I haven’t told Tarak this, but when I suggested this place, the idea was in the back of my mind all along.
Otherwise, what else is this great, barren expanse of land going to be good for?
Humans certainly don’t want it.
Kordolians, on the other hand, will use their advanced technologies to mould it, shape it and bend it to their will. The Kendricks’ family property is about to become the Earth-based stronghold of the New Kordolian State.
And presiding over it all is this stubborn, imperious male; the father of my child and the one that I love.
I wouldn’t have it any other way.
As I stand in the cold, clear dawn with my baby in sleeping in my arms, surrounded by Tarak’s warm embrace, a calmness settles over me. A faint breeze whips around us, bringing with it the scent of the desert, carrying faint hints of dust and sand and the ancient Earth. And right now, there’s no other place in the Universe I’d rather be than here, in the arms of my fierce Kordolian General.
I am home.
Dear readers, thank you for taking the time to read my book. I do hope you enjoyed it. The next book in the Dark Planet Warriors series will be set back in time on the mining station Fortuna Tau, and will feature a battle-hardened Kordolian warrior and a feisty spaceship mechanic.
