R.W. Shannon is a native of the east coast. She is an avid Ravens fan but will tolerate watching the Redskins. W. Biddle Street is a Baltimore expat living in Tennessee. Born and raised in East Baltimore, he spent twenty years traveling the world at the expense of the U.S. Army before retiring and settling in Tennessee. He says Tennessee is his home, but Baltimore is never far from his heart.
Ran Walker is the author of the novels 30 Love and B-Sides and Remixes, as well as the novellas 16 Bars: A Short Story Mix-tape and The Last Bluesman. He has participated in the Callaloo and Hurston-Wright writers workshops and is the recipient of a Mississippi Arts Commission/NEA fellowship for creative nonfiction.
