can't think straight.

He slides his hands into my hair, caressing, moving down to my neck, my shoulders, my waist. My skin tingles with heat wherever he touches, like his fingers are capable of igniting fire.

“Logan,” I sigh and he kisses the corner of my mouth, his body reaching impossibly far inside mine.

I grow anxious for release, my insides gripping his length again and again until he's groaning. His pace remains controlled and relentless, friction growing between us.

I wrap myself around him, clinging to him, surrendering myself as I long for the release his body promises me.

As I start to unravel, my muscles constrict firmly and I know this is going to be intense. I clutch Logan's neck, moaning against his lips. He kisses me in encouragement, rocking his hips firmly, giving me what I crave.

I fall into ecstasy, losing all control of my body, going rigid beneath him and pressing my toes into the sheets. I cry out, lost to the incredible feeling, waves of pleasure coursing through my body until I feel I'll lose my mind. I've never felt anything so intense.

I'm only half aware of Logan finishing too, gasping my name and holding me in place as he fills me.

We're slick with sweat, sticking together, our bodies wrapped around one another's.

I regain a hold on my thoughts and rest my head on the pillow beneath me, my body as heavy as lead.

Logan kisses me sweetly, working across my lips in small pecks. “How was that?”

“Mmm.” I have no words, my mouth not working.

  He chuckles softly. “Good?”

“Mmm.” I breathe in deeply, tangling my fingers in his hair.

“Better than your ex?” He lifts a brow and I raise a heavy arm, dropping it over my eyes to escape the question. Of course he was better. And not just than Daniel. Of every guy I've ever slept with. Logan is phenomenal. And I know he knows it. I hate to give him the added ego boost he so clearly doesn't need.

“Darcy,” he growls by my ear.

  “Mmm?”

He laughs again, tugging out of me. In a swift movemen
t, he rolls over, pulling me on top of him so I'm forced to press my hands to his shoulders to steady myself. I grow more awake and give him a shy smile, ducking into his chest.

“Come on, give me your answer.” His deep voice rumbles through his body.

“Yes, better,” I say simply, not elaborating. Not telling him the extent to which he completely blew the competition out of the water. Or how my body is still tingling from his touch.

  ¸.•*´♥`*•.¸

I'm woken by a jab from Logan's elbow. It's been a long time since I woke up with a man in my bed and now I've done so twice in a row. He takes up most of the space like a damn bear.

I push his heavy arm away and he lifts it, dropping it over my shoulders. It's like being smacked with a club.

“Argh, would you ever-” I start angrily.

“You're not allowed to be rude to me in here, sweetheart,” he cuts me off, rolling over and lifting his arm so I'm freed of its weight.

“You said I had to be nice whilst you were fucking me, that's all.”

“I meant in the bedroom in general,” he growls.

“Well you should have been more picky about the words you used,” I sing.

“I want to make a proviso.”

A laugh fights its way out of my chest. “Alright.”

He stretches out into the bed, taking up most of the space again.

I huff but say no more, not wanting any lines to be crossed. The rules need to be honoured in order for this to work and I can put up with his one request so long as he sticks to mine. Not that I think there's any chance of me growing feelings for this guy. He's got the manners of a wildebeest.

Still, I can't help but notice he looks like a movie star this morning, his dirty blonde hair falling into his navy blue eyes. I run a hand into my hair which is matted and tangled by our sweaty tryst last night. I don't think I'm faring as well as he is this morning in the looks department.

“I love how girls look after I'm through with them.” He runs a hand into my hair and I grimace, moving away (into my six inches of space).

“And how many girls is that, exactly?” Do I even want to know the answer to that?

“God knows,” he mutters, rolling onto his back, rubbing his eyes sleepily.

“Ew.” My insides shrivel. Maybe this whole thing isn't such a good idea. “Should I be worried about catching something from you?” I sit up, hugging my knees, a little disgusted. I'm not sure if it's with him or myself.

Logan sits up too, the sheets falling around his waist. “I'm kidding, it's not that many. And I never go in without a skin.” He grins at me and I roll my eyes.

“I just wish you weren't such a manwhore.”

His brow furrows and I think I've actually offended him.

“Oh come on, you can hardly deny that's what you are.” I slip out of bed, grabbing some clothes and heading to the bathroom.

“I guess,” he murmurs as I slip away.

  ADAM

  Five years ago

“Where did you..?” Mum's voice carries from downstairs as I stand in the bathroom brushing my teeth.

Boxers and a half open shirt is about as far as I've managed to get this morning. I'm running seriously fucking late for my lecture.

“Just take it, don't ask,” Logan's voice sails to me, his firm tone making me step out into the hallway to listen.

I slowly scrub my teeth, focusing on their voices.

“Please tell me you haven't been stealing cars again, Logan. Please, tell me you're not going to break my heart again.”

My brows draw together. Fuck, Logan's giving her money.

“No Mum. I got a promotion. This is an advance.”

Mum goes silent and I wonder if she'll buy it. “Really, my boy? Really?”

“Yes Mum.” His voice is tight. It should be. He's fucking lying to his mother. My mother. “Put it into the pot, like the rest.”

That makes me frown, really frown. Pot? What fucking pot?

I return to the bathroom to spit and rinse, tugging on some trousers before heading downstairs.

“You don't need to work two jobs any more,” Logan says and I halt, wondering if they'd stop talking if I walked in. It doesn't feel like a conversation I'm privy to.

Mum sighs softly. “Are you sure?”

“Yes, this is just the start. I'm practically management at that place now.”

  More lies. Poor Mum.

“Really? Promise me you're not lying, Logan.”

“I promise,” Logan says, his voice deep.

That one hits me in the stomach like a fucking sucker punch. Poor, poor Mum. And worst of all, it's not just him lying to her. I know the fucking truth. I know he works for that psycho Heathcote now – though he won't take me to drop-offs any more. Not for love nor money.

If Mum had any idea the danger he was putting himself in every time he got a little text message from Ralphy, she'd lose her fucking nut.

I enter the kitchen to discover a sight I haven't witnessed since before Logan was a teenager. They're hugging. Actually hugging. He's got our tiny mum wrapped in his huge arms. And fuck, his arms really are huge. Is he working out again? Damn fucking protein-shake shitbag.

I need to get to the gym. Like yesterday.

“Please tell me no one died,” I say as I enter the room, feigning ignorance to their conversation.

Mum pulls away, reaching for me. Oh fuck. Does she want us to have a three-way cuddle? Like the old days, when I barely reached her thighs in height?

“Come on, little bro.” Logan reaches for me too, grinning his fucking head off.

I roll my eyes and join their hug, giving Logan a look that says 'I see you, bro'.

  ¸.•*´♥`*•.¸

I walk into Kira's dorm room whilst she's Skyping her parents. They're back in Eastbourne, the little seaside town where she's originally from.

I have a bag of candy floss with me, clamped behind my back. My idea of romantic, I guess. But I know she loves the stuff. Specifically the blue one, even though they taste the damn same.

Bending low, I kiss her cheek then wave at the camera. “Hi Mr and Mrs Wu.”

“Oh, hi Adam,” her mum answers, waving, bright-eyed.

“Anyway, I totally rocked my presentation,” Kira continues telling her parents. “Professor Leopold was practically crushing on me.”

“Better not have been,” I mutter, moving to the old television on her desk. It's not even flat screen and has four buttons on it. Where did she even get this heap of crap?

Kira says her goodbyes and I spin around, holding out her candyfloss.

  She gasps. “Blue!”

  “Uhuh. Your favourite.”

“You're the best, Ads.” She places her laptop down and lunges at me, snatching the candyfloss.

In the next five minutes, I watch an appalling display of her practically inhaling the entire ball. It's one of those 'I can't watch but can't help myself' moments.

  She's a bloody animal.

A sexy animal. With a bright blue tongue.

She pokes it out at me, her eyes falling to my crotch. “Lets see what else we can make blue.”

  LOGAN

“I think it's about time you taught me to steal cars, bro.”

Adam's voice finally broke at sixteen. Deep as fuck. It's still weird getting used to it.

I'm taking him for a spin in my latest victory. “Not happening, shitface.”

He puffs out his chest. Just like me, taking out a joint from his pocket, also just like me.

I glance at him and all I can think is:

Don't be me. Don't be me. Don't be me.

As we're leaving the inn, I can't get Darcy's comment out of my head. I've never thought of myself as a manwhore before. I just like having sex with women. All the time.

Shitballs. I guess that's the definition of a manwhore.

It makes me wonder if everything else she's said about me is true.

As we walk to the Mercedes, Darcy keep
s glancing at me. I ignore her as best I can, dropping our bags into the boot and entering the car.

What are you looking at, sweetheart? Apart from the best fuck of your life.

“We need to change cars,” I comment as we pull down the road.

  “Really?” she asks, sounding uncertain.

“It'll be fine,” I say vaguely, focusing on the drive. I'm not really in the mood to talk, my mind feels cloudy, my thoughts muddled.

  “Everything alright?” she asks lightly.

  “Uhuh.”

  “It's just, you seem off.”

  “I'm not.”

  “Doesn't sound like it.”

“I'm fine, Darcy,” I bark, catching sight of her jumping in the corner of my eye. I sigh, taking a deep breath to get my anger under control.

“Is this because I called you a manwhore?” she says in a small voice.

My blood runs hot and my shoulders stiffen. “Of course not,” I lie.

“Because I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said it.”

I glance at her, her grey eyes wide with apology. My chest wrenches open at the sight.

“It's fine, Darcy,” I say earnestly. “You were only telling the truth.”

Before she can say another word, I yank up the handbrake, parking the car in a quiet road a few miles out of town. I spring out of the vehicle, grabbing our bags from the boot.

Glancing back, I spot her following, gathering her grey cardigan around her paisley blue dress. She hurries to my side and I'm filled with the urge to put my arm around her. What's the matter with me today? I'm the last person to get all touchy-feely with a girl. Why does she get under my skin so much?

We walk for nearly a mile before we arrive in a more suburban area. Rows of cars are lined up outside restaurants and cafes, all busy with the morning thrum.

“Hm, this should be a challenge.” I take Darcy's wrist, guiding her into the shadow of an overhanging porch, scouting out the CCTV cameras in the area.

Thankfully, it isn't heavy on security. There's one camera on each corner of the lot, leaving a nice blind spot between the two. Dropping our bags behind a low wall, I turn to Darcy.

“Pick any car between that Ford Fusion and that black MG down there.” I raise my arms, framing the row between them.
