Luke Austin meets Japanese K-Pop singer Tomahiko Akiyama when the tour he’s with takes New Orleans pop stars of Albertson Entertainment to Japan.
Tomahiko, or Tommy as he likes to be called, is the lead singer of the J-Pop group, Yukizumi. Not only is Tomahiko handsome and has a great body, but he’s also the nephew of a yakuza boss who spoils Tomahiko rotten. Tommy is like no guy Luke has ever met before. He loves the thrill of danger and owns one hell of a sports car collection.
So, when Luke's boss, Tory Albertson, buys Yukizumi’s contract from their current record label and puts Luke in charge of them as their new manager, Luke finally gets a chance to rub dirt in the face of their ex-manager, Edward Green, who stole Luke’s ex-boyfriend, Noel Charles, from him.
The one time man-whore has finally met his match, and he’s willing to risk his life to make Tomahiko his.

Chapter One
Luke Austin had just finished a strenuous workout at the Kamahachi University with some of his fellow co-workers from Albertson Entertainment. They had finished several laps around the field and were about to enter the locker room to shower when three black-clad ninjas appeared from out of nowhere.
“What the fuck is this?” his good friend Adam Montgomery asked as the newcomers stood before him, Luke, and a third guy, Edward Green. Adam was the eldest at thirty-two and responsible for the upcoming Asian music tour. He managed the R&B group, The Kerrys, when he wasn’t busy managing his hotels.
“The welcoming party,” Edward answered. Edward was older than Luke, too. When he wasn’t serving his country as a bodyguard and C. I. A. agent, Edward had his hands full managing the J-Pop groups Yukizumi, his K-Pop group, Dazed, and his fiancé, R&B singer Noel Charles. Edward stood over six feet tall and sported a lot of muscle.
An army of white dressed ninjas appeared on the horizon behind the ones in black. “Oh shit, they have company,” Luke said, pointing. He didn’t know what they had done, but he didn’t like the odds.
The ones in black advanced. Edward spoke to them in Japanese.
One of the guys answered in English. “Fight.”
“Go home, kiddies,” Edward said.
That must have pissed them off because the action began before Luke got a chance to comment. The warriors were shorter and slimmer, but actually quite quick on their feet and strong. He, Edward, and Adam were also accomplished fighters, still these guys seemed to have the upper hand. It didn’t take Luke long to figure out he was way out of his league. The other guys started flipping and flying through the air doing death-defying acrobats while simultaneously kicking their ass. The one fighting him was wiry and nimble and smelled pretty good. The one fighting Edward was flipping and doing cartwheels and actually climbing him like Edward was a wall or something.
Adam went down first, landing on his back. Luke was having a tough time, too. More guys in white appeared.
“Shit,” Adam said, getting to his feet. “More of them.”
“They won’t interfere unless these three get severely hurt,” Edward said as he continued to fight.
Luke frowned. How does Edward know that? Edward never broke a sweat. He spoke in Japanese again and the ninjas backed off for a moment.
Luke was glad for the rest. One of the ninjas charged Edward. Edward grabbed him bodily off the ground and pushed him toward Luke. “Here, this one is for you.”
Hell, he got the fresh smelling one again. The guy charged Luke and he went down. He ended up with the other male sprawled across his hips. He got a whiff of that cologne again. Delicious. His traitorous cock started to harden. The one on top stopped wiggling around for a moment. Then he climbed off of Luke. Luke hopped to his feet and caught him in a bear hug so he couldn’t get away. Adam had just given up, sat on the ground and watched the melee. Edward had the other two. He unmasked them. They were two Japanese males in their mid to late twenties.
“Who put you guys up to this?” Edward asked.
They both pointed to the one Luke was holding.
“Put him down, Luke,” Edward said. “Go home!” he shouted to the others who were dressed in white. “The show’s over.”
Luke released the fighter. Edward walked over and unmasked this one, too.
Luke’s heart skipped a beat. “Oh, hot damn, a Japanese Jonas Kerry,” Luke said. Jonas was one of the singers in the R&B group, The Kerrys who used to have hair down to his butt. This guy had a long black braid, a beautiful face, and porcelain skin.
“You three need to go home,” Edward said to them.
The next thing Luke knew, the guy with the braid started fussing at Edward in English. “Don
t tell me what to do, Edward. You don’t own me.” He did something with his hand and the others in white finally left.
“Do you know him?” Adam asked.
“Yes, this is Tomahiko Akiyama.”
“The singer?”
“Yes,” Edward answered. “The other two are the co-members of Yukizumi, Daisuke Abe and Akira Maki. They are supposed to be performing at Luke and Noel’s birthday party tomorrow night, but that might be impossible with my foot up their asses.”
The other two looked visually shook. They cowered behind Tomahiko.
“Is he dating anyone?” Luke asked.
“Which one?” Edward asked absently.
“The one with the hair.”
Tomahiko looked at him and arrogantly turned up his nose.
Luke liked a challenge. He winked at Tomahiko and made him blush.
Edward frowned at him. “He’s off limits.”
“Says who?”
“Says me,” Edward said angrily. “The other two, too.”
“Please don’t start any mess in this country, Luke,” Adam said sitting on the side, trying to recover.
Luke just smirked at him. Adam was still breathing hard from the fight. Having a twenty-year-old boyfriend who could cook was slowing him down.
“You can’t handle him anyway,” Edward said.
Luke helped Adam off the ground. “There’s not a bottom alive that I can’t handle,” he whispered to Adam.
“What makes you think he’s a bottom?” Adam whispered back.
“He’s one of Edward’s ex’s.”
“Ooh,” Adam said, still whispering. “Does Noel know?”
Noel Charles was Edward’s current fiancé. Edward had stolen him from Luke. Luke walked away laughing. He headed into the building to shower and dress. Adam and Edward eventually joined him. “Where are the pretty ninjas?”
“I sent them home,” Edward said. “I’ll deal with them later.”
“Let’s make this quick,” Adam said. “Tory is waiting to meet with us.”
Edward took them back to the hotel after they showered and changed into their street clothing.
* * * *
Ki Fujoika, assistant manager of Yukizumi placed his cell phone down on the table as his current boss Edward Green fussed at him in very clear Japanese through the speaker. Two of his charges, Akira and Tomahiko, sat at the table eating the breakfast their youngest member Daisuke had prepared for them. Daisuke joined them with his cup of tea. Ki started fussing at the trio. “Who told you to do that?”
Both Daisuke and Akira pointed at Tomahiko like he didn’t already know the answer. Tomahiko had always been a handful even as a kid. “You are not youngsters anymore and you should know better,” Ki said to them.
Daisuke got Ki’s toast out of the toaster, buttered it, placed it before him, and then sat down again.
“Thank you,” Ki said. Edward still fussed through the receiver. It was mostly Edward’s fault for teaching them how to fight. “Hurry up and finish eating. Mr. Kobayashi would like to meet with us at ten.”
Kenji Kobayashi was their boss and the owner of Kobayashi Music. “We’ll be there, Edward,” Ki said. “I’ll see you then.” He’d known Edward Green for almost ten years when the two of them took over management of the three teenage pop star trainees. Edward was a damn good manager but very strict. Someone had to be to keep these hellions in line. Akira and Daisuke weren’t bad on their own, but Tomahiko, who had a fantastic voice, was a spawn of the devil. He was always talking the other two into doing things. He had not expected an attack on the American visitors. Although he could understand why. Tomahiko was still upset that the affair between him and Edward had ended and he wanted revenge. Ki sighed. Tomahiko had no one to blame but himself and his crazy family. Edward probably got tired of Tomahiko’s uncle interfering in their lives. He made a clean break from Tomahiko and moved on to Ae-jong Kim, Tomahiko’s South Korean rival.
Ki put away his phone and went back to eating the delicious breakfast Daisuke had prepared. There was a lot of fresh fruit today to go with the grilled fish, miso soup, and vegetables. Fruits were very expensive in Asia. They had to be a gift from one of their families.
“Do you have any idea what the meeting is about?” Akira asked.
Of the three, Akira had more common sense. Alas, a follower and not a leader. He was responsible for costumes and makeup for the group. Like Daisuke, Akira’s father was a rich Japanese businessman. His family had seafood markets all over Tokyo. “No idea,” Ki answered. “But we better not be late.”
“Do you think he knows what happened this morning?” Daisuke asked. Daisuke’s family was in the real estate business and did very well for themselves.
“My guess is yes.” Ki bet that the four of them were in for another ass-chewing from the company’s CEO. Kenji had been there through the years, nine through fifteen. Then he hired Edward to manage Yukizumi. So an attack on the American visitors should not have come to a surprise to him either.
They finished eating breakfast and Ki went to his room and got ready. The three ruffians had gone to their rooms to dress, too. Ki didn’t want to make them nervous, but he thought Mr. Kobayashi was meeting with them to discuss the poor album sales. Japan and South Korea was churning out group after group of entertainers, and there was no way they could compete anymore, and now Kenji took on more trainees and invested more money. It was no one’s fault but Kenji for still trying to market Yukizumi as kids. They were twenty-six, and it was time he let them have some say in what they wanted to perform. Tomahiko was a gifted songwriter, musician, and dancer. He and the others were more interested in R&B than pop. Ki cracked a smile. Tomahiko was also very ingenious when it came to entertaining an audience. The fans came to expect his antics and Tomahiko didn’t disappoint. But he’d been on a hiatus. It was time for them to get off their asses and show the world some new music.
They left the house and Ki drove the black van into town. Kobayashi Music was located in the heart of Tokyo Proper, near a robot restaurant and a cat museum. He parked in his usual spot and all four of them got out and took the elevator up to Kenji’s office.
“You will apologize to Edward and his associates as soon as you meet them again,” were the first words that came out of Kenji’s mouth when they entered his office. “Luckily, no one was seriously injured.” He was seated behind his desk. Ki and the others hurried to some of the other seats.
Kenji Kobayashi was a nice looking Japanese man in his early forties. His dark hair was short and stylish, and he wore expensive suits. “We took it easy on them,” Tomahiko said. “Those guys weren’t wimps either and could fight.”
Akira and Daisuke agreed.
“Of course they can fight. They’re managers of some of the biggest idols in the world. So they better know how to protect them,” Kenji said.
“Ah, so that’s why you hired Edward Green,” Ki joked. Ki wasn’t much of a fighter, but he was good at getting the idols to and from functions and making sure they somewhat stayed out of trouble.
“Yeah, that was before I knew he was going to turn them into lethal weapons,” Kenji said sarcastically. “I’m glad you all can defend yourselves, but don’t attack guests anymore.” He paused. “Now for the real reason I called you here. “As of today, you all now belong to Albertson Entertainment. I sold your contracts.”
There were several gasps in the room.
“What did you guys do?” Ki asked after a long period of silence.
Akira answered first. “It wasn’t me.”
Everyone looked at Tomahiko. “What? I didn’t do anything either.”
“No, it’s not you this time,” Kenji assured him. “It’s me. I sold your contracts because I think he can do more for your careers now than I can. Right now, he’s meeting with his managers to tell them about you guys. They’re just one big happy family.”
“Did Edward have anything to do with this?” Ki asked.
Kenji shook his head. “N
o, he didn’t. He doesn’t know yet.”
Daisuke raised his hand. “Do we have to move?”
“I’m afraid so,” Kenji said. “You’ve always wanted to go to the United States. New Orleans is the place to be.”
Tomahiko raised his hand next. “What about our lives here? And our fans?”
Kenji answered his question, too. “Your family and fans will still be here. I’m not going completely out of your lives. Tory Albertson and I have worked out a plan where I take care of his American groups when they come to Tokyo, and he will take care of mine when I send them to America.”
“Yes, but was it really necessary to sell our contracts?” Tomahiko asked.
“Don’t you want to be a famous singer again, Tommy? The music world has changed since you left it. There is too much competition here. You will just get swallowed up in a sea of J-poppers.”
“Is Ki coming with us?” Daisuke asked.
“Yes, if he wants to. In fact, Tory Albertson wants to promote him to manager and give him another young group to manage, too.”
“What?” Ki asked. “A promotion?”
“Congratulations. He wants you to work as an interpreter, too, for when he has to deal with Japanese clients.”
Daisuke and Akira congratulated him. Tomahiko didn’t move.
“When will we have to leave?” Akira asked.
“No time soon,” Kenji answered. “You guys will be joining Albertson Entertainment on the rest of their Asian tour, starting with the show next week right here in Tokyo.”
Tomahiko jumped out of his seat. “Next week? That doesn’t give us much time to prepare. I don’t know if I still fit into my costumes.”
