Lassoing The Last Dance (Double Dutch Ranch; Love At First Sight Book 4)
Page 28
Why did I create a spin off series to the Double Dutch Ranch Series? The spin off series takes us off the Double Dutch Ranch, and into the lives of others who are either acquaintances or friends in Canyon Junction. Even a newcomer will come around now and then. Our Carlson family and Randy do make appearances. If you’re a fan of the Double Dutch Ranch family, then I’m sure you’ll like the spin off, Canyon Junction: Hearts in Love Series.
When Randy’s character appeared in my mind, he didn’t only come as a horse trainer, but he showed himself as a poet and painter as well. The poems were written by yours truly.
If this is your first book by me, I’d like to thank you for taking a chance to begin a new series with a new-to-you author. A review is always appreciated.

Acknowledgement
Spoiler Alert if you haven’t read the book yet: Certain acknowledgements in this section give away an important factor about Roxanne maybe before you want to know. Stop here if you don’t want to know in advance.
Extensive research and conversing with the right people allowed me to write Roxanne’s character as a below the knee amputee. While researching, I was happy to see many forums and informative websites set up with helpful and easy to understand information, with members willing to help with questions about what it’s like to be an amputee.
I’d also like to mention Christina Stephens, better known as the AmputeeOT, for her wonderful videos and sharing of her own life online. Thanks to Karen M., a person I know personally, who became a caregiver to her mother who was a below the knee amputee (BK/BKA).
Thanks to Period Images for creating the perfect images to match my genre. A big thanks to the hot, and so friendly, cover model Vikkas Bhardwaj for portraying my Randy on the cover.
Retired police officer and trainer Richard Johnson gets an extra special mention for helping me out with my police procedures. An additional shout-out goes out to the Crime Scene Writer Yahoo Group where I can freely ask questions and get answers from experts in the field of law enforcement, and much more.
