“I'm about to do more than just kiss your neck.”

A moan ripped through the air as Reed raised his left hand to her collarbone and began trailing his fingers across her soft figure.

“I need you, Geneva.” Reed couldn't help the words that were torn from his mouth as he focused on pleasing his woman. All she had to do was look at him and he was a goner. Gathering up her long skirt in his hands, he scrunched the material so that it sat above her waist. His fingers trailed against her soft thighs until he reached heaven. When his fingers touched her soft bare mound, he sighed deeply in her ear. “Oh baby, is this all for me?” Wetness seeped onto his fingers as she spread her legs in invitation. Just the touch of her skin made him go crazy. His cock was stretching and lengthening as he pictured himself diving deep into her warm wet channel.

Within seconds he had her clothes ripped from her body. She stood there naked in his arms as he rubbed his hands along her breast, her hips, her thighs. Dipping one long finger into her core, he welcomed the moan that released from her mouth. He slid in and out of her making sure she knew what was coming next.

“Give me more. I need more Reed.”

Sliding a second finger into her pussy, he pistoned his fingers back and forth mimicking what he wanted his dick to be doing within a few moments. Her passion filled voice was loud in the room. “Yes, please. Mmmm, feels so good, Reed.”

“You feel so good. I need you so much,” his lust-filled voice was rough and raw. Lifting her in his arms he walked back towards her bedroom. Her laughter reached his ears, but he didn’t care. Nothing was getting in the way of him getting inside his woman.

“What about lunch?” Geneva’s question caught him off-guard for a second, but he didn’t stop his stride.

“Don't worry about me, I'm about to have my lunch in a few seconds,” he said, squeezing her ass in both his hands. She dipped her head shyly, and he laughed at her bashful face. Damn, if he wasn't careful, he’d be falling in love soon. Walking into the bedroom, he lay her down on the bed with her back against the pillows.

Her mouth lifted in a smile. “Are you going to give me a strip tease?”

“Is that what you want?” For her, he’d damn sure try.

“No,” she answered, shaking her head. “I just want you naked. Sliding inside of me.”

Reed had never moved so fast. His clothes came off in seconds. They only had an hour or two before they had to leave for their respective Clubs. He had to make the most of their time together. She said he was insatiable, he thought with a grin. Damn straight he was. But only for her.

  Chapter Ten

Two hours later, Geneva walked into the Lady Guardians of Fairfax Clubhouse. There was a large group of women sitting around. Some laughing, some eating, but all of them waiting. She wasn't afraid or concerned about what her Diamond would say, but she didn't want any drama. This issue was hers to deal with. She didn't want anyone else getting involved in her problems. Although the best decision was to let her Prez know what was going on to cover all bases, she still didn’t like to be the focus.

“Hey Geneva,” her friend Angela called out. “What's up girl?”

“Hey Angela,” she returned, making her way across the room.

“So, uh, where you been all day?

  “Home. Why?”

“Because I drove by your house. And I not only saw your car, but I saw a different motorcycle in front of your house,” her friend gave her a side-eye, waiting for Geneva to respond.

Sighing, Geneva couldn’t help but roll her eyes. “Angela, why are you driving by my house?”

“Because I wanted to know,” she said, smirking.

Geneva gave her a look, then glanced over at Penny whose face was contorted as if she was trying to hold back the laughter. Everything in her said not to ask, but she couldn’t help it. She was a glutton for punishment. “You wanted to know what?”

“I wanted to know if you were fucking that fine ass white dude,” she guffawed.

Crossing her arms over her chest, Geneva smacked her teeth. “Well did you get your answer?”

“Hell yeah, I got my answer. And now I want to know how it was? Was he as good as I thought he’d be? Did he blow your back out?” Her laughter rang throughout the large space and the other Club members in the room looked towards their table probably wondering what the hell Angela was over here cackling about. Geneva wasn't one to tell secrets, but she knew her face gave away more than she wanted. “I'm not telling you a damn thing, Angela. You don't need to know who the hell I'm fucking. Girl, you better go get your own man.”

Penny burst out laughing at this. “Pay up Angela. I told you she wasn't going to tell. I don't know why you insist on knowing about everyone’s sex life. You need to stop that shit.”

  “Exactly", Geneva echoed.

Angela sucked her teeth. “Well, damn. It’s like that, huh?” Picking up her drink she was silent for a few seconds. “I just wanted to know if I needed to go out and find me a fine ass white man as well. Why do you have to be so stingy Geneva?” As they all burst into laughter at Angela's antics their Prez walked into the room.

“Geneva. Angela. Penny.” She greeted each of them with a smile and a head nod. “How you ladies doing today?”

“We're fine. Good to see you,” they all responded in various ways.

“Okay, so I know this situation you're in Geneva is probably something you want to keep to yourself. But, I think with everything going on we just need to get it all out in the open. We're all about protecting each other. This Club is more than just a group of women who ride bikes on the weekends and help our community. This Club also protects its members. You're one of us. That means we have your back. If someone's after you then that means we need to step in and make sure you're safe. So, this isn't going to be church. This is going to be all of us coming together to talk this shit out. You good with that?” Looking at Geneva, she raised one perfectly arched eyebrow in question.

“No problem with me, Diamond. I just figured this was something I needed to handle myself.”

“Oh yeah?” she paused. “I hear you're not handling it all by yourself,” she said with a smirk.

Geneva had a moment of panic, but knew she couldn’t go down that path. Diamond already knew about Reed and from the look on her face, she was about to get some shit because of it.

“You didn't think I would find out that a member of another MC was protecting our girl?”

Geneva squirmed in her seat, “Protecting?”

“Yes, protecting. Because ain't no man going to spend his entire week at a woman’s home knowing the kinda shit going down without making some kind of claim. Now, you may not know what’s going on between the two of you, but he's already told his Club President what his intentions are. Common courtesy brought his Prez to me.” Shrugging her shoulders, she sent Geneva a small smile. “Either way you look at it. You have the protection of Odin's Soldiers. This dude you’re seeing, his name is Reed, right?” Geneva nodded.

She looked over at her friends who both had smirks on their faces. Damn. They already knew this was going down.

Diamond continued, “Well, Reed has already made sure his Prez knows that he's not leaving you until this is settled. And I doubt he’s going to leave your side once all of this is situated.”

Geneva thought back to some of the things Reed said to her during this past week and agreed with Diamond’s assessment. Reed wasn’t going anywhere. Not if he could help it. But she needed to decide if that's what she wanted. Could she handle being with someone like him? He didn't wear a suit every day. She’d be surprised if he had a damn 401(k) account. Her Prez's voice broke through her solitary thoughts.

“All right ladies let's talk this shit out.” She called out to the other ladies sitting around the room, waving her hand at them as they all started to gather up their food, drinks, or whatever they were doing and walked over to the table. Sitting back she watched as everyone gathered around the table. Some gave
her questioning looks, wondering what the hell was going on. She shook her head, basically telling them to wait for their Prez to announce what was happening. Once everyone was ready, Diamond stood up in front of the group.

“Ladies we have a situation. Geneva's dead-ass boss was involved in some shady shit. And now those people he was involved with have decided to fuck with Geneva. They want her to provide what her old boss can’t anymore. Well, she's not doing it. And they're not happy about it. So, we all need to be on the lookout. Some shit might be going down soon. And while we are not the type of Club that gets involved in that one-percenter mess, we all need to make sure we're watching Geneva's back. We have too many skills in this Club to let this fly. Cops. Former military. And too many people with brains in their heads. Whatever your specialty, if you can help Geneva get through this bullshit, then I need you to help her.”

Diamond looked over at the Vice-President, Deuce, and nodded her head. Deuce stepped up to the front of the room and began speaking once Diamond was finished. “Also, there's some shit going on with the Arlington Club. Their former President has been kidnapped.” Mumblings could be heard throughout the entire room.

Even Geneva began to question if the calls and the other happenings with her connected to what was going on with the Arlington Club. No, it couldn't be. Because the person who called her specifically mentioned her boss. The Arlington Club had nothing to do with her or her boss. They didn't even know who the hell she was, she was a nobody to that Chapter. Well not a nobody, but she didn't hold an office.

Deuce continued speaking, “The National President, Justice, is going to be down here soon. She's coming to talk with the Arlington Chapter about what's happening with the kidnapping. While she's down here, she's going to talk to our members as well.

Geneva stood up, “I really don't want National to get involved in this. I don't want any drama. I don't want to be that member who brings her shit to the front door of the Club.”

Diamond stepped up, holding up her hand for Geneva to stop talking. “That's just what we do. So even if nothing comes from this, National needs to know. President Justice needs to know. And she needs to know that this Club will protect its own. No matter what.”

After a few more comments and logistics about the National President and Vice President coming down to Arlington, the meeting broke up. Diamond and Deuce had to go somewhere else and talk to one of the male MCs that was occupying the area. Geneva also knew Diamond would be talking to the Odin's Soldiers again. As she’d walked out, she called out over her shoulder, “I'll make sure to let the OS Prez know that you're going to be safe and that the Lady Guardians have no issue with what's happening between you and his soldier.” Before Geneva could say anything further, Diamond exited the room with Deuce trailing right behind her.

Geneva put her head in her hands as she thought about everything Diamond had said. Not only was the Lady Guardians National President coming down to Arlington to deal with a serious issue, but now she had to deal with Geneva’s issue as well. Fuck! This was not what she wanted at all.

Reed was on the verge of identifying just who the hell that call had come from. And the police, who were usually worthless, seemed to have a few leads of their own. She just wanted this entire situation over so she could get back to living her life. But would that mean Reed would leave as well?

Angela was the first one to speak up and break the silence, “So, uh, tell us again about this dude that's been hanging out at your house? Is he blowing the back out or what?” A huge smile covered her face.

Geneva’s eyes went wide as her other friends laughed. “Damn, girl, you’re like a dog with a bone. I'm not telling you shit. Now, I didn't get to eat lunch and I’m hungry.”

Penny looked at her with a sly glance in her eyes, “Why didn’t you get to eat lunch? It's already three in the afternoon.”

Geneva couldn’t help her lips from tilting up in a wide smile. Seeing her friends about to pounce, she schooled her expression and cut her eyes, “Don't worry about why I didn't get to eat lunch. You just worry about yourself.” Laughing, the small group of women got up from the table and walked over to the kitchen to grab some food. Because so many of the members either worked here at the Club or close by, one of their members—who also happened to be a trained chef—took on the role of Club cook during lunch and dinner. That she was trained at one of the best schools in North America was just a plus.

Forty-five minutes later, Geneva had a full belly, but her mind was in a whirlwind. Reed hadn’t called or texted her since she’d arrived. Now that she had proof his Prez had contacted hers, she was worried about what he was going through with his crew. Was his Prez as understanding as hers? She doubted it. Were his fellow MC members giving him shit for spending all his time with a woman? Of that, she was almost certain.

She wanted to reach out to him. Just to see if he was okay. Not because she couldn’t stand to be away from him too long. That was just silly talk. He would be picking her up soon enough, but she honestly didn’t want to wait that long. She wanted to talk to him now. Her phone buzzed in her pocket, indicating a text was coming through. Almost giddy with excitement, she picked it up hoping it was a message from Reed. What she got was like a shot to her gut. The text wasn't from Reed. Oh no, this was someone completely different.

It was from an unknown number. ‘We told you not to go and tell the cops. If you don't have our shit within the next day or two, there’s going to be hell to pay. We don't give a shit who's protecting you.’ Dropping her phone on the table, Geneva stood up and backed away.

“What's wrong Geneva?” Angela asked, standing up with her.

“Geneva? Why are you looking like you just saw a ghost?” Penny was standing on the other side of her. Her face pinched in alarm. “Who the fuck was that text from?” her friend demanded she answer, but the words wouldn’t come out.

Oh fuck. Oh fuck. The words kept repeating in her head. How did they know Reed was staying at her house? How did they know she had contacted the cops? She had been so careful. They’d taken every precaution. Either, they had her house bugged, or they had someone on the inside feeding them information. Someone had ratted her out. She had to call Reed. She had to let him know what was going on.

Penny grabbed up her phone and looked at the message. “Oh fuck, Geneva. What the hell is this shit? These people have your cell phone number?” Her friend was freaking out and she needed her to remain calm.

“What the hell are you talking about?” Angela said as she snatched the phone out of Penny’s hands.

Geneva knew she was stuck. There was no getting around it. The whole story needed to come out now, not the condensed version shared with the group earlier. With this text message coming through, she had no choice. She needed to let Penny and Angela know what was going on. And she also needed to contact Denise. If Denise was left out of this, there will be hell to pay. Looking at both of her friends she tried to take a few deep breaths to calm down. “I know, I know. I owe you both an explanation. But I need you to get Denise here as well. I'm not going to retell this shit twice. So, either I tell you all at once, or I'm not telling it at all. And... I need to call Reed. I need to let him know what the hell just happened.”

Angela gave her a look of sympathy that was also filled with a touch of understanding. “I get it. You call your man. We'll call Denise. But either way, we're getting to the bottom of this shit right now.”

Penny piped up, “Yeah, you both handle that. I'm calling Diamond right now to let her know about this text.”

The three ladies went off to do their own thing and make the calls they needed to make. Geneva's fingers were shaking with anger and frustration as she dialed Reed’s number. It rang a few times with no answer before she hung up. Why wasn’t he answering? If he was going to be her bodyguard, then he damn well needed to answer her calls. Mind swimming with the possibilities, she felt a headache coming on as doubts began to fill her thoughts.

  Maybe he
was in a meeting that he couldn't get out of. Maybe his Prez was telling him to leave the black woman the hell alone. Just as she was about to say fuck it and call him again her phone rang. Seeing Reed’s name pop up on the screen made her smile. She released a deep breath and answered. Before she could get a word out, Reed's voice came across the line.

“Baby, what's wrong? You called me and then hung up. Don't ever do that shit again,” he practically yelled. “You had me worried out of my damn mind something had happened to you.” His breathing was deep and heavy through the phone, as if he’d been running.

“It's okay. I’m okay,” she interrupted. “But I need to let you know what just happened. Are you free? Can you talk?”

“Yeah. Give me a second just to walk to the other side of the room. We're just sitting here catching up with each other.” She heard Reed moving over to the other side of the room. After a few seconds, his voice became clear again on the phone. “All right, I’m back. So what happened? What do you need to tell me?”

A sudden case of the nerves rushed through her. He’d been her first thought. Call Reed Get to Reed. Now that she had him on the phone, she wondered what to say. Biting her lower lip with her teeth, she plunged ahead. “I got a text Read. I don't know who it was. But they know where I am. And they know we called the police.”

Reed interrupted her, “What the fuck do you mean they know we called the police?”

“I don't know. But that's what they said. And... They know you've been staying with me.” That’s the part that worried her the most. That meant someone was watching her house. Seeing Reed come and go. Did they have cameras in her home? Her body began to shake as she thought about those motherfuckers watching her and Reed. Not in fear, but in pure, unadulterated anger. She’d done nothing to deserve this bullshit and if she could kill her boss all over again, she would.

She heard Reed curse through the other end of the phone. “I'm on my way. I already talked about your situation with my prez. He knows I'm not going to just let this go. Someone is after you, and I’m going to find out who they are. This shit’s gonna get handled one way or another.”
